Here's another chapter. Enjoy :)

(Reedited 5/03/22)

It was early evening one night and everything was mainly calm around the farm. Eustace and Muriel were sitting in the living room, watching one of the classic horror movies that they both loved so much. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were in the kitchen, getting themselves a snack. Shaggy picked out several bags of chips and a couple boxes of Scooby Snacks and have three glasses a milk to wash it down.

"Like, you think potato chips, barbecue chips, chili cheese chips, sour cream chips, nacho cheese chips, ghost hot-pepper chips, spicy sweet chili chips and Scooby Snacks are enough, Scoob, old friend, old buddy, old pal?" Shaggy asked as he finished getting all of the chips and Scooby Snacks out.

"Raybe…" Scooby answered, eyeing the snacks dubiously.

"You're right, old pal We'd get a few more just in case these here aren't enough," Shaggy laughed, good-naturedly as he began to make some more chips and Scooby Snacks.

"Wow," Courage said, astonish, of how much these two can eat. "That's a lot a snacks." When I said I wanted a light snack, this isn't exactly what I have in mind. Though, this is what I get for asking a snack from those two. He chuckled, as he shook his head at himself, knowing he should of figure out that those two are always hungry for more.

"Yeah. Scooby Snacks are like my favorite," Shaggy said. "Little pink dude, Do you want any?"

Courage came over to the table and begin sniffing at the box of Scooby Snacks. "What are Scooby Snacks?"

Shaggy and Scooby gasped, as if they had been stabbed in the back.

"Rou, never had Scooby Snacks?" Scooby, gasped in surprise, as if this was the biggest shock of his life.

"Like, where have you been man?" Shaggy asked, in astonishment.

"Uh, home?" Courage echoed in confusion, wonder what he could possibly said, to surprise his friends.

"Oh well, I'd say it's about time you tried it, right Scoob?" Shaggy said, as he turned to the Great Dane.

"Reah," Scooby went over to the counter, and grabbed a box of Scooby Snacks, and took one of the treats out. He handed it to the pink dog, who looked at it like he had no idea what's the big deal.

"Ro on, try it!" the Great Dane urged.

"Ummm…Okay," Courage said, he hesitantly took treat and pop it into his mouth. His eyes shot open as the treat touched his tongue, it tasted sweet and coated his tongue.

In his mind he was dancing round, while chanting, "Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujahhhhhhh!" He gasped in joy as he fainted.

Courage was in the zone, as he felt a piece of heaven was in his tongue.

"Well/Rell…." Scooby and Shaggy asked, waiting for his reaction.

"It's….. Amazing!" Courage exclaimed, he went over the counter and grabbed some more Scooby Snacks.

"See what I tell you," Shaggy giggled, at Courage's reaction. "Don't ever question the power of a Scooby Snack."

Scooby chuckled at Courage's new found of a Scooby Snack. As the three friends ate their snack, they've heard a crash come from outside, startling the three. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage put their snacks down.

"Like, what's that noise guys?" Shaggy turned to his friends and asked.

The three looked at each other for a moment. The trio then heard a loud growling coming from outside in the distance that sent shivers down their spines.

"Like, Scoob, please tell me that was your stomach," Shaggy gulped.

Scooby listened carefully to his tummy, "Rope!"

"Like, and it wasn't my tummy either," Shaggy replied, with dread.

"I think it's coming from outside," Courage answer, in a shaky voice.

Getting up from their seats, the three went over to the window to check outside. As they've got closer, the growling got louder and closer. Getting to the window, they looked outside and tried to find whatever was causing the growling. But it was really heard to see well as it was really dark outside. Hearing the growling again, the cowardly trio looked towards where it seemed like it was coming from and saw a giant creature that was eating something. The trio's hearts almost exploded from fear and the three screamed when they saw the creature.

Courage then moved back and started to fan himself with a fan that he pulled form his 'pocket.' After a moment, he, Shaggy and Scooby ran to the living room where Muriel and Eustace were watching a movie. Courage pointing towards the kitchen with a scream. And this was followed by Courage morphing into a dinosaur as it went on a rampage of death and destruction.

To no one's surprise, Eustace merely laughed at Courage and called him, once again, "Stupid dog."

Muriel however was a lot more tactful as she glared at Eustace and calmly asked, "What is it boys?"

Courage kept prancing about the floor in terror, "Help! Help!"

"Rhere's something outside!" Scooby said, in a panicked voice.

"And it's like," Shaggy gasped, "Big!"

Muriel decided that maybe it wouldn't hurt to see what was troubling the three so much, so she went with them to see what had happened outside. When they stepped out the backdoor, whatever had been feeding on the trash was gone, but it had left the shredded remains of the trashcans behind with garbage either spilling out of the cans or strewn about. Shaggy and Scooby gulped at the sight, but Muriel was unfazed.

"Oh it's just the raccoons. They must be hungry," she said and then walked back inside.

But the three stood on the doorstep, looking at the wrecked garbage cans and strewn about trash.

"That was no raccoon," Courage said as he shivered. It's something much worse.

"Like, what was that thing?" Shaggy asked, as he shook in fright.

"RI don't know," Scooby answered nervously.

They all stepped back inside and they were greeted by the sweet smell of Muriel's baking. She was in the middle of baking one of her delicious blackberry pies and the smell could practically drive anyone mad with hunger. For a moment, Shaggy and Scooby were able to forget about what had just happened and focused on the old lady taking the pie out of the oven and setting it down on the windowsill to cool.

"This is our lovely dessert for tomorrow," she said as she patted Courage on the head and walked off.

"I hope we make it until tomorrow," Courage said under his breath in fear at what he saw and what it could be.

Shaggy and Scooby immediately, forgot about the pie and remembered of what just happened outside.

"Me too," Shaggy muttered.

"Re three," Scooby agreed, with shiver that ran through his body. Rhatever that was, I hope it just leaves us alone.

Later that night, while Muriel and Eustace are asleep, Courage was the only one in the room wide awake, he had been staring out the window for an hour of what was outside he, Shaggy and Scooby had heard earlier. He took out a pair of huge binoculars, to take a closer look. He give a howl of fear, as he heard a growling noise. Oh no! He took his binoculars and ran out of the room.

Shaggy and Scooby later that night had barricade the door, in case of a monster sneaks up in the attic that night, but despite being prepared, they couldn't sleep.

"Well, pleasant dreams, Scoob," Shaggy yawned. "See ya in the morning."

"Reah," Scooby replied.

They all then suddenly heard a noise.

"Like, this is gonna be a long night," Shaggy groaned.

"Ruh-huh," Scooby nodded.

The growling was then heard again. The cowardly duo then went under the covers, whimpering.

"Did you hear that?" Shaggy asked. "It sounds like something's out the window."

"Uh-huh," Scooby nodded, once more.

The two took off the covers and looked at each other.

"Listen Scoob, something's coming from out of the window, it might be a little bird or a squirrel," Shaggy said, trying to keep things together.

Scooby whimpered and they hear a roar. That was the last straw, as they ran out of the room panicking. Shaggy and Scooby raced to the stairs to only bumped into Courage, as they fell down the stairs. They immediately got up, and Courage started hopping up and down and run to the kitchen. Thinking that he saw something, Shaggy and Scooby quickly followed him to the kitchen as well. Entering the kitchen, They saw him looking around as if he saw something enter the house.

"Little pink dude, like what did you see?" Shaggy asked him, in dread.

Instead of answering, he kept looking around. Hearing a noise come from the window, the three looked over there and saw that something was trying to get the pie that Muriel left out earlier. The trio gasped and dove for the pie.

"Roh no you don't!" Scooby yelled.

"Raccoon or not, you're not getting this pie," Courage said as he struggled to hold onto the pie.

They kept trying getting back the pie, as if this was a game of a tug-n-war.

"Like….almost…..got it," Shaggy grunted.

"Rust….a few….more," Scooby panted.

The thing, whatever it was outside finally let go of the pie, only for Shaggy, Scooby and Courage to be flown back against the wall, with the pie completely destroy in the process. The pie was everywhere and covering their heads. Before the three could do anything, they heard a voice that got their attention.

"Ahem," the voice said.

Looking up, the three saw Muriel none too pleased with what she saw.

"But-But-But-" Courage tried to get out and explain himself but failed to do so.

"That's alright boys, I'll make another pie in the morning," Muriel said cutting him off.

"But, like, there was a-a-a" Shaggy tried to explain, but was interrupted by Muriel.

"Next time, use plates," Muriel told them before she left the kitchen and went back to her room.

The three got up from the floor and went to the window and started scanning the area outside. Like what on earth was that? Shaggy wondered.

"There was something on the other side of that pie, or my name's Alloicous. And it's not." Courage declared, as he ate the remains of the pie off his head.

"Well, like at least the pie sorta got safe in-a-sense," Shaggy said, trying to look of the bright side, as grabbed a piece of of his head and ate it.

"Reah," Scooby had as he licked his paws, with snickering, trying to lift up the mode.

It was early in the morning and Shaggy was in the kitchen with Muriel. They're baking another pie as the other one got destroyed last night when Shaggy, Scooby and Courage tried to prevent the creature from taking it. Opening the oven door, Shaggy placed the pie in it before closing it and setting the timer.

"Thanks again Shaggy, the pie should be done within the hour," Muriel said as she sipped her tea before beginning to wash the dishes.

"Like no problem Aunt Muriel," Shaggy said, as he headed out the the living room, "Making pies is like, my specialty."

Shaggy went back into the living room to watch the morning news with his Uncle Eustace, Scooby and Courage.

It contained the usual weather and local sports, which wasn't very much so he hadn't been very interested in what they had to say. That is until the anchor had mentioned something about a Bigfoot being spotted around their area.

"This is special Nowhere News. There's a Bigfoot in these here parts, he's been terrorizing Nowhere," the reporter announced.

Shaggy and Scooby felt blood draining from their faces at the announcement, "Bi-Bi-Bi-Bigfoot?/Ri-Ri-Ri-Rigfoot?"

At the mention of the name, Shaggy, Scooby, Courage and Eustace leaned in closer to the TV to listen in even better.

"He's been terrorizing Nowhere, now we know the cause of all of them disasters," he said as he displayed photos of various infamous disasters on screen. The anchor continued by saying, "We have proof positive that Bigfoot is here."

He pulled up a picture of a giant footprint that made everyone in the news studio gasp at the sight, even Eustace had to gasp at it, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage looked at each other, with worried glances. Courage felt terror coursing through his body, Is that what was here last night?

The news anchor removed the picture and said, "I hear tell, a reward is being offered by the Nowhere Museum."

"A reward?! That's for me," Eustace said excitedly as he moved his seat closer to the television.

"Twenty-five dollars and a lifetime membership," the newsman said enthusiastically.

"ZOWIE!" Eustace shouted, he had gotten up from his chair and started dancing. "A lifetime membership?"

"Can you believe this guy?" Courage asked, Shaggy and Scooby with a dead pan look.

"I know," Shaggy agreed, with the small dog. "There's like, a Bigfoot out there and all he cares about is money?"

"Rhere's is something wrong with that man," Scooby commented. Rit's like he cares about but money.

Turning back to Eustace, the trio saw that he was still dancing, completely in his own world. "Oh, baby!" he shouted in happiness before jumping up and clicking his heels together, only to be rewarded with sickening sound of his back cracking. Landing back on the floor, he placed his hand on his chair to stay up while his other hand went to his lower back in pain.

"If anyone has any information about any strange doings lately, contact us," the newsman finished.

Even with his back out, Eustace was still pretty excited. "A reward! A reward and a lifetime membership to boot! Oh baby!," Eustace said gleefully as he ignored the pain in his back.

The newsman continued by saying, "But my friends, be careful."

"Like, don't need to tell me twice," Shaggy stated.

Muriel stepped into the room drying her hands asking, "What's all the excitement?"

Eustace still held his back and said, "I'm gonna get me a Bigfoot," he laughed gleefully. He walked off still spouting about a reward and the lifetime membership.

"Now, what's wrong with your foot?" Muriel asked only to receive no answer, completely misunderstanding what Eustace said.

A cold shiver ran down Courage's spine, was it possible that Bigfoot was the one who was digging up the trash and stealing pie? "Maybe it was Bigfoot that was here last night," he told Shaggy and Scooby in a panic. "Although I certainly hope not."

"Oh man," Shaggy whined, getting scared now. "What are like, going to do?"

"We can't just sit here and do nothing, we have to do something," Courage countered, feeling worried for Muriel's safety.

"Well, like I guess if Fred were here, he want us to check it out," Shaggy said. "Oooh I can't believe I said that."

"Reah," Scooby said, as he whimpered.

A little bit later, the trio were searching the area around the farm. Clouds covered the sky, Courage was examining the ground with a magnifying glass while Shaggy and Scooby looked around. They felt even more strongly that the yard of the farm had become full of danger and Scooby and Courage's prickled with an expectation of an attack.

Scooby did not see the hole in the ground that he just fell into. "Rouch," he said in pain from the sudden fall. Getting back up, he walked to the edge of the hole and got out of it.

"Scooby!" Shaggy, cried, as he and Courage came running up to the Great Dane when they heard him fall down.

"You, okay?" Courage asked.

"Reah, I'm okay," Scooby told them as he dusted myself. Hearing a gasp and a zoinks, Scooby turned to Shaggy and Courage to see that they're in shock and their eyes widened with fear while looking at the hole that Scooby fell into. Turning around, Scooby gave out a "Rikes!"

It was a gigantic FOOTPRINT in the ground that can only belong to the creature known as Bigfoot. Courage imagined, of all the horrible things that Bigfoot might do to Shaggy, Scooby and Muriel.

Courage screamed in fear before leaving his magnifying glass and running as fast as he can back to the house.

"Like, wait for us!" Shaggy called out, as he and Scooby ran after Courage.

Back at the house, Eustace was going through his various trap items that he was planning to use in his hunt and was marking them off on his checklist. Courage, Shaggy and Scooby went up to Eustace and tried to tell him what they've saw. Courage even turned into a giant hairy foot to try and help get the point across.

"Like, there's a big footprint outside!" Shaggy panted, with alarm.

"Reah, a big footprint!" Scooby added.

"Get away from me, I'm going to get me a reward," Eustace growled at them before smiling wickedly when he mentioned the reward again.

Like, doesn't my uncle ever listen to us? Shaggy thought.

The trio were about to try again but was stopped when they all heard the doorbell ring.

Eustace, annoyed by the disturbance, walked over to the door, threw it open and rudely said, "We don't need any."

Standing on the porch was a little old lady, she had a worried expression on her face like she was looking for something and desperately needed to find it. Didn't help that she looked as helpless as one could look.

She looked up at Eustace and said, "Please mister, my little boy is lost. You seen my little boy?"

Eustace angrily stated, "Ain't seen no lost boy," he then slammed the door in her face.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage looked at each other, in pity and worried glances.

"Like poor little guy, lost and with a Bigfoot on the lose," Shaggy said, feeling bad for the woman. And doesn't even my uncle dude ever had a heart?

"Reah, poor little boy," Scooby said, with tearful eyes.

"I just hope he finds his way home," Courage said, feeling sympathy for that woman, he knows how she feels when something he cares about is gone.

"Who was that?" Muriel asked, as she walked into the room.

Eustace walked right past Muriel and simply said, "Nobody."

He began gathering up all of his things and prepared to set out on his Bigfoot hunt. Eustace finished gathering his things and said, "Gonna get me a Bigfoot," as he walked out the door.

Everyone all looked at each other a moment before Muriel broke the silence. "Come on you three. Let's have some pie." She told the trio before entering the kitchen.

"Who can worry on an empty stomach?" Courage asked with a smile, feeling hunger in his belly.

"Like Courage, you just spoke our language," Shaggy said, with a grin.

"Reah," Scooby agreed, with a chuckle.

But as the three of them walked into the kitchen, their jaws just hit the floor. Standing the middle of the kitchen was the one that the three had been searching for. His fur a reddish brown and hairy feet so large. A grey beard adorned his chin while his eyes were a mix of blue and white. He stood at a slight hunch and stood about as tall as Muriel, who was currently feeding him an entire pie.

He turned his head and saw the three frightened friends standing in the doorway.

"Zoinks!" Shaggy shrieked.

"Rikes!" Scooby screamed, as he leaped into Shaggy's arms.

Courage screamed as soon as he saw the creature, the creature heard Courage scream and turned to face him and roared back at him, they kept on screaming like this for a few more minutes before finally stopping.

"I think I'll have a wee cup of tea," Muriel said suddenly. Completely ignorant of the fact that Courage and Bigfoot just screamed/roared at each other.

"What do we do!? What do we do?!" Courage quickly asked, anxiously.

Then an idea came cross Scooby's head and he yelled, "ROOD FIGHT!"

Courage grabbed a watermelon and chucked it at the creature, the watermelon struck the beast in the head and in retaliation, he grabbed one of the pies and chucked it Courage who just barely dodged the pie.

"Hey! We were like going to eat that," Shaggy complained, he then felt a surge of fury. "Oh it's on now!" he threw a tomato at Bigfoot.

He missed though as Bigfoot dodged to the side who then grabbed the kitchen table and placed it on its side in front of him to act as makeshift cover. He then went in cover and pulled out a roasted pig and threw it at Shaggy. Shaggy managed to dodge it in time though.

Courage hand Scooby a whole cooked turkey, taking it a he threw it at Bigfoot only to miss as it hit the table and not him. Courage tossed a few bananas but was blindfolded the whole time, Bigfoot was now angry and held a crab cake, as evident by the crab arms that were in his dish.

Right now, it was a constant flow of food being throw from both sides, any and all food types were being thrown at each other. Even a whale and jack-o-lantern being thrown.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage at one point even started using three fishes as bats to launch the food Bigfoot threw back at them, the three even started to taunt Bigfoot a few times.

All the while, Muriel was sipping her tea and acting like this was all normal, they have somehow stared making small objects of real-life things. Like a lady holding a torch, to a military person and to an elephant, Courage then threw a pineapple at the elephant in an attempt to create something new.

Only to destroy in instead and cause all the fruit the made up the elephant to fly everywhere, a banana even flew to the radio and turned it on to some tropical dance music. And somehow from that small elephant, enough fruit covered Bigfoot, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage to give fruit hats and skirts. The four then moved right under the light and started to dance. They kept on going for a while with them switching up dancing styles every few minutes. It was only stopped when Eustace came into the kitchen. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all felt their bodies turned to ice.

"Hey! What's for dinner?" he called out as he stepped into the room.

But as he set eyes on Bigfoot, he gasped and then proceeded to scream, Bigfoot roared back at him in response. Thankfully it didn't last as Eustace ran out the door and out of sight, the four merely shrugged and started to go back to dancing.

That was when the rock flew through the window and the angry mob could be heard, the rock itself, collided with Bigfoot's head and the shattering sound woke up Muriel who had dozed off during the food fight.

"Wha-What's going on?" Muriel asked as she looked around the kitchen.

"Bigfoot! Bigfoot! Bigfoot! Bigfoot!" the chanting said.

Concerned, Shaggy, Scooby, Courage and Bigfoot went to the window to look outside to see what was happening, and what they've saw scared them. There was an angry crowd demanding for Bigfoot to come out, each and every single one of them had either a pitchfork or torch in their hands.

Then they saw that Eustace was leading the mob as he came forward with an ankle clamp and cried out, "Bigfoot! Come on out!"

The mob became even more energetic than they were just a moment before, Shaggy, Scooby, Courage and Bigfoot huddled together, both jittering and chattering in fear of the rising mob outside.

It was here that a group of people broke through the mob with a giant log, they watched as the men went around to the other side of the house and began banging it against the front door, beginning to splinter the thing in the process.

It was here that Bigfoot finally snapped, he let out a roar of rage and then smashed right through the kitchen wall and ran outside and roared even more at the mob around them.

Bigfoot roared even more at the crowd as Shaggy, Scooby and Courage came running out of the kitchen and began trying to address the crowd.

"Like, don't hurt him," Shaggy pleaded.

"Reah," Scooby pointed out, "Re's a nice Rigfoot."

Courage even morphed into an angelic version of Bigfoot to try to win over the crowd, "Please he doesn't wanna hurt anybody!"

However, it fell on deaf ears. "What are you, men or what!? Get that Bigfoot! I want my reward! And my lifetime membership!" Eustace shouted to the mob.

The crowd rallied around him and began to approach Bigfoot, preparing to do whatever to him, but they were stopped when a voice rose above their own.

"What are you doing to my boy?" came a vaguely familiar voice.

It was here that the little old lady that Eustace had slammed the door on earlier, came running out of the crowd and towards the creature.

"Theodore!" she called out.

The creature saw her, smiled and growled out, "MOMMY!"

The two ran to each other and caught each other in a hug, which caused the crowd to calm down and all go, "Aww!" The crowd all looked ashamed of their actions and watched the sweet display in front of them, some of them even began to lower their weapons in response. Even Shaggy, Scooby, Courage and Muriel had to admit that the display was a cute one.

So that's the old woman's son. Courage thought, with a smile.

The only one that was not in love with the display was Eustace, who's face turned sour as the prospects of his reward and lifetime membership to the museum of Nowhere were quickly dwindling. He took the ankle brace and quickly fastened it around Bigfoot's ankle. Both Bigfoot and his mother were in shock and the both of them even began to jitter in fear.

Scooby glanced nervously at Eustace, Ris he really gonna turned Rigfoot in even after all that?

Eustace laughed at his victory and said, "The reward is mine!"

Muriel however was not amused and threw her rolling pin at him, getting him in the head, "Eustace, take that collar off the child's ankle," Muriel demanded.

Eustace merely crossed his arms and said, "NO!"

That's when the crowd became angry again as they lifted up their weapons, this time approaching Eustace and yelling, "YES!"

Eustace remained defiant and said, "Make me!"

The mob apparently wanted this as they seemed to smile and began to chase after Eustace.

"Ahh. Stay back. Ahh!" Eustace said, terrified before screamed as he turned and ran across the field and into the distance with the mob chasing him close behind.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage went over to Bigfoot and Courage unclamped the brace from around his ankle, freeing him.

"You're free to go," Courage said.

While Bigfoot may have been free of the clamp, he wasn't free from his mother's wrath.

She wagged her finger at him and said, "Next time you want to play, stay in OUR backyard," as she scolded him.

"Sorry mommy," Bigfoot apologized.

"How many times have I told you? You stay around the house," his mom reprimanded him as she grabbed his ear and made him follow her back to their home.

Soon, everyone was on the front porch eating some pie.

"There's a little Bigfoot in us all, isn't there?" Courage asked, Shaggy and Scooby with a smile. He turned to Scooby and whispered "May I have some more of those Scooby Snacks?"

Scooby chuckled, and handed over the box to Courage, who glady took it from Scooby and begin digging his head into the box.

Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other and chuckled.

"Like, I guess we found someone who besides us loves Scooby Snacks, right Scoob?" Shaggy said.

"Reah," Scooby said, before turning to the reader. "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!"

Well that's all for this chapter, I wanted to make Courage to love Scooby Snacks, as much Scooby and Shaggy do, I hope the writers make Courage eat some Scooby Snacks in the new movie. I would love to see how he would react. Until then see you all in the next chapter. :)
