When Jason woke up the next morning he was disoriented. Looking around he saw a midnight black horse sleeping next to him. The memories of the day before came rushing back and he remembered falling asleep under a tree. How had he gotten into a room... stable?

Looking out around him he saw Ponyville. It was drastically different than Gotham. Rather than being overcast it was bright and sunny. It was like stepping into a completely different world... which is what he did. He wondered why he was here. What was the purpose of sending him here?

Getting up he left the stable and trotted around Ponyville just to see what he could see. The sights were a little off-putting. Living in Gotham for going on sixteen years made someone weary of everything, but Ponyville literally smelled Crimefree. It was like Metropolis, but even worse, or better depending on who you asked. He wondered what Superman and Supergirl would think of Ponyville. Thinking about Kara made him sad, what would she do when she found out he wasn't in Gotham anymore? What was Bruce doing now? Did Bruce kill Joker for what he'd done to him?

Jason's thoughts spun around and around until they had spun out of control, and he was spiraling.

"Hey." a familiar voice said, breaking him out of his spiral.

"Who are you?" He asked the Pony? Unicorn? Pegasus? Thing.

"My name is Monty. I am the Consort to Princess Celestia, and I am an Alicorn, thank you very much."

"What's an Alicorn?" Jason asked.

"It's a mix between a Pegasus and a Unicorn. I have a Pegasus' wings and a Unicorns' horn, therefore Alicorn."

"Oh."

"You are an Earth Pony, but you also are very special."

"How so?"

"Well, for one thing your Cutie Mark is basically your utility belt. Think of anything and you can use a power or gadget that you would be able to use in Gotham, plus a few extra."

"Extra? What does that mean?"

Monty let off killing intent and Jason's Cutie Mark changed to that of crossed, fiery blades, and an ethereal, fiery Unicorn horn appeared from Jason's forehead making him a Unicorn. "The All Blade." Monty said. "With this you will be able to best nearly any threat."

The killing intent went away and so did the All Blade.

"Get mad, like really mad. Feel the desire to get stronger course through your veins."

Jason did so and his Cutie Mark changed to that of a Luchador Mask, and Jason's eyes burned green, and he became even bigger than he already was.

"That is Venom coursing through your veins, don't worry, it's not addictive and even if it was, the sheer goodness of Equestria would burn the addiction away because it's pure goodness. You can literally defeat a BBEG with a cupcake or the power of friendship that's how good Equestria is."

"Is there every any conflict here?" Jason asked.

"Not really, no, and even when there is it's usually dealt with. In fact, the worst thing most Ponies face on the day-to-day is a bad mane day... unless your Pinkie. In which case it's when your next party is going to be."

"Oh, yeah. Pinkie. Any other surprises I should be aware of?"

"I hope you like boring castle life, because as Celestia's Consort and Luna's son, my life and yours will be very dull. We will have our every need taken care of, and there will be little to no stress ever."

"Sounds exhausting."

"It is. It's not meant for people like us, but it's what the fans want, so it's what the fans get."

"What?"

"Nothing. I certainly wasn't breaking the fourth wall out of sheer insanity. Welp. I better get going. I've got a long day of absolutely nothing ahead of me. Talk to you later Jason."

"Talk to you later Monty." Jason said as he trotted back through Ponyville, finding some apples, he decided to have a snack. Eating, he thought about life at Wayne Manor. He wondered what life would have been like if Bruce had decided to hang up the cape and cowl, and they just lived as a family. Bruce could have used his money to make the city better, rather than going around giving criminals concussions. Jason shook his head. What was it about Equestria that made him think of alternative methods to crime fighting? Was it the genuine goodness in the air?

"Jason." Luna called.

Getting up Jason looked around and saw the diminutive Pony that had adopted him... was it bad to call her diminutive? He didn't think so, not in this context, but maybe a different word would work better... if he could think of one that didn't sound so condescending.

"There you are Jason." Luna trotted up to him. "For someone so big you are incredibly stealthy."

"I guess so." He spoke.

"Okay. Now, I know that you are new to being royalty, but there are a few things that needs to be taken care of, like where you will go to school, what you will study, checking you for magical potential, magical tutors if you do have magical potential, your royal duties, and of course a royal consort."

"I think I'm a little young to have a royal consort." Jason said.

"Well of course, but we will need to have one lined up for when you reach that age."

"What if I don't like any of them?" Jason asked, remembering how much he hated snobs at Gotham Academy. He liked Roy and Kara, but not many others. Dick had that hair that Jason had enjoyed making him regret growing. That was fun, but Dick was always the golden child and it annoyed Jason to no end. Bruce was always comparing him to Dick, and it was annoying.

"I'm sure that we can find someone that you will like." Luna said. "Now, let's check you for magic. Can you move things with your mind?"

Jason thought about moving an apple with his mind. He thought about moving it to his mouth, but nothing. "Nope." He spoke.

"Okay. So, you can't move thing's with your mind. What else can we check?"

"We can see how strong I am." Jason said, looking at a cart of apples.

"Okay, let's see how strong you are physically." Luna said, hitching a cart to Jason who had no problem moving it.

"I'm pretty sure he isn't stronger than me." Applejack said. "I'm the strongest Earth Pony in Ponyville."

They attached carts to carts and so on until Jason couldn't pull the carts. "How many carts was that?" Jason asked.

Luna counted and was shocked when she counted ten carts, after they took off two. "You can pull ten apple carts. That's amazing."

"I guess you are stronger than me." Applejack said. "I never thought that I would see the day that someone was stronger than me."

"Can we see how good he is at throwing parties?" Pinky asked.

"I suppose." Luna said.

"Great! Jason! throw me your best party!"

Jason threw Pinky a party, but it wasn't like one that Pinky had ever seen. There was tea, and apple juice, and cake, and Hors d'oeuvres, and linen covered tables, and an ice sculpture, and a fountain with apple juice, and a chocolate fountain. It appeared that all of those Gala's he had to attend were good for something after all, and all those hours in the kitchen with Alfred, of course that was more so that he wouldn't go hungry in the middle of the night after countless sleepless, hunger filled nights on the streets.

"Jason?" Pinky said. "What is this?"

"It's called a Gala." Jason and Luna said in unison.

"Oh. It seems kind of boring."

"They are." Jason and Luna said in unison again, this time laughing.

"How are you at studying?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

"Depending on the subject I enjoy it quite a lot." Jason said.

"How about the study of Magical Defense?"

"I don't mind studying that, even if I can't use magic myself."

Jason and Twilight spent hours studying, and only stopped for food and necessities.

Throughout the day Jason spent time with Fluttershy, petting animals that just so happened to make their way to them. He used the Grapnel from his Cutie Mark to fly with Rainbow Dash, and designed clothes with Rarity, even though he wasn't very good. It appeared that the time spent with them on the quest to stop Nightmare Moon had given the seven a bond beyond time.

"Wow." Luna said. "You are good with them."

"I mean, Rainbow Dash just likes flying, and while I can't fly, my Cutie Mark gives me the next best thing with the Grapnel ability. Fluttershy just likes spending time with animals and I don't mind the solitude of just sitting there and playing with animals. Rarity is the only one that I think I let down. I'm not very good when it comes to that kind of thing."

"Jason!" Rarity said. "I need your help! Ponies all over Ponyville want your designs!"

"What? How? Why? They aren't very good. Not compared to your designs."

"They are comfortable though. They are oversized and every Pony who's any Pony is going to want one! I wouldn't be surprised if Princess Celestia would want one!"

"I do." Princess Celestia flew down with Monty by her side. "In fact, I want two."

Rarity fainted, and Jason helped her up. "I'll go get started on them I guess." Jason said. "I didn't realize that I had so many skills outside of Crimefighting."

"You're a Crimefighter too?" Princess Celestia asked.

"Uh, yeah."

"My, my. Sister. It appears that you've adopted quite the talented Son."

"I KNOW RIGHT!" Luna cheered.

Jason blushed and went to work on his oversized clothes and smiled. He would rather be here with friends than in a castle any day of the week, if he could help it.
