No-One But You (The Zephyr Endeavor)
Chapter 22:(s)AINT (Part 2)

The Strange family were still on the moon. They were listening to all sort of reports about countless jurisdictions, and Victor Strange wondered why the giant meeting was a thing.

The reason for the meeting became obvious after a while, because he witnessed a few jurisdictions unite to correct common issues that were going on. OHhhh… so Uatu's role was to "watch" over all the jurisdictions, then it was up to the people reporting to collaborate, correct issues and whatnot.

SOOOooo, the super boring meeting was like a multi-dimensional meet and greet for problem solving. Cool. The baby Strange grew bored of it after a while. He gave up checking his cellphone too, up until he noticed that his brother responded to a text message from someone.

HOW did his phone work? Stephen had a super old cellphone too.. it still had pushable buttons and a dinosaur aged small screen.

Victor moved in a little closer to his brother, and Stephen's sharp eyes snapped in his direction. The baby Sorcerer Supreme whispered a jurisdictionally important question to his big bro…

"How are you texting someone?"

Stephen smirked, then he glanced down at his cell phone. Steve Rogers was one of the only people who texted him, and Stephen responded to a message about something going on in Nebraska.

Victor's question amused Stephen, because the answer was very simple.

"I make the phone work."

Stephen brought his right hand up to his forehead, and he tapped on his noggin four times. He used his mind to control the phone, so the concept of cellphone service was irrelevant.

Oh. WAIT, OHhhhh… so Stephen just, made the phone work? Victor took a second to ponder that. He glanced over in Uatu's direction for a sec, cuz the Watcher was kinda scary. Someone was providing a report about a realm named Muspelheim.

Victor knew that was Thor's turf, so he tried to figure out what his brother did and listen in to the report at the same time. Victor operated in stealth mode, and he told his phone to behave normally. He friggen manifested that shit, willed it to work, and his baby heart soared with joy when a bunch of messages poured in.

Ezekiel sent him a bunch of yummy stuff to process. Victor was absolutely LIVINGGGggg for any sort of communication that came his way about his obvious feels for Wade Wilson.

Shit. Victor quickly hid his phone when Thor Odinson started talking, because the demigod had a super loud voice and it startled the baby Sorcerer Supreme.

Long story short, some "Norn" Queen named Karnilla was doing something annoying in an Asgardian province named Nornheim. Thor said she was an enemy of Asgard, and that he needed help rescuing souls.

"Karnilla doesn't consider herself to be subject to Asgardian rule. Human souls are in need of rescue, and I'm seeking some additional support."

Uhhhhhhh… the large room became way too quiet, and Victor noticed that wayyyy too many people started looking in his direction. Even Thor was standing there, staring at him. Wait, what?

"My brother and I can lend you some support. It will be good for Victor, and a good opportunity for all of us to become better, acquainted …"

The mighty voice of Stephen Strange entered the chat, and Victor's eyes stretched open as wide as the moon. He gulped pretty loudly, then he looked toward his right.

His brother was sitting there, right beside him, and the baby Strange looked directly into his Stephen's eyes. He seemed a little more than sassy as he spoke to Thor. The vibe was weird…

"Asgard is honored and appreciative of your support, Stephen, and for the support of the new Sorcerer Supreme."

Stephen's smirk strengthened, and a similar smirk was stretched across Thor's face. Victor noticed the weird grins, or whatever, and he shrunk back a bit as he processed what was being said.

They were going, where? NORNHEIM? Where was that? When were they going? Forrrr how long?

"Uhh.. how long will we be lending this, support?"

"That doesn't matter."

"Uhh, well… it kinda matters.."

Victor Strange super cringed after he spoke back and forth with his older brother. Stephen's mood was extra icy-dicey for SOME FREAKING REASON, and his sassy Agamotto vibes were off the charts.

Of course it mattered how long he'd be stuck doing some sort of Sorcerer Supreme "Nornheim" work… it felt like an emotional breakthrough was about to happen with Ezekiel, and OF COURE he was going to friggen miss it.

Wade Wilson was going to have all the fun, like always, and Victor was beyond bummed about it. Stephen kept staring at his adorable baby brother, and he gave him an extra salty look…

"Thor, my brother will join you as soon as this meeting concludes. I will catch up with the two of you later on this evening."

The timeframe was actually irrelevant, but Stephen had to discuss some things with his wife and daughter before he could truly commit. Now, VICTOR'S commitment would begin immediately… regardless of all the lovesick shit he had going on with Ezekiel Stane…

Stephen's bitter looking face said it all, so Victor gave the room a sheepish grin.
