"DJ Vamat? Is that even a name?" Johnny said.
"I never heard of him, but people are saying he's a hit." Hannah said. The rangers might be brave knight-like warriors that are meant to save the world, but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy themselves. Being teenagers, they also want to be able to have fun. That's why Hannah found this flyer for a new DJ at a club. "It sounds interesting, so I'm thinking of checking it out. Any of you guys want to go?"
"Can't. Since we've been busy saving the world, I'm a bit behind on homework." Austin said.
"Same here." Timmy said.
"I'm going to see if I can learn more about any hidden zords." Lance said. "The more we have, the more power we have to fight against these ghouls."
"That's too bad. Johnny, what about you?" Hannah asked.
"No thanks. The whole thing sounds lame." Johnny said.
"A simple no would have been fine." Hannah said. "Fine. Just don't complain to me when you boys miss all the fun." Seeing how it's musical fun for one, Hannah plans to enjoy herself.

Hannah
Hannah decided to go alone and check out this DJ Vamat. She went on in to see what this guy is like. Once she got in, there was a good beat going on and it seemed like this guy really knew what he was doing. Everyone appeared to be getting into it, and Hannah was starting to like it herself.
"Wow. This guy really knows his stuff." Hannah said as she could feel the music flowing through her body and it felt like it was taking her over. "He really is good. The guys are messing out. This is...mesmerizing." She was right. There was something about the music that's really getting to her.

The Underworld
"Gar! Creepna! Where are the two of you?!" Prince Ghoular called as he searched around for his two subordinates.
"Here I am, Prince Ghoular. Can I help you with something?" Creepna asked as she came in.
"Where have you been? We need to find a ghoul that will help us defeat the rangers so that we can begin our conquest over the human world." Prince Ghoular said. "Also, do you know where Gar is?"
"I don't know where Gar is, but I'm way ahead of you, sir." Creepna said. "In fact, I already have a plan in motion. I managed to call on an old ghoul to help me out with this, and it's already going well. Trust me when I tell you that the rangers will soon won't be a problem anymore." Creepna sounds sure of herself, but what sort of plan has she come up with that will defeat the rangers?

The Next Day
It was another day of school, but poor Hannah looks like she isn't doing so well. She's wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, and looks like she's been out all night.
"Hey, Hannah." Johnny said, but noticed she was in bad condition. "You like a terrible zombie."
"Do you talk to all the girls like that?" Hannah questioned as she sounded like she was in a bad mood. "I'm just not a morning person today."
"Hey, Hannah." Lance said as he and the others came over. "How was DJ Vamat?"
"Did he live up to the hype?" Austin asked.
"Uh... Yeah. I really got into it." Hannah said, but her friends noticed that she wasn't so well either.
"Hannah, were you up all night or something. You don't look so good." Timmy said. Something really weird is going on. However, they didn't get the chance to look more into it because they heard their morphers alerting them of trouble. Making sure no one was looking, Lance answered.
"What is it, Pro?" Lance questioned.
"No sign of a ghoul, but there are some battas. They're right near your school." Pro warned. Knowing that was trouble, they hurried off to try and stop the battas, but Johnny noticed that Hannah wasn't really moving.
"Hannah, didn't you hear that? They're practically right outside." Johnny said.
"Yeah. I'll be right there." Hannah said, but she wasn't really moving. The guys hurried outside and kept their eyes open for any of the battas.
"Anyone see anything?" Lance questioned. They searched around for anything suspicious, but that was when they came out of hiding and gave some of the other students a good scare. The guys were ready to fight, but they couldn't see any sign of anything else. "There they are, but what are they doing here? There's no general or anything."
"I'm not sure, but they're going down all the same." Johnny claimed. Then, the battas just went on and attacked. The boys just went on and fight. Lance fought his way through the battas. He climbed up a car and jumped right off to give one a good kick. One batta charged right at Timmy, but he grabbed it and drove his knee right into it and tossed him to the ground. When another came at him, he rolled out of the way and kicked it from the ground. When one tried to attack Austin, he blocked it with his arm and then drove it right into him. When another one tried to attack, he jumped right off the side walk and then swept the legs. As for Johnny, two tried attacking him together, but he landed a kick at each of them. When one grabbed him from behind, he drove his elbow into it to get free and then flipped it.
"Hang on for a second." Timmy said as he grabbed one batta by the arm and threw it into the wall. "Where's Hannah? Shouldn't she be here helping us?"
"I'm not sure." Lance said as he drove his knee into one and then gave it a roundhouse kick. "Let's finish them first." The boys kept fighting the battas off until the last of them dropped to the ground and vanished.
"What was that about?" Austin said.
"I'm not sure, and where is Hannah? Something weird is going on." Johnny said. It's only going to get weirder. Hannah stayed inside the whole time, but there was something off about her. She removed her glasses and they were glowing an ominous purple. Something is greatly wrong with her.
...
Later
Once school was over, Hannah was on her way. She's been acting rather strange and the others need to find out why. Johnny went looking for her and soon caught up to her.
"Hannah! Wait!" Johnny called as he caught up to her. "What's going on? The battas attacked, but you didn't do a thing to help. You're always telling me that we have to work as a team, but where were you when the team needed you?"
"You're... You're right." Hannah admitted. "Johnny, something feels wrong with me, but I don't know what. The truth is that I don't remember what happened after I went to the club. All I know is that I don't feel like myself."
"Really? In that case, something must have happened to you when you went to that club." Johnny said.
"Yeah, and I still feel it. We got to figure this out or else it's going to interfere with my responsibilities as a ranger." Hannah said. "Johnny, I think we need to go back to that club and try to retrace my steps. Maybe we can figure out what happened and we'll have someone to watch our backs."
"Good idea." Johnny said, but he had no idea that he's walking right into a trap.
...
The Club
Johnny and Hannah went back to the club where DJ Vamat was performing. He went on inside with Hannah and saw DJ Vamat performing with a crowd.
"This is where it started. What happened after you arrived?" Johnny questioned, but then he noticed that something strange was going on. He took a look at Hannah and saw that she was in a trance. "Hannah?" He wondered what was going on, but then he noticed that everyone else was in a trance as well...and the music was starting to put him in one as well.
"Excellent work. You brought another ranger to us." Creepna showed herself as she stood behind the two of them. "With these two, the other three will soon fall. Now, Vamat!" The DJ shed it's disguise and revealed its true monstrous form. It was a dark monster with razor-sharp teeth and had bat wings on it's back. Once it showed it's true form, it extended out its fingers and stretched them like vines. The tips of his fingers each had little mouths on it and bit down on everyone there. He was infecting them with something and it turned them all into actual vampires. The only one spared was Johnny because Creepna had other plans for him. "This is working out better than I thought. Welcome to the dark side, Black Ranger. You'll love it." She reached out for him, but Johnny surprised her by grabbing her arm.
"Nice try, witch." Johnny said with Creepna pulling herself free. "I had a feeling this place wasn't right." He claimed as he pulled out earplugs. "Was never a a fan of these kind of places to begin with. Now what's the idea of turning all these people into vampires."
"It will help clear away so many humans." Creepna said. "Once the sun rises, they will all turn to ashes, and you rangers will soon be joining them."
"Not without a fight." Johnny said.
"I was hoping you would say that." Creepna said. Then, she started attacking. She threw some kicks at him, but he kept moving back and blocked her. When he tried to attack her, she grabbed him and threw him to the ground, but he kicked her back. After that, he got back up and flipped at her to try and strike her with a kick, but she moved out of the way. After that, he straightened himself up and swung his leg at her again, but she grabbed him and threw him to the ground. She tried to attack him again, but he jumped back up. Then, she got behind him and kicked him in the back. "Face it. You can't win."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Johnny said as he reached for his morpher. "Call of the knights!" He morphed and readied himself. "The game's over, Creepna!"
"But the fun is just starting. Vamat!" Creepna called. Her minion stretched out his fingers and tied them around Johnny to hold him down. "Go, my servants! Enter the city and await your inevitable demise!" They all did what she said, including Hannah.
"Hannah! No! Stop!" Johnny called as he wanted to help her, but he couldn't get himself free.
"Vamat! Get rid of him!" Creepna ordered. Vamat sent an electrical current through his fingers and gave him a powerful electrocution. After that, he threw Johnny hard against the wall and knocked him out. "Two down, and only three to go." Creepna thinks that Johnny is finished, but once those two cleared out, Johnny was pulling himself together and was going to need help.
...
Chalice
"Hannah is acting strange, you say?" Pro said. The other rangers were back at Chalice and telling Pro everything that has happened and tired to figure out what was going on.
"Yeah. She didn't help out at all when the battas attacked, and she's been acting weird all day. It's almost like she's been avoiding us." Austin said.
"I'm also concerned about that attack. Why would the battas attack for no reason?" Lance questioned. That was when Timmy's morpher was alerting him about something and he answered.
"I've been trying to see if there was something we missed, but I have yet to find anything." Pro said. "We must keep our guards up because there's no telling what might happen."
"Guys!" Timmy called. "I think I know what's going on! We need to go now!"
...
Creepna
Creepna gathered those who were turned into vampires into on spot, a spot where the sun will have a clear shine on them and turn them all into ashes. Hannah was among them. All she and Vamat had to do was just sit back and wait for it to happen.
"Once the sun rises, they will all turn to ashes." Creepna claimed. "Until then, spread havoc across the city. Leave your last moments of this world with a lasting impression that will scare the humans."
"I don't think so!" Both of them took a look and saw that the Black Ranger came back.
"Haven't had enough punishment? Well, you're certainly amusing. At least I'll get the pleasure of dishing out some pain once again." Creepna said. "Vamat, make sure you leave him in a lot of pain!" Vamat went on the attack as he unleashed his own flock of bats at him, but that was when the other rangers showed up and blocked the attack.
"Johnny, are you okay?!" Timmy asked.
"I am, but we better finish this guy fast and free everyone from his power, including Hannah." Johnny said.
"Don't kid yourself! You won't win so easily this time!" Creepna said.
"I wouldn't be so sure." Lance said.
"You'll meet your downfall soon enough." Johnny claimed.
"Vamat, destroy them!" Creepna ordered. Vamat stretched out its fingers and coiled them around each of the rangers and tried to hold them down.
"Keep your creepy fingers to yourself!" Johnny said as he pulled out his Knight Shooter and blasted Vamap to free him and the others. Once they were free, they moved quickly and had to break the spell fast. Johnny and Timmy were the first ones to attack as they jumped right at him and unleashed mighty slashes against him.
"Alligator Disc, set!" Austin called as he placed his disc on his bow. "Fire!" He unleashed the blast and managed to hit Vamat with a powerful blow.
"Tiger Disc!" Lance did the same thing with his weapon. As the flames blazed around it, he charged right in and swung his slasher with all his strength. Vamat didn't even get the chance to become a giant. All that power was too much for Vamat to handle and he ended up being destroyed. Upon Vamat's destruction, all the people he infected ended up turning back to normal. All those vampires became regular people once again and the rangers have won...haven't they?
"That takes care of that. Everyone appears to be normal again." Lance claimed.
"So Hannah should be fine." Timmy claimed. "Speaking of which, where is she?" They looked around, but didn't see Hannah anywhere. "Wait. Shouldn't she be here and be herself again? Where'd she go?"
"I don't see her. What gives?" Austin questioned.
"Where did Creepna go?" Johnny said as he noticed she was gone as well. Something didn't make sense until Johnny thought of something. "Wait a minute. I don't think I never saw Hannah as a vampire. She had no fangs or anything."
"But she had to be. If Hannah wasn't a vampire like all those other people, why has she been acting strange?" Timmy questioned.
"Unless... Creepna only wanted us to think that!" Lance said. "She tricked us! Creepna must have put Hannah under a different spell! She only made it look like Hannah was to fool us and try to lure us into some sort of trap! Since that didn't work, Creepna must be planning to use Hannah against us."
"Which means Hannah is still under her control." Johnny said as he certainly didn't like the sound of that. Creepna still has control over Hannah, which means that she controls a ranger. How can they save one of their own now?
