Sorry in advance for the short chapter! I was going to upload 41 & 42 together but I figured I should at least upload something since it's been awhile. Almost done with 42. Should be uploaded by the end of the week. Fingers crossed.
Thank you to any new followers, follows, faves! And thank you to the reviews! I had a beta for awhile but she's gone MIA. Sorry for any mistakes. Will go back and edit when I can.
*POV JASPER*
Everything is taking forever. Everything! Dumbass Tori doesn't have any new information. After our last conversation, I killed all the newborns out of rage. She told me Alice's scent was throughout Bella's house. Bella's and the other wolves around the Cullens' house. There has to be another way to go about this. I decide to go hunt, normally having a clearer head after. Though deep in planning, I know I have to keep my thoughts in the back of my head. Making sure a vision of my doings comes to Alice. Yet another part of me wonders if she even thinks about me enough to watch for my future. After 3 idiot humans, I decide to call Peter. He was my second in command and a good sounding board to bounce ideas off of.
Peter: what's up Major?
Jasper: I need some assistance. Care for a little company?
Peter: Don't be an idiot Major, mi casa es tu casa.
Jasper: your Spanish is still limited huh? I'll be there by morning.
Tori: you want me to drink from animals and enroll into a fucking high school?!
Jasper: darling, we needed a new strategy. And you wouldn't be able to work in the hospital. You would kill a human the second you smell the blood. We have to do this to get rid them. Trust me, it won't be long.
Tori: I don't understand why we're still doing this. Why don't we just forget about them and move away from this place? James was a fucking idiot that got himself killed…
This dumb bitch… I push out waves of love to her. Hastily wrapping her in my arms. Flooding her with emotions, I feel her body go limp against mine.
Jasper: I already told you. It isn't just about James. It's about this whole state being just for us. We can start a new life here. Hunt whoever, whenever and wherever we want without them coming to stop us.
Tori: you say the Cullens will come kill us if we kill the humans. Yet we've been killing them for months now and they've never shown their faces.
If I didn't need her for this plan, I would just snap off her neck, tossing her ugly face and body into the fireplace.
Peter: I know drinking from animals is repulsive. The Cullens are a disgrace to vampires for this alone. Not even adding the laying down with dogs. That is another reason to get rid of them. But think about it, what if they start turning more vampires onto this senseless little diet of theirs? Once it starts getting around that it makes it easier to blend in with the humans. It'll be harder to stop them. Not to add, if it reaches the Volturi and they decide all vampires must live this life. We wouldn't have a choice but to follow the kings.
I feel her will dissolve with Peter's words.
Jasper: Once we have enough information for our plan. You can get out of there. We can finish this and finish them.
Peter: and the Major can marry you.
Feeling the joy coming off of her, I glare at Peter. He's being an ass and giving her ideas. Her feelings change into one of determination. And just like that, I knew it was a great idea to bring him into this. Always looking at the battle from another side.
Jasper: that's right darling. We can have a wedding. That is, if you're willing to marry me?
Tori: willing? Of course I want to! Ok, what do I need to do?
We spend the rest of the night going over the plan. Thinking about any problems we might encounter. I let Peter do most of the talking. We agreed that his future is the least likely to come across Alice's visions. Getting her fake papers will be the easiest. Keeping her on an animal diet will be the challenge. Her thoughts against Edward's ability would be the hardest to master and considering there's no way to test it without him. This will be completely on her. I call up Aaron, to order the paperwork and IDs for her. Reminding him to not to say anything to the Cullens unless he wants to be my next dinner. Peter will set up a house for her outside of Forks, as far away from the Cullens and La Push. Getting her a car that's not as ostentatious as the Cullens. We don't want more attention than needed to be drawn to her. The Cullens will already be suspicious of her. I start taking her out to hunt animals. Her eye color wouldn't take long to change. Her will power to continue the diet goes up and down. But I'll give her encouragement when we go out together. I wouldn't be able to be in Forks with her, so I'll have to find other ways to keep her on track.
