No-One But You (The Zephyr Endeavor) - Part 2
Chapter 53: Extra Dry, Extra Olives (Part 3)

Doctor Stephen Strange left both of his Vishanti brothers to settle their mess by the beach, then he returned to the life he lived with his family at the Sanctum Sanctorum.

They had a family meeting planned a while ago, but quite a bit of time had passed since Stephen initially set things up.

His brother Victor was there to greet him when he arrived, and the baby Strange brought a little birdie along with him.

Clint Barton's presence was a welcomed surprise, and Victor's energy around him had already taken a positive turn. Stephen took note of that as soon as he set his eyes upon his precious baby brother, because even the complexion of his skin looked brighter.

Perfection. Stephen greeted Victor with a quick hug, then he said hello to Clint Barton. His golden sunshine energy reminded him of Steve… then his eyes happened upon someone's bride-to-be.

Donna Strange was there in the flesh, and the young woman had surrounded herself with colorful catalogs and fancy wedding magazines.

If you haven't experienced the process of losing a loved one, then you can't quite understand how precious that moment was for Stephen Strange.

Having Victor there beside him, and witnessing his little sister actually plan her own wedding was a very special gift… so, the former Sorcerer Supreme took a second to truly take in that moment.

His emotions were normally kept in check, but something was definitely stirring around his soul that couldn't be suppressed. The feeling strengthened even more when his sharp eyes reached his wife and daughter.

Clea and Sofia were there too, let's not forget. Stephen was silent for a good while, up until he approached the ruler of the Dark. He took Clea's hand in his, and the woman responded to Stephen's gesture with a warm smile.

"We're looking at something called, floral arrangements… and Donna says something called peach and teal is all the rage? But, she wants to do the opposite?"

Clea Strange was new to all that… Earth girl stuff. She didn't understand the language at all, but she definitely understood the look on her husband's face. Stephen was simply amused with what he heard, so he looked in his sister's direction.

"Peach and teal are colors, Clea, and yes… that choice is a bit overdone… I hear the color scheme is probably the most important part of the wedding."

Or so they say… Donna didn't look stressed at all, which was good. Overall, the entire family had an easygoing vibe… so Stephen finally directed his attention toward the smallest person in the room.

"Hello young lady."

He found his daughter looking up in his direction, and the nickname Star Child immediately crossed his mind. Sofia responded back to her father immediately, and she floated upward so the two of them could speak face-to-face.

Her hair was beautiful, getting long, and she shined bright in some ways like an opal gemstone.

The thought of color, and color schemes began to set tight in Stephen's mind… so the former Sorcerer Supreme decided to make a comment just to see where it would stick….

"I'd like to help with choosing a color scheme for the nursery … when that makes sense to you and the time is right."

Stephen was speaking to Clea, but someone else heard what he said and reacted to it right away. Donna looked up from one of her catalogs quickly, and…

"Ay. Don't start with any of that nursery stuff or baby talk. I'm not knocked up, and that isn't happening for a looooooonnnngggg friggen time."

Don't even go there, bro. Donna already had to deal with comments like that from their parents. Their mother was relentless with all the needy grandbaby stuff. She freaked out when Donna told her the news about getting married too, and do you think any of that shit quit? NO, IT FRIGGEN GOT WORSE.

Stephen heard his sister's response, but the man was still looking at his beautiful wife. Clea was doing her best to keep herself under the radar for a while, but the signs were there for those who were actually paying attention….

"I wasn't talking about you."

Stephen's razor sharp eyes stopped at his precious baby sister. Donna blinked once when she heard what he said, then she blinked again once the words finally processed…

Sayyyyyy whhhhaaatttttt? Yes? Really? You meannnnnn. Okay, she freaked. Donna's mouth just dropped down toward her chest too, but the two older siblings said nothing more about it.

It was Victor's turn to chime in, because he had some news to share too… and a lot was happening up in Stephen's old loft. The vibe was getting feisty up there as well, and since they all were talking, why not cut in and share his news…

"HEY. I'm moving again. Moving to Tribeca, with… him. It's super close to the Sanctorum, and…"

Andddddd… that's all THOSE TWO needed to know. Victor shared his update, then he awkwardly went back to sticking to his friendly bird-boy boyfriend like glue. Donna heard her baby brother deliver his information, and she inwardly REJOICED with what she heard.

Clint Barton was a friggen sweetheart, and Donna was beyond overjoyed to see him again when Victor finally brought him to the Sanctorum. Thank friggen goodness, because Victor's "relationship" with Ezekiel Stane was the absolute worst…..

No offense to the guy or anything, but Donna was simply aware of his growing connection with Wade Wilson. Victor was beyonddddd wasting his time with Ezekiel… so…

Good. All the news circulating around the Strange family was positive, for once, and the vibe felt all warm, fuzzy, and perfect…

Stephen Strange decided to ruin all the fun by bringing up the mini meeting he had with Doctor Victor Von Doom. Communicating with someone as powerful as Doom had its advantages and disadvantages…

So, let's get down to it… shall we?

"You all know that I spoke with Victor Von Doom, and he clued me in on his plans for something called Battleworld. He's using this world to gather information about anyone who's anyone… and I think we should start thinking on the same level."

Participating in Battleworld was a great intro for Victor to truly become the Sorcerer Supreme, and it was an even better opportunity for the Strange family to remain ten steps ahead of any threat.

"I'm not sure why, but he's asked me to host the event. He said it has something to do with me being a doctor, but I'm not sure if I buy that explanation…"

Doctor Doom was a brilliant man, and he intended to gather all the great minds and warriors that were currently out there in the wild. We're talking about individuals who were located farrrrrr far out there in galaxies that were light years away.

Perhaps having the former Sorcerer Supreme "host" this battle-themed event was a way for Victor Von Doom to shield himself from some unwanted attention …

Maybe? Either way, it was an excellent thing for the current protectors of the Mystic Arts… so Stephen Strange was more than happy to oblige Doctor Doom's random request.
