Wade Wilson was an impatient man. He was pacing a trail back, forth, and throughout Charles Xavier's office as they waited for Steve Rogers.

The mutant freak-shrink barely said anything after Deadpool arrived too, because Xavier and Wade weren't particularly close. In fact, they might have hated one another, hmm….

Wade kept looking over at Xavier too, and he asked him if he picked up anything over the psychic hot-line as well. Can't he try using Cerebro again? What if their minds became available, or whatever.
The mercenary was really freaking out. And he almost pissed himself when the office door finally opened. Steve Rogers was doing everything he could to help the mutants in Colorado, but then there he was in the flesh.

"My armor is directly linked to Tony's, so I can give us some insight into what he was doing way off in Antarctica."

Steve Rogers just kinda … took over. There was no greeting from him, or no warm and cuddly intro at all. "Captain America" was allll business, and Wade was more than here for it. He jumped up, actually, and he parked himself just a half-step away from Steve.
The blonde asked something called "Jarvis" to show him the live feed from Tony's suit as he arrived in Antarctica, and he said he wanted to see everything that Tony had been working on for the past 24 hours.
Wade heard a sincere sounding voice respond to Steve's request, and the mercenary thought to himself that he was really getting a feel for the mobile suit Gundam stuff.
He liked having Sevgili respond to every passing thought. OH LOOK, a bunch of images and videos started popping up and filling out the space that was around Steve.
The soldier boy started weeding through all of Tony's content, and he asked Jarvis to take him through what happened before Tony's technology went offline.
All of that was so beyond cool. Wade just watched in awe, and his heart stopped beating or something when his goofy eyes happened upon Ezekiel's suit. From Tony Stark's live feed, he could see Zephyr just up ahead.
They all heard Tony speak to Ezekiel. First he teased him about playing in the snow, then it seemed like Starknado made some sort of random discovery…

"Yo, Led Zeppelin, who designed the mask of the Iron Monger? Was it you, or your father?"

Wade cracked a laugh at the Led Zeppelin thing, then he fished some popcorn out of the ether. His eyes followed Tony's viewpoint and his big ol' heart stopped again when he heard Ezekiel's voice. It was his voice, not Rae-Ann's, and the mercenary lived for moments when he could hear his actual voice. It always felt exclusive, and yummy whenever he heard it…

"The face of the Monger is my father's design, but it's based on older versions of your armor."

Steve Rogers killed the mood, because he thanked the all-knowing Jarvis for providing the information that was needed. Sexy Pants pulled over the image Tony took of the Iron Mongers, and he saw the search Tony conducted to find someone who had features that resembled the bulky machine...
Wade Wilson, Steve Rogers, and Charles Xavier all saw the results that Tony came up with, then they all heard the vague statement that the brunette said to Ezekiel Stane.

"I have officially found the invisible man. You know, the guy you've been working for since you were in diapers…"

The image they were looking at, and all of Tony's research, amounted to images of a man named Victor Von Doom. "Doctor" Doom was the name that Steve Rogers started saying out loud, but that was someone Wade Wilson had never encountered before.
He didn't know anything about him, so he brought his hand up to one of the shiny screens and he made it bigger. He looked at "Doctor Doom" and his crazy cool image. Hold up. Hold up. What the fuck did it all mean?

"So wait. Ok, this, Darth Vader meets Robin Hood looking fucker is doing, what exactly? What does he want with Shiny?"

Deadpool was trying to follow along, but his eyes returned to the live feed that was toward his left. He could see the Iron Mongers as they collided with Tony's armor, and for a brief moment, he could see that Ezekiel was right beside him.
He was minutes away from being there, more like seconds away from that crazy mess. They both were gone in an instant, and Wade hated himself for not protecting him…
