"Wake up little wife," Kaugra nudged Kagome "We can't keep the dragon waiting,"
Kagome woke up, rubbing her eyes. Right, Oregana.
"Anything I should know?"
"Have you ever met a male dragon?" Kaugra asked,
Kagome wasn't sure she wanted to meet any more males. "No," She said slowly getting up. She was talking but her mind was on what happened last night.
"They are strong and handsome,"
Kagome blinked, was there a point to Kagura telling her this?
"I do hope our husband did his duty to her last night, her father is not as forgiving as the others,"
Kagome knew what that meant.
"She did say she would be the one,"
"The one what?" Kaugra pressed,
Kagome looked at her as they walked. "You know,"
Inside Kagura rolled her eyes. "He isn't giving anyone anything right now, you need not worry,"
"Who said I was worried!"
Kagura ignored her and smirked.
"Was there a point you wanted to make?" Kagome asked her.
"A point?"
"About male dragons?"
Kaugra popped out her fan as her feet stopped.
"Miko," Sesshomaru snapped,
Kagome turned to see they had made it to the rest of the group, which now, was rather small.
Oregana crossed her arms. "Kaugra I do hope you plan on babysitting," The dragon mate stated.
Kagome's mouth dropped open.
"I am not her keeper, he is," Kaugra looked at Sesshomaru,
"As far as I am concerned none of you exist for the next twenty-four hours," Oregana snapped "Watch her,"
Oregana's eyes moved from Kaugra to Kagome. She then walked to her, bending slightly "Do you think you can be a proper mate and woman for one day Miko?"
Kagome could not believe her ears, her eyes glided to him. But he wasn't saying anything, did he not see her as a proper woman? Of course, she wasn't a proper mate, she didnt want to even be part of this!
So he was back to not defending her honor. She shook her head, did he already forget last night?
The dragon female growled "Wife!"
"Im not your wife!" Kagome yelled "And none of the stuff that has happened has been my fault!"
"Sit, be silent, and stay close to Kaugra, that is all you need to do, I will not save you,"
"I dont need saving,"
The dragon mated looked her up at down "And yet that is all anyone has done this whole trip."
"Didnt want to be here,"
Oregana walked back over to Sesshomaru "I fail to see why you brought her,"
"Enough," He snapped "Kaugra, she will travel with you,"
Kaugra nodded.
Kagome watched as Sesshomaru and Oregana walked away. Then they transformed and took off.
Kaugra watched Kagome's face. She felt Kaugra looking and looked at her "What?"
"I can not tell who hurt your feelings more, the dragon or the dog,"
"I'd have to have feelings first,"
"Oh Miko, you have been hanging around our mate too long, it is most unbecoming of you so stop that,"
Kaugra dropped her feather "Well come on,"
Kagome sighed and hopped on "What about Kio?"
"She is a half breed she can run quite fast,"
Kagura took the sky and Kio followed slightly behind on foot. Kagome peered down, feeling bad.
"She is fine, Miko,"
"I dont see why he is making her come,"
"For you,"
"But didnt I free her?"
"You did-" Kagura stopped talking when she noticed Kagome's face "I do not like the look on your face, Miko,"
Kagome looked at Kaugra "If I can free her, I can free myself,"
Kagura hit Kagome in the head with her fan "You are going to run out of lives Miko! Besides, do you truly want to be free of him?"
"Are you really asking me that!"
No time for a reply. They had arrived. With a snap of her fingers, the feather was gone and Kagome went down with a scream.
Kagura landed and Sesshomaru and Oregana glared at her as a dragon caught Kagome and landed.
"Kaugra!" Kagome groaned. Then with a puff of magic and smoke, Kagome was no longer on the back of a dragon, but in the arms of one and Kagura wasn't kidding when she said they were strong and good-looking.
"I do believe you dropped something," The dragon male spoke. Tall, muscular, dark long hard with dark bangs that were a tad too long. His eyes were dark green with specks of red. Kagome swallowed.
Kaugra was planning, but then, so was Kagome.
The dragon put Kagome down and Kagome bowed "Thank you very much for saving me," She tucked some hair behind her ear.
Kaugra raised an eyebrow. Kio's mouth dropped open. Oregana rolled her eyes and Sesshomaru narrowed his.
Oregana grabbed Kagome's ear "Do not flirt with my brother!" She pushed Kagome back to Kaugra.
Kagome leaned in "This is not going to be a repeat of the whole Naraku thing is it?"
Oregana turned around and glared daggers, her face red, well as red as a dragon's face could get.
Kaugra leaned "No, now behave,"
"You started it."
Kaugra locked arms with Kagome on one side, and Kio locked her arm on the other side.
The gates to the dragon dean opened and in they went.
