I knew that Klea was going to be all over me and literally the next morning she was one me, "Ok so what the hell was that?" she asked, "I don't know but I don't want to talk about it" I said, "no Max! we will talk about it because they kidnapped you to do what?" she said, "first I went on my own and second I really honestly don't know" I said, "well I do have the stuff they drank I took a sample we can test it" she said. "I would rather not" I said, "MAX! like what the fuck!" Klea said, "calm down I am fine and honestly Klea I don't want to talk about it" I said and I walked away. I mean I wanted to hang out with them but not if she was going to be like this. I had a lot on my mind already I didn't need her to make it worse.
I sighed as I lay on my bed in my dorm, and I just wanted to get this week over with and go home. I missed Rex the most and I just hoped my family was taking care of him, I sort of wanted to talk to my dad about this. I didn't think this was a conversation that I wanted to have over the phone. I stared at the photo that the girl gave me, I didn't know who this person was and I mean did he even exist yet? This whole thing was confusing, and I felt like it was all some sort of sick joke. The more I thought about it the more I felt like it was a bunch of bullshit. I wanted to find Shane and talk to him, I grabbed my car keys and left, I bumped into Hunter on the way I knew Klea sent him. I just didn't have time to talk and I took off. I drove to the house we were at, and there were lights on I was hoping I would get some answers.
"Hey I didn't expect you to come back" Shane said opening the door for me after I knocked. "I am so confused" I said, "I bet I am sorry Jocelyn is a bit weird, she claims she has visions" he said. "Okay but what did I have to do with it?" I asked, "you were the key to the vision, it was about you, some detective that saves the world" he said. "I am not a detective yet" I said, "no but she sees the future apparently sometimes I don't believe it myself, but she has not yet been wrong" he said. "What am I supposed to take from this?" I said, "I guess to study the face and look for him or something?" Shane said, "this wasn't some sort of prank?" I said, "no it was real" he said. "Okay what was in that stuff you drank?" I asked, "nothing good" he said, "my friend has some and she wants to drink it" I said, "I would recommend she not do that. Look Jocelyn knew what she was doing, and we were her life link, if your friend drinks it than it could kill her" he said, "thanks" I said and I ran back to my car and drove to my friends. I wasn't going to let Klea drink it.
I made it back just in time as I slapped the drink away and she dropped it. "MAX" she said, "what?" I said, "I was going to drink that" she said, " it would have killed you, look I don't know what happened last night but I am fine Klea and we have a serial killer to catch in the future" I said. "Wait don't tell me you bought all that?" she said, "I don't know but it doesn't matter today right this second okay" I said, "fine" Klea said and I was glad she dropped it, "Oh I love this song!" Aria said, and I rolled my eyes. "What you don't like this singer?" she asked, "yeah I do but um this song is about me" I said, "it is not" she said, "it is my mom wrote it for me on my 12the birthday" I said, "SHUT UP your mom is Skye Sterling?" Aria said. "Yeah well her last name is Chapman but yeah" I said, "oh my god you are so lucky she is like my favorite singer" Aria said. "Well maybe one day I can introduce you" I said, "I would probably die a fan girl in front of her" she said, "I doubt that" I said and she hugged me. "I can't even believe this, I am like totally freaking out" she said, "I never knew this song was about you Max" Klea said after it was done. "Well me and my sisters, its literally about us growing up to fast" I said, "that is so cute" Klea said, I rolled my eyes again.
Klea changed her tune so fast, like it was if she forgot all about last night, I for one knew I wasn't going to forget. I mean I watched them die 3 times and then tell me that I am going to be this hero detective to stop a serial killer. I mean what was I supposed to do with that? It all still made no sense, did I believe Jocelyn or whatever her name was could see the future I don't know. I knew it was a thing in movies but in real life, I just it all made no sense.
"Max are you with us?" Hunter said, "what yeah?" I said, "he is so not" Klea said, "shut up" I said, "We asked you a question" Klea said, "what?" I said, "what is wrong with you?" Klea said, "nothing but that wasn't your question" I said, "no are we going home next weekend?" Klea asked, "I am yes" I said, "okay well Hunter, Adam and I are going with you" Klea said, "sure" I said I didn't mind we all lived in the same place. "I would love to meet your mom" Aria said, "I mean if you want to come too" I said, "really?" she said, "yeah" I replied, I did want to get to know her better. "Of course make the car more cramped" Klea said, "it will be fine" I said giving Aria a kiss. Klea literally had the biggest grin on her face, she knew I was finally getting over Scarlett, I was trying too.
