No-One But You (The Zephyr Endeavor) - Part 2
Chapter 99: Prince of Darkness (Part 9)
Before things get waaaayy too sexy and heated… try and remember that Wade Wilson was actually trying to establish an actual relationship with Ezekiel Stane.
He'd gotten a lot of advice about that from everyone's favorite mutant freak-shrink, and that advice was taken to heart.
Besides that, the goofy mercenary had his own way of smothering someone with his undying love and affection.
…
Saying goodbye…
Is never an easy thing…
But you never said that you'd stay forever…
…
So if you must go…
Well, darlin', I'll set you free…
But I know in time that we'll be together…
…
YES. They were mega kissing earlier, and things were getting pretty frisky between them in the last chapter, but the mercenary was bound and determined to express himself to his cute lil fiancé.
Music was always Wade's go-to method of self expression, and as his body regenerated… he kept thinking of a specific song.
….
I won't try to stop you now from leaving…
'Cause in my heart I know…
…
Love will lead you back…
Someday I just know that…
Love will lead you back to my arms…
Where you belong…
…
Ezekiel Stane heard that GOOFY SONG all of a sudden, so he had to cover the smile on his friggen face. Ezekiel was trying not to laugh at Wade, because the mercenary's behavior was beyond hilarious….
The merc randomly whipped out his small music player, and some peculiar song started playing between them. It sounded so OLD, SO cheesy, and soooooo stupid. Ezekiel started dying…
…
I'm sure, sure as stars are shining…
One day you will find me again…
It won't be long…
One of these days our love will lead you …
…
back…
…
The baby Jackal also couldn't believe some of the things he allowed Wade Wilson to do to his body. Before the music stuff started happening, that merc was getting them ready.. for.. sexy stuff.
Everything the mercenary did always felt sooooo friggen good, and Ezekiel didn't know what to think of it half the time.
His face was burning hot beneath his hands, and now Wade started playing his goofy games with the music.
The baby Jackal wanted to please him too, and make him react in the same manner. That thought had his mind super swamped, but he glanced at Wade through an opening in his fingers.
…
One of these nights…
Well, I'll hear your voice again…
You're gonna say, oh how much you missed me…
…
You'll walk out this door…
But someday you'll walk back in…
Darling I know, I know this will be…
…
Sometimes it takes, sometime out on your own now…
To find your way back home…
…
Love will lead you back…
…
The baby Jackal wondered if the song was Wade's clever way of telling him how he felt. Clearly, Wade was a confident man… but he used music to make his point quite a bit.
Hmm. Ezekiel felt like climbing that mountain of a body, so he turned toward his right and he made his way on top of Wade Wilson.
The mercenary smiled as he glanced up at that cute lil coyote. It looked like he wanted to play. They wrestled around a little, cuz Ezekiel was trying to turn off his tunes.
He put the song on for a very specific reason, cuz yes… Wade was having a woman named Taylor Dane do the talking for him. It was her song, but the mercenary was in the mood to hear it.
…
He wanted Ezekiel to hear it, because HE meant every word in the stupid song.
…
Wade felt so happy. He was happy to learn that Ezekiel had returned to his "gutter rat" house, because it felt like he'd been avoiding it for the longest time.
And, yeah, it was hard… It's hard when you're all in it, but you're only being considered a work in progress in return.
Wade worked through all of that stuff tho. It was hard, but he held onto his plan and fought for what he wanted. He wanted… Ezekiel, right there, and there he was..
…
"You're a cheese ball, Wade."
…
LOL. They kept wrestling around for that musical contraption, and it was playful. Ezekiel felt a trillion times better, and he also felt at ease there on top of Wade's perfect body.
The merc caught Ezekiel staring wayyy too many times to count, and that was expected. Ohhhh, Wade was loving that easy peasy feeling that they had going on… and he began to dread the thought of fucking it up.
…
"I understand what you're saying, with your cheese ball songs.."
…
Oh? Do ya now? Wade took the silent approach for once, but his smile wasn't going anywhere. He just bucked his waist a little beneath Ezekiel's cute lil hips.
They could start hooking up in a heartbeat. It's true. Sex was the easy part, but Wade was trying to develop something more. Call him crazy, but the merc needed that, wanted that, and absolutely had to have it.
…
Love will lead you back…
Someday I just know that…
Love will lead you back to my arms…
Where you belong…
…
Ezekiel heard Wade's cheese ball song play out and repeat itself once again, and he reacted to it by bringing his mouth down to that perfect skin.
YES. He understood what Wade was telling him, and the baby Jackal didn't disagree. He agreed with the song, actually, and he inwardly decided to give it everything he had.
That mouth refused to quit too, because staying there and pleasing Wade was Ezekiel's top priority. It had been over a week, so… he friggen needed it too.
Call him crazy, but the "quiet coyote" more than needed it. He wanted it, and absolutely had to have it.
