Welcome everyone to my Spiderman OC story where I believe in my delusional mind that I can write a story better than Comic Book writers which may actually be true. But anyway I hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful Christmas and that you enjoy this new story.

Chapter 1 - The Spiderman

Forest Hills Queens New York April 12th

An alarm ran through the bedroom of Drake Dawson who laid in his bed groaning as he reached over to snooze his alarm. Drake slowly sat up in his bed stretching out his limbs before kicking his covers off his body and getting up out of bed. Drake yawned, stretching his arms once more before walking into the bathroom connected to his room flipping the switch turning on the light. Drake leaned against his sink looking into his mirror and at his own reflection. His black hair was a mess, his green eyes looked tired so he turned on the sinks hot water splashing some onto his face sighing before grabbing a rag to dry his face.

Meanwhile downstairs Drake's father James Dawson was changing a lightbulb in the kitchen. "Then god said let there be light." Once the bulb was secured it lit up. "Wallah. There is light." James climbed down his step stool. "Honey, is Drake awake yet?"

Jasmine Dawson, Drake's mother and James's wife walked over to the dinner table placing a plate of hash browns and an omelet down. "I'm sure he's awake. Now like that boy, sit down and eat. You'll have a long day ahead of you and so do I. The office will be busy as always I'm sure."

James smiled as he sat down to eat his breakfast. "Yeah considering Mrs Hardy is making those investments." As James ate he looked at his wife. "Oh yeah Conrad is coming to pick me up and drive me to the station this morning." He took a bite of his hash browns. "Hopefully I'll be home in time for dinner."

Soon Drake came downstairs wearing a blue t-shirt, gray jacket and blue jeans. "Hey..morning mom..morning dad.." Drake walked over to the table grabbing a piece of toast.

Jasmine looked at Drake. "You should eat a full breakfast this morning."

Drake munched on his toast. "I would but I gotta hurry and get to school. We have that field trip to the Oscorp Genetics labs today." Drake put on his sneakers before standing up and going to the door. "I'll see you guys after school."

James looked at Drake. "Try and stay out of trouble son!" James sighed looking at his wife once the door closed. "Teenagers..it isn't like how when we were kids I'm telling ya."

Oscorp Genetics Labs

Drake stood outside the genetics lab that Oscorp reportedly uses to test the effects of genetic modifications on other species. Drake sighed as he walked up the steps but smiled the moment he saw a couple familiar faces. "Peter! Gwen! Harry!"

The three friends of Drake turned around and each had a smile as Peter Parker, who was wearing his usual ensemble blue slacks, white button up shirt, black sweater vest and red tie looked at Drake. "Hey Drake I didn't think you'd make it considering you haven't been..around lately."

Drake rolled his eyes. "I know I know. I've been off but with the Flash Thompson is making it his life's goal to ruin mine."

Harry Osborn wearing a red shirt under a dark green coat, blue jeans had patted Drake's shoulder. "Yeah but you can't run away forever. Well..you can try but."

Gwen Stacy quickly interjected. "I really wouldn't recommend it." She was wearing her usual turtle neck, argyle sweater, and classic trench coat, she was also wearing a miniskirt and thigh high boots.

Drake sighed. "Okay. Okay. Okay! I get it, can we please not talk about this for right now. I would really like to just try and focus on this exhibit please." Drake backed up the steps as he dropped his arms to his sides.

Harry laughed before he would drape his arm around Drake's neck. "Alright. Alright we'll drop it." Harry walked beside Drake up the steps as Gwen and Peter joined them. "Come on, let's get this trip over with."

Inside Oscorp Genetics Lab

Drake looked at the small little pods that contained a spider inside them as the guide explained each of them. "There are over 32,000 known species of spider in the world. They're in the order Araneae, divided into three suborders. Arachnids from all three groups possess varying strengths which help them in their constant search for food. For example, the Delena spider, family Sparassidae, has the ability to jump to catch its prey." The spider she was showing had jumped from one small branch to another as she motioned to the next spider. "Next, we have the net web spider, family Filistatidae genus Kukulcania. It spins an intricate funnel shaped web whose strands have a tensile strength proportionately equal to the type of high tension wire."

Drake looked at spiders and the webbing and was genuinely impressed with the abilities they possessed. "Cool.."

"This grass spider hunts using reflexes with nerve-conduction velocity so fast that some researchers believe it almost borders on precognition." The guide said as she looked at the group of students.

Peter raised a brow curiously. "Like a sort of..Spider Sense?"

"Mhm." The guide smiled as she moved to the next cases which were fifteen in count. "Over five painstaking years, Columbia's genetic research facility has allowed our scientists to transfer RNA to encode an entirely new genome combining the genetic information from all three into these 15 genetically designed super-spiders."

Gwen looked at one of the cases but the problem was there wasn't one inside it. "There's fourteen."

"Pardon?"

Gwen pointed to the case. "One's missing."

The guide looked confused at the case. "Oh..I guess the researchers decided to take one out in order to run some tests."

Drake didn't believe that entirely, in his mind the spider must've slipped away but what kinda harm could it cause right but, he was proven wrong as he sudden;y felt a pinching feeling on his hand. "Ow!" He looked to see a spider scurrying away and it had bit his hand just above his thumb.

Peter looked at Drake and looked worried. "Are you okay Drake?"

Drake nodded. "Yeah..I'm..I'm okay." Drake rubbed his hand believing it was nothing as he followed Peter and tried to focus on the rest of the trip.

But throughout the trip Drake felt increasingly unwell, his vision grew blurry, his stomach felt like it was in knots, his hand where he was bitten ached. He thought that maybe he was just sick after that spider bite and he would be fine tomorrow but, his head started spinning like crazy. He managed to force himself through the rest of the trip despite Harry, Gwen and Peter noticing Drake's sudden illness or what they perceived to be maybe exhaustion.

Forest Hills Queens New York

After the trip Drake had said his goodbyes to his friends and made his way home walking through the door of his parents house. "I'm home.." Drake didn't hear any reply which meant his parents weren't home just yet.

Drake walked through the living room and up the stairs to his bedroom, closing his door before removing his jacket and shirt, dropping them on the floor. Drake felt a wave of pain shoot through his body as he collapsed against his bed barley climbing into it as he gritted his teeth. He could feel his whole body scream as if it was being ripped apart, piece by piece it was slow, agonizing and it was almost like it was happening to his DNA. He just wanted it to stop before it possibly killed him.

The Next Morning

But the next morning Drake woke up to his alarm finding himself on his floor slowly getting up as he hit his snooze button. Drake slowly stood up and walked to his bathroom turning on the light and then finally looked in the mirror. He noticed his body was..different. It was defined..but he doesn't usually work out so he looked over himself and noticed his body had..actually changed.

There was a knock on his door. "Drake?" His mother's voice came through. "Are you alright?"

Drake turned back to his mirror and smiled. "I'm uh..I'm fine."

"Are you sure? Any change?"

Drake smiled more. "Change?" He looked at his body. "Yup. Big change."

"Well hurry down for breakfast." Jasmine's footsteps slowly echoed as she seemed to walk away.

Drake smiled. "Okay."

Downstairs James was sitting at the table drinking his coffee as Drake made his way downstairs running along the wall at the bottom before landing on the floor as James looked at him smiling. "Well, it looks like someone is feeling pretty good this morning."

Drake smiled as he looked at his dad. "Yeah. I guess I just needed a good night's sleep."

Jasmine smiled at her son. "Good to see you're up and about."

Drake grabbed his jacket, slinging it over his shoulder. "Alright I gotta go. I got to meet Peter at Doctor Connors lab. I'll see you guys when I get home!" Drake left through the front door running down the sidewalk.

James smiled as he looked at his wife. "Teenagers. Raging hormones. They never change." He ate his breakfast.

Queens New York

Drake walked down the sidewalk as he felt really good and he didn't truly know why since yesterday he felt like he had been drowned in a sea of pain and nausea. Drake kept walking down the sidewalk until he felt a strange sensation in the back of his mind, he could suddenly feel everything around him, the vender about to drop a bottle of mustard, the man turning the page of his news paper, the woman taking a drink from her coffee at the cafe, and the car that was about to hit him. Drake, out of pure instinct, jumped off to the side as a car crashed into the newspaper stand.

Drake looked at the car in surprise as he saw the driver climbing out of the car and he couldn't believe that he almost got hit. "That was close. Almost..too close."

Drake walked into an alleyway as he tried to rationalize how he had that sudden sense of danger without even knowing it. Drake looked at his hands and he saw something, he saw what looked like small spikes poking from his skin. He slowly turned to face the wall of the building behind him and out of a hunch he placed his fingers against it. He could feel his hands sticking to the wall, and he slowly started to actually climb up the side of the wall just like an actual spider.

Drake looked down at the ground and smiled. "Woohoo!" Drake had climbed to the roofs and was running across from them leaping over the gaps of the building. Drake ran across another rooftop and leapt over the gap but skidded to a stop as he looked over the edge. The jump wasn't as easy as it had been for those last few jumps.

He looked at the other buildings and sighed backing up to the other edge. "Okay..I can do this..let's go!" Drake ran to the edge of the building and leapt off the roof.

Drake made it halfway over the gap but he suddenly began falling and screamed quickly grabbing onto a clothesline which snapped from one building allowing him to swing. Drake swung across the gap letting go of the line and managing to grab a fire escape. Unexpectedly he crushed the metal in his grip which surprised him but Drake let go landing on his feet.

He looked around and sighed. "Okay…That was something else."

It didn't take him long to realize that he was supposed to meet Peter so he quickly ran down the sidewalk as fast as possible.

Outside Doctor Curt Connors Labs

Drake ran up to find Peter standing at the bus stop. "Peter! Hey!"

Peter turned around looking at Drake. "What took you so long? You were supposed to meet me here an hour ago."

Drake stopped panting trying to catch his breath. "I know. I know. But I got something big to tell you."

Peter raised a brow. "What would that be?"

Drake finally caught his breath. "Not here. Come on, I think I know a place."

Old Warehouse District Queens New York

Drake had brought Peter to an old worn out warehouse which Peter wasn't too keen on. "Drake, is there a reason you brought me here?"

Drake turned around. "Yeah I think something has..changed."

"Changed?"

Drake nodded. "Yeah, remember that spider exhibit at Oscorp?" When Peter nodded Drake continued. "One of the spiders, the one that escaped, actually bit me!"

Peter jumped back in shock. "What?!"

Drake showed Peter his bite mark. "See? I think that spider altered my DNA somehow." Drake looked around and found an old out of commission forklift. "Watch." Drake walked over to the forklift.

Peter watched and reached towards him. "Drake what are you?" Peter gasped when Drake lifted the forklift off the ground and over his head. "Oh my god..how..how are you doing that?"

Drake groaned. "Like I said!" Drake placed the forklift down. "I think that spider increased my strength, reflex, agility and even gave me a sixth sense that can detect danger."

Peter was shocked. "Like a spider sense?"

"Yeah, just like that! But that's not all!" Drake ran up to the wall and started crawling along it until he was upside down.

Peter was still in shock. "That's amazing!"

"I know right!" Drake smiled before dropping to the floor. "I honestly couldn't believe it myself when I started doing this. The only thing is I can't form any kind of webbing." Drake pointed at Peter. "But maybe you could help me."

Peter raised a brow. "What? Are you serious?"

"Peter, think what could be done with my powers. I could go into show business!" Drake leaned against an old desk. "Peter please, I know you're the only person who could help me."

Peter ran a hand over his forehead. "Drake I don't know..I mean this is all so crazy." Peter then crossed his arms and thought about it. "Hmm..Maybe..Maybe this could be something spectacular for us both. But Drake please promise me you won't do anything else that could endanger you or anyone we care about."

Drake smiled brightly. "Peter, I swear I will only use these powers to entertain people. It's not like I'm trying to be some kind of superhero."

Peter looked at Drake. "It's like my Uncle Ben always told me. With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility. You must be responsible with this power of yours."

Drake held up his hands. "Alright. Alright. I promise."

Peter sighed. "Okay." He then looked around the warehouse and hummed in thought. "You know this place could use a tune up." Peter looked around. "Maybe get a lab set up in here. What do you think?"

Drake looked at Peter. "I guess that could work. Maybe this could also be a place where I could practice. Get used to my powers ya know?"
With the plan set for the next week Peter and Drake after they were done in school would set the warehouse up as a base of operations. Drake would use his strength to carry all of Peter's equipment around and set it up. Peter got his laptop all wired up and powered up while Drake did some cleaning so they actually had a respectable place to work.

Hours Later

Once Peter had his lab sorted he started running some quick tests. "Okay Drake from what I could learn from your blood samples it appears that your DNA was altered."

Drake looked at the computer screen. "You mean I've become a..a mutant?"

"No. Not necessarily. Your DNA structure didn't have any alterations before being bitten by that spider." Peter showed Drake the altered strands of his DNA and how it was changed. "That Spider was genetically modified and that bite resulted in your DNA being altered giving you these..spider powers. The agility, the strength, the ability to crawl along surfaces, and that..sense of yours."

Drake hung upside down crossing his arms over his chest. "Well either way. I'm gonna need a costume if I'm going to be doing any form of entertainment. I can't go around without people recognizing me."

"Well what are you gonna do?" Peter turned in his chair.

"I'll think of something. Maybe I could try creating something to use webs to really play up the whole spider gimmick." Drake shrugged as he looked at Peter.

"Like a web shooter?" Peter raised a brow. "You're kidding right?"

"Pete, remember that exhibit? They talked about how much a spider's web tensile strength allows them to do remarkable things? Maybe it could do the same for me." Drake smiled as he felt confident over this idea.

Peter hummed in thought as he looked at Drake. "Maybe..Maybe I could help build something to help launch webs from your wrists. Quick, let me see your wrist." Peter watched Drake walk over and hold out his arm allowing him to measure his wrist. "Alright..let's reconvene here tomorrow. I'll do some research on how to develop the webbing."

Drake nodded. "I'll bring some stuff to help make them. What exactly should I bring?"

Peter took out a notebook from his backpack and started making a list. "I'll need stainless steel, spring steel, a solenoid needle valve, spinneret nozzles, and maybe some teflon." Peter handed Drake the paper after tearing it out of his notebook.

Drake looked over the list. "Are you sure you're building web shooters or something else Pete."

"Just bring that list of things here tomorrow will ya." Peter groaned out as he stood up from the chair he was in.

"Okay I promise I'll bring what was ordered." Drake laughed a bit obviously trying to joke with Peter a little bit.

Forest Hills Queens New York

Drake ran down the sidewalk and up the steps to his house's porch opening the door. "Mom! Dad! I'm home!" Drake walked into his house looking around. "Mom? Dad? Hello?" Drake walked into the kitchen finding a note. "Drake, your mother and I are at the Hardy Foundation Police Fundraiser..we'll be home late." Drake sighed, rolling his eyes. "Thanks for telling me dad." Drake dropped the note on the table before going up to his room.

Drake sat at his desk opening a notebook and was quickly making designs for a costume to wear but he didn't like his first design. So he tore out the page, crumbling it up and tossing it in the trash can next to his desk. He didn't like the second design or the third or the forth..or the fifth ripping out each page of a failed costume. He finally settled on a design but when he colored it in with some colored pencils it was just all black with a red symbol. Drake shook his head making a note at the top of the page "Needs More Color." Drake then started drawing symbol ideas mostly spiders and finally settled on two of them one for the front on the chest and one on the back.

Drake finally came up with a design for a costume and smiled brightly as he looked at his own creation, now he needs the materials. But for now he found a suitable costume to wear so all he needs are his web shooters. So he focused on gathering the materials Peter requested, thankfully he had what he needed in his shed since his dad loves repairing things around the house himself.

Warehouse District Queens New York

The next day Drake had made it to the warehouse where he and Peter had agreed to meet up again and hopefully Peter had finished his research.
Drake crawled up the side of the warehouse before entering through the skyline dropping down from the roof. "Hey Peter. Special Delivery." Drake put the materials on the table next to Peter's laptop.

Peter looked at Drake after searching through Drake's bag. "That's everything we need." Peter took out the materials before turning to Drake. "You know Gwen and Harry were asking why you've been acting so weird lately."

Drake shook his head. "Gwen and Harry, I should tell them too."

Peter looked at Drake with apprehension. "Uh I don't think that's such a good idea. I mean I'm still reeling after you told me about what happened to you. I don't think they'll be as..understanding. Heck I'm not even sure I'm able to fully understand."

Drake sighed as he leaned against Peter's desk. "You're right..maybe..maybe I shouldn't tell them. I haven't even told my own parents." Drake rubbed his face as he tried calming his now rattled nerves.

Peter put a hand on Drake's shoulder. "Hey it's okay. You told me and I know you did it because we're friends and it also took a lot of trust. So I promise to keep this a secret."

Drake nodded. "Thanks Pete."

For the next couple hours Drake and Peter would work on creating the web shooters out of the materials that Peter requested. The two ran tests which resulted in the first attempt short circuiting and popped getting web all over Drake's face. Peter recalibrated the pressure on the web shooter and after hours of work they managed to fire a successful web at the wall. Drake and Peter high fived as they finally managed to make it work.

Drake put the web shooters on his wrists which fitted perfectly after some adjustments that Drake requested. "Okay. Perfect fit. Now..for the test run."

Standing a good two meters away from the desk Peter placed an empty soda can on the table. "Alright. Give it a whirl."

Drake fired a web but missed the can then he tried again firing a web hitting his backpack so he tried a third time hitting the can. Drake pulled the can into his hand smiling before launching a web and grabbing a cinder block stacked on an old pallet.

Drake pulled the cinder block off the stack but snapped out of his overconfidence ducking the block as it smashed against the wall. "Oops.."

Peter shook his head but walked over and looked at the web line he shot before. "Well it's able to handle your increased strength. So that's good."

"So..I guess tonight I will make my grand debut as The Amazing Spider-Man!" Drake smiled as Peter looked at Drake with a raised brow. "What?"

"Spider-Man? Seriously?"

"What would you rather I call myself The Human Spider?" Drake crossed his arms smirking.

Peter opened his mouth to argue but stopped. "Good point." Peter crossed his arms. "So what's the plan?"

Drake showed Peter a newspaper. "This! Three thousand dollars for a wrestling match!"

"Wrestling? Really?"

"Why not?" Drake shrugged.

"Okay..but..never mind." Peter shook his head. "Just be careful."

Forest Hills New York

Back at home Jasmine had just finished up a phone call before looking at her husband. "James, have you seen Drake today?"

James looked up from his newspaper. "He's been hanging out with Peter lately. Probably just studying. You know how they are."
"Maybe you could try talking to him. I'm worried he's gotten into some kind of trouble."

James folded his paper, sighing. "Alright. You're right. I guess I should try talking to him, make sure he's not doing anything we should be concerned with."

Soon they heard the door open and saw Drake walking in so Jasmine smiled. "Oh Drake, your home. Are you hungry?"

Drake looked at her. "Oh no I'm alright mom. I'm just grabbing my laptop and I'm gonna be meeting up with Peter at the library to study."
James stood up from the table. "You know what Drake, why don't I drop you off."

Drake shook his head smiling. "Nah it's okay dad I can take the bus."

"Nah it's alright I can drive you. Grab your laptop and meet me in the car. Go, go, go go go." When Drake came downstairs and walked out the door James had turned to his wife giving her a thumbs up before closing the door behind him.

Downtown Queens New York

James had driven Drake towards the library pulling over to the side of the road and once he stopped Drake went to open the door. "Thanks for the ride dad."

James stopped Drake. "Drake there's something I want to talk about."

Drake looked back at his dad. "We can talk later can't we?"

"Or we could talk now." James turned to look at Drake. "Drake, you should know that I went through the same thing you are now when I was your age."
Drake shook his head. "No..not "EXACTLY" the same."

James put his hand on Drake's shoulder. "Drake you're changing into the man your mother and I believe you're going to be. You just have to be careful when you decide who you're going to be."

Drake looked at his dad. "Dad I promise you I'm not going to do anything that is going to cause any kind of trouble or harm anyone else. You and mom have always made sure I knew right from wrong and I know who I'm going to become."

James smiled as he gently squeezed Drake's shoulder. "I have faith in you Drake. Because I see a spark in you and whatever you choose to do with it you'll be great."

Drake smiled at his dad. "Thanks Dad."

"I'll pick you up at ten." James watched Drake climb out of the car, closing the door before he drove off.

Drake watched his dad drive down the road before walking the opposite direction of the library and directly to where he planned to go.

He walked into Ridgewood Grove Arena and ran up a set of stairs and got a top view of the wrestling ring where he was going to make it. He watched as the guy who called himself Bone Saw had landed a diving elbow onto his opponent.

"One! Two! Three!" The referee rang the bell. "Winner!"
Bone Saw stood up raising his arms. "Who's the man!"

Drake gulped as he turned and walked down the steps quickly removing his gray jacket revealing his suit putting on his mask which was a simple cloth design that's blue with red highlights around the eyes and on the back. The torso portion of the suit consists of a bright red sweater with a small black spider-logo on the front and a large black spider-logo on the back. The lower portion of the suit consists of navy blue jogging pants and a pair of black and red sneakers.

Drake walked up to the sign up desk where a woman sat. "Next." She saw Drake walk up and stifled a laugh. "There's no featherweight division here smallfry. Next."

"No, no. Sign me up."

She looked at him shrugging. "Okay. You understand the NYWL is not responsible for any injury you may and probably will sustain while participating in said event and you are indeed participating of your own free will?"

"Yes."

The woman motioned to her left. "Down the hall to the ramp. May God be with you. Next."

Drake walked down the hall and stood behind a curtain feeling incredibly nervous as he could hear the crowd.

The Ring Announcer looked at the crowd. "Are you ready for more?!"

Bone Saw took the mic looking at the crowd. "Bone Saw is ready!"

The crowd cheered obviously ready to see the next match.

The Ring Announcer backed up the ramp and towards the curtain. "Will the next victim please enter the arena at this time? If he can withstand just three minutes in the cage with Bone Saw McGraw the sum of $3000 will be paid to…" He glanced back at the curtain. "What's your name, kid?"

"The Amazing Spider- Man."

The Ring Announcer looked at the curtain. "Not bad kid.." He then looked back at the crowd. "The sum of $3000 will be paid to the terrifying, the deadly The Amazing Spider-Man!"

The curtain dropped and Drake was already feeling the love as the fans booed him and even threw popcorn at him. "Tough crowd.." Drake walked down the ramp before climbing into the ring looking around.

Soon a large cage started lowering down as the fans cheered the cage before it surrounded the ring. "Will the guards please lock the cage doors at this time."

Drake looked at the cage. "I made a terrible mistake.."

"Hey freakshow!" Drake turned to see Bone Saw walking towards him. "You're going nowhere! I gotcha for three minutes! Three minutes of playtime." The bell rang and Bone Saw charged Drake who leapt up into the air as Bone Saw crashed into the cage wall falling to the ring mat as the fans boo before he stood up looking up to see Drake on the side of the cage. "What are you doing up there?!"

"Staying away from you." Drake decided to play some mind games of his own. "That's a cute outfit. Did your husband give it to you?"

Bone Saw jumped up at him but Drake front flipped off the cage landing in the center of the ring turning around to face Bone Saw. Bone Saw charged Drake again who fired a pair of webs at the cage ceiling and used the webs to flip over Bone Saw. Drake landed on his feet but Bone Saw was incredibly frustrated so he grabbed a chair from outside the cage. Suddenly Drake didn't get the chance to react as Bone Saw smashed Drake over the back of his head with the chair, Bone Saw would smash it over Drake's back two more times.

Drake groaned as Bone Saw tossed the chair aside before he grabbed Drake by the leg and his waistband slamming him against the cage wall. Then again. He tossed Drake aside as the crowd cheered while Bone Saw grabbed a cane and raised it over his head. Drake's eyes widened as he started to kick Bone Saw in the stomach repeatedly before kicking him in the face. Bone Saw ran towards Drake again only for Drake to get both his feet under Bone Saw's stomach flipping him overhead into the cage wall.
"One! Two! Three! That's it! That's it!" The referee rang the bell as he ran over to Drake who just stood up and raised his arm. "Winner!"

"Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the new champion, Spider-Man!"

Drake looked around as the crowd cheered his name, "Spider-Man! Spider-Man! Spider-Man!" Drake raised his other arm revealing the praise with a smile behind his mask.

Backstage Promoter's Office

A hundred dollar bill was tossed in front of Drake on the table as the Promoter was counting the money but looked at Drake. "Now get out of here."

Drake was confused. "A hundred bucks? The Ad said three thousand."

"That's three thousand for three minutes. You beat him in two. For that you get a hundred and you're lucky to get that."

Drake was angry and felt he was getting screwed out of his money. "I earned that money."

The promoter looked annoyed at Drake's persistence. "I missed the part where that's my problem now." Drake turned and walked out of the office and down the hall angry at just being cheated meanwhile someone else walked and tossed a bag at the promoter. "Hey what the hell?"

This new face aimed a handgun right at the promoter. "Put the money in the bag."

Drake walked down the hall and pressed the elevator button but he heard something from the office and soon saw someone running down the hall.

The Promoter came out of his office. "Hey! He stole the gate!" A cop acting as security chased after the thief. "Stop him! He's got my money!"

"Stop that guy!"

The elevator door opened and Drake stepped aside and the guy ran into the elevator quickly closing the door. "Thanks."

The cop stopped at the elevator doors looking at Drake. "What the hells the matter with you, you let him go." The cop turned around running down the hall. "Cut him off at the lobby and call the cops!"

The promoter looked at Drake. "You could've taken that guy apart. Now he's gonna get away with my money.

Drake glared right at him. "I missed the part where that's my problem." Drake watched the promoter walk away before hitting the elevator button.

Outside The Arena

Drake walked down the sidewalk as his dad wasn't there like he said he'd be but then he noticed a large group of people. So Drake walked towards it before pushing past people top see who could be hurt as officers tried to keep the crowd back.

"Please stay back." The officer saw Drake. "Hey, stay back."

Drake's eyes widened as he pushed past the officer. "That's my father!" Drake quickly knelt down. "What happened?!"

"Carjacking he's been shot. But we called the paramedics and they're on their way."

Drake looked at his dad, his whole body was shaking, his breathing was heavy and quick, his chest heaving and his heart heavy. "Dad…Dad…Dad…"

James slowly opened his eyes, his breathing labored. "Drake..."
"I'm here dad…" Drake's voice was strained, his eyes welling up with tears as he took his dad's hand.

"Drake.."

Drake watched his dad's eyes close and his hand fell from Drake's as his father's life slipped away right in front of him and tears streamed down his cheeks.

"We found the shooter..he's heading south.."

Drake's sadness turned into rage as he stood up and walked away from his father's body before suddenly running down an alleyway. Drake tossed his jacket aside quickly putting on his mask before leaping up onto the side of a building climbing rapidly. Drake climbed up the side of the building before leaping off the building swinging off a flagpole landing on the nearest rooftop. Drake leapt to another rooftop before running across the roof and leapt off the edge landing on the top of a column. Drake saw his dad's car speeding down the street with cops chasing it so Drake fired a web at the nearest building slowly standing up.

Drake leapt off the column swinging towards the building. "Ahh!" Drake fired another web to another building swing over the street flinging himself into the air firing another web swinging around the building and over the street. The man who shot his father turned the corner knocking out a fire hydrant as the cops remained in hot pursuit. However Drake swung around the corner as he fired another web as he swung closer to the car. Finally Drake landed on the roof of the car and punched his hand through the roof trying to grab the shooter. The man screamed as he pulled out his handgun and started firing but Drake dodged the gun shots before leaping off the car landing on a delivery truck next to him. Drake watched the car before looking forward and soon saw an overpass so he leapt up into the air front flipping over and landing back on the delivery truck.

Drake finally leapt off the delivery truck landing on the car's hood and screamed as he punched the windshield cracking it. The shooter panicked so Drake turned around seeing an old factory jumping off the hood just as the car crashed. The shooter quickly got out of the car and ran inside the abandoned factory just as the cops arrived.

The shooter looked around in a cold sweat as he breathed heavily, his gun's magazine sliding from his pistol which he quickly reloaded. Unbeknownst to him Drake was just above him crawling along the ceiling.

The shooter whirled around. "Who's there!" He fired off three shots into the ceiling.

He didn't know that Drake was hanging upside down just behind him before quickly retreating back up towards the ceiling and Drake watched the shooter run to a pair of double doors. Drake landed behind his target grabbing him from behind and slamming his head through one door's window. He then pulled him back and slammed his head through the other door's window before throwing him back and into an industrial fan. The shooter pulled out a knife as Drake approached, trying to slash at him but Drake dodged each attack backflipping away while kicking the knife out of his hand and into the ceiling. Drake jumped up grabbing a pipe and kicked the shooter in the chest knocking him back against a window.

Drake, filled with hatred and rage, approached glaring at the man who murdered his father whose voice was filled with fear. "Don't kill me..just give me a chance..just give me a chance!"

"What about my dad? Did you give him a chance?! Did you!?" Drake grabbed the guy by the collar lifting him up against the window.

A police light shined through the window revealing the man's face. "Don't hurt me!"

Drake's eyes widened in shock and horror as the man who murdered his father…was the same man he let go…he could've stopped it…he could've stopped his father from being murdered. But he didn't…he let the man who shot his father go…

Drake slammed the man through the window, his face contorted in rage that burned hotter than before. "I should drop you. I should take away what you took from my father!" Drake ultimately did drop the man but before he could hit the ground he fired a web line catching him in the air hanging him upside down. "But he wouldn't approve…with great power…comes great responsibility…"

A police boat shined a light directly onto both of them. "Freeze! We have the place completely surrounded!"

Drake whirled around before leaping onto the roof hiding from the cops quickly crawling through a hole in the roof. Drake would leap off the roof and swing through the city for a bit longer before landing on a rooftop. Where he sat on the edge his mask pulled off his head as tears finally started falling again. He wanted revenge for what happened but he didn't take it, instead he did what he believed his dad would do.

Forest Hills Queens New York

Drake walked through the door finding his mother waiting for him and when he closed the door he and his mother hugged each other as she started to cry having learned of her husband's death. Drake felt even worse about what had happened to his father as he could hear his mothers wails of despair and loss.

Maple Grove Cemetery

The following day Drake had to attend his dad's funeral where he was honored by the New York City Police Department as Drake could feel his heart ache.

After the proceedings were concluded Drake stood at his father's grave as Peter walked over to him and got his attention putting his hand on Drake's shoulder. Drake turned around and the two hugged.

When they broke apart he saw Gwen and Harry approach both, each giving Drake a hug obviously hoping to comfort their friend.

"Drake..I'm so sorry.." Gwen wiped her eyes. "Are..you gonna be okay?"

Drake nodded. "Yeah..I'll..I'll be okay.."

Harry patted Drake's shoulder. "If there's something you need you can tell us." Harry soon moved aside as his father approached. "Drake, this is my father Norman Osborn."

Norman extended his hand. "A pleasure Drake under..unfortunate circumstances."

Drake shook the man's hand. "Nice to meet you Mr Osborn."

Norman nodded. "Your father and I were friends for many years. The world is worse off with this loss. If you ever need anything, don't be afraid to ask."

Drake nodded his head. "Yeah..uh..thank you Mr Osborn."

Drake watched as Norman walked away before Gwen would do the same as Drake looked down as he and Peter were alone. "I wanted to kill him.."

Peter looked at Drake. "What?"

Drake swallowed a lump in his throat. "I wanted to kill him Peter..I wanted to take what he took from my dad…but I couldn't do it. Because you were right…with great power, comes great responsibility. I owe that to my dad…to do the right thing."

Peter looked at Drake. "What are you saying?"

Drake looked directly into Peter's eyes. "I can help people. So what happened to my dad won't happen to anyone else. Will you help me?"

Peter took a moment to really think about what Drake was asking but he looked at Drake and nodded. "Yeah. I will."

Drake smiled. "Good…" Drake pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. "I had some ideas…thought you might wanna help."

He handed the paper to Peter and watched as he unfolded it with a smile before looking at Drake. "When do we start?"

Drake smiled. "Let's get to work."
