Izuku Midoriya stood before the memorial, his name etched alongside the fallen. Stuck in a continuous stare with his breath caught in his throat and his mind unable a situation that should be impossible. His name. He was alive-- wasnt he? But his named continued to stare back at him. A shiver ran down his spine, the weight of this cruel reality crushing him. How could this have happened?

The world around hin was eerily silent, the weight of destruction suffocated him. Ruined buildings lay scattered across the landscape - a skeletal remain of a city that once thrived with life. The cold wind cut through the quiet, and Izuku couldn't shake the feeling of loneliness.

Suddenly, a distant voice pierced through the silence. His head snapped up, eyes narrowing as a figure approached through the smoke and dust. His heart leaped in his chest. Hawks. A hero- his ally. There was hope in Hawk's appearance, but as the hero drew closer, the hope faded.

"...Midoriya?" Hawks' voice cracked, disbelief and sorrow in his tone. His eyes - although usually sharp - were wide with shock, as though seeing a ghost. "You're...you're supposed to be dead."

Izuku's felt his breath go down his throat. "I dont- What happened? Why am I here? Why is my name on that stone?"

Hawks' expression twisted, a slight pain flickered across his face. "You died, Midoriya. You sacerficed yourself in the final battle against the League of Villains. Without you...we couldn't have won. Winning came at the cost of losing you."

Izuku's heart dropped. The world swayed beneath him, his mind swirling. He Died? Thats not possible. He won the war and survived. One moment he was saving a child and then he was here, in this broken world where he was nothing but a memory.

Hawks took a step closer, his voice filled with emotion. "Your death, Izuku, it broke us." Hawks turned to the ruins surrounding them. "This world hasn't recovered. After the war...heroes lost their will. Civillains continued to lose hope. Without you...everything fell apart."

Izuku's chest tightened. The weight of it all- his death, the ruins, everyone- they suffocated him like a blanket. "But I didn't choose this. I'm still here...I'm still alive. I need to go back."

Hawks let out a sigh as he shook his head. "Back? Midoriya...we don't even know why you're here. You're dead in this world. You're the last person anyone expected to see."

Izuku's legs gave out beneath him, his knees hitting the cold, cracked earth. His mind raced, desprately searching for answers that wouldn't come. He felt so small- so insignificant in the shadow of his own grave. The world had moved on without him- a crumbled world.

"I'm not supposed to be here," Izuku whispered, his voice breaking. Tears appeared in his eyes as the reality of his situation hit him like a tidal wave. "I'm not supposed to be dead."

Hawks crouched beside down beside him, his own expression holding pain. "I know...but you are, Midoriya. I don't know why or how the hell you're standing in front of me.

Clutching his head, frustration and grief bubbled inside him. Izuku could feel his tears beginning to spill over. He was trapped in a world that he didn't belong in. A world that couldn't even function without him.

"I...I need to fix this," he managed to choke out, desperation lacing his voice. "I need to go back. I can't stay here, Hawks."

Hawks placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder, his grip firm yet comforting. "You're not alone in this, kid. I don't know why you're here, but if anyone can figure it out, its the folks at UA."

Izuku blinked up at him, his tear streaked face filled with confusion. "UA? It's still standing?"

Hawks nodded, though his eyes held a shadow of doubt. "Barely, but yeah. It's the last stronghold for the heroes. If anyone knows what's going on with you, it's them."

Izuku wiped his face with his sleeve, forcing himself to stand. The thought of UA still being intact gave him a small spark of hope. It was something familiar in this broken world—a place where he could find answers. He had to get there, he had to understand what had happened.

Hawks motioned toward the horizon. "Come on. It's a long walk, but we'll make it."

Izuku nodded, his legs feeling heavy but determined. As they started toward UA, Hawks kept a protective watch, his sharp eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. The path ahead was uncertain, and Izuku still felt the weight of his own death pressing on him, but at least he wasn't alone.

Together, they walked through the wreckage of a world that had butied him, and Izuku knew that whatever answers awaited him at UA, they wouldn't come easily. But if he had to fight to return to his world—to undo the impossible—then he would. He had no other choice.
