*POV BELLA*

After all the jokes, surprisingly even from Carlisle. I continue walking up to Alice's room. My wolf growls at the chance to finally be with her alone. Once the door closes, we turn and push her against it. My lips on hers, her mouth opening for my tongue. I smell her arousal and my mouth waters at the thought of tasting her. I pull back to look at her making sure she wants this like I want it. She stares at me while pushing my suit jacket off my shoulders and I throw it to the side. Grabbing my tie, pulling my body back to hers. Her hands wrap around my neck and one runs through my hair. She pulls on it slightly and I moan instantly into her mouth. I reach down and grab the back of her legs causing her to wrap them around my waist. Her dress rides up as my hands move to hold her right below her ass. I attack her neck. Softly biting her. She tilts her head back moaning 'fuck'. The word shoots down to my dick and it twitches. She opens her eyes to look at me letting me know she felt it. Even through my boxers, pants and her underwear, I feel the heat coming off her core. As badly as I want this, we have to slow down. We need to talk. I push my wolf back in his cage. Remembering Alice and I still have a lot to talk about.

Bella: Alice?

I slowly move to lower her down.

Alice: we can talk later.

She moves to kiss me again, but I take a small step back. Her eyes are black and she starts to pout again. Which takes everything in me not to give into her. Everything to fight the instinct to claim her as my mate. I need to know first if that is what she wants.

Bella: Alice, I think we should talk before we go further. There's still a lot we have to clear up and decide.

She moves around me and starts walking to the patio, I'm sure needing fresh air to clear her head. I follow, needing the same but stay by the door as she leans against the rail. Not wanting to rush her, I wait for her to speak.

Alice: I understand why you didn't tell me about the imprint. In fact, I love and appreciate it more than you'll ever know. You gave me the choice I never had. Though Jasper did what he did, my feelings for you were there. Deep down inside but they were there. Much like you, everyone else knew. Only difference, I didn't know.

My body starts shaking at the mention of Jasper. When she turns to look at me, there's venom in her eyes. She's holding back tears. My wolf whines at her hurt. My body immediately stops shaking and I move to comfort her, but she puts up her hand. Freezing me in my tracks.

Alice: Bella, I want to give you the choice you gave me. IF we are to do this, I want it to be because YOU want to. Not because of some imprint. Now that my head and heart are clear. I see that you are my mate. Our imprint just not as strong. Vampires have the choice. Yes, we are drawn to our mates, but we can still live without them. Well, not really. We slowly die without them but only if we've sealed the bond and then lost them. Either way, we have a choice.

I couldn't bring myself to speak. It was moving that she wanted me to have this choice.

Alice: Bella, you were my first vision. The first thing I saw when I woke in this life. You were who I was suppose to find. And I did. I am choosing you Bella. My heart, my dead but now beating heart is yours. I fell in love with you and I've never been in love. I don't have much practice in it, but I want to do everything right with you. You deserve it.

This time I move to touch her and she doesn't stop me. I pull her into my arms. Needing to feel her. She loves me. She's in love with me. My wolf is the happiest it's ever been. She's saying the words we've been waiting to hear. I would fall on my knees, worshipping at her feet. But I need to say this first. I pull away to look her in the eyes.

Bella: Alice, yes at first it was the imprint but the more time I spent with you… I fell in love with your smile, your laugh, your passion, your mind, your intelligence, your humor, your bubbly personality, your confidence, your style, your loyalty… even though it was wrongfully deserved.

I feel my body start shaking again at the thought of what he did to her. Rage flowing through me again. My wolf is ready to phase and run to find him. Annihilate him for the pain he's caused her.

Bella: we are too.

Alice: no no dear Bella. We are VERYYY territorial. You're no longer allowed to walk around holding Jess' hand or kissing her or hugging her or…

Bella: we both know that was to make YOU jealous.

Alice: well, you did that very well and now you have a very territorial girlfriend who might have to break your hand if you touch another female ever again.

Bella: is that right? But uh, who said I have a girlfriend?

She presses her body against mine, pulling my face to hers and slowly licks my bottom lip. I suppress a moan which turned into a low growl when she distances herself.

Alice: I'm sorry but I only do these things with my girlfriend.

I step closer to her and tilt her chin up before brushing my lips against hers. I lick her lips and kiss her deeply. Pulling away and moving her chin to gain access to her neck. Placing soft kisses moving up to her ear. I lick the bottom of her ear before whispering…

Bella: girlfriend it is.

I kiss her forehead and turn to walk away. I can tease too. I grab some clothes and turn to the bathroom. She's still on the patio watching my every move. I close the door and lock it, chuckling when I hear her gasp. I turn on the shower and undress quickly. Needing to relax my body to calm my wolf down. He wants to mark her. I want to mark her. But we have to make sure she'll be ok with it. She's admitted to being in love with me and that's enough for me for right now. Till we know she'll be ok. He agrees and backs down. Sleeping in the same bed with her is going to be hard. Maybe I should go home. My wolf growls at me for even thinking it. He's right. We just got her back. We can't leave her. Fuck. I get out and quickly get dressed. When I walk back into the room, Alice wasn't there. I go to open the door and hear her downstairs talking to Carlisle. Not knowing if I should join them or let them be, I start closing the door.

Alice: Bella, come join us please.

*POV ALICE*

She's in love with me. She's not choosing me because of her imprint. She's choosing me because she's in love with me. Only down fall is she's a damn tease. My girlfriend is a damn tease. She closed and locked the door. I debate if I should still just go in. The want to be next to her, kissing her, in her arms, exploring her body…. As bad as I want us to take our relationship to another level. I have to talk to Carlisle. Which regardless of how old I am, he's still my father and it'll be awkward to have the sex conversation with him. I could go to the others, but I know they won't be able to answer the questions of science that he can. I swallow the pool of venom that has gathered in my mouth before heading downstairs. I can smell that it's just us, Edward and Carlisle in the house. They're both downstairs talking. When I reach the bottom, they both turn to look at me.

Alice: Carlisle I was wondering if we could talk.

Carlisle: of course, Alice. Is everything ok?

Edward: I'll leave you two to talk.

Alice: no actually you might be able to help. Well, with Bella imprinting on me and finding out she's my mate… well you know the next thing that both our beings urge us to do.

Carlisle. Ahhh yes. You're wondering what will happen considering she's a wolf?

Alice: yes, Bella is concerned too. So, we both agreed to take things slow.

Edward: good luck with that.

I roll my eyes at him. Edward has been a virgin for too long. I'm sure he was quick to jump in bed with Jake.

Edward: oh you mean like you almost did with Bella.

Alice: yet we didn't. Get out of my head.

Carlisle: Edward, let her talk.

Alice: I know one thing for us is the need to mark our mates. The need to bite them. But our venom is poison to the wolves.

Carlisle: we actually were just talking about that.

Edward: hmmm. Your need is stronger than mine and Jake's. That's strange. Could it be because she's an alpha or because it took a long time to recognize the bond?

Carlisle: both could be the reason. Alice dear, do you think you could be intimate with Bella without biting her?

Alice: I don't know. That's why I wanted to talk to you. See if you knew what would happen if I slipped or a way to keep it from happening. I didn't see a mark on Jake. Have you two not?

Edward: no we have. It's just not a need. It's mostly a want. On both our ends because a wolf wants to mark their imprint too. To them it's to seal the imprint. To us it's to seal the bond but it's mainly a territorial thing. I was actually just discussing it with Carlisle. I don't feel the need to mark Jake because I know his imprint confirms our love. Alice: here I was just wondering about my venom. Is there any way…

We hear my room door open.

Alice: we can do it without hurting them?

She goes to close the door; I'm sure wanting to give us privacy.

Alice: Bella, come join us please.

She walks slowly down the steps, probably nervous as to what she's walking into. She looks between all 3 of us before sitting next to me and grabbing my hand. I find this to be a comfort for myself as well.

Alice: we were just talking about what almost happen upstairs.

She instantly blushes. My sweet girl.

Alice: vampires like to mark our mates with a bite. With venom. It's a less poisonous venom than the one we use to change a human. This venom leaves a scent to warn other vampires. But none the less, our venom is poisonous to you guys.

She nods, I'm sure taking it all in.

Bella: and we wolves also mark our imprints with a bite. That reminds permanently on their skin. But we're unable to do that because of your hard skin.

Edward: exactly. Yours and Alice's need is stronger than mine and Jake's. Judging from what I see from Alice, ours is a want. But it's a need from her. Since I can't read your mind, I don't know about you.

Bella: it's definitely a need. Is there any way to test it?

Carlisle: Well, Edward and I have been going over ideas as to how they could do it before you two joined us. I think to test it… we can take some of yours & Jake's blood and add Alice's & Edward's venom.

Bella: ok let's do it! Where's Jake?

Edward: he went to do a quick patrol. I can go get him.

He's out the door and Carlisle runs upstairs to get his medical equipment.

Bella: if everything is ok, one less thing to worry about.

She kisses my forehead and I can't help to think it's the most endearing thing. We hear my heart flutter. And she chuckles upon the sound. I wonder if this is a forever thing now. Carlisle is back quickly. Bella easily extends her arm, more than ready to find out. The others are back just as he finishes filling a tube. Carlisle looks at them and back to Bella.

Carlisle: Bella, I want to get 2 more tubes. I want to test your blood with some of mine and Rose's venom. Because Alice is your imprint, there might be a difference in the reaction. Only if you're ok with it.

Bella: anything to get some answers doc.

Carlisle: ok. Alice, you and Rose each need to fill a tube of your regular venom. And one of our mating venom. Emmett, I will need two tubes from you too. To test Jake's.

Rose and I head upstairs to fill our tubes. Not wanting our arousal scent to surround the others.

Carlisle explains the plan to Edward and Jake when they come in. Edward runs upstairs to fill his tubes with Carlisle following right after. Edward drops off his samples in Carlisle's office before rushing back down to join us. We hear Carlisle go to his office soon after. And we wait.
