Vivian and Spirit stayed close to the village for the few days keeping her distance. She goes exploring into the woods for her curiosity as Spirit followed close by as they gotten further away from their home. Vivian found some flowers she was familiar with and looked at the Lavender and chamomile to see which where ready to be plucked. As she was looking a sound of tiny footsteps caught her attention for a moment but thought it was a small animal. "Hello?" Said a small voice. Vivian turned her head to see a little girl wearing a blue dress smiling at her and noticed she was alone. "Hello. Are you lost?" Said Vivian bending down to her level. The girl shook her head side to side then pointed to Spirit eating some dry grass. "You want to ride my horse?" Said Vivian. The blonde girl smiled in a shy way and nodded her head giving her the puppy eyes."Okay. But i need to know your name first." Said Vivian. "Aurora." Said the girl. "Nice to meet you Aurora. Im Vivian and that horse is Spirit." Said Vivian taking Aurora's small hand. Vivian picked up Aurora up and placed her on Spirits back as they slowly walked into the woods. Once they were out of sight a raven tilted its head before going after them by listening to Aurora's laughter. Spirit lead the two to a small cottage with a garden and stopped as Vivian brought Aurora down. "Is your family inside?" Said Vivian. "Auntys are napping." Said Aurora. "Oh ok. Just dont wonder off like that again." Said Vivian while brushing away a loose hair away from Aurora's eyes. "Thank you Vivi and Pretty Horse." Said Aurora before grabbing an apple and fed it to Spirit. "Your welcome. Be safe now." Said Vivian watching Aurora giggle while she went inside the cottage. Spirit nipped her sleeve getting Vivians attention by looking at where he was pointing off in the trees.
There she saw a figure through the thick branches watching them with a crow that she recognized before. "Can i help you two?" Said Vivian. The crow cawed before flying around her and off somewhere in the forest as Vivian climbed on Spirit to follow it. She looked around then felt Spirit feel a presence and stomped his right hoof into the ground. Vivian got down as someone walked towards them and looked to see a man with black hair with dark clothes. "Are you the crow that was watching us?" Said Vivian. "My apologizes. My master was curious about you. Im Diaval." Said the man bowing to her. "You dont need to be formal. Now why hasn't your master talked to me in person?" Said Vivian looking around. "Hes not fond of . . ." "Humans." Said Vivian. "Yes." Said Diaval. "I know people can do cruel unspeakable things but some can surprise you. Can i see him?" Said Vivian. "I cant say he rules the Moores and this forest." Said Diaval. "If you both spied on me long enough. Then you would know i dont hurt anyone such is fairies and other creatures related to nature. Im raised to respect them as equal." Said Vivian. "Well see about that." Said deep voice somewhere behind the trees. "Then could i least know the ruler of the Moores." Said Vivian. She waited for his response as Diaval walked over to Spirit gently petting him. "How long have you owned him?" Said Diaval. "I dont own him. My family help creatures like him. We grew up together and gained a special bond." Said Vivian as Spirit nudged her. "Hes a free spirit then." Said Diaval as Vivian smiled. "Yes. Thats why his name fit him. Hes never even lets strangers ride him." Said Vivian. "What about Aurora?" Said Diaval. "He may have been familiar with her during his exploring." Said Vivian running her finger through his mane. "Anyways i have to head to the market to get dinner and if you two would like to join then I'll make a meal enough for three." She says looking at Diaval and out in the trees where Maleficent is. "You dont have to invite us. Maleficent doesn't get al-" Diaval suddenly turned into a black cat and scurried off into the trees. "I'll have some tea ready if you ever stop by." Said Vivian climbing on Spirit walking them home. She got off and went to the market to buy some vegetables since it was the only thing she can afford at the moment.
Once the sun was setting over the land Vivian managed to make a vegetable stew over the bonfire she made to keep herself and the stew warm. Spirit slept close by their wagon to keep guard on any trespassers as his ears twitched to the sound of the crackling fire. Vivian waited for bit waiting for Diaval or Maleficent and went to her wagon to get her bowl to serve herself. She walked to see a man dressed in long black robes holding a staff with a green stone. "Maleficent?" Said Vivian. "I apologize for not making an appearance earlier. Not many for fond of me." Said Maleficent. "Well i made some stew with vegetables. Would you like some or herbal tea?" Said Vivian serving herself a bowl. "No thank you." Said Maleficent having a seat on the log. Vivian sat down as well not to far for his disliking and began to eat. "Dont you have family." Said Maleficent. "I had a family years ago. They all died in a fire." Said Vivian. "Oh. I truly sorry. How did that happen if i may ask?" Said Maleficent. "From where im from. People arent fond of all things magic or anything close to it like faes and others. But my family accepted them as equal where we help them or show respect and they do the same for us. My village didnt like it one bit as we use our own 'magic' to help those who are sick or cleanse off negativity. So I left with Spirit to get some plants off not far from my home. And when we came back everything and everyone was gone with the villagers standing there listening to their screams dying down. Thats how we ended up traveling to find ourselves a new home." Said Vivian looking at Maleficent sadly. "Well if you do choose to stay then I'll show you my kingdom one day." Said Maleficent. "Thank you. So tell me about yourself and Diaval." Said Vivian wiping off any tears forming in her eyes.
