Anywhooooo… Ezekiel Stane's routine little chit-chat with Charles Xavier ended faster than normal, and Wade Wilson was taken by surprise when he saw the quiet coyote enter the long hallway.
Hooraaayyyy, Wade cheered as soon as he saw him too… then he hopped over toward the baby Jackal and he did a goofy little spin.
lol. Ezekiel smiled as Wade approached him. The mercenary wasn't wearing his mask, and he thought about asking him why. Why oh why was Wade Wilson showing his face? One could only wonder…

Uhmaaah… the conversation with Xavier was, interesting, but Ezekiel thought the brevity of it was unexpected as well. His thought process on that was cut short, because the baby Jackal found himself being pulled into a kiss.
Suddenly being "legit" changed everything for Wade. He absolutely had to kiss his cute lil fiancé, and the mercenary was about to tell him what he accomplished.
They had a double date to attend soon, and Wade was over the moon and back about it. That means he was as overjoyed as a person could get, and all of those warm and fuzzy feelings were put into that kiss.
Oh whoa whoaaaa… Ezekiel wasn't expecting all the love vibes to suddenly head in his direction, but the baby Jackal was getting used to it. Wade was such a loverrrrr, and his energy was always super warm and off the charts.
The mercenary started getting all handsy too, and he was doing everything he could to reel his quiet coyote in all close. The kiss was good, and who cares if they were seen like that at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base… who effing caressssss.

Wade certainly didn't, so he touched Ezekiel's cute little face, and he held it in his gloved hands for as long as he could. Uhmahhh… the baby Jackal just leaned into it for a moment, but ultimately his nerves got the best of him.
Ezekiel took a step back from Wade's romantic advance, then he took a slow look up toward his uncovered face. Tony Stark's technology was still hard at work… right?

Maybe? There wasn't any trace of his technology there, and the Jackal realized that a long time ago. Ezekiel wanted to bring that up to Tony Stark, but it never felt like a good time to speak to him about it.
Hmm… the baby Jackal's smile faded a bit after that. The word "fragile" struck his mind once again, and for some reason he couldn't shake the thought.
Wade wasn't very in-tune with the sudden silence, because the man wasn't a mind reader and he never planned to be one. He did know faces tho, and Ezekiel's face dropped back down to looking somber.

"I have news to share with you Shiny, are you ready for it?"

Could they go home too? Wade started thinking that he wanted to head back to his place. Not to fool around or anything like that, but… just to chill…
The mercenary said the words , and Ezekiel was processing that and trying to translate what it meant. He gave Wade a puzzled look, then he smiled at the thought of hearing his news.

"I'm ready for it Wade."

Ezekiel started walking away from the small office Charles Xavier borrowed once a week. The "White Jackal" started making his exit from the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility, and his romantic protector followed him just a half-step toward his right.
Wade had a bit more pep in his step that morning. The mercenary was feeling good, and happy to report what he recently arranged with Steve Rogers. The infamous Deadpool didn't have a care in the world, up until he finally told the "quiet coyote" what he did…

"I have successfully arranged our double date. Tony and Steve actually said yes, can you believe it? Sexy-pants even gave me his phone number too, and he said I can text him or call anytime. I never imagined Captain America actually saying those words to me, so… I have to say that I got a bit choked up toward the end of our chat. OH, and they didn't wanna go anywhere like the Barracuda, so I'm thinking we can do something … classy? You and Tony are both ritzy, and elegant… so maybe we can go with that vibe…"

Wade just kept walking beside Ezekiel, and he shared all of that information as they made their way out of the building. The Jackal's soul felt somewhat crushed after the first sentence left his mouth… then the rest of Wade's words piled on top of that like a ton of bricks…

Hold the fuck up. Ezekiel's brain began to spin for a second. He glanced down at the floor to steady himself. PLEASE TELL ME WADE DID NOT…

"I'm not joking, I thought that's what you wanted? Or… well… I mean, they're both into it. Tony actually agreed to it first. In fact, toward the end of the call… he said that he even wanted to talk to you about some Mind Stone? So, this is cool! Right?"

Wade felt beyond excited, but the look on Ezekiel's face was a bit concerning. The baby Jackal didn't look too happy to hear the news, and Wade didn't seem to understand why.
Ohhhhhhh wow. Ezekiel looked around for a chair, because suddenly the baby Jackal felt as if he needed to sit down. Yeah, sure… Tony Stark was definitely "into it"… and he certainly wanted to talk about the Mind Stone…
Ezekiel wanted to scream and throw up at the same exact time. The information he heard was just too much, and Wade's chipper attitude about everything was making it worse.

"WADE, Tony Stark doesn't want to go on some double date with me. You can't be that stupid… and this is not what I wanted at all. This is what YOU wanted. You don't listen to me for SHIT, and I think I'm going to pass out…"

For real, Ezekiel felt dizzy. He touched his forehead off and on, then he just stopped moving entirely. Whoa whoa whoa whoaaa… Wade heard that snap back, and the mercenary gasped out like a dying cow once again.

"You're telling me that I DON'T LISTEN? Listen to what? The air? You don't fucking say anything for me to hear….AND WHY WOULDN'T TONY STARK WANNA GO OUT ON A DATE WITH US?"

Fuck that. Wade was not about to hear that he didn't listen. Okay, maybe he didn't expertly listen, but he did LISTEN whenever Ezekiel Stane fucking spoke to him.
Hold up. The mercenary tried to retrace his steps and recall the facts about their double date conversation. Soooo what was actually said between them?
They were in Japan when the subject was initially brought up, so Wade only remembered all the freaky sex stuff. WAIT, they really slowed things down when they last hooked up too, so Wade's filthy mind ventured off on that.
Ezekiel did his best to steady himself, then he fired a look up at Wade with an angry expression. UGH he fucking pushed the mercenary back by his big bulky chest. How stupid can he be? FOR REAL.

"Just, GET A FUCKING CLUE. Tony and I don't actually get along, and I'm sure he knows all about what I told you… He uses the Mind Stone to keep tabs on me, got it? We're not friends, Wade… so, I need to go."

Ezekiel needed to leave immediately. His mind, body, and soul was on overdrive… and Wade's ignorance was getting on his last nerve.
His face was covered with his hands at that point, and he completely ignored the mercenary's attempt to keep the two of them together. Wade didn't want Ezekiel going anywhere, but his attempt to keep him there failed miserably.
The baby Jackal was gone in an instant, and… uhh… Wade wasn't a fan of suddenly being ditched.
Wait.. was he just dumped? Is that what went down?
Holy fuck sauce people… the vibes were going crazy out there in the wild. The infamous Deadpool didn't expect to get that reaction at allll… I mean, whoa.
