Chapter 44: Disposable Teens (Part 4)
Rae-Ann got the OK to leave the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility with the preliminary members of her team.
Wade Wilson made the journey beside the Jackal without any hesitation, while some of the others still seemed on the fence.
Natasha Romanov and Clint Barton were hesitating. They said they wanted to know more about the "Purifiers", while the other two seemed somewhat content.
The Winter Soldier only spoke to Natasha, and Ezekiel picked up that he communicated with her in Russian. The Jackal was fluent in a ton of languages, remember, so he heard every word…

"I explained the Purifiers are militarized. There's heavy artillery and five Iron Mongers beneath the surface of every church. Those details are in the file I've prepared for you. You should look through that file before you enter the church…"

Ezekiel didn't plan to enter the church in Texas until everyone was prepared, but they didn't have time to talk through every single detail. He wanted his team to actually look at the information as it was presented…

"Five Iron Mongers? Seriously?"

Natasha knew the history of the Iron Monger, so she contemplated the numbers. She looked at Bucky Barnes, because he was her plus one. She imagined the Winter Soldier taking on all five of the Iron Mongers.
Yelena and Clint could bring down a few on their own, but it was hard to calculate without knowing how militarized the rest would be..

"Yes. I said five Iron Mongers. Every church is heavily armed, and given protection by Stane Industries."

… Anyway, the Jackal escorted his crew to a secluded area in New Mexico. Clint Barton, Natasha Romanov, Bucky Barnes, and Yelena Belova stood before Rae-Ann and Wade Wilson, where their "mobile suits" were eventually revealed.
Deadpool called them tiny Gundams, but Ezekiel didn't know what that meant. He had the armor lined up for everyone on his team to see. Ezekiel was proud of his tech, and he wanted his team to know that the Purifiers and five Iron Mongers were a minimal threat.

"Every suit has a name. Some of you already know Zephyr, but the rest are named Arachne, Minerva, Shrike, Kheima and… Sevgili."

Ezekiel looked in Wade's direction after that, because he told the infamous Deadpool that he wasn't going to finish making his suit. He said that it was a "work in progress", but…

He lied. The suits were perfect, and the White Jackal was eager to get things going. He stepped toward the newest adaptation of Zephyr, and Ezekiel became a little transfixed. He actually viewed his armor as a home away from home, and he hadn't been in his suit for a long while.

"Each suit has been placed directly beside its new owner, and all you have to do is look at it and tell it what to do. They've been linked to you. It's that simple.."

The Jackal decided to demonstrate. He brought his eyes up to Zephyr's white faceplate, then he simply told the machine to open. His mind handled all of the activation, and his preliminary crew watched the technology assemble over his skin.
Ezekiel levitated upward. That white suit was silent, and it moved quite a bit backward. The Jackal studied everyone on his team. Barton turned toward Shrike, Natasha was looking at Arachne, while Wade turned toward Sevgili.
The Winter Soldier was a special case. Ezekiel knew that he was hard-wired to adapt. Bucky's suit opened first, and Kheima quickly covered his skin.
Yelena Belova looked inquisitive about what was happening, and she seemed on the fence as well. Regardless of that pesky indecision, Minerva and Arachne would stick together. Ezekiel was sure of that.

"After you learn how to put on the suits and move, I want you to chase me. Try to catch me and bring me down."

Say what? Wade blinked a few times beneath his Deadpool suit. He didn't like Ezekiel putting himself in harm's way, and he didn't think he needed any sort of Gundam armor.
BUT, hearing Ezekiel, and after seeing Sevgili again… the notion started making sense.
He wanted to fly up there and chase after Ezekiel. Fuck yeah. Wade was down for that, and he noticed the grand finale was already wearing Kheima. The effingggggg Winter Soldier was set, moving around, and ready to chase.
More like, ready to kill, so Wade figured he had to get his shit in gear. He didn't trust any of them with Ezekiel, so in his mind he told Sevgili to open up.

"So, you want us to follow the white rabbit? Is that what you're saying Shiny?"

"Yes Wade. I want you to follow the white rabbit."

Ezekiel smiled beneath his armor, then before any of them said another word, the Jackal disappeared from the scene. They had a ton of ground to cover, but one of them was already in-tune with his machine.

"On your left."

Bucky spoke to Natasha, then his suit quickly shot off toward the horizon of New Mexico. Wait, the New Mexi-can horizon? Whatever. Wade flipped his shit a little bit. The others were getting all dressed up for the dance and taking off after Ezekiel too.
HOLY Shit sticks, YOOOOoooo… Maximum Effort.
Wade had some adjustments to make with his thoughts, cuz wearing a Gundam suit and flying through the sky was super weird for him.
The technology around him picked up speed at a faster pace than he thought. Wade spaced the chase for a sec, cuz he had to take off after Bucky Fucking Barnes faster than a speeding bullet.
He couldn't have him catching the white rabbit first, and that shit was bananas.
