No-One But You (The Zephyr Endeavor)
Chapter 65: We're From America (Part 5)

The attack on Nornheim finally became a thing, and Karnilla kept summoning up some demonic looking… rock creatures. They were resistant for a while, but Thor's crew of eight managed to push them back with ease.

Victor was finally in it to win it, and distraction free. He was using the Cloak of Levitation to bring him in close to Karnilla. Thor wanted the Queen of "Nornheim" brought into custody, while the rest of the group did what they could to release the human souls that she had under her control.

The demigod was just up ahead. Victor saw him use his hammer against Karnilla, then he gave the Strange brothers the signal they'd been waiting for.

Stephen and Victor made the same arm gestures in perfect unison, and together they locked their energy onto Thor's opponent. They wanted to seal her powers and get her under control before someone named Hela had a moment to intervene.

The chances of her showing up increased tremendously, because Karnilla's voice suddenly cut through the space like it were an atom bomb. She put so much force into her voice, it must have traveled outward and hit areas that were light years away.

No joke.

The impact of her voice, and that loud friggen shriek she made almost sent Victor flying, but the baby Strange held his weight and stayed put.

Clea and Sofia were with the Warriors Three. They were collecting the human souls and sending them back to Earth, but one by one they all looked back toward the sound of Karnilla's sudden scream.

Upon hearing that, Clea Strange had a bad feeling. She quickly looked at her daughter Sofia, then her focus returned to the three men who were surrounding the Nornheim Queen.

Stephen, Victor, and Thor were too close. For some reason that thought crossed her mind. Her entire body turned in their direction, then she took off and shot up into the sky.

Clea started heading up, just as someone else started crashing down. The clash took place way above Stephen's head, but he could see that his wife stopped Hela from reaching their spell.

From Victor's angle, all he could see were clashing sparks that were purple and dark green. He couldn't see that the Hela, the Goddess of Death, was just abruptly challenged by Clea.

That sparked a reaction out of Stephen, naturally, because he didn't want his wife fighting anyone alone, especially someone as powerful as Hela.

They almost had Karnilla's power contained, so the former Sorcerer Supreme yelled out for his daughter. He told Sofia to take his place, and that shit happened fast.

Like clockwork, Victor saw Sofia add her energy into her father's spell, then his brother took off upward and toward what looked like the heavens.

Victor kept staring up, but all he could see was an insane looking swirl of purple, green and blue light. Normally his brother's energy was green, but…

Whoa whoa whoaaaa, his amulet started going haywire, so Victor knew that it had something to do with Agamotto. He managed to step closer toward Karnilla, and shit was getting even more crazy.

It felt like the world beneath them was breaking, or something. Shit was hitting the fan at every possible angle.

Victor was wayyy too distracted with what was happening, so he missed the feeling of his cellphone as it gently buzzed around in his back pocket.

Wait, what? HIS PHONE SAID WHAT?…

Talk about some bad timing, and his baby heart was about to burst. Victor's phone was connected to his mind, so his mind did "receive" the SUPER random message from Clint Barton.

The baby Strange almost had a heart attack where he stood, but he didn't have a moment to actually process what it said.
