 Chapter 16: Connection Error Song(Part 6)

If you've been following along, you know that the Vishanti trio in Earth Dimension 3000-21 consists of Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Stephen Strange.

The three amigos had been through a lot together, as a unit, and we left them just as they wrapped up a group hug. The trio spoke of horizons/happenings that were ahead, and they mapped out three plans with three different routes for them to take.

Steve Rogers made plans to spend time with his best friend, Bucky Barnes, because they all agreed that the "not-so-winter" soldier was slipping off the grid. Steve voiced his concerns, because his bestie was becoming distant and avoiding his apartment as much as possible…

Tony Stark made plans to crash the S.H.A.D.O.W. party, and pay Ezekiel Stane a much needed visit. Those plans were further cemented in the inventor's mind after he watched the little announcement that "Rae-Ann" made to everyone who was connected to S.H.I.E.L.D….

So, Tony planned to move in and play into the role of being Steve's "consultant".

That left one more route, and Stephen Strange made his way to his sister and baby brother. Victor was there at the Kamar taj, and he seemed eager to meet Uatu. He also looked taller. Stephen wanted to tell him that earlier, but his struggle to force Agamotto to cooperate dominated the moment.

He also wanted to tell his sister that she was dressed nicely. Donna was back to wearing some of those fancy designer clothes that she wore all the time back when she was dating Bucky Barnes…

Hmm… the not-so-winter soldier's name crossed his mind once again, because he didn't seem like his normal self. The recent split with Natasha Romanov really did some damage, and Bucky Barnes had been questioning his existence in their dimension for a while.

Stephen knew this, but it was best to send Steve. He was confident the blonde could boost Bucky's spirits, and some good ol' farm work was actually good for the soul.

…

ANYWAY, Stephen smiled at his little sister, and he decided to be a nosy big brother in that moment. They had some time to kill before the meeting with Uatu, so…

"So, are you dating Bucky Barnes again? I felt him hanging around the Kamar taj every now and then."

Stephen's smile was devious. Victor Strange was giving his niece a hug when he heard the question, and he immediately held in his reaction. He loved it when his older siblings squabbled. The baby Strange always did his best to stay out of it, and more often than not, he just watched the show.

It felt just like the good old days. Victor missed the times when his siblings would squabble and bicker over silly stuff. The baby Sorcerer Supreme secretly lived for moments like that, so he held onto a content smile.

"No. Stephen. We aren't dating, again."

Ah. The older brother held onto his charming smile, and he felt his wife gently touch his arm. Stephen's mood was playful. More playful than normal, and Clea Strange attributed the change to Agamotto's presence.

The entity like to toy with others, and assert dominance whenever and wherever he could. Clea was very familiar with it, and Agamotto's history of tormenting Donna Strange ran deep.

"You never told me why you left Bucky's apartment.."

"Because that's none of your business.."

SORRY BIG BRO, but that information was off limits. Donna was extra icy toward her older brother in that moment, because she could feel the increased presence of Agamotto beneath his skin.

She wondered why Stephen gave Agamotto another inch. Give an inch, take a mile? Remember that old saying? Well, Donna Strange recalled what Stephen's Vishanti entity was capable of. Agamotto once used her brother's body to drown her in the family lake.

Donna slowly swallowed when the memory of it returned to her, but she let it pass and she glanced at Clea. Her sister-in-law was told about "Bucky", and she knew more that most, so…

"Are we ready to go?"

Donna felt a little impatient. She planned to go with her family, and any thoughts about James Buchanan Barnes was currently labeled a distraction. The man was obviously thinking things through, and that was ..ok.

It was torture for Donna, but she defined it as being simply "ok". Her eyes migrated to the family's biggest slow poke. Everyone clarified that they were ready to go, except for BABY VICTOR.

His eyes were glued to his cellphone and he was quickly trying to respond to a message that he received from Ezekiel Stane. Victor asked him if he "made up" with Wade Wilson yet. The two of them had some odd vibes going on that morning.

The baby sorcerer asked him about it a couple times throughout the day. He asked him about Wade's reaction to Ezekiel's gender swap too, and he was doing it to tease the "White Jackal".

He was obviously fighting with Wade, and Victor was beyond amused with it…

Uhh, his "Strange" siblings and family members were ready to go. Victor was almost done composing his epic text, and he heard his sister RUDELY tell him to hurry up.

…

"Sisterrrr hold on hold on, hold onnnnn… I'm almost done."

Victor was speed texting Ezekiel, and he sent the message off with a playful grin on his face. Apparently, Wade Wilson was kinda avoiding him? LOL, and he was reading some boring S.H.I.E.L.D. file….

Victor thought it was hilarious, and he hoped to witness Wade and Ezekiel as they worked their issues out at some point…
