*POV BELLA*

When Carlisle and Paul come back down, we discover that much like our blood. Paul's isn't affected much either. It takes a little longer for his cells to destroy the venom, but they are still able to do so. We call Billy and Charlie over to discuss all our findings with them. They run through how it's a possibility. Though Paul, Leah, Alice and I retreat to the living room, we can still hear the others in the kitchen. Charlie and Billy are the first to leave, stating they have a game to watch over at Billy's. Eventually Paul and Leah get up to leave. I give Leah a hug and promise to visit soon. Tell Paul to run patrol when he gets back and give Sam the day off.

Two minutes later, we hear Paul yell for me and Jake. We all rush out the door. Paul doesn't have to say anything, we instantly catch the smell at the edge of the driveway. Jake and I instantly explode into our wolves. When I notice the scent is going towards the Res, I howl as loud as I can. Knowing my call will be heard and felt by Sam and the others. Panic runs through my body at the thought of a nomad on the Res. I hear Paul say "Alice" and I know it's his way of asking her to take care of Leah. I give Alice a look and she nods to tell me it's ok to go. Jake, Edward, Emmett, Rosalie, Paul and I take off towards the Res running as fast as we can.

Sam: Bella, what is it?

Bella: a vampire… the vampire that was with the one who attacked Alice and Leah.

Sam: where?

Bella: heading your way!

By all the gods the scent stops right outside the Res. As if they were pacing along the boundary line. I send Sam and the others to patrol the Res. Jake and Edward take off to watch over Billy and Charlie. While the others and I, follow the scent to my house.

Rosalie: they were in your room Bella. I don't think they took anything.

Fuck… we follow the scent around back and through the woods. The scent is still strong, we couldn't be too far behind. I pick up the pace, but it leads to a cliff over the ocean. Fuck!

Emmett: come on Bella, let's head back.

I don't turn away from the cliff. Looking down to the ocean, hoping I can see something. Getting the urge to jump in and swim after them, I pace the edge. Judging the distance between the open water and the rocks.

Rosalie: Bella, we have to go back to Alice and Leah.

Upon hearing my mate's name, I take off back to the house.

Bella: Jake? Are they ok?

Jake: yeah, they're both fine. Sam will keep patrol over the Res. If it's ok with you, Edward and I want to stay here for a while too.

Bella: of course. I'll be at the Cullens. Keep me posted. Let dad know I'll call him.

When we arrive at the house, Alice rushes over to me while Paul phases back for Leah. I'm too upset and on alert to phase right away. When Alice looks into my eyes, I know she understands. She runs her hands through my fur, calming me but not enough. Emmett and Rosalie tell the others what we found while Paul holds Leah close to him. They decide to head home, Leah wanting to check on her family. Emmett offers to escort them back. We all slowly head up to the house. I pull Alice's shirt back to stop her from going in. Nodding over to her patio. She follows me as I jump up and phase back. Pulling her into my arms and remind myself that she's ok. Charlie is ok. The others are ok. We don't know what the female vampire wants but I fear it has to do with Alice. My body starts shaking at the thought. As if she senses my thoughts, Alice grabs my face to look at her. Her eyes hold worry, for me or for the situation I don't know but it pains me either way. When she starts placing kisses on my face, I can't stop myself from picking her up and pushing her against the wall. I kiss her with everything I can. Pushing my love and worry and need for her into our kiss. She kisses me back with the same amount of passion. When she starts running her hands through my hair, it sets a blaze inside of me. My wolf growling at the need of claiming her. I tear her shirt off and start attacking her neck. I go to pull her pants off, but she freezes.

Alice: Bella baby, not like this.

I pull back to look at her. I see fear and worry in her eyes. Is she scared of me? I gently put her down and step back. Lowering my head in shame that I frighten her.

Alice: no baby… look at me… Bella please look at me.

It takes me a minute, not wanting to see the same emotions still in her eyes. When I finally look up, I see love and concern.

Alice: you did nothing wrong. I promise… I just didn't want our first time to be like this. Not out of fear for me. I don't want our first time to be with your wolf. I want it with you. I love you.

Of course, she knows he took over. My beautiful imprint. I pull her into my body. Hugging her as close as I can to me.

Bella: you're right, I get it. I'm sorry for attacking you. I love you too Alice. Come, let's see what the others are up to.

When we get downstairs, Carlisle is pacing back and forth on the phone. Esme watching him from the coach and Rosalie is at the window waiting on Emmett.

Esme: he's calling our cousins to see if she possibly has been up that way.

Alice: they haven't, but they'll offer to come down and help if need to. Rosalie, Emmett will be back soon. Along with Jake and Edward.

I grab her hand and lead her to the couch. Rosalie turns away from the window but still stays close by for him. Like Alice said, we don't have to wait long for the others to join us. Emmett and Edward bursting into the room, followed shortly by Jake.

Jake: what did we miss?

Carlisle: I called our cousins to see if they might know anything. They haven't come across anyone new but will keep us posted if they do. Offering to come down and help if we need it.

Rose: can I just ask one question… why didn't Edward's and Alice's gifts pick up on her?

I feel Alice tense for a second before stating that since she doesn't know this vampire, she can't see her decisions. Edward following that he's been so wrapped up with Jake, he's tuned out others' thoughts. I see the look of disappointment on his face causing Jake to put his arm around him.

Bella: she disappeared into the ocean. She knew we wouldn't be able to follow her scent there. I don't understand what she's doing though. She came here, went to the Res but didn't go in. And she went to my house but didn't take anything. Her scent was strong, so we weren't far behind her.

Edward: omg! Emmett! That makes sense.

Emmett: seriously?

Edward: yes.

Rose: can you two tells us what it is you're talking about?

Edward: sorry, sorry… Emmett got an idea of the behavior from one of his games. It's almost as if they are scooping out the place. They came here, probably felt it would be dangerous with so many of us together. Followed our scents to the Res and to Bella's house.

We all looked at one another. Pondering the possibility of this. As if our wolves were in sync.

Bella & Jake: I'm not leaving your side.

*POV ALICE*

Everyone is on the edge in the days to come. The pack increases patrols, this time adding Forks to the mix. Since we have to keep up appearances in school, we're only able to join them in the evenings. Jake and Bella keep their word, never leaving our sides. As bad as Jake wants to transfer to our school, Billy and Bella tell him no. Stating he's able to do more outside of school. But Bella allows him to stay in the woods near by. It's enough to sooth his wolf till Edward gets out of class. Bella and I become the "it" couple at school. Normally it would've made me happy, but with Bella's wolf constantly on edge, it's hard to enjoy the moment. Our date was long forgotten. After 2 weeks of being on high alert with everyone pretty much just feeding and patrolling. I start getting antsy to mark her. It doesn't help that we're always surrounded by mating couples who have mark and claimed their partners. It also doesn't help that when she sleeps, she gets hard and presses into my body. As much as it makes me want to wake and mark her right then, I know she's running on fumes. Instead, I just lay as close as I can, whispering sweet nothings in her ear. Early one morning, the perfect date comes to me. I would need the others to help me make it happen. Knowing Bella wouldn't agree if it meant the patrols weren't covered. I send out a text to Edward and Rose, asking for their help. Knowing Edward would be able to talk to Jake and the pack. Rose would be able to talk to Carlisle and Esme. The only thing left would be to get Bella there.

Edward: Jake said he can get her there. Rose would ask you to go hunting with her. You guys would be able to get everything ready. Jake would phase and call Bella making her run there. Don't worry, we'll make it happen sis. This Saturday?

I can't help to smile at the quickness of the plan. I mentally answer yes. Softly kiss Bella on her neck and lay my head back down. The kiss causes her to turn to her side, causing her dick to press right into me. This plan better fucking work!

…. Saturday …..

The day is finally here... And I am beyond nervous, but I have to make sure not to show it. Bella would feel it and instantly be concerned. Carlisle and Esme are out patrolling with Sam and Paul. While Rose helps me make some food for Jake and Bella. Jake and Edward would be leaving to "patrol" after he eats. Rose and I leaving to "hunt" not long after. Leaving Emmett and Bella here to relax before their patrol later.

Rose: hey Alice, can you go hunting with me when they're done eating?

Bella quickly looks up at Rose's question. I see it all over her face that she doesn't want me to go without her, but she would never tell me what to do.

Rose: don't worry Bella, it'll be quick. Besides Alice hasn't hunted since Monday.

Bella: I didn't realize it's been that long. Alice why didn't you say anything?

Alice: I wasn't really feeling thirsty til just now at the mention. Will you be ok while I hunt with Rose?

Emmett: she sure will, ain't that right wolfie? We can finally play the new racing game I got last week!

Rose rolls her eyes at him while we all laugh at the big kid in him. Emmett, Paul and Seth have been the ones to lighten the mood these past 2 weeks. Something that's desperately needed.

Bella: of course, babe. I'll whoop Emmett's ass a little while you guys hunt.

Emmett: like hell you will!

They continue their bickering, stopping only when Bella states she needs to eat. I grab their plates, quickly washing them and rushing over to Rose. We tell them bye as we make our way out. At the mention of my hunting I do realize I should hunt before tonight. Quickly catching a deer on our way. When we make it to the beach, Jake and Edward are unloading the stuff from the car. We rush over to help; Rose and I start putting the tent up. While they start to gather some logs and firewood. Neither of us really needing it but it's for our perfect date. Once everything is set, Jake and Edward rush off back to the house. It's their job to make Bella think, the vampire is back. Causing her and Emmett to rush out looking for us. Emmett and Rose taking off once they arrive. I start pacing along the shore, nervous that she'll be mad for making her worry.

Rose: don't worry Ali, everything will work out. After tonight you'll no longer be a virgin.

Alice: haha… you're not helping. You know I'm worried about a lot more than that.

Rose: I know. But don't forget, Jake is ok. Him and Edward have been fucking like bunnies and he's still around. Seriously, enjoy the night sis. Both of you need this.

I take her words in as the waves crash against my feet. I hear Bella's wolf howl and I know it's almost time. Rose takes a step back. Letting me be the only one in view. I nervously play with the sand under my feet counting down the seconds till she gets here. It doesn't take long to hear her paws pounding against the ground. I can tell she's fully focused on me because Emmett stops in his tracks at one point and she doesn't notice. She bursts through the trees and stops as soon as she sees me. She looks from me to the tent and back to me. I smile at the possibilities of her thoughts.

Alice: sorry for measures I had to take to get you here and for the panic you just experienced. But I knew it was the only way. Though YOU owe me a date, I thought it was easier for me to come up with it. Don't worry, the others are handling the patrol. Trust, I thought of everything. So, can you phase so we can start our date?

I see her emotions go from concern to surprised to amazement to loving. She slowly phases back.

Bella: woman you are something else… a perfect something else. Come on, lets see what you planned.
