Berk has turned back to their old ways and hiccup has gotten the worst of it but what if the rest of the riders stayed on his side (mild language)

Hiccup never thought after Grimmel's death he'd have to keep an eye on events beyond his own island anymore. A previously unknown tribe comes to change that for him when they make a nationalist their Chieftan who desires to bring back the viking lifestyle of seven generations, expansion via aggression, and a ruthless goal to eradicate what he calls the 'unvikings'.

The Dragon Riders are now scattered across the winds, and worse, Ace is about to be executed. Hiccup, desperate to save his brother, plans on freeing him from the most maximum-security prison ever built. At the same time, war is on the horizon, and no one is certain what the outcome will be.

It's the discovery of a lifetime: Hiccup's mother, alive after twenty years, living with dragons just a day's flight from Berk. Hiccup isn't sure how he feels, but he knows he isn't happy. (Or: what if Hiccup hadn't been quite so quick to forgive Valka's 20-year absence?)

Sicktember Day 1: AU where Hiccstrid marries young, around age 15. After spending the night hanging out with the gang at the Great Hall, they wake up the next morning to Hiccup not feeling well and Astrid assuming he's just hungover. *I don't own HTTYD or any of the characters.*

Three years have passed since the war with the Berserkers, everything is finally at peace but it's not going to last any longer, the dragon riders must travel outside the archipelago, this will lead to new lands, new allies, new enemies and of course... new dragons
