Chapter 11: Valatinos cruel deception and the truth
From the last chapter, Millie after falling in love with Moxxie decides to cut ties with Deerie and baby doll ready to start a new happy life as she made it to the other side where Baby Doll sat with a boat tied at the rocks nearby as she carved into wood with a knife "Ah there you are, I have been searching everywhere for you guys, since we got separated" she said nervously as the sinner stared "Sooo got a new dress? A bit of a prim up" she asked as Baby doll glared as she sighed "Look you guys were right we should split so here *Tosses the bag as the necklace slid out* there you go the choker I'll miss you but I think its for the…" started Millie as she walked off but Deerie yanked on her tail "Holding out on us again?" Asked Baby doll walking over dropping the knife stepping over the necklace like garbage "We heard you have something better, something much more valuable then the necklace" she said as Deerie pointed to the waiting Moxxie "We want him instead" said Deerie as Millies eyes widden worried.
Meanwhile Moxxie was waiting for Millie now standing out of the boat looking to where Mille walked off as a figure walked through the fog as he sighed happily "Oh good I thought you left me here and just took off with the necklace" he said…but the figure split into two as it was Baby doll and Deerie "He did" said Baby doll as Moxxie stepped back scared as he saw Angel Dust and Cherry watching as he gesture to stayback scared. There was no way Millie would leave him here "No your wrong! She wouldn't do that!" Said Moxxie not wanting to believe millie abandoned him.
"Oh really?" Asked Baby doll gesturing to the lake "Take a look for yourself" she said as Moxxie did and saw a boat with a familiar figure at the steering wheel "Millie!" He yelled running calling over to Millie but she didnt seem to hear as she steered to the other side of the shore as Moxxie cluched his chest as Deerie touched his hair "A pretty good trade a imp with magic hair" she said greedily touching his hair as he yanked it back "How much do you think people will pay to stay young forever" she said as Moxxie was scared as Baby doll pulled out a sack as Deerie tried to grab him "Please no" he said as he ran off fast as his legs could carry him as Angel dust and Cherry shrunk down as they got on his shoulder to protect him as he tried to leap over a log but his braid got snagged as he tired to get out as he kept a fearful eye out for the two until he heard two loud thuds. "Moxxie?" Said a familiar voice as Moxxie saw Valatino who had knocked out both Deerie and Baby doll as he stood above them as he saw the imp with a smile "Oh my little baby" he said as Moxxie tearfully ran into his arms as he hugged him failing to notice that Valatino was a bit chubby and looked ragged a bit "Oh my precious babe are you hurt?" He asked "No but how did you…" started Moxxie "Oh I was just so worried and when I saw them go after *Seperates* hurry now we better leave before they recover. He said taking off as Moxxie stopped and looked at where he saw Millies ship go as he felt disappointed and betrayed by the imp female that he grew to trust as he noticed a glow as Valatino lighten a lantern holding his arms out to give him a hug that he accepted.
"*Crying* you were right papa…you were right about everything" he said as Valatino gave a secret evil smile "I know babe, I know" he said guiding Moxxie away his flower now forever his again.
Unknown to Moxxie Milie was actually knocked out by Baby doll and Deerie and had been tied up to the ship to make it look like she was steering it but she woke up when she hit the dock on the other end catching the gaze of the guards who saw it "Alfondso the necklace" said Chaz as the head guard saw the necklace tied to Millies hand as she woke up groggy as she didnt know where she was "Moxxie?" She asked slowly getting clarity as she looked around realizing where she was "MOXXIE!" She yelled worried as the guards soon ran and arrested her the scuffle catching Celestes attention as she looked over "Look you got this all wrong! *gets dragged off as she struggled* Moxxie!" She yelled worried for the male imp as Celeste saw her dragged off to the other side of the lake worried as she can feel that Millie had changed and had a bad feeling that Moxxie was in trouble but she needed to get help to save the male imp as she galloped off.
the next morning Millie was in her cell pacing anxious trying to figure out how to get out as she tried to pull the bars out of the window as she heard the cell door open "Lets get this over with Jessie" said Chazz as she was pulled out "Where are we going?" She demanded but noticed Chaz's serious look and pieced it together she was gonna be hanged "Oh right" she said
Meanwhile back in the tower after Valatino sang the song to restore his youth and form he started to undo Moxxie braid and was plucking out the last flower as Moxxie was upset at what had happened "There now, like it never happened" he said picking up his basket from the side as he walked off "Now wash up for dinner, I'm making hazelnut soup" he said as he turned and saw Moxxie still down in the dumps as he sighed "I really did try to warn you Moxxie hun, the world is a dark cold and ruthless place, if it finds even a small ray of sunshine it destroys it, no matter what" he said closing the curtains leaving the room as Moxxie sighed revealing the flag as Angel dust and Cherry still small hugged his side sad for there buddy as they tried to comfort him "Thanks guys, but it cant just wipe away what happend" he said laying flat on his back as he hugged the flag close to his heart as he looked up at the ceiling of him sleeping on the ceiling as it was the first painting he did when he realized his talent…but as he looked at his painting he noticed something a green flower as he looked at the flag in his hand confused as he held it up to the painting and saw it matched…
Leaning up he looked at his other paintings as he saw more green flowers as they glowed a soft green and faded white as his eyes widened as memories of his childhood struck him as he saw the blurry forms of Crimson…a imp that bore a striking resemblance to him, and Emerald, a soft and gently beauty and then when he put on the necklace…how it felt familiar as he wore it as he gasped leaning against his vanity mirror as he cluched a hand to his heart worrying Angel Dust and Cherry as Moxxie pieced it together.
He is the lost heir to the city or was he? If he was then why was he here instead of with his family?
Meanwhile Millie was being lead by the guards to his doom as he looked around and saw Baby Doll and Deerie in a cell shackled by angelic steel to be delt with by a angelic gun as she knocked the guards over with amazing strength and stormed over grabbing Baby doll by the collar "How did you know about him? Tell me now!" She barked "It wasnt us it was some old and fat moth!" Said Deerie scared as she had her powers taken away "Old fat moth?" Questioned Millie confused as she was grabbed by the guards as she was dragged off "Wait stoP! Let me got! He is in trouble! He is in trouble!" Yelled Millie she needs to get free and save Moxxie!
Back at the tower Valatino heard the noise Moxxie made when he came to the conclusion he was the lost heir as he walked back upstairs "Moxxie? What was that noise? Are you ok?" Asked Valatino as Moxxie stepped out of his room in shock "I'm the lost heir" he mumbled wrapping his head around it a bit "Moxxie babe speak up you know I hate mumbling" said Valatino as Moxxie continued down stairs but got angery eyed "I am the lost Heir! Arent i?" Demanded Moxxie as he glared at the moth he called his father as Valatino was shocked at the way Moxxie spoke to him, what happened to his meek and easy to control son "Did I mumble again Father? Or should I even call you that?" He demanded as Valatino snapped out of his super as he laughed "Oh Moxxie do you even hear yourself? Why would you even ask such a redicouls question?" He asked trying to hug Moxxie but he stepped back.
"It was you…all of it was you" said Moxxie piecing it together that Valatino kidnapped him as a baby and kept him all for his power! Valatino frowned seeing he was founded out "Everything I did was to protect you" he said as Moxxie pushed Valatino away and stormed out "Moxxie" said Val but Moxxie interrupted "No, All my life you've kept me locked away in this tower! Hiding me away from people!" He yelled as Val yelled his name running after Moxxie as the imp stepped away "All this time I should have been hiding from you!" Yelled Moxxie realizing the true selfish person was Valatino "Where are you going to go? She wont be coming back for you?" Said Valatno as Moxxie stopped "What did you do to Millie?" Demanded Moxxie worried for her "She will be hanged for her crimes" said Valatino as Moxxie grew sad "No" he whispered as Valatino smiled thinking he got Moxxie where he wanted him "Now, now everything is aright and how it should be" he said trying to pat Moxxie head but he slapped it away. "No! You were wrong about the world! And about me! I am stronger then I can be and I will make sure you will never let you use my hair again!" He yelled shoving Valatino away as he knocked over a mirror as it shattered as Valatino was shocked as Moxxie tried to leave as he growled.
"Alright then, you want me to be the bad guy *Stalked after him* then I am the bad guy" he whispered as he stalked after him.
Authors note: Looks like things are heating up as Valatino tricked Moxxie to come back to him as Millie gets arrested to get hanged and now Moxxie knows he is the heir to the town!
Next chapter is the finale as things come to gather as the thugs from the Gold apple come together to free Millie as a sacrifice from her frees Moxxie from his entrapment.
