It's been a few hours since we all got here, and the only words exchanged between me and my sister have been about the game we've been playing. Super Dunk Brothers Epic Extreme Super Edition, a game where you pick characters from many different franchises and pit them against each other on a battlefield.

We've been playing online co-op against other players. She's very good. It was our first time playing together, but we've been working together extremely well. So much so that we've been winning maybe around 80% of our matches.

Lan and IF left some time ago, I think they went out on one of the balconies. I almost didn't notice until Lan sent me a text saying they would be outside.

It's almost 11pm at this point and my sister finally sets her controller down and looks me in the eyes.

"We were a pretty good combo! Great job kiddo!" She stretches her hand out into the air ready for a high-five.

"Umm, y-yeah!" we make contact and the satisfying slap echoes in the room.

We put our hands down and her face went through several changes with her mouth opening and closing many times.

"Is something the matter?"

"Well…" She starts and immediately trails off and starts thinking.

"Iffy told me a few things before you got here and it made me think about a lot." I mean, it is a lot to swallow.

"Hearing you lost your memories, I was like 'Whaaaattt!?' It was so unbelievable my face was like 0-0!"

"Haha… I also feel it's a little unbelievable." I just woke up one day in a hospital with no idea who I was or what happened to me. I wasn't very cooperative with the doctors or Lan at first. I thought they were lying to me.

"To think my sister was going through the same thing I did! I almost feel a little proud even, y'know!? ?

"My little Nep Jr. having her own character arc! It was heartwarming!" Whaaaaa

"Wait, so, this whole thing doesn't bother you at all?" Am I overreacting? Is this not a big deal?

I guess she sensed my unease because she started flailing her arms around.

"Th-that's not what I mean! It's like, hmm…" She adopts a very typical thinking pose and I prepare myself.

"I thought you were dead, Nepgear." Of course…

"So the fact that you were alive, living a good life, with support from a good friend made me feel… like a hole was filled? Ahahaha, I don't know what I'm saying! Basically!" She suddenly stands up and reaches her hand out to me.

"I'm just relieved you're alive, Nepgea- oh, wai- it's um Lily right? Aha, my bad" I can see her eyes getting wet as she helps me stand up. Aw man, now I'm gonna cry!

"Either is fine, really."

"Gre-good! Cool! I'm Neptune if you didn't know by now!" She gives me a silly smile and I feel like it broke me.

"Nep-Neptune!" I couldn't stop it anymore. I could feel the tears running down my face worse than earlier.

"Wha-don't cry or-or else I'll start too!" As promised, she started bawling along with me.

"I-I'm sorry! I manage to squeeze out before I devolve into a complete mess.

"Y-y-you dummmmyy!" She hugs me and we both start crying like we were long lost sisters. Oh, we are.

After about 15 minutes we sit back down again and sit in silence just holding hands before Neptune breaks it up.

"Welp! I feel much better now! How about you, kid?" She jumps up and looks at me, clearly refreshed.

*Sniff* "Y-yeah, I think so." I get up as well feeling like she explained earlier 'like a hole was filled'.

"I want to talk and hang out a lot more, but I have serious CPU stuff to do in the morning!" CPU stuff?

"If I don't wake up early Histy will get all Pisty at me. Well, what can you do when you're as popular as me!"

This…might be bad? "Umm, Neptune?" I start to hesitantly ask my, um, sister.

"What's the matter, Jr.?"

"What's a CPU?"

She slowly looks at me and a big smile forms on her face. It can't be what I think it is right?

"Your big sister here happens to be the Goddess of this magnificent Planeptune! I run the show here!"

No way… so that means!

"And you my dear sister are its Goddess Candidate!" Of course I am!

Well, there is but one way to react to any shocking news.

"Guess I'll head back to my hotel for tonight."

"You can stay here, you know? If you want? Your room is exactly how you left it…" She wants me to stay the night it seems, but…

"Sorry, I want to but I can't just leave…uhh… my 'friend' by themselves." He is my friend as well! I'm not lying!

"Ahhh, gotcha! No funny business! Introduce him to me next time! He looks like we'll get along!" I don't even know where to start with that whole sentence.

With that I knock on the balcony door and Lan comes back inside. "Ready to go?" I can see the worry on his face.

I give him a look telling him I'm okay and reply "Yeah, I think so."

We head to the door and I turn back to my sister before we leave.

"Umm, do you think it's okay if we come back tomorrow?" Gosh, I'm so nervous for some reason.

I can see her face light up and she gives me a warm reply "Of course! I know Histy will be happy to see you as well!"

"Great! I-I'll be sure to introduce Lan to you guys next time! For sure!" I will! Probably!

"I can't wait!" She gives us a salute and we head out the door and down the elevator with IF escorting us.

"So? What did you think?" IF asks me during the somewhat long elevator ride.

"I think that…" After meeting her, and playing with her, I really feel like "She really is my sister huh?"

IF burst out laughing. It was a pretty big revelation to me!

"S-sorry, ahaha! I'm just relieved things went well is all." Sure you are.

We make it outside and IF parts ways with us "Well, I'm bushed, so I'll let you two go off by yourselves."

"Wait, don't you have to escort us?" Lan asked, and I was curious as well.

"Nah, I just wanted to spend some extra time with you." Oh. That's not what I was expecting.

"Goodnight guys!" She waves to us as she walks away. Leaving me and Lan alone once again.

"Want to tell me about it while we walk?" Lan offers me his hand while motioning to the street.

"Mhm, sounds good." I grab his hand and swing it back and forth as we walk.

"So?" Looks like he wants all the details. But first…

"I'd love to tell you, I just have to get something out of my system first." It seems Lan predicts what I'm about to do and takes a step back and covers his ears. You get me so well.

"WHAAAAAAAAATTTTT? I'M A GOD!? HOW!? WHAT!? AUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!"

Much better.

Ahhh, I can practically hear her screams from this side of the screen. Excellent! She's finally met Neptune! And everyone is happy forever! Yayyyyy! Maybe? Lily still has to share her past and special someone with Neptune though! Still laughing about it. It's gonna be so awkward! Hopefully I can keep up the pace with writing. As long as this hyper fixation lasts we should be good haha. I also read what you guys wrote about in the comment thingies. I'm very glad you like it!
