It turns out Belmont still couldn't see that Cody wasn't the Antichrist, but it didn't stop Cody from looking at every other follower that was brainwashed by Belmont's evil, twisted, honeyed words. "Can't believe that pious son of a bitch still won't believe Cody." Moxxie said
"Just leave it alone," said Loona "like you guys said: you can't convince some assholes that their hair's on fire."
"Maybe I can help other people." Cody said. "I hope I can save them." Then he thought about of the close followers that sadistically hurt and raped Tyler's mom. "But not all of them."
"Of course. Some of them will stay here for all eternity." Lucifer pointed. "But let's see what you can do for the rest."
"And help them be redeemed at my hotel." Charlie smiled with hope.
going through many cells, Cody saw many people that followed Belmont and when many saw Cody's own cross, they began to feel guilty and some of them began to cry in immense guilt.
There was a large cell with a very large, grey tree with what appeared to be cocoons or some kind of eggs like ones that spiders would produce, and they were made out of the sticky substance from spider webs too.
"What kind of trees are these?" Asked Cody to Lucifer.
"The Trees of Agony." The king replied. "These are usually for kids that have committed sins. They just lie in these cocoons like a fetus inside a bitch before it is even born, and they endure being in hot lava or being pierced by white-hot spikes all over. Either that, or they just end up in a coma-like sleep with no dreams, only darkness. You see, I put them in here so they don't have to end up with grueling punishments like the grownup sinners would have since they are still kids and don't really deserve all of that... well, except for a few exceptions like those two evil British boys that killed that poor two-year old boy back at Liverpool back in 1993. But that's different.
Cody looked at these sacs in horror. Some of them were friends that Cody knew in school and grew up with. But he knew that he can save at least most of them and have them redeemed.
"is there a way to wake them up or look at me?"
"Of course." With a snap of his fingers, the cocoons became visible, revealing the brainwashed children's naked bodies, many of them covered in blood and many of them were crying as they were being subjected to this punishments. "Attention kids," Lucifer announced to them. Every one of the children looked at the king of Hell, looking quite shaken after everything that happened.
"Guys," Cody began to speak to them, "you have all been brainwashed by Mr. Belmont. I am not the Antichrist, guys. I promise. And i'll prove it to you." he showed his own cross to these kids and they all got a good, long look at the cross. Realizing that Cody was right, they all began to cry. "It's ok," Cody continued. "It's not your fault. It's Belmonts'. But this is why i am here, to show you that I am not the bringer of the apocalypse."
"And, i will give you all a great opportunity for all you sweeties to come over to my Happy Hotel to be reformed." Charlie offered excitedly
"But, we... almost killed our friend." said one boy.
"We deserve to be hurt forever." one girl added.
"Don't say that, babies." said Charlie. "You're all kids, and you all deserve a second chance."
"Yes, we can clean you all up, heal your wounds and make your way to my daughters' hotel for you to stay in."
"How long do we have to stay there?" asked a snivelling boy
"For at least... three months." said Lucifer. "But in all fairness, it would be up to you if you are ready to be revived or go off into Heaven for 'eternal paradise', 'eternal happiness' and all of that shit that it gives to people entering it." The king of Hell snapped his fingers again, removing the tree and the kids landing on a soft mattress that he conjured after so the kids wouldn't be hurt when the fell to the ground. Many of them were rocking back and forth on the floor knowing that they had done something very very bad and very very wrong.
Cody went up to the group, and he said: "It's ok guys. Charlie can help you all."
And so they moved on from cell to cell to try and convince many of Belmonts' former followers that he was not, in fact, the Antichrist, and there have been most successes in this reformation, but there were still a few who were still believing that he is. Of course, some of them were definitely bad people, and they deserved to stay in this horrible place forever, especially the ones that helped kill Uncle Boulder and his cool band of bikers. That, and there were a few people that didn't want to be saved. But Cody heard Loona when she mentioned "one cannot save everyone", so he had no choice but to accept that harsh reality. The closest followers were just as bad as their former boss, and it was discovered that the brutal hick enforcer, Cletus, was part of the evil Ku Klux Klan, one of the worst kinds of groups in history, and no one in that kind deserves any mercy.
"As soon as it was all done, the saved townsfolk of Cody's hometown went with Charlie with some cold water to drink and blankets around them.
"Daddy, thanks so much for the help. I promise that they will all be reformed before you know it." Charlie said. "Come on everyone. The hotel awaits!"
"Well, that went mostly well." said Blitzo
"Yeah but can i have a doggy bag?" Cody said, feeling like throwing up from all the grotesque punishments from all the martyrs he had seen. Moxxie gave him one and Cody made no hesitation in vomiting into the bag.
