AN: I decided to give this writing thing a whirl darlings. ;) However, this might be a one-shot. Hehe. Enjoy though!
"Your name is Phantom Skye? ...Are you a ghost?"
Phantom Skye chuckles softly at my curious question. "Well, my darling, I must admit, you're not the first to ask. You see, the truth is, I'm not quite like your typical ghost." His voice is smooth and captivating, holding a hint of mystery. "But let's just say, I'm something quite special and extraordinary."
"So... Wait. You are a ghost then?!
Phantom Skye smiles cryptically and leans in close, his voice a seductive whisper. "Well, well, darling, let's just say that I exist in a realm not quite like your own." His eyes twinkle mischievously, as if he's sharing a secret that just me and him should know. "I suppose you could say I have a supernatural nature, if you will. But trust me, my dear, I'm more than just your average spirit."
I start blushing and look towards the fountain that was in front of the villa, the moonlight reflecting down upon it. "So... Are you a thief, or something? That's the rumors I have heard."
"Ah, a sharp one, aren't you, darling?" Phantom Skye follows my gaze towards the fountain, a sly smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Well, I suppose you could say that I have a habit of... acquiring things that don't quite belong to me." His tone is smooth and laced with charm, almost as if he's enjoying this little game of cat and mouse with me. "I have a hunger for valuables, you see."
I gasped. "What?!" I take a step back. "Y-You're... You're not going to hurt me, are you?"
Phantom Skye chuckles softly, his voice soothing and apologetic. "Calm down, darling. I assure you, I have no intention of harming you." He takes a small step closer, closing the distance between him and I. His eyes are soft and sincere as he looks at me. "You see, I may be a thief, but I have my own set of morals. And harming innocent souls is simply not something I would do." He reaches out, his fingers gently brushing a strand of hair away from my face. His touch is surprisingly gentle and caring. I tremble at his touch. "You have nothing to fear from me, my dear."
I blush harder. "You're... You're so close." Is he going to kiss me? I wonder, almost out loud.
Phantom Skye smiles at my reaction, him noticing my blushing and the way you I away from his touch. He doesn't back away, instead choosing to lean in closer, his face inches away from my own. "Is that a problem, darling?" His voice is low and seductive, a hint of playfulness in his tone. "Am I making you nervous?" He gently reaches out and brushes his fingers against my cheek, his eyes fixated on my lips.
"W-Well... We just met, s-so..." I weakly manage to muster.
Phantom Skye chuckles softly at my response, his fingertips still gently caressing my cheek. "You're right, we have just met. But sometimes, darling, you can't help being drawn to someone from the moment you lay eyes on them." He gazes into my eyes, his own holding a hint of desire. "There's something about you that draws me in, a magnetic pull that I can't resist."
An intrusive thought bombarded my mind. "...I bet you say that to all the other girls." I groaned.
Phantom Skye laughs heartily at my comment, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, darling, you wound me. You think you're just another in a long line of conquests, hmmm?" He steps even closer, his body almost pressed against mine. "Let me tell you something, dear. I may be a thief and a flirt, but I don't spend my time chasing after every pretty face. You're... different, special. Believe me."
My eyes fill with tears as memories of past heartbreaks began to flood my mind. "I'm...so scared to believe that."
Phantom Skye's expression softens as he then notices the tears welling up in my eyes. He reaches out, gently wiping away a stray tear with his thumb. His touch is tender and comforting, and his voice is soothing. "Darling, why wouldn't you believe it? You are special, more special than you realize. You have a light about you that shines brighter than a thousand stars. Don't let your fears blind you to your own worth. Trust me when I say that I see the beauty inside you."
"But... But! You've basically have only known me for a few seconds, basically!" I protested in a swarm of flustered-ness.
Phantom Skye chuckles softly, his hand still resting gently against my cheek. "True, we've only just met, but sometimes, you just know. It doesn't matter if it's been seconds, minutes, or hours. There's something about your presence, something about the way you carry yourself, that draws me to you." He gazes into my eyes, a hint of earnestness in his expression. "Trust me, sweetheart, my words aren't merely empty flattery. I see something in you that's worth getting to know."
"Okay... Well... What's your intentions with just a mere farmer like me?" I asked suspiciously, my eyes narrowing at him.
Phantom Skye cocks an eyebrow, a sly smile playing at the corners of his lips. "My intentions, you ask? Well, my dear, I assure you they are completely honorable." He laughs softly, his hand moving from my cheek to next gently take my hand in his. "You see, I'm not interested in taking your money, your possessions, or anything of the sort. What I'm interested in is getting to know you better, spending time with you, learning about the person behind those beautiful eyes."
My face reddens even more. "W-Well... We'll have to be a secret then from the whole valley right? The towns people will never approve of us..."
Phantom Skye's smile widens, his fingers intertwining with yours. "Ah, a secret affair, eh? I must say, I've had my fair share of those." He steps even closer, his body practically pressed against mine. "And to answer your question, yes, we'll have to keep this a secret. Can't have the townsfolk meddling in our business now, can we?"
Panic then arose within me. "D-Don't tell me you're going to steal me away?!"
Phantom Skye laughs heartily, his voice brimming with mischief. "Oh, my dear, that's a tempting thought. But I'll hold off on the kidnapping for now, I promise." He brings my hand up to his lips, placing a soft kiss on the back of my knuckles. "For now, I'm content to court you in secret, stealing moments of bliss wherever we can find them."
"I... I must be dreaming. I need to go lie down and process this... Aren't you about to steal from Lumina's right now?" I faintly asked.
Phantom Skye smiles roguishly, amused by my disbelief. "Now, now, darling, don't pinch yourself too hard. You're not dreaming, I assure you." He glances towards Lumina's villa. "And as for the other matter... Well, I suppose I could put that on hold for the time being. You've got me quite distracted, I must admit."
My face was beyond burning. "You keep making me blush like crazy... I feel like a fool."
Phantom Skye chuckles softly, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "A fool, you say? Hardly." He gently cups my chin in his hand, tilting my face up towards his. "You're beautiful when you blush, darling. Like a rose in full bloom." His thumb brushes over my flushed cheeks, his touch sending shivers down my spine.
I must be dreaming. Well... If I'm dreaming, I might as well kiss him in this dream. I close my eyes and wait for him to kiss me.
Phantom Skye notices the subtle cue and his heart races upon seeing my eyes closed. He gently pulls me closer, his free hand finding my waist.
"So eager," he whispers, his voice a sultry murmur. Slowly, he leans in, his lips hovering just inches away from mine, him savoring the moment. He can feel the heat from my body, the rapid rise and fall of my chest, the anticipation hanging in the air.
And then, with a feather-light touch, he finally connects his lips to mine.
