I feel the need to address the fact that I wrote FFOL and IOJB as a teenager, and I, as an adult now, do not condone the relationship portrayed in these stories. These are simply the fantasies of a teenage girl, and it is never appropriate in any way for a 17 year old to be in a relationship with a 27 year old.
