Cam wasn't sure why Teshin had asked him to come to Cetus. Normally, the stoic Dax would sooner leave mission details in his mail rather than ask for a face to face meeting and, well, Cam was curious.

He closed his eyes and when he opened them again, he was looking through Rhino's eyes? Sensors? Regardless of the terminology, Cam was just maybe remembering the Eidolon that had nearly killed him the last time he'd been here, so Rhino it was.

They cut a striking figure in the town of earthy tones with their bright green paint, but Cam's was neither the only warframe in the village, nor the gaudiest. He spotted a few of his kin, usually lurking in less populated areas, braving the markets in turns. He even was nearly certain he'd seen a pair of Tenno; they weren't difficult to spot if you knew what you were looking for.

Rhino carefully edged around the bustling market, but it became clear that the meeting point Teshin had told him was in the market.

"If he brought me here to carry his groceries, I'm killing him." Cam mutters halfheartedly to himself. It probably wasn't a good idea to foray into those narrow streets decorated with shops and stalls as an eighteen arroba biomechanical weapon of war. Cam closed his eyes and tugged on the power within him. The odd lurch of his stomach heralded the sun on his dark skin and the wind rustling his hair. It was a little overwhelming, all the sensations, so he took a moment to breath it in before he continued, ducking around other people to avoid being touched, until-

"What are you doing, child?" Teshin's familiar drawl sounded out. People were keeping a distance from the Dax, leaving just them in a small circle of empty space. Cam shrugged, his problem with the crowd being lessened by Teshin's foreboding aura keeping them more or less away.

"You needed my help?" Cam asks. Teshin almost smiles as he hands Cam a burlap bag.

"I'm not carrying your groceries for you."

"I just have a few more things to get, and then we need to talk." The way Teshin said that had Cam slipping into a slightly more alert state, but the Dax didn't elaborate. Instead, he moved off, leaving Cam to follow with the bag.

They stopped at various stalls, Teshin both looking and occasionally purchasing various foodstuffs, most of which got placed into the bag Cam was carrying for his kin. It was while Teshin was haggling over the price of a leafy vegetable that Cam saw them: slightly lopsided and colored all wrong, but hand stitched plush kubrow. Almost involuntarily, Cam picked one up, feeling the soft fabric beneath his hands. How long had it been since he'd held a toy? Cam gave the little toy a squeeze. He hadn't held a toy since before...

Suddenly filled with sorrow, he goes to put the plush back on the display. Teshin's hand snatches the plush toy from Cam, putting it in the bag alongside the vegetables and paying the stall owner without a glance in Cam's direction.

"So..." Cam said as they walked towards Teshin's home, "The great Teshin likes to collect toys?"

"Your sense of humor is not appreciated at the moment." Cam could see the tightness in Teshin's jaw, "It's yours."

"Mine? But-"

"I do not have any use for it." Teshin says matter-of-factly. Cam glances at the toy as he sets the bag on the counter. Teshin got him the plush because he saw that Cam wanted it. Teshin got Cam something.

Cam rushed forward and wrapped his arms around Teshin's waist.

"Thank you."

Teshin froze for a moment, then awkwardly patted Cam on the back. Cam pulled away after a few moments, instead clutching his new plush to his chest as Teshin redirected the conversation to why he had asked Cam here in the first place.
