Part 2 - Daniel's POV of the Phone-Call
Daniel with the others of his team that he had been lucky to team up with, was those who had helped him when it came to the Hollow Man case, which turned out to be about a man who is still on the loose but on their list of most wanted to this day, that had cancer and was trying to get what he needed to "cure" his cancer sort.
Luckily they had saved the latest woman he had abducted whilst she was also 7 months pregnant, now months later, he had been invited to the same team that had tried to help him in his own case at the station he worked at, and was now a member, and he was rather happy to be apart of it, as he gave inside of what it could be like for a Native like himself, being at work like this, and also on the victim's side.
As he sat there thinking on it, all the sudden all of them quieten down, when he phone went off, he excused himself from the room, not noticing that his boss, Remy came after him, as Barnes had seen his look of confusion of the said number that called to his phone, and so while standing his back against his boss; he answered it;
"Hawkseyes Speaking." And he heard a gasp of someone female on the other line, and he said again;
"Hello, who is this?" And the voice of a very familiar one, said on the other end;
"Daniel, it is Bella, Bella Swan." At that he gasped out and said
"Bell, is that you, whats going on?!" Bella on the other line sighed before through tears, she told him everything that was going on, and while she spoke, his anger and sadness for Bella grew, and all he said before they then hung up on each other was;
"I will be there in few hours, Bell. I promise you that, but my team needs to know, but will you be at Charlie's house then?"
"Yes, I will, and you are all welcome to come by there. Even to stay."
He smiled at her voice and that she said so, and the two hung up, and when he turned around, his boss stood there, with a look of confusion and wonder, and Daniel sighed then told him to let go back to the others, then he would tell what was going on, and his boss, nodded his head and the two came back to the others, who looked up from where they were at, and they could see pain clear on Daniel's face, and confusion and wonder on their boss' face.
His boss, Remy, then said
"Everyone, Daniel has a case for us this time, I do not know what this about, more than names of a Bella and a Charlie. So Dan, lead the way."
At that Dan took a deep breath, then he said
"Few years ago, I met Chief Charles Swan of Forks PD, and through him his only daugther, Isabella or Bella Swan. Charlie and I worked on a case there in Forks together, and through my time there, Bella and I got really close to each other, we were even on the verge of beginning of dating, when I got then call to the case you now helped me with, to get where I am today. And luckily Bella had my number still, or her father had it in his office, and what she told me on the phone right now, it makes this case very personal one for me."
At that most of them looked confused, but also worried for they could now see tears in his eyes, and Remy grasped his arm gently, as in to comfort him abit, as he then said
"Bella's father was murdered a few days ago, but a misgruntle ex co-worker of his, for what Bella could gather from what she learned from others, was that this misgruntled and angry fellow, was that Charlie got the part of being the new chief of Forks PD, by their old Chief, than this man himself, he felt that he was granted such after all the work he had done, and when he didn't get it, but Charlie instead. He got so angry, that he waited on Charlie to come home few days ago, and then infront of very shocked Bella, he shot Charlie down and killed him instantly. And now that said man is on the run, for he is the biggest coward. But what is worse, is the other officers doesn't seem to want to do any work on apphrend him, and Bella is scared for she was a witness to her own father's murder, and therefore she could be the next if he gets chance to. It scares me too."
With that he sat down with hands over his face, and the others' of the team were in shock of what they just had learned and seen from him, and Remy then said
"Then we are off to Forks, everyone, this takes high priotery. So wheels up in 30 minutes towards Forks, Washington."
With that they all stood and walked out towards their cars, and Dan went with his boss and off to the airplane they went. Before entering the plane, he texted to Bella, that he was on his way and his team was also coming for her, and that they would be there in 4 hours. She texted back, to hurry for she is so scared and needs to see him. He just texted that he is coming and not to be afraid, to be brave as she always been, and locked herself inside of the house, until he knocks on it with his special knocks, that she knew what they were.
He then sat down and buckled up, and he then told the rest of them, the full story of him and Bella, and what they were up to the point of him having to leave her for the case they previously had helped him out with. It made them realise that this was a very personal case, and that Bella soon would be apart of their lives too.
