Chapter 32: The Power of Love (Part 2)
That 20 minute alarm scared the shit out of Wade Wilson, and he screamed like a five-year-old as soon as the sound hit his ears.
Ezekiel looked jumpy as well, but he didn't scream like a child. In fact, he laughed at Wade's reaction, and the mercenary noticed that his laugh was getting louder…
Hoo hooooo… how cute. The man was beyond glad to hear it. He also felt much happier, mainly because of Ezekiel's company, and the easy breezy communication between them was making Wade's soul feel a million times lighter.

"NOW, you don't move or touch anything. I'll be right back."

Wade stood up quickly, and that meant Ezekiel was unexpectedly picked up with him. The baby Jackal didn't expect to suddenly venture up into the air, but… it happened.
The mercenary just casually picked him up and moved him back toward the kitchen as if he weighed nothing. Well, the quiet coyote was as light as a feather, and Wade made him sit on the countertop beside the fridge.
DON'T. EFFING. MOVE.
Wade gave the baby Jackal a look that clearly meant business, cuz he had some things to dig out of the goodie bag as well. It wasn't a bullshit timer, but he still planned to use it and continue their conversation.
Ezekiel watched him leave, and his thoughts suddenly raced over what he unexpectedly confessed. He told Wade a filthy dark secret, and…Ezekiel reacted to his own behavior in two ways.
First, he wanted to clarify something about what he said, because Wade seemed to think that he wanted to hook up with Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.
Wade's interpretation of the situation wasn't technically accurate. He didn't want to "fuck" them… there was definitely more to it than that.

Uhhh, and secondly, Ezekiel wanted to friggen die because of what he revealed … and the reason why his mind hit that extreme had to do with the timing of him finally using the Mind Stone.
The baby Jackal was actually agonizing and freaking out over what he openly admitted, and Wade caught a glimpse of that on his face after he returned.

"WADE, I should clarify what I told you. I can't take it back, but…I need to clear something up…"

Ezekiel fucking wished he could go back and delete his words somehow. Wade was hiding something behind his back when he returned too, but the Jackal started saying something cute and kinda weird. He wants to clarify? How funny….

"There's no crying in baseball. You wanna fuck um, and I can see why. I'm right there with you, Shiny. I get it."

"NO, I don't… that's very inaccurate."

Ezekiel was beyond embarrassed, and he wasn't sure how to move forward until things were properly clarified. He didn't even try to look at what Wade was hiding behind his back either, because the odds dictated that he was holding onto something crazy…

"C'mon just friggen say it. You said you wanted to be them, and be with them, or something. So, what's inaccurate about that?"

Wade didn't get it, but he playfully moved in and he started kissing on his adorable fiancé's burning hot neck. The baby Jackal was really spazzing out, and the mercenary was a million times more comfortable with talking about how he felt.
The infamous Deadpool didn't hide anything from anyone about anything, and honestly the notion was somewhat refreshing. Ezekiel thought it over for a bit, then he brought his arms around those broad shoulders…

"It's more accurate to say that I… I came out of that situation emotionally wanting to… be…"

"Tony Stark."

"I wanted to emulate everything I was… seeing. I don't want to necessarily be intimate with, him."

AND NOW the notion of dying suddenly returned to Ezekiel's mind, because the Mind Stone was still alive and well in his head, and it's safe to say the baby Jackal was freaking out about that.
Wade Wilson didn't understand why he was freaking out, but the man could clearly see that Ezekiel was not having a good time confessing all his dirty sins.
Soooooo… he wanted to "be" Tony? Ok? Cool, don't we all? Starknado was sexy as fuck, and smart as hell. He was super cool too, suave, rich, and fucking fun…

Hold up. Hold up. Pump the brakes there "Zeke" and someone cue the kangaroos.
Waaaaaaiiiittttttt a minute. WAIT. A filthy thought about Captain Fantastic finally struck Wade's dirty mind, and suddenly it seemed like he finally processed what Ezekiel Stane was actually saying.

"OHHHHH YOU MEAN YOU WANNA GET FUCKED BY MR. STARS AND STRIPES HIMSELFFFF…. OH SHIT YO, I SEE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING NOW…"

Wade's voice could have woken up the entire country of Japan if they were asleep. Ezekiel immediately gasped at what that loud mouth blurted out, and he roughly cupped his hands over the man's mouth.
He told Wade to shut his damn mouth, but all he heard was some goofy laugh beneath his hands, and then the mercenary got all handsy with him. Wade wiggled out of Ezekiel's grip too and he forced his face to be freee…

"LOOK, it's OKAY, Shiny. I wanna get fucked by Captain sexy-pants too. We all do. One time, I was in a cab with him, and just the smell of him was enough to keep me going for hours…OH YEAH, and I saw the two of them too… at a club. Do you think they'd wanna double date?"

"Will you keep your voice down? I'm sure someone heard you in outer space…"

"That chess stuff makes a lot more sense now. Was that your way of flirting? Fuhhkk I'm gunna ask them if we can double date…"

UGH. NO. STOP. It wasn't like that. Ezekiel quickly covered both of his eyes and he almost kicked Wade off of him with his feet. That confession was beyoooonnndd being a mistake, and Ezekiel wanted to scream.
I mean, think about it… who gave him the Mind Stone? TONY STARK, and Ezekiel wasn't a friggen idiot. He knew exactly why the "Iron Man" gave him that Infinity Stone… and it had absolutely nothing to do with improving his skills or keeping him safe.
They weren't fucking friends, or allies….
Deep down, Ezekiel knew they would always be enemies… and Tony Stark gave him that stone to keep tabs on him. That's exactly why Ezekiel barely used it. He didn't feel ready, and he didn't want Tony knowing certain things…
Wade was more or less hitting the nail on the head with his loud and gleeful talk about Steve Rogers.
The baby Jackal was deeply attracted to him, and he came out of his surveillance "work" wanting to experience everything Tony had, so…now Ezekiel felt like a mess.
