No-One But You (The Zephyr Endeavor) - Part 2
Chapter 54: Extra Dry, Extra Olives (Part 4)

Yoooo… if you were suddenly invited to have a casual lunch date with someone as cool as Captain America, what would you actually wear?

Wade Wilson didn't know what to do with himself after he pushed open the door to his bedroom, but the man was pretty nervous.

I mean, he had a giant pile of laundry to comb through, and he wasn't sure if he was even going through the correct one.

Clean, or dirty? Clean, or dirty? Clean, or dirty? Clean, or dirty? Clean, or dirty? Clean, or dirty? WHICH ONE, WHICH ONEEEEE.

Shoot! The man threw a ton of stuff off toward his closet, then he spun around and made a break for the shower. Wade tripped over some SHIT that was there beneath his feet, then the man took a nose dive straight to the floor.

His face hit the deck, and Wade let out a lengthy scream. Huuuuuuuuuuffffhhhsssaaaa :$8)37(1!dbosbi: )38;!

The mercenary cursed at everything around him for a long while, then he picked up whatever the FUCK it was he tripped on before it happened again. He just about THREW someone's fuckkkiiinnnggg shoe, but then he suddenly stopped.

It was.. Ezekiel's shoe. One of his precious Shiny's shoes was there, and… the mercenary began to feel.. stuff. His heart started pumping on overdrive too, because the words Ezekiel used were kinnndddaaaa beginning to stick.

"You've got to be joking."

"This is what YOU wanted. You don't listen to me for SHIT, and I think I'm going to pass out…"

"I need to go."

Hearing all of that in his mind once again just beyond crushed Wade's big ol' heart. They just went through something similar not too long ago, so this super weird… tension between them only seemed to be getting worse and worse.

Wade was trying to make things feel special between them, and more… official, but everything he did always seemed to backfire and blow up in his face. He didn't realize how deep the beef was between Tony Stark and Ezekiel, I mean… didn't things mellow out?

Wasn't Starknado on Ezekiel's side all the time? He seemed to vote in his favor all the time through all that Stalker Council bullshit, sooooo what gives?

Wade couldn't wrap his head around all the stuff that took place behind the scenes. He never really left things unspoken, and he didn't fuck with keeping things to himself.

Tony Stark and Ezekiel Stane were weirdly similar like that…. They kept shit hidden, and they did freaky smart things that nobody could trace or see.

So… the merc processed that while he took his shower, then he settled on clothes that were super simple. He found a shirt that made him smile, and a pair of easy breezy grey slacks.

The shirt said the words MILF - Man I love Frogs and he wondered if Captain America would get the reference. Probably not, but LOL.

Uhh…. before the merc took off to Brooklyn, he picked up both of Ezekiel's adorable shoes and he placed them on the chair that was beside the bed.

Uhmm.. he hoped that his quiet coyote .. would.. come… back .. and wear them there… again.

The thought of the opposite happening was too much for the mercenary to bear, so he ditched his "gutter rat" house and made his way out toward Brooklyn.

Not knowing where Ezekiel went bothered Wade as well, but he did his best not to show it. Thirty minutes wasn't a long time, you know? So… Wade wasn't surprised at all when he spotted Steve Rogers just outside the sandwich shop.

OH, it was an Italian place. That's cool. Wade's broken soul managed a big smile for Steve Rogers. He smelled soooo good, once again, so Wade tried to control himself and he asked about his quick trip from the beach.

Wasn't he just at the beach, with Tony? Shit was happening waaayyyyy too fast, so the mercenary wasn't sure what to think.

Steve Rogers had a small smile on his face as well, and it took him a minute to realize that Wade Wilson actually approached him outside Mama Louisa's.

The infamous Deadpool was always wearing his mask and costume whenever he attended the Surveillant Council meetings, so Steve had to remind himself of Wade's actual appearance.

Hmmm, now… something Stephen Strange said about everyone having a "parallel extension" crossed Captain America's mind in that moment, so he didn't answer his question straight away.

He was finally standing in front of the man beneath the mask, and it was an interesting moment for Steve to truly see Deadpool's face…
