Victoire Lupin (nee Weasley) - head canons

Slytherin, though certainly not a bigot, but the smirking, ambitious type who has beef with her younger sister, mostly revolving around Victoire's pride in her own Veela looks and natural intelligence and Dominique's jealousy. She gets together with Teddy, and, much like Teddy's parents and grandparents, they get married and they have their first child soon after hooking up, the marriage just after Victoire's graduation, the summer of 2018. They end up having seven children with him.

They take their honeymoon over the Christmas period in Australia and they love it so much that they decide this is where they want to live. They return to Britain for a few months though, so Teddy can complete auror training, and Victoire continues working for the Department of International Magical Cooperation for a bit before going on maternity leave in April when her first child, Remus Harry Lupin is born. By June though, Teddy is qualified, and so they pack their bags and go, transferring to the Australian ministry's equivalent departments, where the names Lupin and Weasley are held in almost as much esteem as in Britain.

Andromeda moves to Australia after just a year, growing very lonely with no remaining family in Britain, and the Lupins return to Britain every summer to avoid the Australian winter. Their children are all metamorphagi, and some of them are educated at Hogwarts, some at Australia's main magical school - Victoire can't help but have a special place in her heart for her daughter Andromeda, who goes to Victoire's old house. Teddy eventually rises to the post of head auror, and then HoDMLE, and Victoire rises to the post of minister of magic at 53, and becomes the world's longest-ever serving minister of magic, retiring at 170! Victoire lives to be 200, exceptionally long even for a witch, probably partly due to her Veela heritage.

Victoire is a Slytherin through-and-through: a part of her motive in moving to Australia was she knew it would be really easy to rise the ranks of the ministry due to being multilingual, as well as being a Weasley married to a Lupin, as well as her British contacts, both friends and family - and even looks and charisma - making her a real asset to the Australian ministry, which had even been part of her motive for going there on a honeymoon, but her love for the place was genuine and remains genuine for the rest of her life, and she causes great advances as minister of magic, including strengthening the ties between Australia's main school of magic and Hogwarts and Beauxbatons. She, like her husband, was a prefect and then head girl, and was an excellent Quidditch player as well, becoming their new Seeker during her third year, before becoming Captain in fifth year, the first female to be the Slytherin Quidditch captain in years.

Her best friends are Coelia Greengrass and Ashantae Burke, also her dormmates, to the point where Chloe even moves to Australia with Teddy and Victoire, though Ash stays behind in the UK with her boyfriend Otto Venables.
