No-One But You (The Zephyr Endeavor)

Chapter 50: Disposable Teens (Part 10)

Wade effing Wilson actually was cast off toward the moon. The mercenary had never spent even a millisecond outside the atmosphere of planet Earth before, so, it's safe to say he really freaked out.

Yeah, he mega freaked out, and he actually pissed himself once his body stopped spinning around in some crazy wizard orbit.

Luckily for him, Sevgili recognized what was happening. The suit quickly flipped the situation around, and it had him heading back toward Ezekiel with ease.

The suit even gave Deadpool a mild dose of something called Aconitum napellus, which helped alleviate his anxiety.

SUPER COOL. Wade didn't mind pissing himself then, and it felt like he was on Easy Street as he started making his way back to Earth. The journey was cosmic, and beautiful, but entering the atmosphere caused his nerves to spike once again.

The suit took care of all that, so WHOOOAAaaa. Wade's brain felt like butter by the time he reached the coordinates for Ezekiel's suit, because apparently Zephyr was luring him in like a homing beacon.

Sevgili reached its destination and Wade gave him a spaced out looking smile. Uhhh… Ezekiel didn't see the smile at all. Wade forgot, so he removed the top half of his suit.

He checked out everything that he could see, and Wade made sure nobody laid a finger on Ezekiel/Rae-Ann before he said anything… cuz if they did, SOMEONE WAS GUNNA GET FUCKED THE FUCK UP.

Victor Strange killed the silence. He simply said hello, and he gave Wade a tiny wave. Victor was acting ALL CUTE, as if Wade would forgive him or something. They might have hooked up once, twice, or thrice, but that didn't mean jack shit when a person was cast off toward the moon.

"You pull that shit on me again, and we're doing some non-sexy shit. Comprende, Wizard Boy?"

That CUTIE laughed out loud and smiled at him, so Wade looked around and studied the rest of the vibe.

Clint Barton looked like a deer caught in some headlights. The archer was super silent for some reason, but Wade didn't give a fuck. He also didn't give a fuck about all the other super troopers who were standing around, looking bored. Just take your toys and SCRAM.

"Wanna ditch this shit? I kinda pissed myself back on the ACTUAL MOON, so I'd like to take a shower..."

Yeah, Wade was bitter, but he definitely noticed Rae-Ann's gentle, soft, and super delicate laugh. She tried to hide her mouth with the side of her hand too, and she actually laughed at what Wade said out loud.

"That's not a bad idea Wade. You four can continue practicing with your suits out here if you feel it's necessary. Wade and I will remain here in New Mexico until you've all confirmed that you're ready.."

Someone might have questions? Who knew? Rae-Ann spoke to S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents Barton, Romanov, Belova and Barnes, but he didn't expect much of a response. The Jackal would know of their movements if they didn't report their progress to him…

Either way, Ezekiel planned to move in on every church in unison, so until that happened, the White Jackal turned his entire focus toward Wade.

"There's a fancy hotel east from here. You can shower there Wade, and Victor… you can join us?"

Ezekiel wasn't sure what the newest embodiment of the Sorcerer Supreme had on his agenda. Victor's demeanor was a bit unreadable in that moment as well, so his answer was hard to predict.

"Thank you for the invite, but I actually have to head back to Asgard. My brother is currently trolling me there, but… I'm glad you two aren't fighting anymore."

Clearly, Ezekiel and Wade made up. Lucky ducksssssss. They were bickering and acting all weird when Victor saw them last. The baby Strange decided to just focus on the two of them, cuz even accidentally glancing in SOMEONE'S general direction just broke his tender heart into a million more pieces….

Victor wanted to leave ASAP, so…

"Victor, it's been over a week since we last saw you. I forgot all about that…"

LOL. Ezekiel felt amused with what he heard. He was annoyed with Wade a while ago, but spending a week with the talkative mercenary ultimately corrected their… "dispute."

Victor seemed more than surprised to hear that a week had flown by. He freaked out a little bit, and he mentioned once again that his older brother was "trolling" him. Ezekiel didn't understand what that meant, so…

Well, "Agent" Barton remained silent as Victor said his goodbyes to most of the people in the group. He avoided any sort of eye contact with him as well, and he said nothing after Victor eventually disappeared.

Truthfully speaking, the archer wanted Ezekiel and his psycho pet boyfriend to take off and go do whatever it was they planned to do. He felt like being alone, because the information he received was definitely something to process…
