Chapter 25: Loo Loo Land Part 2
Meanwhile, Moxxie and Millie are exploring around the game booths.
Soon someone calls out that catches Millie's attention, "Hello, hello! Step right up and win a thing!"
Moxxie and Millie walks to the game booth to see the game,
Millie gasps in excitement, "Oh, look Moxxie! A thing!"
Moxxie looks to see the 'Thing' is some kind of purple stuffed penguin with black and white striped imp horns, and wears pink overalls.
"Oh, you like that thing?" Moxxie asks, seeing his wife interested in the doll.
Millie shouts with excitement, "YEEEEESSS! I don't really know what that thing is but I want that thing!"
With a smug look on his face, Moxxie pulls his bow tie and says, "Finally, something I can handle."
Moxxie then takes a dollar and passes it to the vendor, "Okay! One game, please!"
Millie smiles with excitement. As the vendor takes the piston out with his tail. Feeling confident, Moxxie aims the toy pistol at the target and fires it at the target. The cork hits a bullseye, but the target doesn't go down. Moxxie then blows the black powder smoke from the gun, pleased with his marksmanship.
Suddenly, the vendor says, "Strike one, little man!"
"But I hit it!" Moxxie protests.
"Hmmm, I don't know what to tell ya, buddy. The target, see? It didn't go down. So yeah, no go, bro," The carnie says.
Moxxie growls in anger and places another dollar on the table. He grabs the pistol and fires another cork, and that hits the target again, and yet the target won't budge.
"The Heaven's wrong with this thing?!" Moxxie angrily says, and slaps the piston
"Oh man, a real shame, I tell ya," The Carnie says and mockingly cries.
Moxxie hisses in rage and slaps another dollar on the table, "Another!"
Back at the show, Octavia is practically dying of boredom, same with Loona. Stolas, Keena, and Tilla are the only ones actually enjoying it. Blitz and Aurora however, are still having mixed feelings about it.
The robot jester continues to sing and dance, "-sing along with the Loo Loo band! Ev'ry boy, ev'ry girl, ev'ry woman, ev'ry man loves Loo Loo Land!"
The show ends with some technical difficulties with the machines falling apart, and Robotic Fizzarolli is having sparks come out of his neck.
Stolas happily claps as he says, "Oh hohohoho, how delightful!"
Octavia simply pulls her hat down, completely embarrassed.
Loona groans and mutters, "He's gotta be kidding."
Behind the tall Goetia, there's an imp armed with a knife while another has a gun. Before the two imps can react, Zak fires his sniper at one, while Zoey fires at the other with her pistol.
Seeing what happened, Keenan says, "I can see why your dad needed a bodyguard, huh."
"You have no idea," Octavia says.
"Yep. That's what happens when you're a royal," Ash says.
"Sounds frustrating," Aurora says.
Tilla happily claps and says, "Loo Loo. Loo Loo. Loo Loo."
"I can see that Tilla likes it," Loona says.
Octavia giggles, "It's actually cute when she says it."
"Loo Loo. Loo Loo." Tilla happily says as she happily claps her hands to the beat.
Stolas then asks, "So are the kids, having fun?"
"Uh, not really," Octavia answers.
"I'm actually unimpressed," Loona says.
"I'm not sure how I feel about it," Aurora says.
"Honestly, I've gotten over this amusement part a few years ago," Ash says.
"Oh… um, I see…" Stolas says, feeling a bit saddened.
He then turns to Blitz, "What do you think, Blitz?"
But instead of answering his question, Blitz says, "Is that… is that really… Fizzarolli… He looks so… so different now… He's not like the Fizz I knew…"
Hearing the statement, Zak asks, "Say what now?" deeply confused.
"Blitz, are you okay?" Stolas asks, worried.
"You're looking rather pale," Zoey says.
"My family and I were kidnapped… Kidnapped by strange demons… Talking about an experiment… I was sucked into some strange portal… I beg the crystal in my hand to send it back, but… I got badly burned and injured… and left alone in a forest, in the snow… And now… I'll never see my family, my friends, and Stolas again…" Blitz says, in deep sadness and fear.
Soon, tears begin to fall down from his face as the Asmodean Crystal on his chest begins to glow a deep shade of blue. Even his body begins shaking and he wraps his arms around himself and his tail circles around him. Stolas and Octavia are shocked to see the strange glow. Zak, Zoey, Ash, Loona, and even the kids show concern.
"What is that light…" Zoey says, stunned.
"Oh no. I've seen it glow like that, but it's different," Loona says, worried.
"Wait, this happened before?" Octavia asks.
"It actually glowed before we first came to Hell, but it's glowing deep blue," Aurora says, worried.
Blitz mutters to himself, "I wanna go home. I want my mama and papa. I want to go home… Please…" and is shaking in fear and sadness.
Worried for him, Stolas picks Blitz up and wraps his arms around him, trying to comfort him.
"This crystal is really weird," Keenan says.
"But why is it glowing blue?" Aurora asks.
"If I have to guess, they must mean that your father is very distressed," Stolas says.
Tilla asks, worried, "Da da not feeling well?"
"I'm not sure, Tilla," Aurora says, and picks the child up.
Loona then picks up Keena, "Come on, we better get out of here before someone sees him like this."
"Yeah. Let's find the others and get the fuck out of here," Zak says.
Zoey then picks up Ash, "Come on Ash, let's go."
Stolas then picks Blitz and holds him close in his arms, and can feel Blitz shaking in fear and sadness.
"Don't worry, Blitz. I'm right here. You're going to be okay," Stolas says, trying to comfort him.
Octavia watches as Stolas tries to comfort Blitz, but it's not much progress. It worries her to see Blitz suffer like this."
Suddenly, Tilla speaks up, "Via… Aura… Is da da okay?"
Octavia tries to reassure her, "I'm sure he'll be okay. My dad will find a way to help him."
"What's wrong with dad?" Keenan asks.
"I'm not sure, but for now, we need to leave before someone sees him," Loona says.
"You're right. It's already bad when word spreads about him casting magic," Aurora says.
The gang then begins to run across the bleachers and to get to the exit.
But the Robotic Fizzarolli sees them, specifically Zak, "Ha ha ha hoho-oh! Is that Zakie my sensors spot up there? I bet the kiddies are still running away from you, huh?" and laughed.
Zak stops to glare at the clown, "My name is Zak, how about you stay silent about it! And I told you before to stop calling me like that!"
"Aww, just like your audience always was when you to-told your lazy jokes here!" Robotic Fizzarolli says as he dances. Then laughs.
Zak removes his sunglasses and angrily says, "Bitch, I make more money killing people than you do being a cheap-ass robo-ripoff of an overrated sell-out jester!"
"Oohoohoo!" Robotic Fizzarolli says, having his hands on his cheeks.
Then says in remark, "Someone's salty! Real or not though, people love me! Does anybody love you?"
And adds with a deep sinister tone, "ZACHARY!"
Zak angrily says, "Well considering that I have a wife and a kid, I have to say that I'm quite satisfied with my life right now! Besides the point, I have no time to be talking with the likes of you! I have more important things to worry about! So fuck off!"
With that, Zak rushed to follow the others.
The Robotic Fizz snickers, "Really, more important than moi. I'll just go see what Zackie is doing!"
And with that, the Robotic Fizzarolli begins to follow Zak and the others.
Shortly after, everyone hurries outside of the tent and across the park.
"We better hide Blitz until the others show up," Zak says.
Zoey points ahead, "We can hide in there."
The group turns to see the fun house and hurry inside, but unaware that a group of Imps are ready for an ambush. They reach inside the room of eyes, tubes, spikes, mirrors, and more. They slide down the entrance and get on the ground.
Loona sighs, "I think we're safe for the time being."
"But just in case, you, Zoey, and I will stand guard," Zak says and brings out his phone, "I'm gonna call the others. The rest of you watch Blitz."
Stolas then gets on his knees as he lies Blitz down. Octavia and the children sit nearby. Zak removes his jacket, folds it, and places it on the ground for Blitz to lie his head on.
"Are you okay, Blitz?" Stolas asks, concerned.
"I'm okay. I just got scared and tired for a minute there," Blitz says, looking exhausted, drained, and his body still shaking.
"Da da," Tilla says sadly.
Blitz turns to Tilla and smiles, "It's okay sweetie."
"Are you going to be okay, dad?" Keenan asks, worried.
"I'll be fine, Keenan?" Blitz says.
"Are you sure, father? You don't look so good," Aurora says.
Stolas touches his forehead and the mark's glow is fading away, "Hmm, Blitz doesn't seem to be running a fever, and doesn't seem to suffer any physical damages."
"I have some water in my bag," Octavia says, and takes the bottle out of her backpack.
"Thank you, Via," Stolas says.
And sadly sighs, "I'm sorry it turned out like this. And well… I take it you are... not having fun."
"It's okay dad. To be honest, I didn't even want to come here, but I got over it after having fun with Loona and the others," Octavia answers.
"I'm glad to see that you've become good friends with Loona and the children," Stolas says.
"Yeah," Octavia says, and sadly sighs, "Honestly, I haven't felt this happy for a long time. It's been hard for both of us since you and mom divorced."
"Yes. I know, it is not easy for me either," Stolas says.
"I guess it was. At first, I wasn't too happy about it, but when I learned the reason behind your divorce, and your uh, marriage to my mom, I kind of understood," Octavia says.
And sadly sighs, "But it's not easy to deal with it."
Suddenly, the father and daughter hear a jingling sound and look to see Tilla shaking her Fizzarolli toy.
"Via, sad?" Tilla asks, shaking the doll and making the bell rings.
Octavia smiles and pats Tilla on her head, "I was, but… I feel better now. And I'm sure your dad will feel better too."
"Will dad feel better too?" Keenan asks.
"I'm sure he will be alright. It's possible he's going through a memory recall," Stolas says.
"Memory recall?" Keenan asks.
"It is when someone starts to gain a small fragment of the memory. In your father's case, he must have suddenly recalled a fragment of memories. And it appears that Robotic Fizzarolli was the trigger. The doctor suspects that something like this will happen, especially how much Blitz was able to remember at the time," Stolas says.
"I think you're right, dad. Blitz said that Fizzarolli was different now, it's like he's saying he used to know Fizzarolli, but before this," Octavia says.
Zoey sighs, "I think I know. I think Blitz remembered the real Fizzarolli. The one Stolas, Zak, and I used to know. It's possible seeing that robot triggered memories of when he was with the real Fizzarolli."
"Well, I remember you mentioning about you all, including dad used to be friends with him, so it does seem possible, "Loona says.
"It seems to work in theory," Aurora says.
"I think it's true," Ash replies.
"Yes. That theory is highly possible," Stolas says.
"Stolas…" Blitz softly speaks up.
Stolas looks down to Blitz, who is starting to sit up. The crystal on his chest stops glowing as Blitz sits up and feels a bit dizzy.
"Oh Blitz, how are you doing?" Stolas replies, relieved to see Blitz is okay.
"I'm feeling a little better now, but…" Blitz says.
"But…?" Stolas replies.
"That name Fizzarolli, and that robot's face… it's so… so familiar… I don't know, but this name Fizzarolli is… very important to me…" Blitz says.
Stolas hugs Blitz and comforts him, "It's okay, Blitz. I think I know what you mean?"
"Really, dad?" Octavia asks.
"Well, years ago, sometime after Blitz and I met, we started spending more time together. During the time, I got to meet his sister, Zak, Fizz, Zoey, and others at the circus. I even met his parents. His father, Cash Buckzo was the ringmaster of the Imp circus. Blitz, Barbie, Zak, Zoey, Fizz, and of course, Clayton and Lucina, they grew up together, until Blitz disappeared," Stolas explains.
Zak sighs, "And trust me, it was one of the worst things to ever happen to us."
"We were all distraught by it, especially Barbie and her parents," Zoey says.
"Wow. So what happened to Fizz, your other friends, and our dad's family?" Keenan replies.
Zak sighs, "It's hard to explain, believe me. It's not easy to explain."
Suddenly, they hear a familiar robotic laughter, which worries the others.
Followed by a familiar voice, "Well well well, this sure has been an unexpected surprise. I never thought I would see our old childhood friend, Blitzo again. And the real me ends up believing he was dead."
"What the?" Zoey explains, shocked.
Soon, two robotic fists end up punching both Zak and Zoey in the stomachs causing them to fall over in pain.
"Fuck!" Zak shouts in shock.
Soon, the Robotic Fizzarolli comes in. Tilla, Keenan, and Aurora become frightened as Octavia and Stolas help Blitz pull his children towards them. Loona growls in anger from behind her family and is ready to attack if needed.
"I'm sure the real me will be very relieved to see that his bestie is alive and is now a daddy," Robotic Fizz says.
Tilla hugs Blitz, "Da da."
"It's okay, sweetie. It's okay," Blitz says.
Keenan then gets in front of them to defend and shouts, "Leave my dad alone!"
"Oooooh, someone has some spark. Other than the purple hair and blue eyes, you are definitely Blitzo's son. And it's sweet that Blitzo gave his little girl his mother's name, not that I blame him, she has some of his mother's traits," Robotic Fizz says.
Blitz is shocked to hear it, "My… my mother…"
"Uh huh. I can take you to see the real me. I'm sure he'll be very happy to see you…" Robotic Fizz says.
"I… I…" Blitz says and begins to feel the pain in his head again.
"Blitz," Stolas says in concern.
Just then, Zak gets in front of them as he shouts, "You stay away from them, you rip off jester!" And with that, Zak pounces at the Robotic Fizz and they fly out of the fun house.
The pair rolls out and stumbles to the ground.
Zak then brings out his rifle and loads it, "It's a good thing I'm good at guns now."
He points to Robotic Fizzarolli and shouts, "Dance, bitch!"
Then fires at the robot, but Robotic Fizzarolli cartwheels out of the incoming round, and spins across the area as Zak tries to shoot him. Before Zak and perform another attack, the Robotic Fizz coils himself around Zak and launches him into the air.
Zak screams, "Fuck meeeee...!"
"Zak!" Zoey cries out.
"Dad!" Ash cries out.
Outside, an Imp, named Wally Wackford, is walking by with a cart of lighted torches close by, "Torches, I say, I say! Get your inconvenient torches here!"
Then Zak crashes on to the cart, scattering the torches everywhere.
The Imp screams, "Ow- I say, OW!"
With that, one of the torches lands beside one of the tents and the fire spreads very rapidly and begins to set fire to the whole part. The animatronics also begin to burn and melt. Soon, Robotic Fizzarolli is cackling with a demonic grin as he is set on fire as well.
Meanwhile, back at the shooting game, Moxxie has tried another six times, and the target hasn't moved.
The carnie soon mocks Moxxie, "Wow! Man, you're really starting to make this sad. You know, if you suck, you suck! Guess you won't win your honey here a prize."
"Let me try!" Millie says, and grabs the pistol.
She fires the cork at the target, but misses it. The carnie then grins mischievously, and presses a foot pedal under the booth. And the target goes down. Millie claps happily while Moxxie is dumbfounded.
The carnie says, "Oh, look at that! Lucky shot, baby."
Moxxie then yells at the carnie, "Are you kidding me?! You- you- you charlatan!"
The carnie then places his hands on Moxxie's face, "Hey uh, get lost, pipsqueak."
"I'm talkin' to the lady," and pushes Moxxie away as he leans to Millie.
Millie immediately recoils in disgust and the carnie makes a purring sound.
Unknown to them, Zak is still in a fight with Robotic Fizzarolli who tosses him in the air. Then Zak crashes through the ten and into the shooting gallery, and crashes into the carnie. Moxxie and Millie look in the booth and to their surprise, they see Zak on the ground in the stand.
"Zak?!" Moxxie and Millie say, surprised.
Little dazed from the crash, Zak, "Oh, hey guys! You should probably go uh, make sure the others are alright…"
Moxxie and Millie turn their heads to see Robotic Fizzarolli walking towards them as his robotic skin begins to melt.
Zak then brings out his flintlock pistol and says, "I got some... unfinished business to take care of."
Moxxie and Millie then run from the scene, and Moxxie quickly grabs the doll as he hurries away. Zak then draws his pistol and fires it at the robot. Robotic Fizzarolli's head spins around, but stops to reveal he has caught the bullet with his teeth, and spits it out.
"Oh, what a mouth!" Zak comments.
Then Robotic Fizzarolli cartwheels fast and speeds towards Blitz, luckily he dodges out of the way. Then the booth explodes sending flying flaming toys all over the place.
Back in the fun house, Zoey is able to recover from that hard hit in the stomach.
"Are you okay, mom?" Ash asks.
"I'm alright, don't worry," Zoey says.
Aurora helps Ash help his mother up.
Stolas helps Blitz up, who is able to stop the headache and regains himself.
"Are you okay, Blitz? Can you walk?" Stolas asks.
"I think so," Blitz says.
Suddenly, they begin to hear a lot of screaming and panicking outside.
"What's going on?" Loona asks.
Just then, Wesley and Topaz walk in.
"Wesley? Topaz? What are you two doing here?" Loona asks.
"We were going to check out the fun house, but apparently there's a fire going on right now," Wesley says.
"And then we heard your voices and went to go check it out," Topaz says.
"A fire?" Stolas says, worried.
"How did that happen?" Octavia asks.
"I suspect it was Zak," Moxxie's voice says.
The group turns to see Moxxie and Millie reach the entrance.
"There you guys are. We were looking for you," Millie says.
Tilla happily says, "Hi Moxxie. Hi Millie."
"It's a good thing you found us," Zoey says, "Where's Zak?"
Millie slides down the slide and ends up in front of them saying, "He's uh... busy."
"Being a fool," Moxxie says, following behind her and giving Millie the 'Thing'.
Which she is happy to see that hears appear in her eyes.
"What kind of fool?" Stolas asks.
"The 'everything is now on fire' kind," Moxxie answers as Millie snuggles the doll.
Zoey and Stolas facepalm their faces in response.
Unknown to them an Imp has been secretly hiding above the ceiling, and jumps down with a knife. Before the Imp can attack, Stolas stops and turns his head around as he opens his eyes wide, petrifying the Imp into stone.
"Woah. Nice save dad," Octavia says.
"Learning how to cast spells comes in handy," Stolas says.
"Let's focus on getting out of here," Wesley says.
Everyone then rushes outside of the funhouse to see the Green Fire going on.
There they see Zak keep trying to shoot the robotic Fizzarolli as the robot cartwheels across the area.
"Zak, come on we gotta go!" Wesley says.
"Not until I teach this stupid robot a lesson!" Zak says, and continues firing.
The Robotic Fizz gets in front of Zak, "Hey Zackie."
Zak fires, but the robot dodges.
Then appears behind him, "You miss me."
Then Zak swings his rifle, but misses.
Then the robot appears on the side, "Miss me again."
Suddenly, multiple green coins with lightning sparks fly out and hit the Robotic Fizzarolli on the back. The robot short circuits and electrocutes until it explodes into pieces. Zak looks to see Blitz with his scepter and is holding one of the green coins with lightning sparks on it. Indicating that Blitz is the one who has thrown them.
"Damn Blitz, that's some crazy magic," Zak says, impressed.
"Yeah. I was raised by a medical mage who was also a ninja in the past 25 years," Blitz says. "Of course, this magic actually came from the crystal. It creates coins and electrocutes anything that comes into contact with it."
"That's a neat trick. I call it Coinage Thunderbolts!" Zak says and laughs.
"We better get out of here before we get burned in the park as well," Topaz says.
Everyone then hurries out and soon gets out through the entrance as Loo Loo Land is burning green fire.
When they walk out of the park, Stolas asks, "So, what would you like to do now?"
"Oh, can we go to Stylish Occult? They sell weird taxidermy there," Octavia says.
"Hmmm. Okay..." Stolas says, reluctantly.
Octavia chuckles with a smile and says, "Thanks, dad. You're okay sometimes."
"Thank you, Via. Thank you..." Stolas says.
Then the two hug each other with smiles on their faces.
"Alright, enough with the mushy stuff. Let's get out of here before anything else happens," Zak says.
But Blitz says, "Hold on, let me take care of this first."
And with that, Blitz concentrates his magic and creates a bright blue ball. Everyone watches in awe to see the ball Blitz is creating in front of him. Then it shows large signs of water within the ball. Once the ball is filled, Blitz uses his telekinesis to lift the ball filled with water into the air and over Loo Loo Land.
Soon, Blitz slaps both the palms with his hands together, causing the ball to pop and water begins showing down on Loo Loo Land like rain. And soon enough, the watery rain showers down and the fire around Loo Loo Land begins to go out from the water.
Inside Loo Loo Land, the panic dies down as they feel the watery rain and the fire goes out all over Loo Loo Land. Soon, the fire is no longer igniting and has been distinguished completely. Of course, everyone is astonished to see the rain coming down and is putting out the fire.
Blitz takes deep breaths and collapses on his knees.
Stolas rushes to Blitz, "Are you okay, Blitz?"
"I'm fine, just a bit drained. Sometimes mages get a little weakened while using a lot of small magic, or in my case, use a large amount of magic. Sometimes the magic drained our stamina," Blitz says.
"But why would you do that? You know, put the fire out in Loo Loo Land?" Wesley asks.
"Well, I couldn't just stand there, especially when there are families and children in there," Blitz says.
Zak sighs, "Even after so much has passed, you are still a softie."
"It just shows despite his childhood antics and what happened, he still has a big heart," Zoey says.
"I find it very noble," Stolas says. And snuggles Blitz, "And it was surely a brave act you've performed."
"I suppose you're right. Blitz technically saved my ass from that slutty toy clown," Zak says.
"Blitz technically saved you from the mess you've caused, and fixed up part of your mess," Moxxie says.
"It was so worth it. That slutty toy clown had it comin," Zak says.
"Enough to get us all into trouble," Wesley says, annoyed.
"Uh what kind of trouble?" Zak asks.
Then Topaz swings her fist towards Zak, "Saving your ass trouble!"
Zak dodges the attack. Zak tries to swing back, but Topaz dodges. Then the two begin arguing.
"Perhaps it would be best to head back to the Pride ring, to do some shopping and then we can all head home," Stolas says.
Moments later, everyone is in the company van and are heading back to the Pride Ring. Some of them are asleep after the long day they have, including the Loona, Octavia, and the little ones. Even Blitz has fallen asleep after the day he have. Stolas rubs his hand against Blitz's head for comfort and is glad to see that his daughter, his first friend, and children are safe. And still, he has a lot to learn about Blitz and his abilities.
