Legacies and Lightning: Chapter 3
Konoha training ground (at night): Naruto vs Mizuki
Naruto and Mizuki were running towards each other as they prepared to battle each other; Mizuki began spinning his fuma shiruken in his hand and brought it back as Naruto closed in.
"Take this you damn brat" Mizuki shouted as he sent a slash towards Naruto using it as a melee weapon; Naruto seeing the spinning shuriken coming towards him ducked and slid under the attack and got behind Mizuki.
Naruto reached into his pouch and took out 3 kunai; Naruto charged the kunai with lightning chakra and threw them towards Mizuki who had his back towards him. Mizuki spun around seeing the kunai coming towards him and used his fuma shuriken to block the oncoming projectiles.
This turned out to be a mistake as when the kunai hit the steel shuriken the lighting infused into them discharged into the shuriken; Mizuki was electrocuted as he grit his teeth and felt his muscles contract from the shock.
Naruto seeing that Mizuki was distracted went through hand signs and shouted "Lighting clone jutsu" Naruto shouted as he created 10 clones; Naruto and his clones all charged towards Mizuki just as the shock wore off.
Mizuki seeing Naruto and his clones charing towards him gripped his shuriken and launched it towards Naruto and his clones; the shuriken went off towards the left and cut through 3 clones destroying them as they exploded into lighting.
Naruto continued rushing towards Mizuki along with his seven other clones and as he did so he heard 'whooshing' behind him; Naruto turned just in time to see the fuma shuriken coming back towards him from his right.
Naruto attempted to duck and as he did so the shuriken hit him in the back leaving a eight inch gash from his lower right ribs across to his lower neck; Naruto shouted in pain as he fell tot he ground and the shuriken flew back to Mizuki.
Mizuki smiled at seeing Naruto was down and bleeding but had to refocus on the oncoming lighting clones; Mizuki threw the fuma shuriken again hitting 3 more clones and destroying them.
Final 4 clones closed the distance and attacked Mizuki at close range; one of the clones threw a punch at Mizuki but Mizuki kicked the clone in the chest sending it flying back into another clone. Both clones exploded into lighting and Mizuki focused on another clone; Mizuki threw his shuriken at it at close range hitting it and destroying it.
The fuma shuriken flew at an odd angle and it ended up hitting a tree getting stuck, making Mizuki curse as now he only had one fuma shuriken left.
The last clone got in close and made a hand sign and Mizuki realized what it was doing; Mizuki jumped back as the clone exploded, several stray bolts of lighting hitting his cloths and burning holes in the fabric.
Mizuki landed and was about to reach behind him to grab his back up fuma shuriken when he realized Naruto was back up and now in front of him; Naruto cocked back his right fist and lighting crackled off his glove.
"Take this dick head" Naruto shouted as he threw a punch; Naruto punched Mizuki across the face making him spit up blood and turning his head to the side. Naruto followed up with a kick from his right leg to Mizuki's left knee breaking his stance and sending him to a knee; Naruto using the momentum put both of his hands on the ground and swung his left leg at Mizuki.
Mizuki turned his head around just in time to get hit in the face by the back of Naruto's left heel and being sent flying into a tree; Naruto finished his attack in a hand stand before landing on his feet and looking at Mizuki.
Mizuki got back up his vision wobbling and him swaying side to side; Mizuki spit some blood from his mouth along with several teeth. Mizuki looked to Naruto with a death glare and spoke "you little fucker" Mizuki growled out as he began to spin his shuriken once again "I'm going to fucking kill you".
Mizuki charged at Naruto at full speed and Naruto began to go through hand signs before stopping; Mizuki launched the fuma shuriken at Naruto and Naruto ducked under the shuriken, fell to a knee and pointed his right hand at Mizuki extending his index and middle finger.
"Lighting Style: Lightning Bolt" Naruto fired a lighting bolt that transformed into a ball of electricity that went to Mizuki who was too close to avoid it; the lightning jutsu hit him and began to shock him freezing him in place.
Naruto was about to rush in and attack Mizuki until he heard a familiar noise behind him; Naruto turned and saw Mizuki's fuma shuriken coming back and he fell tot he ground as it passed over him. Naruto looked to Mizuki and saw he was still in place and had no way to stop it.
"Mizuki look out" Naruto shouted; when the electrocution stopped Mizuki was on his last legs and couldn't focus due to the pain. He opened his eyes and the last thing he saw was his fuma shuriken coming towards him.
The shuriken sliced through Mizuki's neck as his head was sent sailing into the air and landed a few feet away; the shuriken hit a tree a few yards behind Mizuki and stuck into it. Mizuki's headless corpse fell to it's knees as blood began to gush from it's neck like some kind of sick fountain.
Naruto got to his feet and began to shake at the sight and hold his stomach; Naruto turned to his side and vomited. Naruto puked up the ramen he ate no more than 30 minutes ago and once he was done he was wide eyed as he looked at the headless corpse of Mizuki kneeling like it was praying.
"Oh Kami, oh Kami, oh Kami" Naruto said huffing and breathing heavy "I-I killed him…"; Naruto walked over to the corpse of Mizuki and felt uneasy. Naruto gave the corpse a quick kick knocking it over and onto it's back "I-I need to… I need to go to Ji-ji" he said; Naruto then remembered what Mizuki said.
'Wait, the fox, he's been hiding it from me the whole time' Naruto thought as he revulsion turned to anger and he looked over to Mizuki's head and walked over; Naruto picked up the head by the hair and then walked over to the fuma shuriken in the tree. Naruto reached up and pulled it out and felt the weight of the weapon 'dang, this thing must be like ten pounds' he thought.
Naruto began to walk towards the Hokage tower with Mizuki's head and weapon in tow and a scowl on his face 'I'm going to get some answers' he thought.
Hokage council chamber: with Hiruzen
The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi was an old man in a young mans world; he was well into his 70's and should be retired by now but instead he was Hokage due to the death of the previous owner of the hat.
His tired and wrinkled face showed how much he just wished for his day to be over; however the shinobi and civilian council was not letting him go. Danzo, Koharu, Homura and the others were all griping to him once again about a reoccurring issue; how to screw over Naruto.
"We should not allow this to happen Lord Third" Homura said as he looked at the aged Hokage "Naruto is only nine years old and should not become a genin so soon; he's a valuable military asset and should be kept in the academy". Homura was an old friend of Hiruzen and one of the leaders of the civilian side of the council.
"I agree with Homura" Koharu said "Naruto should be left in the academy; we only do these tests in order to make the children more motivated, we never expected them to pass". Koharu was another one of Hiruzen's old friends who was also on the council.
"And why should he and not a member of a notable clan pass" Hiashi said; Hiashi was the head of the Hyuga clan and was by far the one head that he detested the most. He's not sure which he hated more his mental abuse of his eldest daughter, his superiority complex or the fact his clan practices slavery among their own clan members.
"Naruto passed the test fair and square" Hiruzen said with a tired sigh "he did every test as it should be and showed he was more than capable; remember Kakashi graduated at five an Itachi at seven, years younger than Naruto". "He's going to become a genin and I will see to it that he does" Hiruzen said "he's earned it after all the abuse and hatred from this village".
"That brat is a plague on this village" a civilian council member shouted "he has that thing inside him; if we let him become a ninja who knows what'll happen, he might start killing the villagers".
Hiruzen hearing this slammed his hand onto the desk and shouted "Naruto's condition is not a danger to us damn it; other than a few assaults and minor property damage, which was completely justified responses, Naruto has not hurt anyone in this village". "Naruto is a good boy who keeps getting dealt shitty hands by the likes of you and this council" Hiruzen said "and Naruto will never kill anyone from this village, I bet my life on it".
Suddenly the doors to the council room were kicked open and Naruto along with 2 anbu walked in; everyone looked at Naruto in horror as they saw he was holding the head of Mizuki one of the academy instructors and one of his fuma shuriken.
Naruto walked in front of Hiruzen dropped the head onto the ground and pointed at Hiruzen "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE; THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT" Naruto shouted at the top of his lungs "I have a demon fox in me, that's why I'm treated like crap; and Mizuki just tried to kill me, why didn't i get any help".
Hiruzen looked at the anbu and shouted "what the hell is going on here" he shouted and a cat masked female anbu walked up.
"Lord Hokage, Naruto walked up to the tower holding Mizuki's head and telling us he was attacked" the female anbu said "I sent half of my squad to investigate where Naruto said the attack happened; we found Mizuki's body in training ground eight". "From the wound on Naruto's back and the fact that Mizuki was in full battle gear; it has come to my conclusion that Mizuki attacked Naruto and Naruto killed him" she said and Naruto spoke up.
"Actually he killed himself; with his own weapon" Naruto said holding up the fuma shuriken.
"Hot damn kid; you took out a chunin at nine years old " Tsume Inuzuka, the leader of the Inuzuka clan said impressed while petting her dog Kuromaru "not to shabby; I say he's definitely genin material"; Naruto looked at her and smiled.
"Thanks pretty dog lady" Naruto said before he turned back to Hiruzen; Tsume chuckled as she looked to her side at Shikaku Nara the leader of the Nara clan.
"Pretty dog lady; he thinks I'm pretty" Tsume said and Shikaku rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Kids had a tough night from the sound of it; he's probably not thinking straight" Shikaku said before getting punched in the gut by Tsume and began to cough "t-that came out wrong".
"Why did you hide the fox from me huh; why would it be so dangerous" Naruto shouted and Hiruzen spoke.
"I did it to protect you Naruto" Hiruzen said "there is a lot of factors outside the village that-".
"I was attacked inside the village all the time" Naruto shouted interrupting him "i got jumped plenty of times by drunk villagers, my home has been smashed up, and even sold food at ridiculously high prices". "And it's the civilians who were always doing it; it was never any ninja" Naruto shouted "so why huh, why hide it from me".
"Hold your tongue brat" a fat councilman shouted "you should be grateful that we even allow a monster like you in our-"; Naruto in a fit of rage threw the fuma shuriken at the council man. However the fuma shuriken hit the desk in front of him making the man piss his pants.
"Shut up pig" Naruto said in a growl before looking at Hiruzen "stay away out of my life; you made it hard enough already".
Naruto walked out of the council room and the fat civilian spoke up "I-I should arrest that brat for attempting to-" the man did not finish his sentence as a figure appeared in front of him. Danzo Shimura, the reaper of Konoha was in front of him.
Danzo was an older man with one eye covered in bandages and one arm in a sling; he was an old man in no condition for battle but still able to defend himself. Danzo readied out and grabbed the fuma shuriken and pulled it out of the desk; Danzo spun it around like a saw blade and used it to cut off the civilians head from his shoulders.
Everyone but Hiruzen was shocked by this and Hiruzen spoke up "what are you doing Danzo" he said and Danzo turned to him with a passive look.
"My job, Hiruzen" Danzo was as he walked with the fuma shuriken in his hand towards the door "cleaning up your mistakes". "Don't worry old friend" Danzo said as he began to walk out "I'll just give him a little nudge in the right direction".
A few hours later; Naruto's apartment: With Naruto
Naruto was in his apartment and laying down on his bed looking up at the ceiling; Naruto was still pissed at Hiruzen for keeping the nine tails a secret from him. His life was a lonely hell and he didn't know why, and now that he did know he felt even more lonely; how many people knew about it, the civilians, the academy instructors.
Naruto's list of trusted people went from six to five; Teuchi and Ayame were the only people he had in Konoha while Yuui, Uzui and Doki were back in Kumo and he hasn't seen them in a year. Naruto truly felt there was no one he could trust.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Naruto got up while grabbing a kunai 'what is it now' Naruto thought as he got to the door 'isn't one assassination attempt enough for one night'.
Naruto opened the door while holding the kunai behind his back and saw a man who was wrapped in bandages like a mummy; Naruto recognized him from the council meeting as he was sitting next to Hiruzen.
"What do you want" Naruto said with a scowl but Danzo kept his cool.
"May I come in" Danzo asked and Naruto shook his head.
"No, now go away before-" Naruto began but Danzo used his cane to hit Naruto in the nose making him tear up and stumble back.
"That was a rhetorical question" Danzo said before walking in and Naruto glared at him "do you know why Hiruzen kept the secret from you". Naruto looked at him with a glare while rubbing his nose.
"To 'protect me' or something like that" Naruto said and Danzo shook his head.
"He did it because he didn't want you to become a weapon; he cared about you too much" Danzo said and Naruto went wide eyed "if I had it my way you'd be under my command and would've been trained from birth to become a super soldier, a true ninja". "Let me dispel any notions about being a ninja boy; there is no glory or honor, there is no truth or loyalty" Danzo said and Naruto went wide eyed "look at me boy, I gave my life and limbs for this village; and when I did I was cast aside, like a broken tool".
"What are you getting at" Naruto said and Danzo spoke again.
"You are only respected by the village if you are useful to them; take Sakumo Hatake, a great and powerful ninja, betrayed because he decided to save his comrades over completing a mission" Danzo said as he looked at Naruto with his one good eye "he committed suicide, because for it, leaving his son behind because the village that preached love and unity abandoned him". "So my word of advice to you boy is to always be useful, that is what will keep you alive in this village" Danzo said before reaching behind himself and grabbing the fuma shuriken Naruto took from Mizuki; Danzo threw it at Naruto's feet and it stuck in front into the floor "keep it, it's a good weapon; and a reminder".
Danzo began to walk to the door but Naruto spoke up "why did you come to tell me this" he asked and Danzo stopped.
"Hiruzen has made a lot of mistakes in his life; Orochimaru, Itachi, even the death of his wife" Danzo said as he turned around and looked at Naruto with a death glare "I came here to see if you were another one; and if you were I'd just kill you now before we have another 'situation' on our hands". Naruto gulped at this and Danzo eased up his glare "but it seems like that won't be necessary" he said "one day, your going to need power; and when that time arrives… come and find me".
Danzo walked out the door and Naruto ran over and saw him descending the stairs "oh and boy" he said stopping one last time before turning and looking at him "I know about your friendship with the Raikage's daughter".
Naruto froze at this and Danzo turned around and began to walk away "I'm always watching boy, tread carefully" he said as he walked away.
Naruto stood there clenching his fists feeling all kinds of emotions; anger, fear, resentment, understanding… all of it was swirling around inside his head and Naruto didn't know what to think.
'I guess… I'll talk to Ji-ji tomorrow' Naruto thought as he walked back inside his apartment; upon doing so he saw the fuma shuriken still stuck in the floor. Naruto walked over and pulled it out before he spun it slowly around his wrist like a saw blade 'I guess this can be useful' he thought.
Meanwhile unseen by him Hiruzen was in his office looking through his crystal ball at Naruto and saw the entire interaction between him and Danzo; Hiruzen had mixed feelings about this as he knew Danzo was sincere about his words, but also he didn't want Naruto to lean towards Danzo. Hiruzen has know Danzo for years and he won't let Danzo turn Naruto into a heartless weapon; he had to do something to keep Naruto 'in the light'.
Hiruzen reached into desk and pulled out 2 scrolls 'I was saving this for later… but I guess I should do it now, before it's too late' he thought.
The next day; Hokage tower: With Naruto
Naruto was walking up the stairs towards the Hokage's office as he was summoned by Hiruzen himself; Naruto looked the same as usual but he wore his forehead protector on his forehead and had Mizuki's fuma shuriken tied on his back being held on by some rope he had lying around.
Naruto had mixed feelings inside him, he didn't want to see Hiruzen but he also wanted to know what he wanted to tell him.
As Naruto finished going up the stairs he walked over to the Hokage's door and opened it without knocking; Hiruzen looked up and smiled "Naruto my boy; I'm happy to see you" he said.
"Save it Ji-ji" Naruto said with a scowl "there is nothing you can say or do that can make me forgive you; I may even hate you for the rest of my life".
Hiruzen hearing this spoke "not even if I give you a lightning jutsu scroll and a scroll written to you by your dead mother" he said as he raised up 2 scrolls. One had the kanji for 'lighting: level two' and the other had the name 'Uzumaki on it'.
Naruto hearing this immediately ran over wide eyed and spoke "except for that" Naruto said as he took both scrolls and looked at them "Ok, I won't hate you; but I'm still mad".
"Look Naruto… I'm sorry" Hiruzen said with a sigh "I was trying to help you live a semi-normal life; and it looks like I failed". "But I ask that you understand my reasoning; what you hold inside you is something out of your control" Hiruzen said "in your body is a weapon of mass destruction; and there are plenty of people who'd want to get their hands on it". "I was even worried that those Kumo people you met might want to kidnap you like they tried to do to… another poor girl a couple years ago" Hiruzen said making Naruto go wide eyed; Hiruzen remembered when Kumo attempted to kidnap Hinata when she was 3 years old. And the fact that A the fourth Raikage came to the village to mend relations after what his father the third Raikage did is a testimony as to how much Kumo changed in just six years.
"You knew about that; since when" Naruto asked and Hiruzen chuckled.
"Since Doki came to inform me and Lord Raikage; I gave him permission to attack the people the destroyed your apartment" Hiruzen said "I kept a few anbu nearby to watch over you to make sure you were safe; and it looks like my worries were for nothing". "They were very nice people; I especially thought it was funny when you and that Yuui girl went around the village pulling pranks on the villagers" Hiruzen said and Naruto chuckled.
"Wow… so you knew; why didn't you say something" Naruto asked and Hiruzen smiled.
"You were happy with them, and that's all that mattered" Hiruzen said "I hope you understand Naruto, I did none of this out of malice; I did this to protect you, even if you don't see it that way". "I can only tell you about your mother because that's a secret that won't affect you" Hiruzen said "but if I told you about your father… you'd be dead within the year; he had a lot of enemies who would love nothing more than to see you dead".
Naruto hearing this nodded and sighed "ok Ji-ji; I understand" Naruto said as he looked at the 2 scrolls; Naruto wanted to tear open his mothers scroll and read what it held but Naruto frowned. "I don't think I'm ready yet; too much in such a short time" Naruto said and Hiruzen nodded.
"It's your decision Naruto; and I will respect it" Hiruzen said "are we ok now".
"It's a start… just don't hide things from me anymore" Naruto said and Hiruzen nodded.
"I'll try Naruto, but there are something's I won't be able to" Hiruzen said and Naruto looked at him "there are some things and people out there that you are not ready to hear about".
"Alright… i get it" Naruto said and Hiruzen got up and walked over to Naruto; Hiruzen patted Naruto on the shoulder and smiled.
"I'm glad to hear that Naruto" Hiruzen said "now then, time for what I called you in here for"; Naruto looked at Hiruzen in confusion.
"Huh? It wasn't for the apology" Naruto asked and Hiruzen shook his head.
"No, I planned this meeting so I can get you started with your ninja training; but it seems like Mizuki put a giant roadblock in my plans" Hiruzen said in annoyance 'If my plans did go the way I wanted to Naruto would've found out about the fox from me and learned about his parents when he was a chunin'. "Anyway; I am here to tell you that you will be getting two mentors" Hiruzen said and Naruto went wide eyed.
"Woah really; what're they like" Naruto asked and Hiruzen chuckled.
"Well they are two up incoming Kunoichi chunin who are going are training for the rank of jonin; so I want to give them one more lesson before they get it" Hiruzen said with a smile; suddenly there was a knock at the door "and here she is now; come in". The door opened up and 3 people walked in all women.
One was a purple haired woman around 18 or 19 eating a stick of dango; she wore a trench coat, short skirt and a tight fishnet shirt showing her curves. If Naruto had a word for her it'd be 'sexy'.
The second was a woman around 20 to 21 with raven hair and red eyes; she wore a black shirt under her chunin vest, red pants and had a look of elegance to her. Naruto would describe her as 'beautiful'.
And the last one wasn't a woman but a girl around his age who as hiding behind the black haired woman with a nervous look; she had pale skin, brown hair, brown eyes, wore a pink kimono and red pants and has fishnet armor under her shirt. Naruto would describe her as 'cute'.
Hello Anko, Kurenai, little Yakumo; how are you three lovely ladies doing today" Hiruzen said with a warm tone in his voice.
"Not to bad old man; how about you" Anko said before Kurenai looked at her.
"Anko, show some respect" Kurenai chastised and Anko shrugged; Kurenai looked to Hiruzen and bowed "I apologize for my friend Lord Third; she's still as brash as ever".
"Hahaha, no problem Kurenai" Hiruzen said "so do you know why I called you both here".
"Um… something about a joint mission" Anko said before looking to the chair across from Hiruzen and saw Naruto "who's the shrimp". Naruto got a tic mark and got up.
"I'm Naruto, not 'shrimp' lady" Naruto said and Anko smirked.
"Oh ho; kid's got some fire in him" Anko said while chewing on her skewer "scram kid; we have a mission to do".
"He is your mission Anko" Hiruzen said shocking Anko "Naruto here passed the genin exam yesterday and we have no free jonin to train him; so as a jonin in training I decided that you should train him and gain some experience".
"WHAT! Are you kidding me" Anko shouted and Naruto and Yakumo covered their ears "you expect me to baby sit him".
"Anko; Lord Hokage has given you a task and you will do it" Kurenai said and Hiruzen nodded.
"Yes she will; and you Kurenai will help her" Hiruzen said and Kurenai looked at him wide eyed "you have been training lady Yakumo here for about… four months now; so you will assist her in training Naruto". "I believe with Anko's toughness and your gentle hand, you both will help each other in the fields where you need help" Hiruzen said "Is that acceptable".
"Y-yes Lord Hokage" Kurenai said 'but I've been struggling with Yakumo; how will I be able to help Anko out when I-'. Kurenai was mid thought when she realized Naruto was in front of her looking around her and seeing Yakumo trying to hide.
"Hey hows it going" Naruto said with a bright and sheerful smile "I'm Naruto, I just graduated the academy; do you wanna be my friend". Yakumo hearing this peeked out from behind Kurenai and spoke.
"F-friend…me" Yakumo said and Naruto nodded vigorously "sure, that sounds nice"; upon hearing that Naruto got excited and reached around and grabbed her. Naruto pulled her from behind Kurenai and gave her a hug.
"Yay, I made a friend" Naruto cheered; Yakumo blushed from the contact while, Kurenai and Hiruzen chuckled at the scene. Kurenai looked at the blonde boy and had a thought.
'Maybe him being around Yakumo wouldn't be so bad' Kurenai thought with a smile.
Anko however was looking at Naruto, or more specifically his back; Naruto's fuma shuriken was giving Anko a case of Deja vu and she spoke up.
"Hey kid, where did you get that weapon" Anko asked and Naruto looked at her.
"Oh this" Naruto was as he reached behind himself and grabbed the shuriken "I got it from Mizuki, my former academy instructor, after he tried to kill me yesterday"; hearing this Yakumo's mouth dropped and both Anko and Kurenai looked at him analyzing him.
"Mizuki, the academy instructor tried to kill you" Kurenai said and Naruto nodded "what happened".
"We fought in a training ground and I killed him; or to be more accurate he killed himself with his own weapon" Naruto said before dragging his finger across his neck and sticking his tongue out.
Anko looked at Naruto before looking at the Hiruzen "is this true Lord Third" she asked and Hiruzen nodded "my Kami…". Anko looked at Naruto and spoke "you're not the shit stain of a brat I thought you were" she said as she walked over and wrapped her arm around him "welcome to the team kid".
"Uh… thanks, I guess" Naruto said and Hiruzen spoke up.
"Alright then; Anko, Kurenai, here is your mission" Hiruzen said and they both looked to him "train Naruto and Yakumo for a two years; at the end of the two years if they made improvements I will promote the both of you to jonin". Both women perked up at this and Hiruzen continued "you will also receive the equivalent of a C-rank mission payment every month as compensation" he said sweetening the deal.
"Well why didn't you lead with that" Anko said as she grabbed Naruto's hand "come on kid; we got some stuff to do".
Naruto was being dragged out by Anko and he turned and spoke "bye Ji-ji" Naruto said as he left the room; Kurenai and Yakumo both bowed and left the room as well leaving Hiruzen as they closed the door.
"So what are you planning Danzo" Hiruzen said and Danzo stepped out from the shadows like a phantom; Danzo arrived mid conversation with Naruto and neither Naruto, Kurenai or Anko seemed to have sensed him. "I told you once, so I told you a thousand times; Naruto will never be under your command" Hiruzen said with a glare.
"We'll see about that old friend" Danzo said as he began to walk out "even you have to see that the boy will never be at his full potential while just being trained by those women; he'll need more power… power I can give him".
"Naruto will never fall for what you are selling him" Hiruzen said and Danzo looked at him with a passive look.
"We'll see" Danzo said as he began to walk again "all he needs… is one bad day"; Danzo left the room leaving Hiruzen alone and Hiruzen sighed.
'Damn it… maybe I should've killed Danzo when I had the chance' Hiruzen thought before his mind went to other places; he remembered Orochimaru, Itachi and all the other mistakes he made 'along with a lot of other things I should've done'.
Hiruzen began to start on more paper work as Naruto was now off with his new mentors and friend.
