It was midnight in the kitchen, Shaggy and Scooby both had triple deck sandwiches, with Courage watching across from the table. Courage was struggling to keep his eyes open and his head up.
"Guys, are really hungry at this time of the night?" Courage asked, failing to strife a huge yawn.
"Like, little pink dude, it is never a wrong time to have a midnight snack," Shaggy stated, gulping his sandwich down in one bite.
"Reah," Scooby added, with a chuckle, as he also chewed a big bite of the delicious sandwich.
Courage only rolled his eyes playfully, he should of known those two would eat at anytime, even at midnight.
Suddenly there was a siren passing by the farmhouse, "Hmm?" Courage asked, rubbing his eyes.
He, Shaggy and Scooby went to the window were looking out of the house as the sirens of the passing police car fade into the distance.
"Huh, is it me or did a police car just drove past our farmhouse?" Courage wondered, head cocked to the side.
While Scooby was looking out the window, he asked his friends, "RI wonder what kind of lowdown criminal the cops are pursuing this time?"
"Like, you got me, dudes. Besides, it's probably none of our business anyways," Shaggy shrugged, with a yawn.
"Reah, you're probably right, Raggy. Rome on, let's go back to sleep,"Scooby reassured, as he started trotting upstairs with Shaggy following behind.
But Courage looked out of the window for a moment, thinking about what the cops are after.
"Roming, Rourage?" Scooby called back to Courage.
"Uh... yeah, I'll be with you guys in a moment," Courage responded, not taking his eyes off the window.
Courage's eyes narrowed, something wasn't right. Despite that he felt uneasy, Courage knew that there nothing he could do about. So with one last look at the window, the cowardly pink beagle turned and walked away to catch up to his best friends.
The next morning, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage went downstairs for breakfast, this morning Muriel was making blueberry pancakes for breakfast.
"Breakfast is ready, boys. I made your favorite, scrambled eggs and bacon. Would any of you like some milk to go along with that?" Muriel asked, as she put three each of the plates of eggs and bacon.
"That sure would be nice, Aunt Muriel. Say, did you hear the loud noises of that police car last night?" Shaggy asked, as he Scooby and Courage sat on the chairs of the kitchen table.
"Oh! Well, not that I know of at that moment. Goodness me, I must've been a heavy sleeper than I thought," Muriel replied, as she went outside and grabbed the bottle of milk that was outside and delivered this morning.
Scooby spoke up, while eating his bacon, "Rhoever those cops were chasing last night must've done something really illegal."
"I'll bet, the only question remains is... what exactly?" Courage asked his brow wrinkled, he picked up his fork and took a bite of the scrambled eggs.
"In great big diamond news, the Grandmother Diamond exhibit at the Nowhere Museum is attracting teeming hordes of tourists and jewel thieves-" the trio heard the TV from the living room, that was suddenly cut off.
"What's huh?! Dang blasted TV, d'oh!" Eustace complained, while throwing a tantrum.
Shaggy quirked an eyebrow before saying, "Like, the only thing that ever worries Uncle Eustace is the TV going out in the living room."
Courage's eyes widened, "Wait a minute, didn't that newsman mention something about a diamond?" Courage asked with alarm, as he thought about what he, and his best friends saw last night, and his stomach begin to fill with panic, "Do you guys think that's what those unknown lawbreakers did to make the police go after them? Do we have wanted jewel thieves lurking around in the middle of Nowhere?!"
Shaggy and Scooby both look at one another with alarm, but before either Shaggy or Scooby could reply, the doorbell rang. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage saw Muriel answer the door and and was talking to a lady that bore a slight resemblance to her.
"Hello, new neighbors," the lady said.
"Uh... hello, can we help you?" Shaggy asked skeptically, there was only one house where he and his family lived and their no other houses from miles around.
Courage, growled at her, waiting for any signs of this 'neighbor's' to come harm his family, he already didn't trust her.
"As a matter of fact, you can. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Maria, my husband and I had car trouble and we moved in-in your backyard until we get it fixed," Maria explained.
"Oh, my!" Muriel gasped. "Why don't you both come in for some tea?"
"I would love to, but my husband Manuel is very shy," Maria answered while pointing to her mobile home.
Looking past her, the family saw a figure waving to them from their mobile home window.
"Ro kidding, we would be to when it comes to meeting new people," Scooby lamented shaking his head, feeling sorry for the man in the trailer.
"Poor dear," Muriel said before moving to the side and allowing Maria into the house.
Courage stared at the mobile home suspiciously, "I don't know why, but I have a feeling that these two aren't exactly the neighborly type," he said skeptically.
Shaggy frowned and replied, "What do you mean, little pink dude?"
Courage looked at his best friends square in the eye with a deep seriousness, "Shaggy, Scooby, don't you two find it odd that there's a married couple living in our backyard all of a sudden?" he said sternly. "Think about it, there was a police car passing by our house last night. What if this Maria lady and her husband over there must be the crooks those cops were after?"
"Well, we'll admit it is kinda strange for somebody to stop at our home during the middle of a jewel heist and all that, but they don't really look like the type of people who would commit a crime or anything," Shaggy pointed out, trying to bring some sense into things.
"Reah, I mean, just look at Rano over there. Re looks fine to me," Scooby said, pointing at the trailer.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage looked back to the mobile home, only to see that the figure they saw was just cardboard shaped like a person standing up. But what caught the trio's attention was the hand that did not stop waving at them, unaware that the cardboard had fallen to the ground, Courage gasped, his stomach lurching with horror.
Shaggy and Scooby's eyes were now open wide, they both looked at the still moving hand with alarm.
Scooby gulped, "Ron second thought, maybe you're onto something!"
"Come on, we gotta warn Muriel and the farmer about this!" Courage gestured, as he ran off with Shaggy and Scooby following him.
The three friends went to the living room, with Muriel talking with Maria, and Eustace, trying to fix the antenna of the TV.
"Darn lousy TV antennas!" Eustace shouted, as he was now essentially about to rip the antennas off the television.
"Eustace, meet our new neighbor, Maria," Muriel introduced while walking into the room with Maria by her side.
"Yeah, yeah. Neighbor, great," Eustace said, not caring what Muriel just said.
"Aunt Muriel! Like, there's something about Maria's husband that you should know about!" Shaggy stated, as he tap his aunt's shoulder.
"You dumb dogs and Shaggy-haired fella, go see if the roof antenna is wobbling or something!" Eustace demanded.
"Rot now, Rustace! Rhis is urgent!" Scooby barked, his paws trembling.
"Now, boys, don't be rude. We must make our new neighbor here feel welcomed at home," Muriel scolded.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage had no choice, but to obey, they all sigh, "Yes, Muriel./Yes, Aunt Muriel./Res, Ruriel."
The three best friends walked to the door and opening it, the cowardly trio stepped outside and enjoyed the fresh air that greeted them, knowing that they needed the ladder to get onto the roof to check on the antenna, Courage closed the door and followed his best friends down the porch.
The three best friends walked to the door and opening it, the cowardly trio stepped outside and enjoyed the fresh air that greeted them, knowing that they needed the ladder to get onto the roof to check on the antenna, Courage closed the door and followed his best friends down the porch.
Only for the three to take in a startled gasp, as they spot the roof antenna a few feet away from them.
"Zoinks! What the heck happened to our antenna?!" Shaggy gasped.
Scooby spun around to looked at the gardening shears next to it as well with bewilderment. "Rait a minute, are those garden shears?!"
Courage looked up behind him and he begin to tremble with fear, "Look, somebody must've snapped our antenna off the roof while we're eating breakfast!"
Shaggy and Scooby followed the cowardly pink beagle's gaze, and saw the HALF OF THE ANTENNA has been snapped off.
"Oh, man! This is exactly like that other time when that duck dude pretended to be a TV repairman!" Shaggy responded, frantically.
Scooby picked the antenna up, he and Shaggy followed Courage back into the house.
"Rustace, somebody climbed onto our roof and snapped our antenna off with garden shears!" Scooby cried, getting their attention as he had the antenna in his paws, but like usual, it fell on deaf ears.
"Dumb dogs and Shaggy-haired fella, dumb TV, dumb reception!" Eustace complained before ripping off the TV antennas.
"Oh, why does nobody ever listen to a word we say?!" Courage muttered.
"We've got perfect reception in the Winnebago, our casa is your casa," Maria offered. "Which means what's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine, all mine."
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage froze, it sounded like Maria wanted something from the family in return.
Rhat does she mean by that? Scooby thought in a panic.
"How lovely," Muriel said, unaware of all the red flags that were going up.
"Works for me. He, he, he, neighbor," Eustace laughed as he picked up the TV before heading outside to their mobile home.
Shaggy was sitting on Muriel's rocking chair, with Scooby sitting across from him on the floor. Maria, Courage and Muriel were sitting on the couch, with Muriel and Maria drinking tea.
"In what clever hiding spot do you keep valuables such as driver's license, birth certificate, deed to the family farm?" Maria asked.
"Well-" Muriel began but was stopped when Courage covered her mouth.
Shaggy looked at his aunt, feeling very triggered, staring at her like she sprouted an extra head, "Aunt Muriel, what are you doing?! Like, you can't just show your personal belongings to someone you just barely met!" he responded, glaring at Maria.
Maria, who laughed at the trio, It became clear to Shaggy, Scooby and Courage that she knew they were all onto her, which made the three best friends' stomachs sink.
"Now, boys, she is our neighbor. Our casa is her casa, whatever that means," Muriel scolded the trio as she got up and headed behind the couch to pull out a safe.
"Rirst of all, casa means home in Spanish, I've been learning how to speak in different languages before me and Raggy came here! Recond of all, just because she's our 'neighbor', that doesn't mean everything in this house belong to her!" Scooby relayed.
Maria took out a notepad and pencil. Courage gasped, as he turned to Maria.
"Hush now, Scooby, I'm trying to concentrate. Okay, we just dial 5," Muriel began while turning the dial on the safe.
"94!" Courage said, trying to mess with Maria.
"87," Muriel continued.
"6... or, uh... 144!" Shaggy shouted, as Maria wrote down the following number.
"11," Muriel continued.
"Ro, wait! Rit's 19!" Scooby shouted.
"It's a secret combination," Muriel said as the safe unlocked, she opened the safe before taking out all the documents she had in there.
"MURIEL, NO!/AUNT MURIEL, NO!/RURIEL, NO!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage exclaimed in unison.
Courage jumped towards Muriel, he then grabbed all the documents from her before putting them back into the safe.
"Now, boys, you can trust Maria, she's a lovely person," Muriel naively said.
"Ah, don't so hard on your perros and niño, not everyone takes a liking of me at first sight. Besides, they will get used to having me and my husband as their new neighbors in time, especially this handsome young boy of yours," Maria said, as she stand up from the couch walked up to Shaggy and pinched his cheek. Shaggy shrank away from Maria's clammy hand.
"Like, ow! Watch the cheeks, will you?" Shaggy hissed, as he rubbed his cheek with discomfort.
"By the way, you will share with me your beauty secrets, won't you?" Maria asked Muriel.
"See?" Muriel nodded.
In the bathroom, Muriel was dying Maria's hair white, as she put lots a pins in Courage's mouth, before he spit them all out, as Muriel was done with Maria's hair.
Why does Maria want to know so much about Muriel and to look like her? Courage thought.
Muriel and Maria were both sitting on the couch, and now both look like twins.
"Huh? Who?" Courage asked, confused as he looked between Muriel and Maria.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm starting to see double," Shaggy said, as he rubbed is eyes.
"Re too, I can't tell which Ruriel is our Ruriel," Scooby said with a shrugged.
Courage woke up, with one eye wide open as he saw to his shock and horror, a HAND CRAWLING on his masters' bed with Muriel's glasses and crawl out of the bedroom.
Out in the hallway, Shaggy and Scooby didn't bother trying to go to bed tonight, as they both can't sleep for the worry of Muriel. Then they saw an MOVING HAND crawling across the floor like a spider with Muriel's glasses. Terrified and barely breathing, Shaggy and Scooby both back away and cowered.
"Zoinks! Like, do my eyes deceive me or did we just saw a disembodied hand running in the hallways with Aunt Muriel's glasses?!" Shaggy exclaimed, wide-eyed with fright at seeing the disembodied hand crawling across the floor.
The door closing woke up Muriel, as she asked, "Eustace, is that you?"
Shaggy and Scooby just went into the master bedroom, while Courage went over to Muriel's side of the bed, as he babbled out, "Muriel, Muriel! There was a really creepy-looking disembodied hand in here and it took off with your glasses!" as he said this, he transformed into the hand he saw and turned back to his old self.
"You know I can't hear you with my glasses Courage," Muriel replied.
"Wait, what does Aunt Muriel mean she can't hear us without her glasses?" Shaggy asked, not sure how this was possible.
"Rhe must be deaf, no wonder she never listens to a word we say," Scooby told his cowardly owner.
"Nevermind that, where did that hand ran off to?!" Courage exclaimed, hurrying to find were the hand is going.
The trio ran out of the the master bedroom, heading downstairs, they opened the front door and saw Maria driving away from the farm in her mobile home.
"Look, dudes! Like, that Ladrones lady is getting away in her Winnebago!" Shaggy shouted, pointing at the window.
"Yay!" Courage wagged his tail and wore a wide grin.
Shaggy and Scooby didn't share the same optimism as Courage, they both knew Maria was planning something besides stealing Muriel's glasses, but what?
"Rhat should we do?" Scooby protested.
Courage however remained brightened, "Nothing, we celebrate! That lady is finally gone, which means that we won't have to be dealing with her anymore!"
As Courage was experiencing some relief, Shaggy and Scooby looked at one another and began to worry, what if Maria is planning something bigger than they imagine?
Just like, what is that lady dude up to? Shaggy thought.
The next day, Courage, was snapping his fingers while listening to the soft music playing on the radio, while Shaggy and Scooby were both pacing around, still thinking about last night.
"Something's not right here, dudes, how come that Ladrones lady just drove off in the middle of the night like that?" Shaggy questioned, bewildered at the lack of logic in it all.
"RI'm not sure. Rhe looked like she was in a bit of a hurry or something, but what I wanna know is why though?" Scooby mused with a frown.
"Who cares? Now that those so-called new neighbors is gone, things can finally go back to normal around here," Courage said with a contended sigh as he lay back on the ground in relaxation. He kept dancing to the music, that was on the radio.
But Muriel's voice caught the trio's attention, followed by the sound of her hitting something, turning the three saw that Muriel had walked straight into her chair.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Muriel apologized.
"Oh, man! Like, we totally forgot about Aunt Muriel's glasses!" Shaggy groaned.
Muriel before walked to the side, only to bump into the closet door. "Oh! Excuse me."
"Ruriel, watch out! Rou're heading straight for the-" Scooby called out a warning, too late.
"Oh, pardon me," Muriel apologized as she fell onto the couch cushions.
"Rouch," Scooby finished, with a disappointing sigh.
Shaggy looked at Courage, worry written all over his face.
"Okay, so maybe it is kinda strange for a walking hand to take Muriel's glasses, but it's nothing an extra spare can't fix, right?" Courage suggested with an uneven smile.
Suddenly, a special report came from the radio. "We interrupt this program to bring you a special report, the Grandmother Diamond has been stolen! The precious stone was taken from the Nowhere Museum by... Muriel Bagge!"
Courage, Scooby and Shaggy exclaimed in horror unison. "MURIEL BAGGE?!/RURIEL BAGGE?!"
"Yes, did someone call my name?" Muriel asked, muffled by the cushions.
"But, like, that's impossible! My aunt over here is no thief, she is a sweet old lady who would never harm a fly!" Shaggy frowned, exchanging a worried glance with Scooby.
"Reah! Rand she's been with us this whole time ever since we found out there was a bunch of jewel thieves on the loose!" Scooby insisted, with worry and panic.
"Now, just try to remain calm, you guys! I know this all seems kinda sudden, but who knows? I mean it could just be another Muriel Bagge?" Courage quickly reassured as Shaggy and Scooby simply listen in apt dismay.
This theory was instantly proven wrong, however, as the reporter continued his emergency broadcast, "The dangerous felon was nice enough to leave her driver's license, birth certificate and family photos at the crime scene to aid the police!"
"Now isn't that thoughtful?" Muriel asked.
Courage was thinking for a moment, now believing this was possibly THEIR MURIEL the reporter was talking about, "Who could've cracked the code and stole all of Muriel's valuables anyhow?!"
The three try to figure out who steal Muriel's valuables and cracked the code. Yesterday Muriel was showing Maria her valuables and sharing her code, it was possible…
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all gasped together, sudden realization hitting them, "Maria Ladrones!/Raria Ladrones!"
"Like, why we didn't we see this before?! That Ladrones lady was the criminal all along!" Shaggy breathed.
"Row it all makes perfect sense! Rhe valuables, the makeover and the glasses!" Scooby said hoarsely.
"I knew there was something suspicious about that lady! She was just only pretending to be neighborly towards us, so she could use Muriel as her scapegoat for her crimes!" Courage finished.
Then, the family heard a knock on the door.
"Boys, can one of you three get the door?" Muriel asked.
Courage got up and headed to the door. Opening it, the pink beagle saw a tall and muscular policeman standing in front of him.
"Uh... can we help you with something, officer?" Shaggy gulped, walking up behind Courage.
"I'm looking for Muriel Bagge, do any of you know where she is?" the officer answered.
"Yes?" Muriel asked, walking up to the door.
"You have the right to remain silent," the officer told her.
"Is that you, cousin Harold?" Muriel asked.
"Rho's cousin Rarold?" Scooby asked raising a confused eyebrow, as he came up to the door as well.
"You're under arrest for stealing the Grandmother Diamond," the officer answered.
"Oh, Harold," Muriel said, laughing.
"Maybe these will help you see things a bit more clearly," the officer said as he placed Muriel's glasses on her. "We found them at the scene of the crime."
"Why, you're not Harold!" Muriel gasped when her vision became clear again.
"157 people witnessed you steal the diamond while your husband waited in your get-away motor home," the officer said as he grab Muriel's wrist dragged her out of the house to his vehicle.
Scooby, Shaggy and Courage grabbed Muriel's dress and all being dragged out as well. "NOOOOOOOOOO!/ROOOOOOOOOO!"
"Like, you gotta believe us, Mr. Officer Sir: my aunt didn't steal the diamond, she's innocent!" Shaggy shouted on Muriel's behalf.
"Young man, this is a very serious matter, so I must recommend you and your dogs to return back into your home where it's safe immediately," the officer said, not listening to the teenager.
"But, Officer, there must be a mistake," Muriel told him.
"There's no mistake," he told her, sounding slightly annoyed.
Hearing some laughter coming from nearby, the trio looked towards the road and saw Maria driving past them laughing.
"See, there you are with the diamond," the officer said, not realizing Muriel does not have to diamond.
"Guys, we gotta do something! We can't just have Muriel arrested for something she didn't do!" Courage said, frantically.
Shaggy then spotted the officer's vehicle, and suddenly an idea came to him, he remember the time Daphne taught him how to drive a motorcycle while they visited La Serena a couple months ago before he and Scooby came to Nowhere, "Oh, man. I know I'm gonna regret this... Come on, Aunt Muriel! Let's go!"
Courage picked up Muriel and put her in the vehicle and got in with her, as Shaggy and Scooby also got on with Shaggy the one driving.
"RI'm sorry we have to do this, but we need to clear Ruriel's name, Rofficer!" Scooby shouted to the officer, as Shaggy drove the vehicle away.
"YOU ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT!" the officer shouted towards the family as they began to chase after Maria.
As the motorcycle got closer to the trailer, out of nowhere, a CANNON appeared from the side of the vehicle.
"A cannon?! LIKE, THIS VEHICLE HAS A CANNON?!" Shaggy exclaimed in bewilderment.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage screamed in terror, while Shaggy quickly moved to the back of the vehicle to avoid getting hit.
Inside the trailer, Eustace was still watching TV, unaware what's happening outside, as he thought it was the TV making the sound, instead of the cannon.
"Great sound effects!" Eustace said.
Back outside, the motorcycle was almost close to the trailer.
"Come on, come on! Just a little more closer and..." Courage whispered to himself, as he could almost touch the trailer.
But unfortunately, another cannon appeared from the back.
"ZOINKS! NOW THIS THING HAS A CANNON ON THE BACK TOO?!" Shaggy screamed in shock.
The family screamed, as the cannon blow up the vehicle, and now Muriel was the one driving, with Shaggy on top of her, Scooby on top of Shaggy and Courage on top of Scooby.
"Guys, we gotta jump!" Courage was shouting insistently, like an excited child.
Realizing what Courage had in mind, Shaggy cried out fearfully, "Oh no, no! No! No! No! No! No!"
"Raggy, we gotta stop them!" Scooby shouted to his owner.
Shaggy groaned in severe aggravation, realizing they don't have a choice, "Alright' let's go!"
Once they're closer to the trailer, Courage jumped onto the back of the car, yet, as soon as he did, another trap revealed itself. This trap was in the form of a gargoyle that vomited some type of hot liquid at him.
Pain lashed Courage as tears of agony fall out of his eyes and the sickening smell of the hot liquid made him gag. Luckily, it only lasted for a second before it ran out.
"Rourage, are you alright!" Scooby called out, to his best friend.
"I'm fine! Come guys, we have to stop them!" Courage called back.
Shaggy and Scooby both nodded, and jumped onto the roof of the trailer. Courage pulled himself to the top before heading to the front of the car, kneeling, Shaggy, Scooby and risked a glance into the driver's seat of the vehicle. There, they all saw Maria laughing confidently, thinking that she had successfully dealt with them, next to her, however, was the Grandmother Diamond that was in the grip of a living hand, just a hand as there was nothing else attached to it.
"Guys, look! It's the same hand that took Muriel's glasses earlier, only its holding the diamond!" Courage shouted, before quickly coming up with a plan. "All we have to do is carefully snatch that precious stone out of its grasp and-" he didn't get a chance to finished, as the trio had to quickly secure themselves to the car's roof when Maria did a sharp turn.
"WHOA!/RHOA!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage screamed, as they were sent flying into the car and Courage landed on the hand they saw, while Shaggy and Scooby landed between the seats.
Courage laughed as the diamond somehow got in his mouth.
"Rell, that was easy enough... I think," Scooby muttered, eyes widening in horror when he realize now they're all in big trouble.
"Good, Mano, you've got these boys in the palm of your hand," Maria told the hand.
"Hold up a sec! Like, you're telling me this five-fingered creep is your husband?!" Shaggy exclaimed, wide-eyed.
"Ractually, that makes a lot sense now that we think about it," Scooby said, as he and his best friends nodded in agreement. Knowing that they're being honest with themselves, they should of seen this twist coming.
"Enough talk! My husband will finally be able to afford that operation and no meddling perros and niño are going to take that away from us! Mano, finish them all off at once!" Maria ordered the hand, which proceeded to kill them in cold blooded-murder. The cowardly trio's eyes widened in shock and fear.
Back outside, Muriel was slowly getting her mother instincts, as she watch the trio flew inside the trailer.
"They can take my old photos, they can take my identity, but when they take my boys, they've gone too far!" Muriel said angrily, as she drove of what is left of the vehicle, before tripping on the crack on the road and crashed onto the roof of the trailer.
Muriel fell on top of Courage, this caused the hand to fly towards Maria, hitting her face and causing her to lose control of the vehicle. As a result, the car soon went off-road before turning on its side and crashing shortly after.
"Great sound effects," Eustace weakly said, as his head was in the television.
"Oh, my head!" Shaggy weakly murmured, as he rubbed his head.
"Roh, my spine!" Scooby weakly moaned, as he got up, feeling a bit of pain in his back.
"Oh, my stomach!" Courage managed to speak, before coughing violenty, feeling a sharp convulsion inside his chest. He found himself gagging as something seemed to claw it's way out of his chest and up into his throat. He proceeded to hit his chest a few times, he opened his mouth. His tongue rolled out of his mouth to reveal the Grandmother Diamond safe and sound.
"Well, at least we got the diamond back, but where's-" Shaggy broke off when he heard his aunt's voice.
"Courage, Shaggy, Scooby, where are you?" Muriel asked, as she was on the ground looking for her glasses.
Spotting them close by, Shaggy grabbed the glasses.
"Re're coming, Ruriel!" Scooby barked out, to the old lady.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were about to bring them over to her but had to move out of the way when Eustace was coming towards them. However, he could not see where he was going as his tv was still on his head, because of this, he tripped over Courage, which resulted in him falling to the ground and breaking his TV. "Ugh... oof!"
Courage's face drained in color, "Oops!"
"Grrr, dumb dogs and Shaggy-haired fella! You all broke my TV!" Eustace shouted, he then tried to strangle Courage, as his vision became hazy. But Eustace was stopped when Muriel hit him on the head with a rolling pin. "Ouch!"
"I guess the only thing I can see without my glasses is Eustace's big shiny head," Muriel said, smiling, which also caused the trio to get a good laugh out of this.
"Aw, Muriel!/Aw, Aunt Muriel!/Raw, Ruriel!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all smiled with grins.
Shaggy give the glasses to Courage, while the pink beagle jumped into Muriel's arms and put them on her face.
"Ooh! Ah... thank you, boys," Muriel smiling as she placed them on her head.
"Like, we're just glad you're not behind bars," Shaggy said, as he lifted his arms and embraced his aunt.
"I don't know what we do with ourselves if something terrible happened to you!" Courage exclaimed, as he wrapped his arms around his owner's neck.
"Rhat reminds me, where did those jewel thieves go?" Scooby informed his family with a frown, as he looked around for the criminals.
The cowardly Great Dane got his answer, as he saw Maria struggling to get the hand from earlier out of a cactus.
"Ugh... Ack, Mano!" Maria shouted.
The officer from earlier arrived on the scene while blowing on his whistle.
"Ah... Caramba?" Maria asked, confused.
"Anything you say can... anything you say can and will be... anything you say can and- oh, forget it," the officer tried to get out before giving up and just arresting Maria and the hand.
"Aw... we would've gotten away with it too if weren't for that meddling niño and those stupid perros," Maria said, bitterly, as she and the hand got taken away by the officer.
"Rust like old times, eh, Raggy?" Scooby asked Shaggy with a grin, remembering those lines from every time they unmasked the criminal with Mystery Inc.
"Heh, that'll teach her to frame my aunt!" Shaggy said, with a dramatic flare.
"Yeah! Besides, there's only one Muriel around here or my name isn't Al Capone... and it's not," Courage grinned broadly.
The family went back to the farm house where Muriel place her documents back into the safe.
"We've got all our things back and our family is together again safe and sound," Muriel said.
"Rou can say that again!" Scooby said with a cheery grin.
Hearing some crying, the family turned around and saw Eustace wiping his teary eyes.
"Uncle Eustace, are you... crying?" Shaggy asked curiously.
"Isn't that sweet, boys, even Eustace is weeping with joy," Muriel said, smiling.
"Joy nothing, those nice neighbors gave me the best reception of my life. When are they coming back?" Eustace whined.
"Hopefully for us, I'd say... never in a million years!" Courage chuckled heartily.
"You got that right, little pink dude! Like, I don't think we'll be seeing those two-timing crooks anytime soon," Shaggy perked up with a smile, putting his hands on his hips.
"Oh! Or will we?" Muriel asked, in shock.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage turned, and their eyes widened when they saw the hand crawling on the TV and turning it off.
Scooby looked at the readers with uncertainty. "Scooby... Dooby... Doo."
Well that's all for this chapter, next will be Courage vs. Mecha-Courage. I like to thank schweenieboy, Angry9guy, brolpoop1 and Aartman7141999 for the quotes and ideas. Let me guys know in the reviews/comments of what should I do for the future episodes or next chapter. And what Courage should say in future chapters. Until then this is vakarns signing out.
Courage vs. Mecha-Courage: Di Lung feels that Courage is not a good enough dog and eventually builds a mechanical version of him as a replacement. Courage decides to stop him by a fight.
