The next day of the vytal festival came…and i saw jaune and pyrrha holding hands. Nora and ren might not be happy with me. But you can't argue the results. Team jpde came back from their final peak investigation…thing's didn't go well. To put it simply. It was a trap. They played right into weser's hand. And because of that. The long forgotten god of fire now has a human body, And is walking remnant….that's a massive issue to make matters worse. None of them knew where the bastards went. So that's another problem. But one that couldn't be handled now. As for right now. Team jpde has their matched against team ndgo.

"Damn! Talk about fate folks! Team jpde and team ndgo has some history! Octavia got on evelyn's nerves. Dew gave jack a beating. And trust me does not take L's very well. And david and gwen went on a date once." i said. That last thing triggering the ndgo simps…they got a lot of fans considering they never lost yet…something tells me that's about to change. Penny giggled when i said that.

"I was gonna expose that…but kairudo beat me to it." penny said while laughing. Team jpde took the first blow thanks to the diversion.

"That's not fair! You had the announcer on your side!" nebula yelled.

"I won't deny i'm routing them cause their my friends. But if that's enough to gwen flustered. She will not survive in a room with evelyn." i said. Jack took a swing at nebula.

"She's not wrong. I am quite the tease!" evelyn yelled. David was up against dew. Figured. She seemed interested in fighting david for a while. He's a complete rookie. But since the start of the year. He's gotten quite a few tricks. I looked over to penny and gwen's fight. Clearly penny wasn't happy with that date. Even though she got evelyn's permission. Something tells me she didn't tell penny that. However penny's anger quickly turned to fear when gwen used her semblance. I don't know what it is. But clearly it was not enough to cause penny to run out of the ring. Causing her to be defeated by ring out. I saw kary follow her. After that evelyn played dirty by claiming that most of penny's body is prosthetic. I mean. She's not technically wrong. Still it was because that i found out what got penny so freaked out. Gwen can turn any inanimate object into a bomb. But still because of that it's now 4 on 3. Evelyn had to take on gwen and octavia by herself. And david ain't doing so well against dew. Despite gaining the ability to use his aura to increase his muscle mass. That doesn't really help you much against someone who's semblance can make you spit up blood. And evelyn just continues being evelyn. Getting under gwen and octavia's skin despite having her back against the wall with her aura nearly in the red.

"Have you ever cooked on a gas stove?" evelyn asked.

"Will you take this seriously already!?" gwen yelled. Utterly annoyed and pissed at evelyn for her silly antics.

"You can't make a silly rabbit take anything seriously, gwen…best not to try." i said.

"Anyway. Guess you haven't, ever since fire dust has become cheaply available. Everyone's using dust stoves. But in certain areas. It's still more convenient to bottle up natural gas than importing fire dust. My home was one such area." evelyn said. Both mine and jack's eyes widened as we realized where this was going…octavia has been complaining about the smell of rotten eggs during the whole match. And as evelyn explained. Folks who work with it add an addictive that makes it smell like rotten eggs or sulfur so that they would notice a leak. And with the knife that bounced off evelyn's head. Knocking her aura to the red. And because of gwen's semblance. I hid under the desk of the commentary room out of reflex. I know I'm safe from the oncoming boom boom. But like I said…reflex.

"And considering the smell how strong the smell is here! WHEW! They've recreated a volcanic hot spring to the biggest pocket of gas!" evelyn said. Octavia and gwen started freaking out as they knew that gwen's knife thanks to her semblance. Is now the detonator for a massive explosion. One they have no chance of getting away from.

"But seriously? Your entire semblance is making flammable gas and you've never tried to learn anything about it? Even after you quite prize fighting?" evelyn said with her tongue sticking out. I can tell from jack's face that she's thinking that carrots is a maniac.

"Lady of storm, rain of death, queen of blade's…whatever, don't fuck with the top bunny morons." evelyn said with a smug grin as the explosion came sending both gwen and octavia flying out of the arena in a blast of flames.

"Damn! Don't fuck with the top bunny indeed. She's crazier than the bunny who guards the cave in that monty python movie." i said.

"Oh it's just a harmless little bunny isn't it?" professor peach asked imitating tim the enchanter.

"Anyway. With evelyn taking a page out of her boyfriend's book and pulling a kamikaze move. Gwen and octavia are now out! Thanks to ring out and aura exhaustion. So now it's two on two. Will ndgo win yet again! Or will team jpde become legendary by being the ones to finally end their winning streak! Let's find out folks!" i yelled and i soon figured out what dew's semblance is. She has control over everything that has flows. Including bloodflows. Which explains what she did. But what came next was a fight for the history books.

"S-such passion. Such skill! Such usage of dust! We thought it was already written history! The scrappy inbetweeners versus the fan favorites! And yet through perseverance and ingenuity, team JADE has done the impossible!" peach yelled.

"She's really gotten into this." i whispered to glynda.

"I'm honestly scared to cutting in right now." glynda whispered.

"They possibly brought the possibility of defeat to the invincible NDGO!" peach yelled. Jack soon began to charge up her kinetic energy as david wrapped his whip around the two girls. However the only two who would be left in the ring would be david and dew. As nebula dragged herself and jack out of the ring.

"Oof. with that sacrifice play. David and dew are the only two left in the ring. David has been the underdog the entire time he's been here. Time to show just how hot that fire within has lit up!" I yelled. And it looked like david was ready to go all out. He used the same trick to increase his muscle mass and the only semblance that he's replicated that he hadn't shown yet…pyrrha's. Catching dew off guard and leaving her open for a storm of fiery punches to the face that would make yang proud it was over.

"It's over! Holy shit that was fucking intense!" peach yelled.

"Professor peach!" glynda yelled in a chiding manner.

"Can't say I blame her! Boy the ndgo fans are gonna be pissed about this! But for all of us who don't have a girl on that team that we want to get in bed with! I'm sure we can all agree that this was one hell of a fight. Team ndgo's winning streak has finally come to an end! And team JADE will not be forgotten. By the ndgo fans who are no doubt out for their blood! Or all the other folks who saw their victory threw one EPIC battle! This is one for the history books folks. Now will some paramedics come on down. I'm sure all of them are hurting like hell!" i yelled. Luckily the team has a day and a half to rest. But there's still the issue of penny…

Kary pov.

"What the hell happened!?" I yelled. She wanted to be a part of a team. She wanted to make her three way relationship with that boy and rabbit work! She wanted to fight in this tournament.

"When gwen grabbed me...she didn't just effect my body. She affected my core!" penny yelled utterly terrified…i see. That's the thing about me ciel and penny. If our bodies get destroyed. Well we can just have our core moved to a new one. Courtesy of enrico. But if the core gets destroyed…then we're goners. It seemed like Penny wasn't afraid of death until now. Because of that safety net we have…I think it was some tough love.

"Get a grip!" i yelled as I slapped her across the face. "So what? Because your safety net is no longer a guarantee you're gonna sit here sucking your thumb while your team continues without you? David, evelyn, jack, team RWBY, they've come close to death themselves but they don't let that stop them. They keep going! David made it clear to me that he would gladly give his life to save you. And if that isn't prime boyfriend material. I don't know what will. Hell he was persistent on having your big sis giving both you and him my blessing. That guy can be quite stubborn when it comes to you or evelyn. But I digress. Your team needs you penny. And if you're going to let this fear control you. Then you might as well say goodbye and head back to atlas, because like this. You're useless to them. And your cowardice is only going to get them killed." i said. I then walked away.

Penny pov.

I'm such an idiot…big sis kary is right. They've been risking their lives this whole time and unlike me. They don't have crystal souls. They can't just move it into a new body like we can…yet they still risked their lives…i refuse to be useless! I refuse to let them down! I refuse to let this fear be the cause of their deaths! So i ran back to the arena. David was about to face roux and myriam of team thnd.

"Penny. I can do this alone. You don't have to…" david said i put my finger to his mouth.

"It's alright…i'm no longer afraid." i said. He smiled and we both headed into the arena.

"It looks like penny has regained her courage! Good work kary! Now their opponents are clyde roux and Myiram rot! I really hope david and penny kick their asses! Considering team thnd kind of fell apart because clyde failed to realize this isn't atlas! His team isn't soldiers! And just because he's the leader doesn't mean his teammates have to blindly do what he says! I don't wish the same to myriam but roux is a dipshit that needs to be humbled hard in my opinion!" kairudo yelled.

"I don't need to be humbled." roux said.

"I'm sorry." i said.

"Your apologizing? Why?" roux asked.

"I should fight fair…but to be honest." i said as i revved up my power…i'm just not in the mood for this shit. "I really really really don't want to." i said…well kairudo you wanted me to kick their asses…how's this for an ass kicking? When i was done. Both myriam and roux were down for the count smoking. Kairudo soon whistled.

"Gods damn! I wanted them to get their asses kicked. Was not expecting penny to straight up destroy them. This is why wise men fear the anger of a gentle man folks! The nicest people are the most vicious when they're mad! Anyway team jpde wins through aura exhaustion…i say aura exhaustion but that was more like utter destruction. Play some heavy day over that! Because they were DESTROYED!" kairudo yelled laughing. I smiled…i'm back.

Kairudo pov.

As i was walking across the vytal festival. I went to get some food. I went to a bar and grill. Only to immediately get a steak.

"But i didn't even order yet." i said.

"The woman upstairs ordered it for you." the waitress said. The steak was hot as it was fresh off the grill so i decided to pay who it was that bought it before i ate. I went up stairs and saw a woman with long black hair that looked like yang…this was her mother…raven branwen.

"Hello…demon of vale." she said...this is going to be one of those days isn't it?
