Log 0: prologue
Hello. I would like to preface what you are about to read. This is the first of a number of catalogues containing logs of what will occur in this experiment. Or, in other words, Season One.
Each log, or episode, may be different in format. Some logs will follow a whole day, others a few hours. Some logs may even contain whole weeks in one log. Some may simply be excerpts from texts within the experiment.
Now, to explain what exactly this is. This is an experiment ten years in the making. This is the fusion of five universes into one, with the participants being the residents of these universes.
Since I was young, I've always had a vivid idea of this: the fusion of multiple universes into one. However, though I knew the what, I toiled as to the where. Eventually, I came to the format of this experiment.
Now, I have tried to change each universe as little as possible. However, change to the universes was inevitable for the sake of compatibility. Universes whose stories and histories are incomplete have had to be filled in. Universes with too many variations have been condensed into one universe made just for this experiment. Some dates, times, locations, and hereditary histories have had to be augmented or completely changed for the sake of this experiment.
Do keep in mind, in the beginning, not everything will be clear, nor will every decision make sense. However, in time, I hope all of the pieces will fall into place. In the meantime, simply enjoy the coming logs.
Just in advance, logs will not be coming in a consistent schedule. Rather, logs will be released when they are finished, which may take a few days or a few weeks. Have patience.
