Author's note: Well I'm glad that more people are getting more and more interested into reading this fanfic, so I'm glad to keep working on it, but I'm also having a good progress on both Why am I Syrus and Tears of a New Start, so probably next week Tears of a New Start and Why am I Syrus will have a new chapter. So enjoy this chapter for today.

Replying Reviews:

Sleepy Guest . Nice to see you here dude, yeah the usual techniques Rando has he must adapt into his new style of technique to adapt for himself, so it will listed on his list of skills. And to reply your question regard to Haki, no, I'm not going to use powers outside of Togashi universe like Bleach, Naruto and etc... But when it comes about Nen and Spiritual skills, then it will be a free game.

Eccentric Guest. Oh yeah, he will appear around the Yusuke's gang, so get ready for the next arc XD.

Ghostly Guest . Hehehe, Kuwabara acting like Might Guy would give nightmares for many people lol. And about your question, I'm thinking about it. But let's see how things will goes to the future.

Cafe-Pasion41 . Thank you for liking the fanfic and have good memories of it, to be honest I have no idea who mikami is, and I tried to find her, so sorry, but I didn't get the reference. And your crossover idea sounds crazy and awesome, however I'm not able to do it, because I'm not very found of hamna and neither sailor moon, so I don't know much of their lore, so I prefer to stick with I know. XD

Hyper LOL Guest. Well I was also thinking about how crazy a person would be to be the inspiration of both Orochimaru and Mayuri, and while the idea of him creating his own assistant would be something Mayuri would do, I don't think Rando would do that since he also had his human soul now, but the Uncle finger slap was a genius idea LOL.

Just Guest. The idea of Rando having a relationship with both Kono, Juri and Shizuru would be interesting, I don't think Yukina should be on that category, because I love to ship Kuwabara with her, so I think it would be the best to give Yukina something different, like a more parental role he would give since he is already an old brother hahahahaha

Just a wee guest. Well the way both Rando and Edward acts towards being called short would be different, but you can see how different would be on this chapter XD. And also I don't think I would go that far on creating homunculus since it would be too much.

Mr. E Guest. Thank you for liking, sadly the answer would be no, I prefer to focus on the Togashi universe into using what would be the best of two worlds, Nen and Spiritual energy, so you can guess which techniques he would try to use on the time around XD.

coldblue2015 . I'm glad to see your review again, and while I was thinking of him being some different attribute type of Nen... Come on dude, Rando is a skill thief, you know which category of Nen does the same thing, so he is a Specialist, and probably the inspiration of what created Chrollo Lucilfer, and I'm glad that you liked of his trolling personality now that he had more people to talk with... Now to reply your questions...
1) Can we expect Rando be using Advance Nen Training exercises that will make him able to Enhancement, Transmutation, Emission, and Conjurer abilities?

1. Yep, since he needed to develop his own skills into finding a way to grow up his style, but it will take a while until he finally reach the advanced training or when he creates the advanced skill training for himself. He needs a bit of help though.

2) Will Rando be able to do something advance like create a Nen Beast or Parasitic Nen Beast?

2. Depends... if one of the 99 skills he had is a Nen parasitic or Beast, since we never knows what kind of 99 techniques it was, and how much he needed to train and learn them.

3) How many Conditions, Activation Requirements, Vows/Limitations or Risks will Rando add to his Nen abilities to push him into B to A Rank Demon Level threat?

3. That's actually a very interesting one, since I want to make sure Rando uses all his 99 techniques, I'm planning to create conditions, requirements, vows/limitations just for the sake it make him master his techniques, but also growing up way stronger by doing that.

4) Any chances of Post Mortem Nen and Rando getting a power-up that way?

, that's all I'm going to say.

5) Can we expect Rando to encounter Juri, Koto(Kono?) and Shizuru Kuwabara before their Arcs?

5. Sadly but no, Koto or Kono and Juri will only met him in the Dark Tournement, however Shizuru will meet him sooner since she is Kuwabara's sister, and Kuwabara's is friend with Rando... But she is a beautician and not a waitress from a restaurant, so somehow I will make sure they would meet. So don't worry.

Anyway guys, have fun reading the new chapter.

From all the challenges the group had passed through, something was still strange around the remaining candidates in the place. After returning to the mansion Genkai had, the group couldn't help but muse on how big the propriety of the Master Genkai possesses since all her years of experience.

In a group of hundreds, only 8 remained as they finally reached to the last trial, and when the doors were opened, it was a powerful glow from the sun reaching towards the shadows, as it was indeed dark and difficult to see anything from inside that temple.

The doors closed at the moment the group got inside the said temple, as it surprised even delinquents who were caught off guard from seeing the doors closing and making everyone covered in darkness.

"You crazy old hag, how are we supposed to fight inside this darkness?" Kuwabara ranted, and he was followed by Yusuke who didn't seem pleased as well.

"How are we going to have a fight if I can't see my opponent?" Yusuke complained as the others remained in silence, until suddenly… a slow glow of a lamp appeared above them, giving a slight glance of light which the group could see each other.

And Master Genkai who seemed to be the one who lit the said lamp was smoking a cigar, which she gave a good drag and breathed the smoke on the faces of the two complaining teenagers.

"You all will have to feel the spiritual energy of the opponent." Genkai decided to give the rules of the trial which every single one remained calm. "It's allowed to use objects and weapons to attack your opponent, you should win against the adversary and return."

Kuwabara felt his face sweating with the pressure of the silence, as he felt something ominous in the air, something spiritual that had been bugging him for a long time.

"What's the matter Kuwabara? Are you scared of what she said just now?" Yusuke decided to tease a little the other delinquent, and the boy shook his head and decided to be honest with the boy nearby him.

"I'm having a horrifying feeling, it's some kind of a spiritual energy very strange, I've been having this feeling since the time we got out from the forest," Kuwabara explained as he then noticed Yusuke's face getting serious. Which also made Rando blink as the boy who seemed to continue his explanation. "It seems like a monster or a ghost has been following me all the time."

Before Yusuke could say something, he was interrupted by Rando who just surprised Kuwabara.

"Yes, because I said I was following you," Rando complained as he placed his hands in his pocket, and looked annoyed. "Give me a break, this place is very hard to mask the spiritual energy, I may be good, but I'm not that good."

"What are you talking about Rando?" Kuwabara commented as he couldn't understand a word the young yokai had said to him, and before Rando could say something. Yusuke decided to change the topic.

"Hey, Genkai is about to talk something." Yusuke acted quickly, as he couldn't understand what Rando had been planning all the time, the boy was supposed to be the one who killed 99 masters or even more than that and being sadic like Botan and Koenma had told him, but somehow, the boy acted friendly, just like Kurama at the first time he meet him.

"Before we define the partners, let's start with the presentation." Master Genkai commented as she waited for each contestant to give a presentation of themselves.

"My name is Musashi. I'm the fourth Dange Kendo, I'm also master of the art of shinbatou, I hunt and exterminate demons," The swordsman was the first one to present himself, as Rando decided to step in and gave a glance to his friends.

"I'm Rando of the 99 techniques." Rando didn't beat around the bush, he already told him his name and nickname as he also didn't want to reveal more information about himself. The others raised their eyebrows at him and saw a person who was almost the size of a child boasting about how many techniques he had.

"I am Kiban, I search for the limits of the power. I'm a martial artist, and I know many techniques of combat." Kiban commented as Rando and Yusuke didn't feel intimidated by the biggest man in the temple.

"I am Shinei Shin Po." Then another martial artist who seemed to be from a Chinese style, later was followed by the ninja who had a tattoo on his forehead.

"My name is Kazemaru, I'm a descendant of ninjas… professional assassin, and an expert in ninja techniques." Gazemaru was the said ninja which made the group stare at the big man with glasses.

"Nazis" Rando coughed which made Kazemaru looks furious at the boy who looked around. "Whoa, who said that?"

Kuwabara tried to hold his laugh, as Yusuke looked confused at the ninja until he realized the symbol on his head.

"DAMN, THAT'S A NAZI SYMBOL ON HIS FOREHEAD," Yusuke shouted in surprise as he immediately started laughing,

"SILENCE." The fun had its time until Genkai decided it was enough, while Kazemaru looked murderous at the trio who seemed to be having a great time in the temple.

"I'm Kuroda the Killer, I'm an assassin and expert in knives." The person who said that was the man with glasses, while he was wearing nothing more than a grey blouse and black social pants.

"My name is Kazuma Kuwabara, I'm the number 1 bad boy of the school." Then Kuwabara decided to be the first of the duo to comment. Which Yusuke decided to present himself as well.

"Yeah, and I am, Yusuke Urameshi, the Super Bad Boy number 1 of the school." Yusuke decided to up the last nickname which was enough to let Kuwabara annoyed, and Rando look at them curious.

"You're both from the same school?" Rando asked and both nodded their heads which Rando decided to play a bit. "So which one is the number one?"

"ME." Both Kuwabara and Yusuke didn't like to have their pride taken away from them, and decided to rant and even punch each other before from the ceiling the arrows went down with a little paper marked on them.

Genkai was smoking while she was amused to see 2 teenagers fighting against each other and being stupid together, while she knew it was time to continue the trial.

"Let's define the opponents with those arrows." Genkai took out her cigar and decided to make the round of the trial. After giving the first choice, she knew exactly who would be the first duo to start their fight. "The first fight will be between Kuroda and Kazemaru."

The trio watched both the ninja and the hitman pass in front of them, as Kuroda kept playing with his knife, and with a good try to intimidate the others, he decided to ask some sincere questions to the master.

"Because of my profession, I always fought intending to kill the others, since my rival is from the same area as me, I cannot make things easy for him, will be there any problem?" Kuroda while he decided to be intimidating, Rando couldn't help but see that at least the assassin was polite to ask for clarification of the rules.

Genkai smirked.

"You all have been warned, this dispute is free for all, whoever fears for his life should quit," Genkai commented as Kuroda seemed pleased with the information, however, there was also one question on his mind.

"Also one more question, even if I win, won't you deny your teachings to me because I'm an assassin?' Kuroda spoke his mind, just to be sure about what kind of master, the old lady Genkai was. And for the surprise and awe of many, she simply didn't seem to care.

"It doesn't matter who was chosen, I will teach my doctrine to whoever was best apt of my teachings, even if the person was a jerk," Genkai commented which was an inspiring answer for the candidates, but a huge red flag for Yusuke who seemed to be in a mental panic.

"This old lady scares me. Each more it seems I'm obliged to win," Yusuke thought to himself, as he gave a slight glance to Rando and Kuwabara who seemed to be… "Hey hey hey, where the hell did you find popcorn and soda?"

"Hey Urameshi, Rando simply just suddenly walked away for a few seconds, and then he returned with some snacks and soda." Kuwabara was munching popcorn while he felt it would be a very tense situation, he couldn't be done with an empty stomach.

"Let me grab some." Yusuke never was a person who could deny food, and especially from the crazy day he was having, he took one of the popcorn bags from the white-haired boy who was drinking a soda.

While the other candidates narrowed their eyes, they remained in silence as the group watched the duo of ninjas and assassins walk towards the shadows and even give some bickering. Until they disappeared from their view.

Genkai waited until was the right opportunity, and decided to give the call.

"Start the fight," Genkai commanded, as the sounds of the fights finally were happening.

There were flashes of slashes happening in the air, reflecting the light, while the sounds of steps could be heard, as groanings and attacks made by the duo in the dark.

"Who is the one winning the fight?" Kiban asked as the others seemed confused just as him.

"Damn, There is no way I can see who is winning the fight." Yusuke tried to see more reaching the darkness, but he was very unsure of whoever was on the advantage.

Kuwabara was narrowing his eyes while having a slight guess of what was happening, even as he was eating a bit of popcorn he decided to give a hunch,

"I think the killer is having the advantage." The blue uniform delinquent commented as it surprised his friend with the possibility of knowing about the fight.

"He is winning. Kazemaru is having a huge disadvantage since his clothing is being ripped apart." Rando then gave a very more detailed explanation of the fight which surprised Yusuke and Kuwabara at the same time. It was very surprising that even at that moment he seemed to be with his book open, and was staring intently at the fight.

"How did… wait, your eyes." Yusuke was about to ask how the white-haired boy was able to understand the combat, but then he just saw a slight glow move around the eyes of the boy nearby him.

"Being able to see the spiritual energy, and use it to amplify your vision and clear up the darkness just to see the spiritual energy from the others," Rando explained as he was using the part of the technique that had been so essential to identify nen… a spiritual version of Gyo was in motion, but still the rules are the same. "It seems Kazemaru is getting cornered."

"Really?" Both Kuwabara and Yusuke asked in surprise, as Rando paused the glow in his eyes, and retained again his spiritual energy.

And then to the surprise of everyone, a powerful blast of spiritual energy was launched in the direction in which everyone heard Kuroda screaming in pain as it seemed the match was resolved.

"Huh?" Rando commented as the other contestants could see the same energy blast happening, which was indeed very curious about how the ninja was able to perform such an interesting technique, making the others impressed by the difference of skills each of them had.

Rando looked at Yusuke who seemed apprehensive, and he couldn't blame him. Seeing someone using a skill similar to Rei Gan and having a blast which was almost similar to a Kamehameha? That would have been a point where someone would be scared.

And then the group watched Kazemaru staggering in their direction, as he seemed to have lost a good part of his spiritual energy on the fight, and had been dragged to that point.

"The winner is Kazemaru," Genkai commented as the poor ninja felt the need to rest before the next round.

"What kind of attack was that?" Kiban asked as Musashi felt also impressed by the technique used by the ninja.

"I have the impression that he used a spiritual energy ball," Musashi replied as Yusuke remained quiet, Rando didn't see that suddenly his expression changed, and neither Kuwabara nor Yusuke left the temple.

"Well in theory a spiritual energy ball would be needed to create a mass concentration of pure spiritual energy, and find a way to release as a way to create a cannon with it, just like Kamehameha, it was very amateur, but in comparison with the original, using that as a good last trick on the sleeve to catch the others on surprise sounds good." Rando passed the few seconds making comparisons with what would have been the best description of the power similar to the one Yusuke usually would use as the main technique. At the time he was about to ask what the duo of delinquents would think of the technique, he suddenly found himself lacking the duo of rivals. "Hey… where are they? UGH, I passed too much time musing with my thoughts again did I?"

Rando rolled his eyes, as he tapped his foot on the floor, and stared at the master who seemed to be doing another preparation to sort the remaining contestants, and with the anticipation happening, he could understand the idea of who would be next. It could be either him, Yusuke, or even Kuwabara.

And at the time Genkai was about to enunciate the next duo to fight, she blinked and saw there were missing fighters.

"Where is the duo who were named Urameshi and Kuwabara?" The master of the dojo asked as Rando shrugged, not having an idea about what happened, but the others who were talking to themselves, pointed outside, making the master quickly leave the temple.

Rando was torn between going after them, but knowing how Genkai was from the anime, it would be almost asking to be punched hard, and whatever people would say about her age, he isn't stupid because of how very powerful she is. It would be suicide to get a punch in the face from her. Like what the clown Suzuki received at the time he got a 1vs1 against her… Needlessly to say it was hilarious but also made many fans pity the poor man who acted like a clown.

"UGH, I'm doing it again." Rando groaned as he felt very distracted with his thoughts, and thankfully he was happy to see that his thoughts got him enough time to see the door opening once again.

"Let's go, LET'S GO." Then a familiar voice came and Rando was happy to see Yusuke and Kuwabara getting inside, but then he saw a girl with white-blue hair a brown jacket, and black pants approaching them.

At the time the trio got inside, Rando blinked, and again, and again and again… As he stared at the girl which made Kuwabara and Yusuke notice his stare.

"I didn't know you were allowed to bring your girlfriend here Yusuke," That was the comment that made both delinquents fall down, and even the girl slipped from the sudden absurd comment.

"WHAT THE HELL RANDO, SHE ISN'T HIS GIRLFRIEND, HE HAS ALREADY ONE IN SCHOOL," Kuwabara commented angrily which got a punch on his face, by no other than Yusuke who was looking angry as well.

"Keiko isn't my girlfriend, and like I said to Kuwabara, Botan isn't my girlfriend either. Too many problems come with a relationship and I don't want to be dragged into that." Yusuke said while Botan looked angrily at the duo. "She was the reason why I'm here in the first place."

"Oh, so she is your boss then." Rando knowing very well the personalities and the background of each of them, he decided to still act innocently as he gave a comment which made Yusuke's eyes twitch and be ready to punch someone. And this time Botan tried to hold her laugh, but it was impossible from seeing the stupid face Yusuke had been doing and she couldn't help herself.

"Shut up Botan." Yusuke snarled at the girl who seemed to be having a bit of fun seeing the delinquent annoyed.

"Wow, treating your boss like that?" Rando commented as he shrugged and shook his head, while he walked towards the girl with a simple smile. "Hello, my name is Rando, for the sake of our new friendship please never say anything about my height, and I have no idea what possesses you the patience to hire someone like him since this boy is like a crazy animal, and that's coming from me."

"HEY," Yusuke shouted as Botan held herself from laughing, as she even was a bit uncomfortable in the presence of the boy with white hair. "Just for that, prepare yourself to get your ass kicked pipsqueak...OUCH."

Yusuke suddenly felt a double flicker of fingers on his forehead, and when he felt a painful flicker he looked at the boy under him just to then see the eyes of Rando who were shadowed…

"Strike one Yusuke," Rando narrowed his eyes, as he tried to compose himself, Botan could see that indeed the yokai was trying to blend among the humans, and she could swear the boy wasn't what was described on the reports, until she felt a shiver when Rando commented on a strike to Yusuke, knowing that boy was playing with fire.

"Alright, let's stop wasting our time and go for the next fight." Genkai decided to appear as she showed 2 arrows with the description names of Rando and Shinei Shin Po.

Rando:

Spiritual Sensibility: 10/5

Spiritual Strenght: 195p

Spiritual Energy: 80p

Shinei Shin Po.

Spiritual Sensibility: 10/5

Spiritual Strenght: 105p

Spiritual Energy: 71p

And from the time Rando and the other martial artists crossed the path… While the martial artist seemed to be completely confident in himself, Rando, on the other hand, was simply reading his book.

"Rando, are you sure that you are going to be fine reading your book in this dark?" Botan tilted her head in confusion as she never could imagine being so careful and calm when it came to reading before the fight, and looking even at him, she was having a few doubts that Yokai was willing to even fight with his book in his hands.

Rando paused, as he then mused for a few seconds, and then decided to flip a few pages, and walked towards Kuwabara which he offered his book.

"Can you do me a favor and don't close the book and don't flip the page? I'm on the interesting part." Rando asked the question as he offered at the delinquent wearing blue, who just blinked in surprise.

"Sure?" Kuwabara commented as the boy with white hair seemed to be ready to walk in the dark and just fight.

As a few seconds passed inside the dark, Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Botan looked anxious about what was going to happen in the fight.

"Well, from walking around these shadows it seems it would be hard for you," Rando commented as he followed the martial artist in front of him.

"I won't have problems with that pipsqueak..." Shinei Shin Po commented which made Rando immediately stop... and narrowing his eyes, he glared at him.

"Strike one... For your safety, I recommend you apologize right now..." Rando commented as the sound of his knuckles cracked just for tightening his fist.

"You are just a child, you still need to grow up kid, it's not like you are going to be a (...) and a (...) for the rest of your life." Shinei Shin Po chuckled as he didn't realize that suddenly both his sleeves were being held by Rando whose eyes looked so murderous that he felt a dread feeling on his stomach. As Rando took something from his pocket.

"START THE FIGHT." Genkai's voice echoed in the air, as Rando didn't waste his time...

"Do you think Rando is going to be okay?" Kuwabara asked in concern, and Botan and Yusuke looked at him weirdly.

"You just saw him giving a punch of 195 points, I would be more concerned if I was the other guy, but come on, Rando had that in the bag, I mean 99 techniques?" Yusuke scoffed, however, a good part of him was intrigued since he really wanted to see the boy fight. The ability to see the spiritual energy in the shadows, and fight like it was normal would be a normal ability to have. "And what's on the book? What's written over there?"

Kuwabara tilted his head and then gave a look at a single piece of information...

"Well the title is called Izutsushi (Lightning Palm)" Kuwabara just read the title of the technique but was interrupted when Genkai decided to start the fight.

"START THE FIGHT." Genkai gave permission for the match.

*Electricity sounds*

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." The shout of a terrifying scream was heard which echoed towards the whole temple, and the people could see from the shadows a very good glimpse of light appearing in front of them. Which made every one of the contestants horrified and surprised by the movement.

Rando was holding both the arms of Shinei Shin Po as he sounded like he was giving a lot of electric shock across the body, emanating light from lightning, and it had been the craziest 5 seconds they had ever seen. Since the lights went off, and the sounds of footsteps could be heard… Rando was carrying what would be a fried man who was still with signs of life but knocked from the torture shock he received from the boy smaller than him.

"Strike 3, you're out. And if I catch you saying that again… You're tongue is going to be the ignition point and your body will be fried from inside out. Crave that into your mind and soul, and never ever try to provoke me again." Rando said, but everyone from the temple could hear how angry the boy was, as he clearly had a powerful technique that caught everyone by surprise. "Master Genkai, he is alive, so I decided to bring him for the next match they wouldn't walk over his body or trip on him."

"Hmph." The master commented as she raised her eyebrows at him, and Rando walked towards the trio who had been sweating a lot at the moment.

Rando went to his place, and gave deep breaths, trying to compose himself, giving a few seconds to calm himself up. And opening his eyes, with a more stable and more controlled expression on his face. And looking at Kuwabara who was trembling in fear and holding his book, Rando nodded his head at the boy and took his book back, while he continued to read.

"Thanks." Was the only word Rando commented as Yusuke, Kuwabara, Botan, and even other contestants looked at the little boy like he was some kind of demon… Which ironically he is.

Watching from the screen, every worker of the afterlife stared in shock at the display of skill made by Rando at that moment, from seeing how seriously he tried to compose himself, it was terrifying on what the boy had done to knock down another martial artist. Not just the boss of the afterlife, but also all the Onis who were working and holding the paperwork in their hands, feeling a bit of fear in their eyes at the time they could see the sudden elimination in just 5 seconds.

"This time showed Rando lost his patience, and I don't know why, but it seems Rando kept warning everyone to not trigger him. And giving warnings as 3 strikes, he seems that something was said between them two in the darkness, and from that moment, Rando went to one technique with the objective to not just defeat but also humiliate and intimidate the others to their bones." Koenma explained as he could see in concern about something he felt on his bones. "I hope Yusuke doesn't trigger him, or he would be in terrible danger."

"Are you okay Rando?" Kuwabara asked as he could see his new friend was feeling tense, and was very angry at the moment. As he was taking deep breaths while reading the book. "You look frustrated, did something happen before the fight?"

"Oh… sorry." Rando who was still focusing on calming himself down. But even reading wasn't helping him much at that moment. And by closing his book he decided to compose himself and try to vent it out. "It's because the fight didn't even start, and the cretine thought he could get into my skin by calling me names related to my height, like baseboard painter, aquarium lifeguard…"

Yusuke almost laughed if wasn't for the expression of anger in the face of the yokai nearby him. Kuwabara was biting his lips to make sure he wouldn't make fun of the fury of the boy who just electrocuted a person in a few minutes.

"Can I ask why you mind so much about your height?" Botan let out a question which made Rando turn his stare at her, which made her meep and step back.

Rando remained in silence but then decided to answer a question with another question.

"Ever met someone smaller than you, but had high power over you, physically, politically, or whatever power that person had that you swore to yourself you never would try to do something stupid than make fun of his height?" Rando commented that Botan's first person who came to mind was her boss Koenma who indeed was far smaller than the others, but he had the high power to punish whatever person bureaucratically and make their lives a living hell. "It's a universal rule… however makes fun of our size and it's weaker than us… deserves nothing more than what it will get from us."

Botan opened and closed her mouth many times. As Rando gave a glance at both Yusuke and Kuwabara…

"FACTS, HE SPOKE FACTS," Koenma shouted with all his might, as he stared at all the demons bringing a lot of paperwork for him to do… "WHAT THE… WHERE DID ALL THESE PAPERS COME FROM?"

"Mister Koenma, we needed to have a lot of this signed quickly," One of the workers of heaven commented as many of them dropped their papers, which made the baby boss look at them very furious…

"COULDN'T YOU DO THAT WHILE I HAVE A BIG MISSION TO FOCUS ON? THERE IS THE FUTURE DISCIPLE OF GENKAI AND NOW I HAVE TO DO ALL THE WORK?" Koenma shouted angrily and many of the Onis trembled, and the baby looked very annoyed. "Fine, give me those papers, and I will be signing while I watch the fights. But I want you all to give me the short ones which are easy to sign because I don't want you guys to screw it up. NOW, COME ON, LET'S GET TO WORK."

"YES, MISTER KOENMA," All the Onis shouted as they gave the papers and the baby started to sign each of them, to come up with the paperwork in time.

"WHO IS THE NEXT TO FIGHT?" Koenma shouted as it showed the next to fight, while he would be focused on ignoring the less important details and would see the highlights of the battles.

"You both have 1 strike each, for the sake of our friendship I will reset the strikes the time we don't see each other after the tournament, but I swear if I caught you both doing 2 more strikes. The hell I'm about to unleash both of you will be enough for you two regret to open your mouths, even if we are friends." Rando commented as his eyes looked sharp, which was enough to make both delinquents gulp dry. "And it seems the next fight is about to happen."

"Third Fight, Kuwabara VS Musashi." Genkai didn't waste time since she already selected the next fighters, and the orange-haired delinquent walked toward the front of everyone, and the swordsman also followed suit.

Kazuma Kuwabara:

Spiritual Sensibility: 15/0

Spiritual Strenght: 129p

Spiritual Energy: 57p

Musashi

Spiritual Sensibility: 13/2

Spiritual Strenght: 138p

Spiritual Energy: 75p

The duo stared at each other, as slowly they walked away from the field, leaving the remaining crowd gathered and staring over the darkness…

"Be careful for him not to kill you, Kwuabara," Yusuke called his friend, who smirked before calling him back.

"I'm not going to die until I defeat you," Kuwabara replied as he walked over the shadows, and with that the whole group was left alone. Yusuke gave a slight glance to Rando as he seemed to have gotten completely calm again.

"What technique do you use on your opponent? It was like you electrocuted him. Was the one that Kuwabara read from your book?" Yusuke asked since he got curious about what he was probably going to fight against, but knowing 1 of the 99 techniques from the yokai in front of him, he would need to gather all the information he could have. Even as it seemed pointless, it would at least be a good talk for him.

"Wait, did he read my book? Did he turn the page?" Rando asked and both of them shook their heads, which made the white-haired boy sigh happily, "Well that's good. And to answer your question yes, it is… It's my Izutsushi (Lightning Palm), I simply transmuted my spiritual energy into pure electricity, which I used the right quantity of volts to give good damage to Shinei Shin Po without killing him…" Rando explained as he gave a sigh from saying the last two words in hesitation. "That cretin didn't even give me an interesting fight."

"But how did you convert electricity at such quick speed?" Botan asked as she couldn't believe her eyes, since most Yokais and demons would require a good time to concentrate their spiritual energy to create so a powerful technique it would take minutes to make it work, while Rando used it in a few seconds…

"Well… I had a little help." Rando commented as he took from his pocket what would be a taser, which showed a bit of electricity which surprised and even made Yusuke sweat drop from it. "Using this as ignition speed up the process…"

"You are crazy," Yusuke commented as he gave a smirk which marched from his own. "Remind me to not be on your bad side."

"I'm doing that," Rando commented as Botan who gave a slight glance, also felt nervous about Kuwabara.

"Hmmm, how is it going to be this fight?" Botan asked as Yusuke and Rando looked over the possible fight that was about to happen.

"Against me, he never won, but since he has a lot of grit, I think he is going to be doing well. Kuwabara has a lot of guts." Yusuke explained how possibly the fight would be, and Rando passed one more look from that direction.

"He is going to fight against a swordsman, to have a better chance of winning, he must either have a sword on his own, or he must find a way to make the swordsman lose his weapon." Rando gave the best explanation, which Yusuke and Botan gave a glance at him. "I think he will have a good chance in case he is intelligent."

And that answer alone was enough to make Yusuke feel down.

"Then he is screwed," Yusuke responded, as he hoped that maybe with luck, Kuwabara would find a way to possibly take out the sword from Musashi.

The fighters were starting at each other, Musashi as noble as he could be decided to give one last warning to the boy who seemed far more inexperienced than himself, and he used his sword to only kill demons, so for this reason he brought his wooden sword with him.

"If you want to give up boy, it's better to be now." Musashi gave a last warning which seemed to create the opposite from the other opponent. He still decided to be honorable and show how committed to going until the end. "Because from my part, there will not be quitting from a serious fight like this one, trust me, man's word."

"Come on man, don't come at me with chit-chat, I'm a brawler, fight is my way of life." Kuwabara didn't turn back on his word, and since he told the truth, he spent most of his days fighting, since he liked to be a delinquent and fight the others, that was what defined him. And since he was happy to brag about himself he decided to add. "And my spiritual perception is very strong."

And when he went to check on Musashi, he realized the swordsman wasn't in front of him anymore. And he was all alone.

"Oh no." It was the only thing Kuwabara said before a sword slash hit his face, making him go to the ground. He looked at the swordsman. "What kind of trick was that?"

And Musashi simply smiled and returned from the shadows once more.

"Oh my God," Kuwabara commented as he walked in the direction of his opponent, but knowing that only the shadows were around him, it had been difficult to feel the presence of the man who was supposed to fight him. "Where are you?"

"I already noticed that your spiritual perception is exceptional, however, I learned techniques to hide my spiritual energy," Musashi replied in the shadows, making Kuwabara try to identify where his opponent was.

"Come on, show yourself." Kuwabara looked in all directions, but he couldn't understand the person who had said that was behind him all this time.

"Around the shadows, you cannot defeat me." Musashi showed his presence, and Kuwabara was too slow to protect himself from the punch which knocked him to the floor.

"Damn you." Kuwabara immediately got up, to run after the man, just to see him getting into the shadows to surprise him with a jump kick.

And then he was punched and kicked many times. While it was a bit painful, it wasn't anything in comparison to all the beatings he got in the past.

"COURAGE KUWABARA." The Botan's voice was cheering for the delinquent boy who was just getting up and ready to keep trying.

"STAY WITH THE GUARD UP DUDE," Rando shouted as it seemed to be advice, but from not knowing where the opponent was, it was a lot harder than it sounds.

"OH! YOU IDIOT, IT'S NOT TIME TO SLACK OFF, STOP SCREAMING AND FIGHT ON." And that's the way Yusuke was supposed to cheer him on, which made Kuwabara even more annoyed than ever.

"LEAVE ME ALONE, I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING," Kuwabara shouted as he got up and cleaned the saliva that came from his mouth after the last punch. "Don't get worried about the others, worry about yourself."

"Don't be too stubborn."Musashi had to give the boy, he was taking well his attacks, but it was time for him to once more suggest that the boy give up now knowing the difference in their strength. "After all the attacks you received, you can't even remain on your feet."

That made Kuwabara smirk.

"Oh come on, don't make me laugh, a female punch like yours doesn't hurt me," Kuwabara even spit on the floor like a provocation. He even smirked further as he narrowed his eyes. "I'm not very proud of that, but I'm a guy who resisted a lot of punches from Urameshi."

"Well done Kuwabara, you spoke facts." Yusuke's voice comments could be heard from the shadows.

"Very well, let's fight then." Musashi then decided to do something that surprised the orange-haired boy, the man took from his guard his wooden sword and made a stance, ready for the fight. And Kuwabara could see something on it.

"What kind of sword is that?" Kuwabara could feel something different coming from the weapon, some sort of weird energy.

"That's not a common sword," Musashi explained as he showed the slight glows of pure energy. "This is a special sword used to kill demons, created from an oak of a millennial tree, bathed with a special water to kill Yokais."

"Ohhhhhh, very scary. Like there aren't thousands of it." Then Rando's voice was loud enough to make Kuwabara blink, as the tone of sarcasm made Yusuke start laughing and receive a slap which probably came from Botan.

"WHAT? That was funny." Yusuke's voice was enough to hear from the shadows, which Kuwabara would have laughed as well, but he was feeling the ominous presence of the said sword.

"Now…" Musashi composed himself as he used his spiritual energy to make his sword even stronger. "You are going to die,"

And when the swordsman jumped, he once again disappeared from the shadows.

"AGAIN? HE DISAPPEARED AGAIN?" Kuwabara shouted, as he then was surprised by the attack Musashi fell from the ceiling.

"Shinbatou Style, Koshiken Royal Sword." And with that, Musashi gave not just one slash but kept pressing many slashes across the body of Kuwabara, which had done a lot of beating on his life. The sword was coming like it was a vine, it was hitting Kuwabara his whole body, some attacks more misses than actually hits, but still, the speed and the strength of the said attack were enough to make him feel a very painful feeling in his body.

And the worst part was Kuwabara couldn't deflect, nor escape since both of them were in the air, it had been a terrifying combo which was impossible for him to escape. Musashi felt it was enough and went to the floor, and Kuwabara fell on his back after receiving a lot of pain. But then a sound surprised the swordsman… a sound of wood falling and hitting on the floor.

At the time he looked at his sword, he felt surprised and awe from seeing such a sight.

"But how? My sword broke…" Musashi made a little reflection on the possibilities, and then he couldn't help but be impressed by the person he just defeated. "You hide a very powerful spiritual energy,"

Musashi commented in admiration as he couldn't help but muse, that the boy was just a teenager, in probably a few years, he would become the peak and would be a very powerful person. He saw a good potential in the boy. But unfortunately for the boy, the victory was his.

But what he didn't realize, was Kuwabara taking the little piece of wood on the floor, and even struggling managed to get up.

"I know that I can still keep fighting," Kuwabara commented as he was ready to keep fighting, doesn't matter the consequences, he knew the person who he would want to fight in the finals, would be his best friend and rival Yusuke Urameshi.

"You still can get up?' The feeling inside of Musashi made him sweat, but he couldn't help but respect the boy as he gave a smirk. Now that he felt challenged. And then disappeared from the shadows. "Then prepare yourself because my next attack will be lethal… now then, tell me, what are you going to do with a piece of sword?"

"Really, what am I going to do with a simple piece of wood?" Kuwabara wondered as he felt the danger approaching, and suddenly his instincts warned him, but the person who came from the same way as before, falling from the ceiling and ready to attack. And then when the attack was about to hit him, he raised the peace of wood trying to protect him, and it seems the time had slowed down, and from all the heartbeats he was having. He suddenly felt an outburst of energy to grow up from the simple wood.

A yellow light of pure spiritual energy was created as it surprised not just both of the fighters, but also the people who were watching from far away. Since the light of the sword could reveal Kuwabara protecting himself from the attack made by Musashi.

"What just happened?" Musashi tried to attack, but the sword was clashing with the one created by Kuwabara.

"That's impossible." Kuwabara mused, as his opponent understood what he was witnessing at that moment.

"He created a sword with his own spiritual energy," Musashi said in shock while Genkai was also impressed with what she was just seeing.

"Creating the transmutation of the matter," Genkai explained further Yusuke felt shocked by what he was hearing.

"Wh... what is that?" Yusuke had no idea about the explanation given by the old lady which Rando decided to point out.

"He simply made his spiritual energy a weapon and instead of being launched like a spiritual energy ball, he is using it as a sword to cut things. A spiritual sword." Rando could have done a better explanation of terms using anime as a reference, but to people like Yusuke, sometimes he needed to state the obvious.

"Usually this kind of power remains hidden, but facing the danger and in contact with an object with a powerful spiritual energy made the true power inside of him manifest." Genkai decided to say further, as she could see the potential made by Kuwabara by having that kind of style, and from further training, he could become a very skilled spiritual martial artist.

Kuwabara seeing the wooden sword from Musashi cracking, knew he had to finish the battle, so he used all the strength he had, and gave a powerful slash that not only destroyed the sword but also gave a powerful attack on Musashi, launching him away on the floor, and even drawing a line with the cracked floor… And with that knocking out the swordsman.

Kuwabara was gasping the air, and looking at his new sword, he couldn't help but be impressed with his own power.

"An energy sword? It was me who created that?" Kuwabara asked himself in disbelief, which not only he, but the remaining fighters couldn't help but be surprised by the powerful energy Kuwabara was giving at the moment.

"Now that your spiritual energy manifested more and more, that boy is going to get stronger," Genkai smirked, in awe at the boy who managed to surpass himself, seeing the remaining candidates, each of them had the potential to become her student, even the ones that she was aware to be a yokai nearby her. And seeing the boy walking towards their direction, she said in a cheerful tone. "The winner is Kuwabara."

"Yusuke, I think you just found an unexpected rival," Botan commented as Rando nodded his head, and Yusuke smirked happily.

"Oh, that's going to be fun." Yusuke smiled as he gave a look at Kuwabara and Rando who seemed to be very strong fighters, and he couldn't help but enjoy the idea of a good fight.

"While you didn't fight me, you cannot lose," Kuwabara commented as he said his promise to Yusuke, which made Rando raise his eyebrows.

"Stop talking, this style of monologue doesn't work when you look like trash," Yusuke commented as Genkai decided to start the next fight.

"The fourth fight is between Urameshi and Kiban," Genkai said as the orange-haired boy pointed his back, in the direction of the darkness.

"It's your turn," Kuwabara commented as Yusuke felt excited for the battle.

"Alright, keep watching me and learn," Yusuke said as he walked in front of the big man…

"Yusuke," Then a voice made the delinquent turn his head to see Rando with his thumb pointing up… And he flipped down. "Kick his ass."

That was enough to make him grin and excited for the fight.

Kiban:

Spiritual Sensibility: 7/8

Spiritual Energy: 85p

Yusuke Urameshi

Spiritual Sensibility: 2/13

Spiritual Strenght: 155p

Spiritual Energy: 82p

"I will fight without mercy," Kiban commented as he went ahead, while Yusuke remained with his eyes closed and with a smile on his face.

And from a few seconds Yusuke remained quiet, and with his eyes closed.

"Yusuke what just happened?" Kuwabara asked, as Yusuke suddenly opened his eyes with a smirk.

"Nothing happened. I'm just giving a prayer for his soul." Yusuke said cocky which was enough to make Rando roll his eyes, annoy Master Genkai and even bother Botan.

"Why all this acting?" Botan asked in disbelief, while Genkai was on the verge of exploding, that even she took her cigar out.

"You idiot." Genkai launched the cigar away and Yusuke turned his body which made the sound of the cigar going on the floor. But still, the master was very angry. "If you continue playing like that, I will consider it as an abandonment of the trial."

"Wow, I'm feeling the old lady wants to see me fight. Alright then…" Yusuke felt satisfied with the public wanting to see him fight and took out his jacket. "Alright, let's get started it, let's go."

And on that time Rando simply smirked, knowing what Yusuke had just done, and from seeing the group departing into the shadows.

"Who do you think is going to win?" Botan asked in worry which made both Kuwabara and Rando say at the same time.

"Yusuke." The duo commented in such determination, that Botan was surprised to see both fighters didn't even bother to consider the possibility of the other winning. One because he knew from the future how the fight would go, and the other because of his solemn faith in his best friend and rival. And Botan and Kuwabara saw Rando once again opening his book as he kept reading it.

"Damn, the deeper I walk the shadows the less I can see." Yusuke felt the difficult position he was, since now was surrounded by the shadows. At least there was one thing he knew. "Hmm, he probably wasn't able to see it as well."

"Heh… you are mistaken," Kiban commented as Yusuke stared in the direction of the voice in disbelief. "I'm seeing very well, I know where you are."

"What a cynic guy, you don't have a spiritual perception like Kuwabara," Yusuke couldn't believe what he was hearing so by his body language he gave a step back in caution. "You don't have that kind of power."

"You gave one step back." Then Kiban commented something that surprised Yusuke from knowing he was right.

"How did he know that?" Yusuke asked as he was feeling a dreadful feeling at that moment.

"Can you see it Kuwabara? Can you believe that guy?" Rando's comments were loud enough to surprise Yusuke… "It was a very ballsy move to bring that."

"Ugh damn him, since when did he put that weird mask?" Kuwabara's voice was enough to make Yusuke understand the situation of the battle.

It wasn't Kiban's skill, but there was a foreign object helping him in the fight.

"For me, it was very common to fight in the darkness, after cutting all my perception around me, it was possible to track the position of the enemy with precision," Kiban explained the way he could use to see over the darkness, and after seeing his own spiritual energy glowing red, he could see a thin line where the spiritual energy of Yusuke was being shown, and the deep glowing blue of spiritual energy across his entire body. "You have incredible spiritual powers, so that's why it's easier to locate you, a big fight power emanates around your whole body. I can feel it easily."

And with that, Kiban gave the first attack which hit him. And then gave a powerful kick while he was on the floor.

Yusuke after seeing he was going to punch him, jumped away from the floor, and Kiban with a strong punch managed to break it and create a small hole. Seeing a good opportunity, he took a rock from the floor and launched it in Kiban's direction, unfortunately, Kiban noticed the action gave a few backflips, and disappeared into the shadows.

"DAMN HIM, WHERE IS HE?" Yusuke shouted as he remained calm, and closed his eyes, and then he started hearing a groaning on his right. "I heard from that side."

Yusuke quickly ran in the direction just to find Kiban waiting for him.

"Now I got you," Yusuke shouted as he gave a strong punch in the face.

"YEAH," Kuwabara cheered, however, was interrupted by Genkai.

"Don't celebrate too early. Kuwabara," Genkai could see something very fishy from the way Kiban remained in the place.

Yusuke used the opportunity to punch, kick, and give another punch and kick, but then he just heard Kiban smirking at him. When he was about to ask why, he felt a strong kick on his stomach, showing a very powerful counterattack. And the attack was so strong that it launched him at the other pillar.

"You locate me by the sound, but if you don't locate me in the precise place, you will not destroy me," Kiban said with an arrogant voice, which Yusuke was gasping the air.

"But that's impossible, that mask also helps on the counter-attack?" Kuwabara commented in shock while Botan looked in fear.

"That's horrible, not only he wouldn't be able to see the adversary, but Yusuke is also at a disadvantage in this fight. That's not fair…" Botan commented and Rando scoffed.

"Life isn't fair, but also when it comes to death, you will understand that it wouldn't be fair either..." Rando commented that Botan felt her spine shiver, as he felt Rando was speaking specifically of her… "To get strong you must give yourself against everything thrown at you… enemies, cheating, weapons, everything… Because if someone way stronger than you wants to kill you… who is going to save you?"

Botan closed her mouth, as she saw Rando having a slight glowing on his eyes, which seemed to be spiritual energy watching the whole battle.

"Yusuke must find his own way to see the enemy, or he is going to have a big chance of losing," Rando commented and Kuwabara and Botan nodded their heads. And Genkai gave a look at the white-haired boy with her eyes looking sharp as ever. Knowing that deep inside she knew exactly from experience the situations she was in.

Yusuke felt gasping, while Kiban was ready to give more.

"And now the final attack," Kiban said as he concentrated a lot of his spiritual energy on his fist.

"Look, his arm is getting bigger," Kuwabara commented as Botan herself was also unsure of what she was seeing.

"What is that?" Botan asked both Rando and Genkai since she wasn't sure of what kind of technique was.

"He is mixing the physical force with the spiritual to create an attack much more violent," Genkai explained as everyone could see the glowing arm appearing. Which Rando would have called Yusuke because of the glowing arm, but it was too late since the arm stopped glowing…

Yusuke wasn't sure what was going to happen, but then he heard the sound of footsteps coming in his direction.

"NOW IT'S YOUR END," Kiban said as he gave a guillotine with his biceps, and with a strong swing, he launched Yusuke too far away. That attack surprised most people, even Master Genkai had her eyes raised in surprise.

Rando, on the other hand, raised his eyebrows… Knowing that is still far from over. From looking at the memories of how he viewed Yusuke from far in the future, and from his last fight on the hell tournament... Seeing him getting beaten up like that, was almost pathetic which almost made him laugh...

Almost...
