The group finally made it up the mountain, they got out of the van to climb the rest of the way up. When reached the top they all gasped in amazement at the sight in front of them. "Woah! What is this place?" Sandy asked in awe.

"I...I think this is where they originally split the Samadhi Fire." Tang said also in awe, looking around.

"Uh, hey guys?" Sandy piped up, gaining everyone else's attention. "Does anyone else feel like...we've been here before."

"Now that you mention it, it does feel like I've seen this place...a long time ago," Tang hummed with a frown, walking up the stairs to the altar--Mei, Pigsy, Macaque, Rumble and Savage trailing behind him and inspecting the table-like stone carving.

Then Mei approached Pigsy. "Pigsy, earlier you said something about a fourth ring, but that was just and accident right? A slip of the tongue?" Mei asked the pig demon.

"Uh, yeah, maybe?" Pigsy replied looking away.

"maybe? What's 'maybe' supposed to mean?" MK asked feeling confused.

"I mean 'maybe' Monkey King is not as trustworthy as you think MK, think about it, he told us he had a plan, but we don't know what it is, he told us there were three rings, but maybe...there's a fourth. He told us that map was important, but it hasn't been useful once this whole trip!" Pigsy listing out everything.

"I thought it was going to be more important than this,it has to be, right?" The shadow monkey noticed the scholar was placing the map down.

"Tang don't!" Macaque called out but it was too late, Placing the map down on the stone table to get a better look at it.

Tang yelped when the markings around the ritual site began to glow a brilliant gold, Mei flinching upon the sudden noise.

"Uh. okay, yep, looks like it's definitely important!" MK yelped, immediately scooping Rumble and Savage up into her arms, backing away.

"Tang!" Pigsy shouted up at his husband, "What did you do?!"

"Nothing!" The college teacher shouted back, panicking as he tried to find a way to 'shut off' the glowing marks. "I only put the map down on the altar!"

"Oh, so a piece of paper just magically made a bunch of lights?!"

"That's exactly what happened and you know it!!"

"Guys? The rings are doing something!" MK shouted as the rings floated into the air onto their own positions. Golden light shot out from the sky as the others stared up at the light, A painful screech was heard, with Mei collapsing to the floor as she held her chest tightly.

"Mei!" The group all yelped, Tang grabbing the map as he and everyone ran from the altar and towards the dragon girl. "Mei, are you okay?" Savage asked her.

"I dunno, i-it's so H-hot..." Mei whimpered, trying to take her coat off. "What do we do?!" Tang asked, panicking looking down at Mei who was in pain.

"Don't worry, guys. I'm sure that both Monkey King is on his way," MK said, trying to keep everyone calm.

Suddenly, a rumble was heard and they turned to see giant ice shards and spikes shooting out everywhere, and they heard a strange and familiar laugh.

"I'm sorry to say, but I think this is the end of the road." The fake mayor voice appeared behind them. and with a wave of his hand, ice encased Sandy, Pigsy, Rumble and Savage leaving only their heads uncovered. "Kids!" Macaque cried out, rushing over to try and break his clones out.

Growling, MK was about to fight, but she stopped. "Ah, ah, ah, I wouldn't do that if I were you," The false mayor turned his arm into sharp ice, and he was pointing at Mei's neck. "Scholar, I want you to finish the ritual." said the mayor as he headed towards the center where the rings are.

"No! I won't do it!" Tang yelled.

"But you don't have a choice in the matter, You finish the ritual or," The false mayor tightened his grip around her neck, causing her to gag. "I'll snap her pretty little neck."

"No, wait!"

Tang began to tear up, whimpering he knew he has no choice. "Alright! I'll do it..."
