Vortex, Bee, and even Cody didn't know what to think of Loona's failed apology to Bee, and they all looked confused at Loona's face when she was still blowing raspberries while nodding her head sideways. "What?" said Bee, wiping a tear from her right eye

Loona cleared her throat and replied. "I'm trying to say that i'm very-" her head suddenly turned into a donkey and she even began braying like one three times.

"What?!" Bee repeated. "Just tell me what I fucking did wrong! And if you got nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all!" She felt like crying again, and hugged herself in Tex' muscular chest, whom looked at Loona with disappointment again. Taking in a deep breath, Loona realized that this was going to be harder than she thought. Apologizing was not really her kind of thing. She swallowed and her throat felt as dry as sandpaper right now. At last, Cody had to step in

"Look, Tex, can I talk to you alone, please?"

"Sure thing, Cody." Both he and the human kid walked away from the two ladies so they can chat in private.

Bee looked at Loona with a sad look on her face, and Loona looked away again. "Must have been pretty lucky to have a guy like Tex as your boyfriend, huh?" Said Loona.

"yeah," Bee wiped mucus from her nose and sniveled. "I'll never forget the first day we meet before we broke-" she then had a face of realization. "Wait, what the fuck does that mean?"

"Nothing! I was just saying."

Menawhile, Cody cleared his throat and said: "Tex, please don't be mad at Loona. She's... been through a rough childhood."

"What do you mean?" Said the burly hellhound.

Taking a deep breath with his eyes closed, Cody began telling Tex about Loona's shitty childhood in the Hellhound pound. The more he told Tex about it, the more guilty and sympathetic he began feeling about Loona. "So Loona was almost eighteen when she was adopted and she has trauma from what happened in the pound."

"Cody, I... I didn't know." Tex felt like crying at hearing Loona's sad childhood. "I can understand why Loona hates Bee so much. But my childhood wasn't the greatest either." Looking at the female hellhound, looking insecure again. "I'll go talk to her. Thanks for telling me this, kiddo."

"I can't even look at you right now, Loona, you're mean to the bone."

"Maybe I am." Loona muttered under her breath.

"Loona?" Said Tex. "I want to talk to you."

"Sure, what is it?"

pulling her away from Bee, Tex pulled out a sigh and said: "look, Cody told me about your life in a pound and how badly you were treated. And-"

"Tex." Loona interrupted her. "You are on... fucking thin ice." She looked away from him, with tears in her own eyes.

"I'm sorry if you had to go through this. But I've had a shitty childhood too."

"You have no idea what shitty is." Loona growled.

"But I do." Tex pleaded. "Look, my mom died giving birth to me and my dad just gave me away to that same pound Cody mentioned to me."

"What do you mean?"

"well, my time in the pound wasn't very good. I stayed there until I was almost eighteen too, and it was when a nice woman adopted me and let me stay in her apartment for five years until she died of a heart attack. Then I was on my own and then Bee found me, homeless again, and took pity on me, and... you can guess the rest."

Loona looked surprised. "Wow, I... I didn't you went through all that."

"I did. And Loona, look, I understand what you hate Bee and why you're jealous of her."

"Jealous? Please I am not jealous." Loona scoffed. Tex did not look very convinced however, for he raised his right eyebrow at her. "Alright alright, you got me." She sang. "She was just rubbing it in my face at the party."

"No she wasn't." Tex insisted. "Bee really does like you and thinks you're a cool hellhound. I've known her way longer than you, girl. I can tell she likes you."

Loona was silent, and then said after a brief pause: "ok. I'll just... start over again."

Vortex smiled as Loona walked up to Bee with a deep breath. "I'm... I'm sorry for everything, ok? There, I said it."

"Look, what's wrong, Loona? Why do you hate me? What did I do to make you hate me?"

"It's complicated." Loona replied. "But I've had a shitty childhood. And... I thought I was going to meet cool friends at one of your parties, but then I saw you making that entrance with that shitty song." Bee looked offended and felt like crying again. "No, no, don't cry again." She waved her hands. "I thought it was going to be my night."

Bee understood what the problem was at last. "You're... jealous of me?"

Loona made a small growl before begrudgingly stating "yes."

Now Bee was looking guilty, and felt horrible. "Loona, I didn't mean to make you feel so worthless."

"Thanks, people love hearing that." Loona sounded sarcastic

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. Totally came out wrong. What I mean to say is, not feel so special. Is there anything that I can give you, Loona?"

"Nah. I don't want anything from you." Loona flatly said with her arms crossed.

"OK. Well, you are always invited to come to any of my parties whenever you want to."

"Thanks I guess."

Bee smiled and tried to hug Loona, but the female hellhound made a threatening growl at her. Seeing that Bee was about to sob once more. "Fine, I'll let you hug me just this once."

"Yay!" Bee exclaimed before hugging Loona with all her four arms, much to the annoyance and uncomfortable feelings from Loona. "Now come on, should we get back to my place?"

"Sure, whatever." Loona rolled her eyes

"Well well well, look who it is." said a female voice rang sounded like a stereotypical teenage girl, or valley girl. "Loona, nice to see you again. There was a poodle hellhound, a Dalmatian hellhound, and the third one was a breed Cody couldn't tell.

Loona gave a growl at the poodle hellhound, who turned out to be a leader. "Vikki?!" She said

"I'm surprised you remembered me." The poodle hellhound sounded pretentious. "Like, it's been a long while."

"Not long enough."

"What's wrong, Loona?" The Dalmatian one taunted. "Cat got your tongue?"

"What a pity." The third female hellhound lady added.

Then they noticed Cody stepping up to try and defend her. "Leave her alone." He flatly said to the three girls.

All of them paused and then they began squealing to each other. "Look at this baby. He's so cute!" The Dalmatian hellhound picked him up. "I can just have him, like, give him a warm blanket."

"Ruffette, I couldn't agree with you more."

"Totes adorable" the third hellhound said. "So you're the adorable human kid we've heard about."

"And you look cuter in person." Ruffette admitted before giving him a kiss on the forehead.

"Do you agree, Ruffie?" Asked Vikki.

"Totes agree with you, girl friend." The female hellhound pointed.

"Hey hey hey, put him down." Said Bee. "By order of the Queen of Gluttony." Looking scared, Ruffette did just that and put the boy down.

"Sorry." The three girls said in unison. "But what are you doing with this loser?" Asked Vikki

"Hey!" Bee got in her giant size and her eyes looked insect-like again. "Don't you fucking dare call Loona a loser! She is a very cool person!"
