The last few weeks had been hell for Harry, he needed to do every chore at a specific time or face consequences like not getting any meals at all, or getting locked in his room for days. Harry was hoping that Amelia could somehow get him out of here, but he didn't think that there were much hope before the end of the summer, were Dumbledore would probably just put him with the Weasleys or as Harry hoped with Amelia and Susan.
As Harry were doing his daily chores, suddenly the door bell rang and Aunt Petunia barked out " Potter, go get the door." Harry opened the door to see Dumbledore standing there with a letter in his hand. He told Petunia. " Petunia I am deeply disappointed in you for your actions against your own nephew." And then he walked forward and gave Petunia the letter as she looked completely shocked. Petunia quickly read the letter and said. " Yes, Dumbledore you can take the boy away from us."
She said that meanwhile having what looked like an evil smile on her face. Dumbledore nodded and told a bewildered Harry to take his things, so they could leave from here. When Harry heard that he very quickly packed his things, and he and Dumbledore left the house. After they had walked for a few minutes, Dumbledore asked Harry how bad it was at the Dursleys and Harry answered. " It was pretty bad professor, they never really gave me much food and I slept in a cupboard for the first 10 years there." Dumbledore just nodded sadly and looked the other way and said to Harry " Harry, my boy if you just told me this earlier, the I would have gotten you out of there before the summer."
Harry just sadly told Dumbledore that he never seriously trusted any adult before this, and that was why he never told anyone of how bad it really was. Dumbledore looked sadly back at Harry and nodded and then told him that " Harry, I was planning to take you straight to Amelia, is that okay with you?" Harry suddenly looked much happier and said " Yes, professor that is fine." Dumbledore nodded and took them to a location where no one could see them, and apperated Harry and himself the closest he could to the Bones Manor. " Well, Harry this is were we part ways, the manor is under a kilometer straight forwards, and Amelia said that she would stand at the edge of the wards of the manor and wait for you." Harry nodded and began walking towards the housa as Dumbledore apperated away.
