Harry Cursed his Luck and Gryffindor training.… again.
As a Gryffindor… he had charged into the Department of Mysteries without thinking it through. He had Defied the Gathered Death Eaters. He, refusing to let Sirius fall through the Veil, dove across the polished stone dais and grabbed the man's ankle.
But between his velocity and the 'pull' from the Veil… both were drawn in.
They landed in a pile.
Two 'Asian' Dragons turned to look at them. One was Blacker than Night, the other was Living Light.
"What have we here?" Night swung his head closer to sniff the two wizards as they struggled to stand on their feet.
"Wizards." Light scoffed. "You know what trouble Wizards brought us the last time."
"Yes…" Night uncoiled and swept around the two humans. "And they might be just what we need. As they are more than Human and Here with no way Home…"
"By Our Decree, She can't be Killed…" Light sneered. "And you think two Wizards can Help?"
"They could see a solution we can't. They can act as our Agents but be completely their own Agency." Night flew around the two wizards, his belly rubbing the stone as he 'swam' in the air.
"So… what? We just toss them to Remnant and pray for the best?" Light circled the two humans in the opposite direction, above his brother, "They would either die or burn the world faster than Salem is."
"The Power is strong in them. Yes." Night smiled as only a dragon can. "Pick one. Equip him as he needs, and we send them to Ozpin to train…" He stopped to peer at Sirius. "This one needs to be de-aged a bit…"
"Take him." Light sniffed Harry. "This one is touched by the Grim."
"Ah, Sirius is the Grim." Harry spoke up, pointing.
Sirius grinned before becoming Padfoot.
"Hmm. Neat trick." Night rumbled. His head turned to Harry. "Can you do the same?"
"Not yet." Harry smiled. "It was something we were going to do next month."
Night nodded. "Extract the taint. You don't want your Wizard to be limited do you?"
The two Dragons fell on their chosen Wizard.
LUSH
A month later…
An air shop arrived at Beacon along with the rest of the fleet. From the ship, two males stepped out.
"Damn it, Dog-Breath!" The wild haired youth cuffed the other. "When she says she is not interested, let it go!"
The other, his hair slicked back, was holding his eye. "But did you see the size of her puppies? You know that I had to try."
"Yeah, but when the female you are trying to feel up is half Bovine… after the first No… WALK AWAY!"
"But Jumper Puppies!"
The wild haired youth backhanded his companion, just before he made contact, his bracer morphed into a kite/buckler shield and it clanged off the slicked back hair.
A very McGonagall type of Throat clearing brought both lads about, out of habit.
"He started it, Professor!" They pointed at the other as they chorused.
"Really?"
"Sorry Ma'am." Harry smiled, "Reflexes from our last school." Harry adjusted his sleeveless leather duster coat. "Our last Headmistress ran a tight ship, but allowed a light atmosphere of playfulness."
"And how did she get anything done?" The woman who looked like a cross from a muggle Female CEO, and the fairy godmother in Cinderella. She flicked a riding crop under Harry's nose.
"Because, we trusted her and returned a hundred and twenty five percent. We honed our craft, and served her with military percesion."
"And you are here because…" She glared.
"We were sent to Ozpin." Black gave his lazy grin.
"Oh?"
"Yes… something about his first love."
The Huntress stiffened. "And who sent you?"
The two wizards exchanged glances. "Those who came before." Harry smiled, "we can't say more in public."
"Move along. You have orientation. Be there." She turned on her office heel and strutted off.
"Damn, if only I was my real age." Sirius leered as he watched her walk away.
"One, eew. That's like leering at McGonagall." Harry slapped his shoulder. "Two, if you want to chase co-ed tail…" Harry watched a Rabbit and Deer Faunus walk by, "and it seems like a good possibility of being literal, then leer only at the co-eds."
"One… Minnie is a sexy witch… even at her age." He looked at the pair that Harry was talking about. "Two… with beauties like these, choosing is not possible." He slapped Harry's chest, "Tag, you're it!" He jogged up to the girls, and began to charm them the muggle way.
Harry stumbled from the sharp blow and bumped into a smaller girl in a gothic style dress and a red cape.
The two of them tripped over a stack of luggage. They were cloaked in very find red powder.
They sneezed, and set off a fireball explosion.
"Damn!" Harry struggled to his feet before offering a hand to 'little red'. "First day of School and I blow myself up. Seamus at least waited until his second week."
"You took the brunt of the Blast, are you okay?" The girl asked him.
"Yes, My Semblance uses inflicted damage to boost my stats until I release it." Harry smiled.
"My Sister is the same way!" Red hopped. Then she saw the heavy bangle/gauntlet on each of his wrists. "Also uses Gauntlet weapons!"
Harry triggered a stage one activation. His Gauntlet became a squarish heater styled buckler. "In this mode, I can pot-shot veris dust rounds," he tapped three barrels in the face of the shield. "I have a knife," a twelve inch blade extended out over his fist, before retracting. The small shield rotated so that the point was aimed at the ground. "This is more for when I block attacks against others." It rotated the other direction. "And this is an ax. I was trying for an all-purpose type, but my trainer sat me down and we looked at my combat style and I was categorized as a striker. I hit and fade. While I can snipe, it is best for me to borrow a rifle then to incorporate one into my primary weapon."
"How did you get it all to work… I would think that you have too much going on…" Red was using his hand to move the weapon about to look at it. She was inspecting it closely without touching it.
"I'll be honest." Harry grinned. "I cheated." He powered down the shield into the gauntlet, before he hooked his arm through hers. They headed the way the others went and collected a boy Red called 'vomit shoes' and he learned that they were Ruby Rose and Jaune Arc.
"Oh, French." He nodded. He offered his hand. "My friends call me Harry."
LUSH
Twelve students stood in white boxes on a cliff side.
At the words 'Landing strategy', Black turned to Potter, "I hate your Luck…" as the square launched the Animagus into the air.
Two seconds later Harry joined him. Harry extended his arms, triggered his Gauntlets to stage two. The kite-bucklers rotated so that the point was aimed at his feet, and edges expanded to full Kite size… on both arms, greatly increasing his surface area.
He followed the other mages trajectory and in the last twenty seconds before impact, collapsed his shields into their gauntlet mode.
He executed a perfect 'superhero landing'.
Black glared at him.
"What? Did you think I was going to let you get out of my sight?" Harry smiled at the man. "As bad as my luck is… your stupidity will get you killed by sundown." He raised his left fist and discharged a fire round into the beowolf jumping out of the bushes.
