In an old farmhouse some distance outside of the town, an elderly lady was busy cleaning the living room of the old house as a pink furred beagle busied himself with the dusting as well.

The only other occupant of the house, an old man, sat in an arm chair and was casually flipping the channels on the TV. Hardly anything was on and most of the time he had to adjust the volume on the set as the roar of his wife's vacuum constantly drowned out the noise from the TV.

Finally he set down the remote and said, "Muriel, turn down that racket."

His wife, Muriel, shut off the vacuum and said, "Sorry Eustace, but I need to get the house clean. We have family coming over soon."

Eustace grumbled and said, "Big deal."

"Now Eustace, you know how long it's been since we've had family here that didn't involve your mother. Please try to be nice to him while he's here," Muriel tried to scold her husband.

Eustace merely crossed his arms and said, "Blah blah blah!"

Muriel shook her head as the little beagle let out a little whine.

Muriel merely patted the little dog on head and said, "Now Courage, there's no reason to be afraid. You'll like meeting Shaggy. It's been so long since we've seen him and I'm sure he'll love meeting you."

"Yeah, right," Courage howled a little to himself, he really didn't like when people he didn't know will come over, as he always had worst case scenarios about them. Unlike most dogs Courage had the ability to walk like a human and manipulate objects with his paws Despite his name, he had been a cowardly dog all of his life and was easily scared by anything, even the smallest mouse.

When Courage was a puppy, Muriel was the one who found him one day when he was abandoned in an old alleyway and named him Courage because she thought he was so brave for being in that alleyway by himself. Courage was deeply indebted to Muriel, he was always grateful to her since then. But ever since he lived in Nowhere for almost of his life, it was filled with other supernatural beings or other weird unexplained things that happened to his home. Muriel was almost most of the time oblivious to the danger, so Courage dedicated his life to never let anything bad happening to her beloved owner.

In his distraction, he had inadvertently dusted Eustace in the face, making the old man cry out. Courage looked up at the farmer's agitated face and he grimaced and chills ran down his spine.

"Stupid dog!" the farmer growled out and reached into his back pocket.

Courage knew what was coming, but before he could do anything about it, out came the green tribal faced mask that Courage knew all too well.

Eustace popped it on his face, waved his arms and hollered out, "Ooga booga booga!"

Next thing he knew, Courage was screaming and running out of the room as Eustace laughed at the little beagle's misfortune! He wasn't laughing for long however, as a rolling pin struck him on the back of his head, courtesy of his wife.

"OW! What did I do?"

Courage took deep breaths to calm himself down and was grateful for his owner's defense for him. Although he loved Muriel very much, he had a complicated relationship with Eustace, Muriel's husband. Unlike Muriel who's always been gentle and sweet towards him, Eustace is the exact opposite. Eustace is very cold, cruel and nasty to Courage. Courage always tries to avoid him at all cost, and it didn't help matters, that he always bullied him, torture him, lowering his self-esteem and the worst part of all of it is, he never misses an opportunity to scare him with that UGLY MASK.

But since he is Muriel's husband and she loves him for whatever reason Courage has to put up with it. But at least in someway, he's gotten use to Eustace's cruelty. He now stared at the front door nervously. What's gonna happen when Muriel's nephew get's here? He asked himself, his stomach churning as he thought about Muriel's nephew coming to spend the summer with them. What if he's cruel and horrible like the farmer?

"Nowhere, Kansas next stop! Nowhere, Kansas next stop!" shouted the driver of a dusty old bus.

Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers looked out of the window, and saw some little stores in the little town.

A large Great Dane hung his head out the passenger side window, panting heavily, a goofy grin plastered across his face.

Shaggy and Scooby gasped in awe of the restaurants they had in Nowhere.

"Like, wow Scoob!" Shaggy exclaimed, "Look at all the restaurants here!"

"Reah," Scooby added.

Shaggy's parents thought their son, could use a break from mystery solving with his friends for the summer. They decided to send him, along with Scooby for company to spend Nowhere Kansas with his great aunt and great uncle Muriel and Eustace Bagge.

Fred Jones, Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley, from Coolsville California, had send their friend with some presents and a party before he goes away for awhile. They said they'll miss him and Scooby, but will see them again in the fall.

Some time passed and before too long, Shaggy and Scooby saw a farmhouse in their window.

"Well, here we are Scoob," Shaggy told his best friend.

"Rhoa, a farmhouse," Scooby awed.

Shaggy and Scooby had been best friends ever since Shaggy met him at the beach, when they're little.

As soon as the bus doors slid open, Shaggy and Scooby stood up from their seats, Shaggy made sure to grab his bags from the seat.

The two best friends stepped off of the bus and out into the warm sunlight of the farm, and the bus drove away from the farm.

Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other, and looked at the farm.

"Come on Scoob," Shaggy told the Great Dane, as he and Scooby approached the door.

In the farmhouse, there was a knock at the door.

"Oh, that must be him," Muriel said as she came into the living room heading for the front door.

Courage went behind Eustace's big red chair to be able to get a good look and/or protection from whoever was behind it. He could swear he was hearing his heartbeat speed up loudly in his ears. His heart started to pound faster and faster. He tried to convince himself that something behind that door would get him and eat him up for dinner.

Muriel opened the door, "Shaggy! Oh, my dear Shaggy! It's so great to see you!"

Squeezed by Muriel's strong hug, Shaggy returned his aunt's hug.

Shaggy smiled at his aunt, "It's great to see you too."

"Rello," Scooby waved, to the old woman.

"Oh my, who is this?" Muriel asked, as she looked at the goofy Great Dane.

"That's my best buddy, Scooby-Doo," Shaggy said, as he pointed to his dog.

"Rice to meet you," Scooby said, looking at Shaggy's aunt.

"Oh my, I wasn't expecting you to have a dog...but the more the merrier!" Muriel exclaimed, she simply loved having company. "Why don't you both come in?"

She moved to the side, revealing the guest. Courage blinked as all of his wild imagination's conjurings disappeared from his mind at the sight of Shaggy and Scooby. They both didn't look like much of bullies or evil beings, but what if all part of the act? Courage stay hidden as he slowly walked up the stairs.

"Like, thanks Aunt Muriel," Shaggy said, carrying with him a suitcase. Once a few feet inside, the teenager sat his suitcase down, Scooby momentarily to shut the door behind him before picking it back up.

"My, you've grown so much, dear. I'm sure your mother told you who we are, but I'll introduce us just the same. I'm your great-aunt Muriel, but you can just call me Aunt Muriel. This is my husband, Eustace," Muriel said before turning to Eustace, "Eustace, this is Shaggy and his dog Scooby."

"Hi Uncle dude," Shaggy introduced himself.

Looking up from his newspaper, Eustace turned to see Shaggy and Scooby standing in the doorway. The elderly man gazed at his nephew and his dog with a piercing glare as his nephew and Scooby looked at him with uneasiness. After a moment of silence, Eustace groans in annoyance as he goes back to reading his newspaper.

Hearing a few steps from the stairs, Scooby and Shaggy looked up to see the small dog gazing down at them nervously, his eyes wide with anxiety.

Courage's stomach began to churn even harder and he tightened all his muscles to stop himself from trembling. I don't want to meet them right now! What if they torture me all summer!? he thought, struggling not to panic.

"Like, who's the little pink guy, Aunt Muriel?" Shaggy asked, turning to his aunt.

Muriel answered, "This is the family dog, Courage. I found him as a wee little pup in an alley in town a few years back. He's been living with us ever since." Calling to her dog, she exclaimed, "Courage! Come down and say hello to Shaggy and Scooby!"

With the two best friends gazing back at the dog, Courage yelped out of nervousness and ran back upstairs.

"Rhat did we just do?" Scooby asked.

Confused, Shaggy asked, "Is he always like this?"

Muriel answered, "Most of the time… He's very shy around visitors."

"Raww….poor little guy," Scooby lamented.

Muriel went on to say as she helped Shaggy carry one of his bags, "Well then, I'll show you to your room."

The two followed Muriel up that stairs, past a couple of doors and up another small stairs that led to a door at the top. Going upstairs, Muriel opened the door for Shaggy and Scooby to see a that overlooked the entire farm. Inside the room there was a bed big enough for Shaggy, a wardrobe for his clothes and a computer sitting in the opposite corner of the room.

Who would be using a computer in this house?

The only issue was the heat, which was to be expected in a house this old. There was air conditioning, but it took time for it to cool down the room.

"Here we are, If there's anything else you need, don't be afraid to ask dears," Muriel said.

"Thanks Aunt Muriel," Shaggy replied, with a nod.

"Reah, thanks," Scooby added, with a grin.

Muriel nodded in response and as she closed the door.

Shaggy took off his backpack and opened it to reveal he had brought a box of Scooby Snacks for the trip.

"Well what to you say Scoob, a good yummy snack after a long day of travel," Shaggy asked his best friend with enthusiasm.

"Reah!" Scooby exclaimed, with a grin and anticipation.

It was a late afternoon asCourage digging a hole beside a old water pump, "I know it's here some where, it's gotta be here!" The little pink beagle after a little hesitation went outside, to calm himself down after his near anxiety attack at the thought of Muriel's nephew and his dog being here all summer. He figured he spend a little time for himself to keep his mind occupied.

"YAY! I knew it was here!" he shouted with joy when he popped back out with his toy plunger gun. "Huh?" he asked, as he discovered a shiny golden locket with a picture of a woman's face who looked like someone out of the nineteenth century, as he then grasped it by the chain to get a better look at it.

"Cariana?" Courage asked, as he thought to himself. Hmm….maybe the computer knows. The pink beagle got out of the hole with a grin on his face, before walking to the farmhouse.

Unaware of the fog and ghostly voice coming from the hole that Courage dug.

Courage went inside the living room, with Muriel who was was on the other side of the room dusting. Though, right now she was trying to reach a picture that was on the top of the shelf that was just out of reach for her.

"I got it Muriel!" Courage rushed through and used his gun to get the picture down for Muriel.

"You're quite the gentleman Courage," Muriel smiled warmly.

"Your welcome Muriel," Courage responded, with a timid smile.

Courage moved closer to look at the picture. It was a picture of Courage and Muriel together.

Muriel said before giving a light dusting to the picture and putting it down on the shelf where she can easily reach it.

"And I brought this for you," Courage said with a big grin, giving Muriel the amulet.

"Oh, isn't that lovely," Muriel said as she put it on.

"You found it on my property dog, it's mine," Eustace greedily declared as he got up and roughly swiped it from Muriel and he lifted Courage by the ears and walked up to my the attic where Shaggy and Scooby are staying.

"Oh, my," Muriel said with worry at how Eustace was treating Courage again.

That night, Shaggy and Scooby were both on the bed reading a Blue Falcon comic book when Eustace barged in the room startling Shaggy and Scooby.

"Like, can you knock next time please?" Shaggy asked, his heart was still pounding by Eustace's loud stomps.

"Aw grow a spine Shaggy-haired-fella!" Eustace scoffed.

Courage looked down to the ground, his nerves prickled with anxiety.

Shaggy and Scooby noticed how Courage was quiet, looking tense and unhappy.

"Like, is the little pink dude okay?" Shaggy asked with worry.

Eustace glaring at Courage replied, "Oh he's just a stupid dog, afraid of everything."

Courage flinched and dropped his eyes to the ground.

Shaggy and Scooby saw how Courage looked dejected, and felt pangs of sympathy for the little beagle. Before either of them could reply Eustace demanded impatiently, "Stupid dog! Search up about that necklace now!"

Courage immediately sprinted to the computer and begin typing away trying to find any information about the amulet, as Eustace, Shaggy and Scooby stood by.

Scooby looked at Courage and saw how terrified he was. Row, he seems to be easily scared even more than by and Raggy. Roor little guy.

After ten minutes, and a few mismatches, Courage finally found it.

"The Cariana. A love locket. A medieval antique. Very valuable," the computer said sounding surprised at what he gathered.

"Wow, like I never seen a dog use a computer before," Shaggy whispered to Scooby.

"Reah, and I'm a dog," Scooby marveled, he was amazed. He had never seen a dog typing on the computer before.

"WAHOO! I'm selling it," Eustace cheered before greedily rubbing his hands together.

But the computer was not done with its information as the symbol of the Department of Curses from the Federal Bureau of Blah came on screen. "But be warned. A curse will befall anyone who removes the necklace."

"A curse!?/RA curse!?" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage asked nervously in unison.

"It will separate two departed lovers in the grave. Unless the necklace is returned, the guilty will be separated from their loved ones forever," the computer warned.

Courage gasped in fright, he was already was thinking about Muriel, as he begin to imagine Muriel vanishing right before his eyes. His eyes were moistening as sadness filled his mind and heart.

Scooby and Shaggy clutched each other tightly and looked at one another with burdened eyes.

"RI don't want to be separated from my Raggy!" Scooby cried in desperation, with his lip quivering.

Shaggy looked up in alarm, seeing Scooby's desperate behavior made him even more frightened and sad, "And I don't wanna be my old pal to be taken away!"

Courage sat and stared intensely at Shaggy and Scooby, even though he didn't trust them, he couldn't help but feel a pitch of sympathy for them. Being separated from a love one was a heartbreaking thing to go through.

"Like Uncle Eustace, I'm not sure about this," Shaggy cautioned his uncle, not wanting to lose his family over this curse.

"Who cares? You shouldn't even believe stuff that's on the internet. Now where was I? Oh yes, I'm gonna be rich filthy rich!" Eustace protested and cheered as he took out the amulet with his eyes glowing the color gold. "I'll find new loved ones!" he then closed the door but came back a moment later to laugh and mock some more.

Shock swept through Scooby and Shaggy and they both turned to Courage in confusion.

"Ris he always like this?" Scooby questioned incredulously.

Courage sighed with deep seriousness, "Unfortunately yes, I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this necklace or my name is King Arthur and it's not."

Curious and concerned, the trio walked over to the window and looked outside. Courage swallowed hard against the sick feeling in his stomach.

Shaggy,Scooby and Courage all saw a GIANT FOG cover the land and seemed to coming for them, And what scared them even more was that as it approached Eustace's truck, a head and tow arms seemed to have materialized from the fog.

"CARIANA!" the fog head said as it approached them.

"Zoinks!" Shaggy screamed, as his hair spiked up.

"Rikes!" Scooby he screamed in sudden fear.

Courage gasped in terror and his eyes enlarge and come off him and hit the floor.

Shaggy quivered as he said fearfully, "Like that's a deep fog."

Scooby overcome with terror jumped into Shaggy's arms.

"Re got to get Rustace!" Scooby exclaimed, as he was ready to dash outside.

"Wait you both stay here, I'll go," Courage said to the cowardly duo. He could not let the two of Muriel's family members risk their lives.

"But like, we wanna help," Shaggy insisted.

Courage wasn't hearing any of it, "I appreciate the offer, but I really rather do this on my own."

But before Shaggy or Scooby could reply, Courage was already rushing out the door.

"Like, why wouldn't the pink little dude let us help him?" Shaggy asked Scooby, clearly confused.

"RI don't know Raggy," Scooby replied, with a shrugged. He was just as clueless.

Hearing some honking, Courage turned back and saw it come from Eustace.

"GET OFF MY PROPERTY!" Courage heard Eustace yell.

"CARIANA!" the ghost called out again.

Courage watched horrified, as the ghost approached Eustace's truck.

Courage broke off into a run and pulled Eustace out of the truck through the open window, before carrying him back inside just as the face that lead the large cloud of fog goes right through the vehicle, on his way back into the farmhouse.

"You stupid dog! What the heck did you do that for!" Eustace scolded.

Shaggy couldn't stop himself from blurting out, "Like, hey he saved your life Uncle Eustace, that thing out there almost swallowed you, like a Scooby Snack!"

"Reah," Scooby agreed, with his arms folded and sickened by Eustace's greed.

Courage in his usual gibberish tries to warn the family of the danger they're in, as he takes the form of the locket with an arrow on the side before morphing into the fog monster. "RETURN!"

Scooby stared at Eustace, "Rhere's something out there that's coming toward the farm, and it wants the locket Rourage found, we got to give it back!"

"Over my dead body!" Eustace greedily declared while upside down on his chair.

"Oh, my, it reminds me of the highlands as a wee girl," Muriel said as she looked out the window and saw the dense fog.

"Like, I hope the highlands aren't always like this," Shaggy whimpered, cowering behind Scooby.

"Re neither," Scooby agreed, shudder.

Then, the family heard a knock on the door.

"We don't want any!" Eustace yelled out.

"Aunt Muriel! Don't! That spooky fog wants to eat us!" Shaggy tried to warn his aunt about how dangerous this fog really was.

"Rand separate us!" Scooby added, his eyes widened when Muriel is about to touch the doorknob.

"Don't open it!" Courage begged, he rapidly shook his head to make Muriel step away from the door.

"But what if someone needs our help?" Muriel countered as she neared the door.

"CARIANA!" the family heard the ghost call out again.

"Aunt Muriel! No!" Shaggy screamed but it was too late.

"Yes?" Muriel asked as she opened the door, but as soon as she did so, the fog came rushing in and covered Muriel.

Courage pulled off his ears and deflated like a balloon, the fog covered the entire room in fog until it was impossible to see anything.

"CARIANA!" the ghost called out again.

Eustace yelled out in panic as he raced up the stairs.

Courage looked around at the now foggy living room, one moment he was in the living room with his family, the next thing he realized that he was alone. COMPLETELY ALONE.

"MURIEL!" Courage yelled out as he began to look around.

"Courage," the cowardly pink beagle heard and saw the black outline of Muriel come closer to him.

"Muriel!" Courage cheered happily.

"CARIANA!" the ghost called out as its face lunged at Courage to reveal that it played a trick on him with the outlines of Muriel.

This caused Courage to scream, as fear coursed through his veins, while his lower jaw began to run before the rest of his body followed.

But due to the fog limiting his visibility, Courage ran straight into Scooby and the shelf from earlier.

"Rourage, are you okay?" Scooby asked in concerned, even though he only met him today.

Courage lowered his gaze, "Um yeah," he replied awkwardly before looking at his picture of all of him and Muriel fell down. "Hey, my picture."

It brought a smile to Courage and Scooby's faces but that changed to worry as the fog engulfed it and took it away. As part of the curse.

"NO!" Courage cried out, in horror. Feeling panicked that he may never seen his beloved owner again.

Scooby didn't know what to say, so he just put an arm around the pink beagle, which surprisingly Courage let allowed.

"BOYS!" Muriel called out from somewhere.

"Ruriel? Rhere could she be?" Scooby asked as Courage used his ear like a submarine telescope to find where the voice is coming from.

"Dudes, if you can hear me follow the sound of my voice!" Shaggy's voice cried in the fog.

Raggy! Scooby's heart lurched.

"BOYS!" the two dogs heard her scream again.

"Sounds like they're coming from the roof!" Courage told the Great Dane before racing up the steps with Scooby following him.

When they reach the top of the second floor, they found Shaggy.

"Raggy!" Scooby joyfully barked, as he leapt off the ground and jumped onto his owner, and licking his face.

"Easy, Scoob, easy, I'm glad you're okay too," Shaggy laughed as Scooby continued to coat his face in slobbery licks.

Courage looked at the two in surprise, they didn't sound they're mean or cruel, like the ones he encountered before, besides Muriel of course. Courage felt horrible for the way he judged the duo and didn't even give them a chance.

"Like dude, if we don't get that necklace back soon, we're next," Shaggy said, his stomach knotting up.

"Rut where is it?" Scooby asked in alarm.

And right then they hear the sound of giggling from the attic.

Courage frowned, as he looked up the stairs, "I think I already know."

The trio made their way upstairs to the third floor. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage tried to open it but found it locked.

"It's locked!" Courage exclaimed with dread.

"UNCLE EUSTACE!" Shaggy shouted, pounding hard on the locked closet door.

"RET US IN!" Scooby cried worriedly joined in.

"CARIANA!" the ghost called out as it came closer to the frightened trio.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage screamed in horror before Courage literally eating part of the door like a beaver for all of them to enter and escape the fog ghost, but got weirded out when the three saw Eustace modeling himself in front of the mirror with the amulet.

"Can a man be alone with his jewelry?" Eustace bitterly asked.

"Angry old uncle, you gotta return that amulet man!" Shaggy begged frantically, hoping his uncle would listen, now that they're all in danger.

But to his dismay, Eustace commented, "Who cares? Once I'm rich I can afford an even better house, and pay someone to get rid of that thing once I sell this baby."

Now in disbelief at what the old man is saying, Shaggy approached to him with Scooby and Courage asked jerkily, "Like, you didn't hear a single thing I said did you!?"

"CARIANA!" the ghost called out as it entered the room.

"Courage? Eustace? Shaggy? Scooby? Where are you lads?" the three heard Muriel call out to them.

"She's on the roof!" Courage cried as he, Shaggy and Scooby moved to the window and opened it to get to the roof.

Climbing out the window, the trio grabbed onto the ledge of the roof and looked around but saw nothing but fog.

"AUNT MURIEL!/RURIEL!/MURIEL!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage exclaimed in unison.

Knowing the three need a better look, they all fully climbed onto the roof, the cowardly trio suddenly heard Eustace yell before getting pushed to the side as he came rushing onto the roof as well.

"CARIANA!" the ghost called out once again as it appeared to them.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all whimpered fearfully, as they all huddled together.

"MAKE ME AN OFFER!" Eustace demanded the ghost.

This, of course, infuriated the ghost as it released and extremely thick fog from its mouth. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage clutched tightly to each other to make sure not one of them got slip away.

"This is it Scoob!" Shaggy cried, as he clutched tighter to his best friend. "We're goners!"

Shaggy and Scooby wrapped each other tighter and began to whimper.

"FINDER'S KEEPRS!" Eustace shouted as the fog turned into what seemed like a tornado with giant hands swiping at them to get the amulet.

"MURIEL!" Courage screamed in horror. "MURIEL!"

Courage looked over the terrified Shaggy and Scooby, who were both still clutching each other tightly. Seeing how utterly scared they were, it gave Courage the sudden courage and determination he never felt before. The little beagle chewed the roof around Eustace to make him fall back into the house.

"The things I do for love!" Courage said, well it didn't exactly pertain to Shaggy and Scooby but it still felt like the proper thing to say. He managed to grab the amulet before it fell down with Eustace.

"CARIANA!" the ghost said again angrily.

Then as Shaggy and Scooby notice this, Courage threw the amulet into the ghost mouth which seemed to appease it.

"YOU STUPID DOG!" Eustace shouted as he climbed back up through the hole he fell through.

"CARIANA!" the ghost dreamily called out as it went back to where Courage first found the amulet, taking all the fog with it as well.

"GIVE BACK MY NECKLACE!" Eustace demanded as he chased the ghost and jumped into the fog before it disappeared.

Shaggy and Scooby's jaws dropped, unable to believe of what of crazy old farmer just did.

"Like, did he just jumped into that crazy fog, for a necklace?" Shaggy frowned, really flabbergasted of what his uncle just did. He thought, And here I thought the bad guys me and the gang unmasked were greedy.

"Rep," Scooby pointed out with a nod, as he also could not believe this.

"We should probably find Muriel now," Courage replied as the fog began to fully disappear.

"THIS IS NOT AT ALL LIKE THE HIGH LANDS!" the trio heard Muriel shout behind them. "BOYS!"

"MURIEL!" Courage cried out in horror as he took out his toy plunger gun and aimed it at Muriel.

Muriel fell over, but thanks to the toy gun, she only dangled for a moment before being pulled back up.

"Good boy Courage," Muriel said, as she patted her dog, before taking out the plunger out of her rear end. "Cheeky."

Shaggy and Scooby couldn't help, but giggle at that. Courage hugged his owner, who hugged him back.

Later that night, Courage was standing by the doorway he stifled a sigh. He had something to say to get off of his chest. He knock at the door.

"Like, come in," Shaggy's voice muffled through the door said.

Courage nervously opened the door and entered the attic, he saw that Shaggy was in his green pajamas and has a green and purple night cap on. They're getting ready to go to bed,

"Like, what's up little pink dude?" Shaggy asked.

Courage hesitated for a brief second, then told them, "I'm sorry... for what I did when I met you guys."

"Like, little pink dude, why are you sorry?" Shaggy asked.

"Well..." the cowardly beagle mumbled. "I... I thought you guys were bad news and you're both going to hurt me or Muriel."

Now realizing why Courage was scared of of them earlier, Scooby said sympathetically, "Roh, that's why you're shy around us earlier today."

"Yeah..." Courage sighed, "I've seen some scary and horrible things. I couldn't help myself when you guys showed up. I know my name's Courage, but I'm more of a cowardly dog then a brave dog." Courage shook his head, with his tail drooped behind.

Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other, pondered all that Courage said. and both smiled in understanding.

"It's okay little pink dude, me and Scooby know how you feel," Shaggy said, encouragingly.

"You do?" Courage asked, looking up at Shaggy.

"Reah, we're cowards ourselves," Scooby replied, giving a solid nod of affirmation to Courage.

"But, what you did what very brave and like, you save us from almost being fog chow," Shaggy added, trying to lift the little pink beagle's spirits.

"Really?" Courage smiled. Not only they easily forgave him, but they thought he was brave too. Perhaps he can get to know them a little better during their stay for the summer and maybe gain some new friends.

"Like, totally little Courage guy," Shaggy said smiling at Courage, as he petted the little beagle on the head.

"Ro what do you say Rourage? Riends?" Scooby smiled reaching a paw to Courage.

Courage nodded, grabbed Scooby's paw and replied, "Friends," he shook Scooby's paw and Shaggy's hand. "And to start over, I'm Courage."

"I'm Norville, but everyone calls me Shaggy," Shaggy said.

"RI'm Scooby, nice to meet you Rourage," Scooby introduced.

"No, it's Courage," Courage stated.

"Rhat's what I said, Rourage," Scooby responded, with a shrug.

Shaggy giggled as he spoke, "Like, little pink guy, it's how Scooby says with names."

Courage smiled and he somehow feel relieved, he had two new friends who helped him today, Shaggy and Scooby, maybe this summer wouldn't be so bad after all.

It was the next day and everything was repaired. The family, expect Eustace were sitting on the porch as it was another beautiful day. Muriel was sitting in her chair with Courage in her lap while Shaggy sat on the porch with Scooby, eating snacks.

"I wonder what happened to Eustace?" Muriel asked suddenly.

At this, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all looked to where the hole still was and could swear, the three heard Eustace laughing greedily before hearing the ghost call out it's lover's name again.

"Like, after all that and Uncle Eustace hasn't learned his lesson?" Shaggy frowned, as he couldn't believe his uncle was that greedy.

"Rhat is wrong with that man?" Scooby agreed, looking at the hole where Eustace dug in disbelief.

Courage sighed in exasperation, as he shook his head, "Meet the farmer."

Muriel Meets her Match Summary: A pair of married criminals are on the run and they camp next to the farmhouse, with one of them eventually assuming Muriel's identity, which leads to Muriel being framed and arrested. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage must clear Muriel's name.
