Shinji puts the groceries on the counter and turns back towards the kitchen table.
Asuka is sitting there with a large pile of paper on one side and two much smaller piles on the other. She is taking a page off the larger pile, looking at it and dropping most of them on the floor next to her.
"Asuka," asks Shinji nerviously, "What are you doing?"
"Hikari was kind enough to leave us a month's worth of homework". Not even Shinji could miss the sarcasm in her words. "I'm sorting it"
She points to the piles.
"Useful."
"Wrong, but the teachers don't know that so you have to learn it anyway"
"Rubbish," she drops another sheet on the floor.
"But why are you attempting to bury PenPen in paper?"
Asuka looks down and realises that PenPen is sitting in a pile of printouts, just as she drops another sheet.
PenPen snatches it out of the air and rips it to shreds. "Wark"
"PenPen is destroying the evidence."
"The penguin ate my homework? You really think that one is going to fly?"
PenPen flaps his wings and completely fails to become airborne.
"Wark".
