The archer didn't know HOW to take that information. He just mentally retraced his steps, and he thought over his own behavior when the three of them were there, at the safe house.

Yeah, I mean, he started crushing pretty hard later on, but in the beginning he just remembered Victor being funny, weird, and … cute.

He was super into Ezekiel tho, more like….obsessed. Right from the start, the baby bird watched Victor get sucked into some sort of love void. That void got even worse after Ezekiel disappeared on him, or whatever…

Fuck. The archer dove in way too close to the rest of the group, and he found himself being kicked right in the face. A reality check hit quick, cuz the heel to Deadpool's armor made contact with Shrike's faceplate. Wade Wilson sent that suit packing, and spinning off toward oblivion.

Barton recovered quickly tho, but all four of them were having a tough time getting Mr. Psycho's moves dialed in.

Wade was waaaaayyyyyyy too fast and crazy. It was so hard to get a read on where he was going, or WHO he was going for, then BAM.. there he fucking was, right in your face.

It didn't matter if there were twenty people there to stop him, cuz the guy cut straight through the space around him like a hot knife through butter.

The only one that could truly keep up was Bucky Barnes, but without the suit? No way..

That freak was off the rails man. Yelena had to stop beside the archer for a moment and smell the roses. She looked over at Shrike, then she asked the blonde inside if he'd ever seen anything like it before. Deadpool was beyond insane, and now that he had some cool tricked out armor on?

Yeeeaaaahhhh… good luck facing him out there in the wild. The whole thing was crazy, and just how someone planned it. The archer gave Yelena a simple response, then he glanced up toward a fancy white suit.

Ezekiel was watching the show as well, but he was composing a message at the same time. He wanted Victor to know about his failed attempt to reconcile with his "friendly" ex roommate/boyfriend, but….

The failure was more than brutal, so the Jackal changed his mind. He hadn't heard back from Victor at that point anyway, so he decided against it and he continued to watch Wade interact with the rest of the group.

They all were moving really well within their suits. Ezekiel was glad to see it, so he sent Sevgili another message that was off the books. He told Wade that he wanted to leave…

His failure to mend things with Clint Barton was beginning to get to him, and Ezekiel didn't want to be there and face his defeat.

Wade's eyes skimmed the message, then he immediately turned his head in Zephyr's direction. The two of them were gone in an instant, and the rest of the group didn't expect that to happen.

Whoa yo, they just zipped off somewhere, and it left the group pretty bewildered.

That's how things were going to be going forward, because the White Jackal planned to operate himself more at a distance. His constant defeats were a little more than overwhelming, and he almost told Wade about it when he removed his suit.

Ezekiel hugged his own arms over his chest. They were back at the hotel room, and he just thought over everything that Agent Barton said. What he didn't say made everything worse, and the thoughts were slowly beginning to haunt him.

Wade noticed Ezekiel's posture straight away, and he could tell that his demeanor had definitely changed.

Sevgili disappeared from his skin, and Wade's hands touched the sides of his arms. The baby Jackal was definitely disassociating where he stood, so the feel of Wade's suuuperrr warm hands made him suck in a short breath.

Ezekiel stepped backward a bit. He felt Wade's body behind him, but he continued to zone out and overthink.
