Today, the family are in Nowhere campground for a short vacation, Muriel decided a small break was in order. And after a bit of discussion, the family decided to go on a camping trip.

Shaggy came up with an ax, and lower the it onto a giant sub sandwich he had put on a tree stump. "Here you go, Scoob," he said as he handed his best friend his half of the sub. "An eight-inch hoagie sandwich."

"Rummy," Scooby barked and smiled hungrily.

"Now this is what I call camping," Shaggy looking at Scooby with a big grin. "Good friends."

"Rood food," Scooby chimed in.

"And best of all..." Shaggy began before he and Scooby said this at the same time. "No monsters/Ro monsters."

Shaggy and Scooby turn to see Courage lifting a giant mallet before bringing it down on the tent peg. The little cowardly pink beagle grunted, "Come on, just a few more."

Shaggy looked concerned, at his little best friend, "Like, need some help little pink dude?" he asked, as he and Scooby walked over to him.

"I got it-oooh," Courage answered, as he lifted the mallet again, only for the weight to nearly send him to the ground had Scooby not caught him in time.

"Rou sure about that?" Scooby asked while taking the mallet from him.

"Thanks," Courage spoke while rolling his eyes in a daze, trying to clear his head.

Muriel was cooking a fish and, Eustace did nothing to help and only complained.

"Get rich real quick. I did it, and so can you. All you have to do to learn the secret of my success is send me money," the voice of Di Lung said before laughing manically.

"Big deal," Eustace said, annoyed.

"That's right. It's as simple as that. Get out your checkbook, credit card, and wallet and send them to me," Di Lung explained before laughing again.

"Like, who's gonna fall for that scam?" Shaggy remarked, rolling his eyes at overhearing the TV.

"Retty sure Rustace would fall for that," Scooby chimed in with a smirk, causing Shaggy and Courage to snicker.

Shaggy picked up the mallet and began to finish setting up the tent.

"My boys, your all working like dogs," Muriel said, walking up to the cowardly trio with a tray in her hands.

"Rog? Rhere?" Scooby asked, with a teasing smirk.

"It's us Scooby," Courage laughed, at his best friend's joke.

"Like what am I, chop liver?" Shaggy joked blithely, causing all the three best friends to laugh.

"Oh my, boys," Muriel giggled, at their antics. "Have drinks of nice cold lemonade before you faint."

The three each grab a glass of lemonade and glass gulping the refreshing cold lemonade down their throats.

The result was Courage let out a loud belch that knocked down the tent.

"Oh my," Muriel said.

"Oops, sorry guys," Courage said, with a sheepish smile.

"Like, that's okay little pink dude, we'll help you set up the tent, right Scoob?" Shaggy asked, turning to the Great Dane.

"Reah," Scooby agreed proudly, with a giggle.

"Boys have a cupcake, it'll keep up your energy," Muriel said, handing each the trio a chocolate cupcake.

"Yay!" Courage cheered his mouth watering, as he took a cupcake, and ate it, feeling the rich chocolate sliding down his throat.

"Thanks, Aunt Muriel," Shaggy said as he accepted and devour his cupcake.

"Reah, thanks Ruriel," Scooby also said, as he also ate his cupcake in one bite, feeling the sugary chocolate coating his tongue.

"Why don't I get a cupcake?" Eustace whined.

Courage giggled, as he finished up his cupcake.

"Stupid no sharing dogs and Shaggy-haired-fella," Eustace complained, only to shout in pain when a large acorn landed on his head. "Stupid nature!"

It was late at night, and aside from Eustace, the family were all in the tent. But since it was not yet time to head to sleep, they tried to find a way to pass the time. And after a bit of passing ideas around, Muriel chose to tell scary stories that were scaring the cowardly trio.

The reaction Muriel got for her story were scaring the wits out of Shaggy, Scooby and Courage as they're shrieking in terror, at Muriel's spooky tale.

"And that was the last sound Percival made before he was eaten alive by the Haunted Haggis," Muriel said, finishing her story.

The three best friends were huddling together for a group hug. They were all trembling at the end of Muriel's story.

"No more scary stories! That's enough for now," Shaggy whimpered with fright.

"Would you boys like to hear another?" Muriel asked, not hearing her nephew's pleads.

"N-No," Courage stammered, too freaked out by Muriel's spooky tales.

"Good, this one's called the haunted tent," Muriel told the trio, scaring them further.

"T-T-The h-h-haunted t-t-tent?" Shaggy stammered weakly.

"Rikes!" Scooby screamed with fright.

Courage screamed in utter terror before diving into Shaggy's sleeping bag.

"Alright, it starts in a campground much like ours. But this one was for a group of young boy scouts looking to get their camping badges. And after a long hard day of earning badges, one of the boy scouts went into his tent to take a nap. As he got ready, he felt something was off with his tent," Muriel began telling the story with Shaggy, Scooby and Courage getting more scared with each passing minute. They slowly widened their eyes in horror.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were holding onto each other, shaking really hard now.

Shaggy's face drained of color, "I don't like the sound of this haunted tent," he whimpered. The cowardly teen was becoming shaken by a sudden spike in fear.

"Re either," Scooby whined, he was rapidly losing his nerve by the second.

"Wh-What happened n-next?" Courage asked, covering his mouth with both of his paws in pure fear.

"It was then he realized that tent was alive," Muriel continued the story.

"Roh-no," Scooby whimpered.

"And as the tent grew tighter and tighter around the scared little boy scout until he let out a horrible scream," Muriel stated.

By now Shaggy, Scooby, and Courage were shaking in intense anxiety, as they huddled together. The three best friends could not imagine the horrors that the Haunted Tent could inflict upon them and Muriel.

Suddenly they all heard Eustace screamed from outside, making the terrified best friends craw fast behind Muriel, quivering slightly.

"Oh, my," Muriel said.

"What was that?" Courage yelped in fear.

"It sounded like Uncle Eustace," Shaggy muttered apprehensively.

"I'll go and check on him," Muriel said, as she exited the tent.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were getting anxious on the haunted tent story that Muriel had told them about earlier. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage then heard an owl hooting, making them fearfully whimpered. All three of them looked around nervously, paranoid.

"Do you like, dudes think this tent might be haunted?" Shaggy asked, as he looked around nervously.

"R-R-RI don't know," Scooby respond, his voice and body were just as shaky.

Then the three terrified best friends heard the owl hoot again.

"Maybe, we should go with Muriel!" Courage whimpered, clearly frightened out of his mind and scurrying out the tent in fear.

"Agreed!/Ragreed!" Shaggy and Scooby responded in unison, as they also both scurry out of the tent with fright.

The cowardly trio huddled together behind Muriel, jumping to every sound. They felt very hair on their body stood on end.

"Eustace!" Muriel called her husband a couple times, as she looked under the cushions of Eustace's chair. "I wonder where that man went to?"

"Raybe Haunted Haggis got him!" Scooby quivered upon hearing Muriel asking at what she thought, and gulped nervously.

"And we like, maybe next!" Shaggy shuddered in agreement, twice as nervous.

"Oh-no!" Courage exclaimed in horror.

"Don't worry boys, I'm sure Eustace just went for a walk," Muriel reassured the terrified trio. "I think we might be just a little on edge. Haunted Haggis will do that to ya."

Suddenly, the family heard sticks snap in the bushes.

"Then like, what's that?" Shaggy asked, his body quivered.

The family turned and saw two pairs of eyes glowing in the dark.

Courage screamed, now even more terrified. "IT'S HAUNTED HAGGIS!"

Shaggy, Scooby and even Muriel, give out gasps of fear. The cowardly trio tensed up in fear, their hearts leapt into their throats as if trying to choke them.

The pairs of eyes came closer to the frightened family, but as they came into the moonlight, it turned out it was just two little raccoons.

"Oh, look boys, friends of the forest," Muriel said.

This made Shaggy and Scooby both sighed with relief.

"Oh like, thank goodness it's just raccoons," Shaggy sighed with relief.

"Reah, phew!" Scooby agreed, taking some breaths to calm down.

Despite his best friends' relief, Courage couldn't shake the bad feeling that made his stomach churn and goosebumps rise on the back of his neck. Something was wrong with those raccoons, "I don't know guys. There's something off about the raccoons, or my is Robin Hood, and it's not."

"Oh come on, little dog dude, these raccoons don't look bad," Shaggy insisted with encouragement, trying to ease his best friend's worries.

"Have you seen my Eustace?" Muriel asked, bending down towards the raccoons.

The two raccoons response was they suddenly grow vicious, and took out their WEAPONS.

"Oh my," Muriel said, worriedly.

"Rhere not friendly!" Scooby screamed hysterically in horror.

Courage screamed out in horror, as what the raccoons might do to them now.

A few minutes later, Courage was beaten up a little by the raccoons, and was chained up to a tree along with Shaggy and Scooby.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage struggled to get out of the chains, that they're tied in, but it was no use.

"Get us out of here!" Shaggy yelled, struggling against the ropes, even though it was hopeless.

"Ret us free!" Scooby pleaded, he wiggled his paws trying to escape.

The campground littered with arrows, missiles, and giant boulders, Muriel was tied up to Eustace's chair, and was on the trunk of the truck. The TV was also in the truck.

"Oh my, this uncomfortable. Uncomfortable and unnecessary, and in general just plain wrong!" Muriel screamed, as the raccoons drove the truck away, and taking the old woman way.

"Zoinks! They're getting away," Shaggy uttered.

"Muriel!" Courage screamed out, worried for his owner. He thought of what they might do to Muriel. Courage's stomach clenched and his mind reeled with a vision of worse thing he could think of is the raccoons eating her flesh. "Noooo! We gotta save Muriel before she becomes raccoon food."

"Row?! Re're chained up to a tree!" Scooby pointed out, just as worried now.

Courage with all of his might struggle to get himself and his best friends free, "Come on, come on," he grunted. Finally although, Courage only manage to lift the tree of the ground much to the amazement of Shaggy and Scooby, they're otherwise free from the spot they're trapped in.

"MURIEL! MURIEL!" Courage shouted out.

"Like, for a little guy, he sure is strong," Shaggy commented.

"Rell, he did manage to always, to lift us up, Ruriel and Rustace, it's not surprising," Scooby remarked.

Suddenly, the trio heard Eustace calling out to them, Courage turned around to where the voice led to. As the pink beagle began to follow his shouting, only soon to find him, Shaggy and Scooby at the edge of a cliff.

"STUPID STUPID DOGS AND STUPID STUPID NEPHEW!" Eustace shouted.

"Like, that sounds like Uncle Eustace," Shaggy shrugged with a puzzle expression.

"OVER HERE!" Eustace screamed.

And at the top of a tiny mountain peak was Eustace sitting on a small platform.

"Rit is Rustace," Scooby muttered with a quirked eyebrow.

"GET ME AND ME MONEY DOWN FROM HERE!" Eustace demanded while waving his hand that held the money.

"Yep, that's him alright," Courage concluded dryly, then suddenly the edge of the cliff began to break, and the cowardly pink beagle started to panic, "Uh-oh."

The cowardly trio let out cries of horror, as the edge broke and Eustace shouted in pain as the branches of the tree landed on him. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage looked down at the ground in fear, and pray that the edge of the cliff, doesn't crumble.

Eustace began to climb across the tree while never letting go of the money. "Stupid tree slamming dogs and nephew!" He came to the chains that hang onto the cowardly trio. "Stop your play dogs and Shaggy-haired-fella!"

Shaggy saw that Eustace was about to unchain the chain that was holding onto him and his best friends from falling, he felt a jolt of fear sweep through him, "LIKE DUDES, HE ABOUT TO UNCHAIN US!" he screamed.

"RHAT!?" Scooby yelped out stared off in shock. Did his best friend Shaggy say what he think he said.

"He wouldn't!" Courage responded off disbelief, would Eustace try something so foolish as to let them drop?

Eustace was unhooking the chain now.

"Re would," Scooby nervously remotely issued in seeing the grumpy old farmer ain't kidding, he actually intends to do it.

Eustace was almost done with untangling the chain.

"NO! NO! DON'T DO IT!/ RO! RO! RON'T DO IT!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were shouting together with worried pleas for the old farmer to not actually do this.

Unfortunately it fell on deaf ears as Eustace undid the chain, causing the cowardly trio to scream as they all dropped down to the stream that was on the ground, all the while Shaggy was hanging onto the chain for dear life, Scooby was hanging onto Shaggy's torso, while Courage was hanging onto Scooby's tail. Luckily the chain caught onto a tiny branch making the three best friends bounced back up to the tree that was onto the cliff.

They all went swinging the tree a couple times, before finally landing on the surface of the tree. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all catch their breaths from the experience they all went through.

"Like, let's not do that again! Ever!" Shaggy panted, with his hand over his chest in surprise.

"Stupid tree-playing dogs and nephew," Eustace scolded.

"You're welcome/Rou're welcome," Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all muttered dryly in unison.

After the family all got off the tree, Eustace spotted a poster of the raccoons on the tree. He went over to a nearby tree and pulled down a poster. "These are the guys that did this to me," he said as he showed the trio the poster, which turned out to be a wanted flyer.

Scooby frowned and studied the wanted flyer, suddenly his eyes widen, "Rits the same raccoons that tortured us."

"Care to explain little pink dude?" Shaggy instructed.

"Happy to Shaggy, first, they destroyed our tent," Courage explained to Eustace, to which he surprisingly understood.

"Big deal," Eustace mocked as he rolled up the flyer.

"Then, they chained us to a tree," Courage continued.

Eustace only laughed in response, "Stupid dog."

"And finally, they kidnapped Muriel and stole the truck along with the chair and TV," Courage finished.

Eustace's face turned to one of terror and he screamed, "They took me chair and TV."

The cowardly trip could not believe what they were hearing from Eustace. Shaggy facepalmed and groan at Eustace's statement, Scooby's jaw dropped and Courage pulled his ears in frustration.

"I'M GOING HUNTING!" Eustace declared before leaving and taking Courage with him, and turned to Shaggy and Scooby. "And you three are coming with me."

"The things I do for love," Courage stated while exasperated with Eustace's carelessness of his wife, this was gonna be a long night.

Scooby and Courage were both sniffing on the ground, to try and pick up Muriel's scent.

"Like, did you guys find anything?" Shaggy asked anxiously, hoping the dogs made some progress.

"Not yet Shaggy," Courage responded with a worried expression, as he kept sniffing on the ground.

"Quit your sniffing and just follow the tire tracks, you stupid dogs!" Eustace yelled at the two dogs.

"Like angry old dude, they are helping by getting my aunt's scent," Shaggy stated, while crossing his arms.

"Stupid nephew! You don't know the first thing about hunting," Eustace snapped back at him.

Shaggy rolled his eyes, at his grumpy uncle. Like, just because I'm not the smartest guy in the world, doesn't mean I'm stupid neither. His thoughts were cut off when he heard Muriel's bloodcurdling scream. "That's Aunt Muriel!" he responded to him his family.

"OH NO! NOT THAT!" Muriel screamed.

"Rit's coming from over there!" Scooby exclaimed to his family, pointing to a nearby cave with his paw and a nod.

Careful to not make a sound, the family made their way to the entrance of the cave.

"Oh no! Like, poor Aunt Muriel," Shaggy cringed in horror, grasping his hands to his mouth.

"I can imagine the horrible things they're doing to her!" Courage exclaimed with worry, fearing the worse for the his owner.

"They better not be messing up me chair," Eustace snarled.

"Let's get Muriel out of there," Courage urged before entering the cave with the Shaggy and Scooby following him.

"Ropefully, she's alright," Scooby said, worry written all over his face.

But the Great Dane's worries were unfounded as he, Shaggy and Courage found her sitting in Eustace's chair with a bowl of popcorn. The raccoons were sitting on the arms of the chair, seeing the television on, the trio moved a bit to the side and saw that they were watching a monster movie.

"Huh?" Courage asked in confusion.

"Like, popcorn and a movie? Why didn't they invite us?" Shaggy complained.

Courage rolled his eyes, at the hungry teen.

"Oh, Shaggy, Scooby, Courage, here you all are," Muriel said, waving at the trio when she noticed them.

However, it did not seem the raccoons like the three best friends, for they started to growl in warning. "It's all right, little ones, Courage, Scooby and Shaggy are part of the family."

"Rare you alright, Ruriel?" Scooby inquired worriedly.

"I'm alright, dear, only a wee bit sacred from the movie," Muriel answered. "Come watch with us, it's a scary one it is."

"No way," Courage replied with his paws on his hips, not trusting the raccoons.

"They're really nice Courage, they just want a mother is all," Muriel answered with a smile as she hugged the raccoons.

"Rome on Rourage, they okay to me," Scooby insisted, feeling calm about the raccoons now and seeing nothing really wrong.

"Alright, but I don't like it," Courage replied with an annoying frown, still not trusting the raccoons before hopping onto Muriel's lap.

"That's right, they're plenty room for everyone," Muriel insisted.

The raccoons growled at Courage as, he hop onto Muriel's lap. Courage turned away, while glaring at the raccoon on his left with annoyance.

"Like, what are you watching?" Shaggy asked, as he moved another chair the raccoons had in their cave.

"A movie about a monster with a human face that terrorizes Japan," Muriel answered.

"Rounds interesting," Scooby said, as he pulled up a chair next to Muriel and sat down.

"That's right, there's plenty of room for everyone," Muriel said, as Courage took a bit of popcorn from the bowl.

Muriel then passed down, to Shaggy who gladly took a handful, he then passed it Scooby who also took a handful, (or in this case a pawful.) Scooby passed down to a raccoon who ate half, while handing some to his brother, who also have half. The first raccoon handed Courage the bowl, but it was empty when Courage try to find some popcorn left.

"Hey! You ate all the popcorn!" Courage complained, while the raccoons chuckled at the pink beagle, he sighed being mad at the raccoons wasn't going to make anymore popcorn.

"Like, don't worry little pink dude, we can always get some more," Shaggy said.

"It's fine, I just wanna enjoy the movie," Courage assured, while his arms were cross and was glaring at the two raccoons. He was just tired and didn't wanna deal with this right now, for now he just wants to relax on Muriel's lap and watch the movie.

The family and the raccoons stayed like this for the next ten minutes, all the while enjoying the movie, unfortunately, this moment was ruined when Eustace came back in and used a net to capture the raccoons. Eustace laughed before turning around to leave the cave but was stopped by Muriel.

"Eustace, what are you doing with those children?" Muriel asked.

"I'm going to turn them in and get the reward," Eustace answered. "That's what they get for stealing me chair and me TV."

"Come back with those sweet, misunderstood children," Muriel demanded.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage looked at one another in dismay.

"Blah, blah, blah," Eustace mocked before running out of the cave.

"OOH! Boys, do something," Muriel told the trio, worried for the raccoons.

Shaggy put a hand to his forehead in dismay, "Zoinks! What are we going to do?"

"Re gotta save them, come on!" Scooby exclaimed boldly, as he got up.

"Right behind you Scooby!" Courage responded, as he and Shaggy also got up and exited the cave.

"Like, little pink dude, you sure this will work?" Shaggy asked highly skeptical of this idea, as he helped Courage steady the giant raccoon cardboard cut-out he made.

"Pretty sure, I think. I hope this works," Courage answered his tone sincere before turning to Scooby. "Ready?"

Scooby nodded, and throw the dollar attached to the fishing line out of the bushes into Eustace's path.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage waited a moment for him to arrive, to which Eustace immediately noticed the dollar.

"Huh?" Eustace asked, confused when he spotted the dollar, but right before he could lean down to pick it up, Scooby reeled the line back into the bushes. "Who took my dollar? Where's my dollar?"

"Now, Courage," Shaggy instructed in a whisper, turning to him.

Courage nodded before bringing up the megaphone to his mouth, "LET THOSE LITTLE RACCOONS GO!" he shouted into the megaphone as Shaggy and Scooby readied themselves.

"MAKE ME!" Eustace challenged.

Hearing this, Shaggy and Scooby pushed the raccoon cardboard cut-out into the open as Courage began to make really loud growling noises, the result was that of Eustace dropping the raccoons before running off into the distance. The raccoons started to cheer as they were freed, but it was then they noticed that the raccoon cut-out was falling over, luckily, the raccoons already backed up in time to avoid getting hurt.

"Rello," Scooby said and waved.

"It's okay, the mean man isn't gonna bother you anymore," Courage told the raccoons.

Seeing that Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were the ones who saved them, they rushed to them and began to thank them while lifting Courage up and down in cheers.

Shaggy looked at the raccoons thoughtfully, "You know what they say, looks can be deceiving."

"Rand these two raccoons, are not deceiving just misunderstood," Scooby added.

"You got that from Muriel?" Courage leaned in, with a knowing smile.

"Rell Ruriel is a patient woman," Scooby replied with his enthusiastic grin.

"That's my Aunt Muriel," Shaggy said with a chuckle.

The next day, the family expect for Eustace were all back at the farmhouse.

"Camping does such wonder for the spirit," Muriel said as she drank some of her lemonade. "We must do it again soon."

Courage agreed while laughing, his teeth and mouth covered in chocolate, making Shaggy and Scooby giggle with the pink beagle.

"I just wonder when Eustace will be coming home," Muriel said, with concern.

"If he does, I hope he learned that other things are more important than his couch and TV," Shaggy answered, while eating his cupcake.

Scooby and Courage looked at each other for a moment and thought about Shaggy's statement, before replying with, "Nah!/Rah!" the three best friends shook their heads at the same time. They dismissed Eustace changing his ways, he seems to never learn anyway.

"No matter how many times he tries to get rich for greedy reasons, his plans will always fail," Courage posed.

"Rou said it Rourage," Scooby agreed, before gobbling down his cupcake, "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!"
