Explaining it all
Chase was trying to figure out why Kylo affected Austin so much, they guy killed himself. He knew there had to be more to the story, he went to talk top Vanessa.
Vanessa: hey Chase,
Chase: hey sorry about your step dad,
Vanessa: yeah it is so weird,
Chase: do you know what happened?
Vanessa: the doctors were not sure why he was in pain but they did discover a tumor
Chase: a tumor?
Vanessa: yes in his brain, it was called glioblastoma and I looked it up it causes weird personality changes.
Chase: that explains a lot did he know he had it?
Vanessa: I don't think so but he must have had it for a while the doctor said it was huge, and it does explain why he fell for my mom so fast, his personality was so different around her compared to others.
Chase: what do you mean?
Vanessa: he just looked at her different, I can't explain it but they literally knew each other for like 5 days before he asked her to marry him and have a baby. It all seemed weird, and he did kidnap your son so he was different around everyone.
Chase: I am not sure how I feel about him, I know he is dead but like I am worried that Kylo killed him.
Vanessa: he didn't Chase, and honestly he was getting weirder and weirder, it was only a matter of time. The doctors did say that the tumor would have killed him eventually, I don't think this had anything to do with Kylo
Chase: how did he get it?
Vanessa: it is hard to say but they think it might have come from somewhere in the Army he was exposed to something, The cancer would have killed him eventually
Chase: alright well again I am sorry, and thanks for this
Vanessa: sure and if she wants to come let Skye know his funeral will be in 3 days
Chase: I will
Chase left and went back home to explain things to Skye, Kylie was also there helping out. Aurora was playing nicely with Kylo.
Chase: so he had a brain tumor and it caused all of this
Skye: so it wasn't Kylo's bite?
Chase: no I mean it might have played a factor but the cancer was what made him nuts
Kylie: this actually explains so much, he was not the same person, every time he talked to me over the last month or so it seemed different
Chase: turns out it changed his personality
Skye: well either way I am glad he is gone, I know he was my dad but when he took Kylo I wanted to rip him apart
Kylie: I know but Skye he wasn't himself
Skye: does it even matter at this point he is gone right? I mean I am not sure I even want to talk about it anymore
Skye grabbed Kylo and went upstairs,
Kylie: she is taking this harder than I expected
Chase: I know she cares a lot more than she cares to admit, his funeral is in days.
Kylie: try and convince her to go, I need to get Aurora home for a nap
Chase: okay, I will try and thanks
Kylie: no problem, I just hope that she does come I feel like she might regret it if she does.
Chase found Skye researching the glioblastoma on the computer,
Skye: he could have had this his whole life
Chase: yes,
Skye: I mean it explains so much Chase, I never did get why he never wanted me, the minute he came back into my life he seemed off
Chase: he probably had it then and just didn't know
Skye: it does explain the pain though, they say it could cause excruciating headaches
Chase: which makes me think Kylo's bite had nothing to do with it, I really don't think it is lethal
Skye: I don't either he is to young, when he gets older maybe but for now I think we are safe.
Chase: I do too, Skye are you going to go to his funeral?
Skye: I don't know
Chase: okay I just think you should
Skye; right now I just want to take a nap while he is asleep
Chase: okay I am going to go and check in with Brian
Skye: okay
Chase left but he was going to check with Valerie and Nik he wanted to see how Mayor Humdinger was doing.
Meanwhile Leah was stressing,
Leah: UGH!
Rocky: you okay?
Leah: yeah I just don't think I want all of this
Rocky: all of what?
Leah: a huge wedding, I don't need to spend millions of dollars on it,
Rocky: we need to have a wedding
Leah; and we will but I want it low key, our families an friends and just a small reception, Rocky I don't need all the glitz and glam
Rocky: are you sure?
Leah: yes I want it to be small
Rocky: okay, when do you want to get married?
Leah: soon, like maybe a month
Rocky: sure
Cameron started to cry, and Leah went to get him
Rocky: I got him babe you plan the wedding
Leah: okay but there is nothing to plan, I literally have it planned
Rocky: okay babe
Rocky went to get Cameron and he changed him and brought him down to Leah to be fed.
Leah: man he is just growing like a weed
Rocky: yeah I can't believe he is 3 months old
Leah: me either, have you talked to Charlie?
Rocky: not yet he is taking it hard
Leah: talk to him Rocky
Rocky: Okay I will try
Rocky found Charlie he was in his room it looked like he was packing
Rocky: you going somewhere?
Charlie: yeah to see Gasket
Rocky: are you good Charlie we are worried
Charlie: I admit I freaked out, I know I never did anything, that night messed me up so bad, I will not be doing drugs again I swear. I am good Rocky, I am going to see my girlfriend and just figure things out
Rocky: okay we are here for you and our wedding will be in a month
Charlie: oh wow that soon?
Rocky: yeah she wants it small and I am okay with that
Charlie: sounds good, I won't be gone that long
Rocky: okay and Charlie don't do anything stupid please
Charlie: I won't little brother
Charlie hugged him and left , Rocky hoped he was telling the truth, he received a text from Rubble he wanted to hang out.
Rocky: hey Leah you get this text from Rubble?
Leah: yeah do you think he is okay?
Rocky: I am not sure he has been distant lately but I am sure its not bad
Leah: out of everyone I worry for Rubble the most, ever since Chase became a werewolf things became weird with him
Rocky: yeah and he doesn't like to talk about it either, I know he hates it
Leah: okay well Chase texted back and said to meet at his house, so that means he texted Chase too
Rocky: right okay well are we in?
Leah: yes I need to be sure he is okay
Rocky: alright.
Later that day everyone gathered at Chase and Skye's and Cameron was with Kylo on the floor in front of them.
Rubble: thanks guys, I um things have been hard
Chase: I am sorry
Rubble: no man its not your fault, I just its complicated. Anyways I have received a job offer
Skye: that is great Rubble
Rubble: yes but it is in Adventure City and I want to take it
Chase: so you are moving?
Rubble: I am yes but I am still here for all of you
Zuma: of course man and Adventure City is not that far
Sweetie: we will keep in touch
Leah: wait you are leaving too?
Sweetie: yes I am going with him
Rocky: okay well come back in a month for our wedding
Rubble: I thought you were just engaged are you really having a wedding that soon
Leah: we are keeping it small and low key so yes
Rubble: we will be here
Sweetie: yes we can't wait, and Skye we are sorry about your dad
Skye: why? I am not I mean I never knew him and he took Kylo
Rocky: right but that was the tumor right, I mean he didn't actually mean too, he was sick
Skye: no that is not an excuse! He took my child! And he could have hurt him
Everest: she does have a point I would be pissed too
Chase: regardless does it matter the man is dead, let's let him RIP
Marshall: I agree, I know you never knew him Skye but it sucks losing a dad
Everest: I second that
Chase: as much as I hate it babe I agree with them, losing my dad sucked. I am also pissed that Kylo ended up taken but he is fine, and your dad suffered the most out of this.
Rocky: I heard he had a glioblastoma and by the sounds of his symptoms it was only a matter of time before he died.
Skye: I get what you're all saying but he treated me like crap for years, he never cared about me my whole life. Then he comes back and is a dick once again and then steals my son his grandson. I mean I get he was sick and that he didn't know but that doesn't scream father to me
Leah: she has a point guys,
Chase: okay but still its over, and I for one am just glad Kylo is okay
Everest: me too
Everest hugged her nephew and Marshall wondered if Everest wanted to have a baby but he didn't want to bring it up.
Rubble: I am going to miss this so much
Chase: yeah us all hanging out seems rare these days
Zuma: everyone is so busy
Leah: what is going on with Kelly?
Zuma: its complicated, I mean I get she is supposed to be my sister but I am pissed about it. I think its all awkward still with her but I am trying for Kol.
Ahri: more like tolerating
Zuma: she tired to be my girlfriend so, its just weird
Rubble: I would find that weird too
Ahri: he just needs to give her a chance
Zuma: that is easy for you all to say, It is weird, I can't just forget that she liked me, I also am pissed my dad lied to me my whole life
Chase: the part that sucks is you can't even ask him about it
Zuma: I know, and I will never know if my mom knew either. I know Kol says he heard them fighting about it once but he was 3
Skye: Zuma you do what you need to don't let anyone tell you otherwise
Zuma: thanks Skye
Chase: speaking of siblings, Rocky is Charlie okay?
Rocky: he is he went to New York to see Gasket
Skye: I am glad they found each other
Leah: I am just glad she is not after Rocky anymore
Marshall: I feel like everything is working out for everyone in our lives,
Rocky: yeah even mom and Brian are doing better
Skye: I think my dad dying had something to do with that
Everest: all in all everyone is doing good!
Chase: yes and speaking of we need to get this one to bed
Chase as now holding Kylo and he yawned
Leah: my god Skye we make cute stinking kids
Skye: yes we do!
Rubble: well we leave early tomorrow
Chase: keep in touch with us you hear
Rubble: we will and Rocky we will be back for your wedding
Leah: be careful out there Rubble
Everyone hugged him and Sweetie and they were the first to leave, Rocky and Leah also left needing to get Cameron to bed.
Zuma: thanks everyone
Skye: Ahri I heard you are doing show me your song!
Ahri: yeah Jazz thinks it will be good for my image
Skye: that is so cool!
Ahri: I am excited for it I know I like to write my own songs but this might be interesting
Chase: what is this show me your song?
Ahri: a show where fans write songs, and I choose 3 that I like and record them on my album
Chase: interesting well good luck with that
Ahri: thanks
Zuma: we should go too, bye everyone
Marshall and Everest were the only ones left, and they decided to stay and hang out for a bit Skye and Chase put Kylo to bed and joined them in the living room.
