Epilogue
Blue's POV
When we entered the biology lab, Kamek was toying with his wand. I asked, "Kamek, what are you doing?". Kamek said, "Trying to fix my wand!". Rubble said, "I was trying to help him.". I asked, "What do you need me up here for?". Kamek said, "I want to talk to you about the victims.". The victims? Kamek continued, "Remember what Ditto was saying in the trial?". I answered, "He was talking about using a revival spell.". Kamek said, "That's correct. I'm hoping that I can fix this wand to try to revive everyone.". I said, "Didn't you say that it was a hard spell to master?". Kamek said, "Yes, it is. Even I haven't fully mastered it yet. but if I could fix my wand, I could try to master it!". Rubble said, "I shared my doubts, but he wanted my help. I figured it wouldn't hurt.". I asked, "What was the reason why you wanted us to stay the night?". Kamek said, "I was thinking, this wasn't the first killing game and it won't be the last. I was thinking that we could turn this school into a base. A base to fight against the despair driven group who have been making these games!". A group to fight against despair. Kamek continued, "I need your help on getting started.".
Kamek told me some ideas he had. I honestly think his idea sounded good! The people behind this nightmare needed to be stopped, so I agreed with his plan. Then we got started to make plans to redesign the school to be the base of operations. We were designing until 11 pm. We agreed to tell everyone during breakfast and went to sleep. When morning came, we gathered everyone in the dining room. Kamek explained his plan. Ender said, "A base to fight against the people who are behind the killing games?". Zeke said, "THIS is why you wanted to stay an extra night?". Rubble said, "Think about it Zeke! These people could force anyone we love or US to the next killing game! They forced me to be a part of another killing game!". Rainer said, "He does have a point. I'm the leader of a pack of 10 and I already lost two of them. I don't want to lose any more people I care about.". Kamek said, "We also have a chance to revive the victims of our killing game too!". Ender said, "That also sounds good too.".
Zeke said, "I'm not sure about this. I would love to fight against the people who work with that bear but it's gonna be really dangerous. Also there's no guarantee that we can revive any of the victims!". I said, "It's still worth it! We can't let this happen to more innocent people!". Zeke said, "If you can prove to me that what Kamek promised can be possible, then I'll consider it.". How can we prove that Kamek can fulfill his promises? The only way I can think of is reviving a victim. But the only victim that can come back is Kenny because of his curse! Rainer then said, "I think I have an idea.". Zeke said, "H-Huh?". Rainer said, "There might be a way to get two of us back but it's a far stretch.". Ender questioned, "Y-You know a possible way to revive people?". Rainer said, "It's only for certain species. It's for when they have no HP left in battles. Blue, Rubble you know what I'm talking about?". Rubble repeated, "No HP left in battle?". Kamek said, "That makes no sense!". I then had an idea on what she meant.
I said, "I think I know what she's talking about. Rainer you're talking about revives right?". Rainer said, "That's right.". Rubble said, "You know that's only for pokemon who fainted in pokemon battles! There's no guarantee that'll revive dead pokemon!". Zeke asked, "What in the world are you talking about?!". I explained, "Revives are golden diamonds that can revive fallen pokemon, who fainted in pokemon battles.". Rainer said, "I was thinking since Jolt and Flame are pokemon. We could test to see if revives could bring them back!". Ender asked, "Do you know that these 'revives' could work on everyone else?". Rubble said, "Sorry, they only work on pokemon.". Ender looked sad by that answer. Kamek said, "But Jolt and Flame were murdered! They didn't fall in battle. Are you sure it'll work on them.". I said, "No we're not sure it'll work. Pokemon don't get murdered like how they did.". Rainer said, "But it's worth a try! Isn't it!".
Ender said, "I say it is. If there is a chance that we can get at least two of us back then let's try it!". Zeke said, "I'm not sure about this. By the sounds of this, it's a high risk of failing.". I said, "It might fail but we need hope! Hope will help us succeed!". Kamek said, "Let's just give Rainer's idea a try. Rainer, you have an idea on where to get these revives?". Rainer said, "Y-Yeah, I'll go get them. Blue, can you come with me?". I said, "Sure.". Ender said, "I'm gonna go look for Kenny.". Ender had teleported away. Kamek said, "I'm gonna go try to fix my wand again.". Rubble said, "I might as well help him.". The two of them went to Kamek's dorm. Zeke said, "I'm gonna go hang out in the rec room until you get back.". Zeke walked away. Me and Rainer went to the main hall. Rainer said, "Are you ready to step outside again?". I nodded yes and we opened the door.
Feeling the outside breeze and breathing fresh air again is so nice! Rainer told me that we're gonna go to the pokemon flea market. As we were walking there, Rainer asked, "Have you thought about what's gonna happen with Rubble?". I asked, "What do you mean?". She explained, "When we all go home, Rubble has no home to go to. He told us that he lives in an orphanage.". She's right, Rubble is an orphan and doesn't have a place to go to. I said, "I don't know. But I'm sure we'll figure it out.". It took us two hours to get to the flea market. Rainer knew the market better than anyone I know. So we found the stand that sold revives pretty quickly. Rainer told the owner to put it on her tab and we left with two revives.
It took us two hours to get back to the school. Rainer went to get Ender, Kenny, and Zeke. and I went to get Rubble and Kamek. We agreed to take everyone to the biology lab. When I rang Kamek's doorbell. Rubble answered and said, "Oh, you guys are back! D-Did you get the revives?". I said, "Yes we did.". Rubble said, "Cool. Hey Kamek, it's time!". Kamek yelled, "Be right out!". Kamek and Rubble exited Kamek's dorm. Kamek continued, "Let's see if luck is on our side!". The three of us went to the biology lab. It's the moment of truth time! It's time to get Jolt and Flame back! I have hope that this will work!
Everyone was at the biology lab. I said, "Hi Kenny, glad to see you.". Kenny waved. Rubble asked, "Does Kenny even know what's happening?". Ender said, "I caught him up while we were waiting.". Zeke asked, "Can we get to the revival already?". Kamek put Jolt's body on a tray on the floor. Kamek asked, "How do you use these revives?". Rainer said, "It's like a spray. Just watch me.". She used one of the revives on Jolt. After spraying Jolt with a revive, we waited a little bit for the effects to kick in. After waiting for five minutes, Jolt wasn't revived yet. Zeke said, "Looks like the revives didn't work.". Rainer said, "I-I don't get it! It doesn't take this long for revives to take effect!". Kamek said, "Maybe revives don't work for murdered p-". But before Kamek could finish we heard someone groan.
We all turned to Jolt's body. We watched as Jolt got back up. Jolt asked, "UGH! My head! W-What happened?". Rubble said, "It worked!". Zeke said, "No way!". Kamek said, "Jolt welcome back! How do you feel?". Jolt said, "My head is killing me! Can someone tell me what is happening? Last thing I remembered is searching the trash room and the lights going ou- Wait, what do you mean by welcome back?". I went up to him and said, "Jolt, (this is gonna be a long story) you may want to sit down.". I explained to Jolt what happened to him. Jolt was sitting there in shock. Then he yelled, "SKYLAR KILLED ME?!". I awkwardly nodded yes. Jolt asked, "If I died then how am I alive?". Rubble said, "We used a revive on you. We weren't sure if it would work.". I looked towards Rainer and I could see tears in her eyes. Rainer was clearly happy to see her brother alive again.
Rubble leaned to me and quietly asked, "Uh, how do we explain what happened after the trial?". Jolt heard Rubble and asked, "What does he mean by that? WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE TRIAL?!". Ender said, "Um, Flame was sadly killed.". Jolt yelled, "WHAT?! Please use a revive on him like you did with me!". Rainer said, "You don't have to ask twice!". Kamek got Flame's body and put it where Jolt was. Kamek sewed Flame's paws back on. Rainer got out the last revive and sprayed Flame with it. We waited for around five minutes. Rainer and Jolt went to check on Flame. They stopped in shock. They were speechless. I noticed the reason why they were frozen. Flame's body had a lot of scars! The scars were where he was stabbed! He even had big scars on his front paws. Kamek said, "The scars must be a side effect.". Flame got up and groaned just like Jolt. Flame said, "W-Where am I?".
He didn't notice Jolt yet. He then yelled, "KENNY!". Looks like he remembered what happened to him. Jolt looked confused at what Flame just yelled. Flame then yelled, "KENNY IS ALIVE?! HOW DID HE SURVIVE?!". He paused for a moment then continued, "HOW AM I ALIVE?!". I went up to him and said, "Flame calm down! Take deep breaths!". He started to take deep breaths. He finally noticed Jolt and asked, "Why do I see Jolt? Am I hallucinating?". Jolt then pinched Flame's shoulder. Flame said, "Ow!", then realized that he wasn't hallucinating. I then explained to Flame that he and Jolt just got revived.
Flame said, "That makes sense. I guess.". Jolt asked, "Hey Flame, why are you saying that Kenny is alive?". Flame said, "Because he ki- He's behind you!". Jolt turned around and screamed. Kenny mumbled, "Can't believe you didn't notice me earlier.". Rubble said, "I believe I can explain. Kenny has a curse that doesn't allow him to die. Monokuma and the Mastermind who turned out to be Red Yoshi found him and forced him to kill. He tried to kill Rainer but killed Flame instead.". Rainer questioned Flame, "Speaking of that, Flame, why did you go to the chemistry lab? Y-You knew that Kenny wanted to kill me right?". Flame said, "I know but I wanted to protect you. I wanted to teach that person a lesson. I thought they wouldn't kill me since I wasn't you. I just wasn't expecting Kenny to attack me!". Rainer then grabbed Jolt and Flame for a hug and said, "I'm really glad to have you both back!".
Ender said, "Well Zeke, we were able to revive two victims. Does this show you the hope we can make!". Zeke said, "Maybe Kamek's plan might be good.". Kamek said, "It'll take a while for this school to turn into a perfect base of operations. So for now you guys should go home and relax. After all, we deserve it.". Ender asked, "Wouldn't you need help with making the base?". Kamek said, "I got some people that'll help.". Zeke said, "You don't have to tell me twice! I would love to leave this school!". Kenny mumbled, "Me too!". I said, "It was an honor working with you Kamek.". Rainer said, "Yeah, we made a good team!". Kamek said, "This isn't the last you'll see of me. I'll let you all know when the base gets finished. Until next time!". Everyone but Kamek left the lab.
The eight of us went to the main lobby and exited the school. Zeke said, "(Sigh) It's nice to finally be out of that dreaded school!". Ender said, "I can agree.". Flame said, "It's a shame that most of us aren't here with us.". I said, "Yeah but our hope will live on for them!". Ender said, "And we'll try our best to get them back!". Jolt asked, "Hey where is Kenny?". We looked around for Kenny. We then saw Kenny walking away. Rainer said, "I guess he didn't want to say goodbye.". Zeke said, "Well, he does have the right idea. We should head out too.". Ender said, "Yes that is correct. It was wonderful meeting all of you.". I said, "Yeah, it was nice meeting you guys too!". Rainer said, "Yeah we'll miss you guys!". Ender said, "I have a feeling that we'll meet again in the future. Until next time.". Zeke said, "Later guys!". Ender grabbed Zeke and teleported away.
I then noticed Rubble walking away. I then said, "Rubble!". Rubble then said, "Blue!". Jolt said, "You were leaving without saying goodbye?". Rubble said, "L-Look I'm not good with goodbyes. B-But you guys were the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm so glad we became friends.". Rainer asked, "W-Wait didn't you say you're an orphan? Do you have a place to go?". Rubble said, "I-I don't know. But I'll figure it out! Bye guys.". He turned around and started to walk away. Jolt said, "H-He's an orphan?". I said, "Y-Yeah he is. Guys we can't leave him on his own like this!". Flame said, "I agree. He shouldn't be by himself.". Rainer then said, "I have an idea.". She then ran after Rubble. The three of us decided to follow her.
We then caught up to Rubble. Rainer yelled, "RUBBLE WAIT UP!". Rubble said, "Huh? R-Rainer, what's wrong?". Rainer said, "I have an offer to give you. Would you like to join our pack?". Rubble said, "What?! You want me to join your pack?! But I'm not an eevee or an eeveelution.". Rainer said, "That doesn't matter. You've done a lot for us already. I feel like you've earned your spot in the pack.". Rubble looked so surprised. To be honest we were too, we had no idea what Rainer was up to. I then decided to say, "It'll be better than being by yourself. And we'd be able to hang out more often!".
Rubble then asked, "D-Do you guys really want me to join?". Jolt said, "Yeah! Why wouldn't we?". Flame said, "It'll be cool to have you!". Rubble then said, "I-I would love to join then.". I said, "Welcome to the pack!". Jolt then said, "Let's head back home now!". Rainer said, "I'll lead the way!". After this whole experience, our pack ended up with a new member. I'm happy that Rubble said yes! I would miss hanging out with him if he said no. And maybe having him hang out with Eve is a good idea. Rubble hanging out with someone around the same age as him might help him and Eve. We then finally left Hope's Peak Academy.
On our way home, we were filling Jolt and Flame in on what they missed. The class trials they missed, the events that happened and the Mastermind situation. When we entered the forest we lived in we noticed something on a tree. It was a missing poster for me and the sibling trio. Rainer said, "Looks like they're looking for us!". Jolt asked, "Was that even a surprise?". I said, "No, we knew that they'll worry about us.". Rubble then asked, "A-Are you sure that they'll like me?". I said, "Of course! Especially after we tell them how helpful you were!". Flame said, "Let's continue. We're close to the house by now.". Rainer said, "Flame is right. Let's go!". We then continued into the forest.
We finally reached the Eeveelution house! It's been so long since I last seen it. Rainer said, "It's good to be back!". Jolt went up to the door and knocked on it three times. No one answered. Jolt said, "Looks like no one is home.". I said, "They might be looking for us.". Rainer said, "We can wait for them here.". Rainer grabbed the spare key she hid in a nearby bush. Jolt said, "So that's where you hid that key!". Rainer then said, "Now I'll have to find a new hiding spot.". She then unlocked the door and we entered the house.
The house had a kitchen area on the right. It looked like a basic kitchen. And a living room on the left. With a big TV, a red couch and a purple rug under the couch. It had a coffee table in front of the couch too. At the end of the living room there were stairs that lead upstairs. There was also a dining room next to the kitchen. It was a big table with multiple chairs. And a maroon rug underneath the table. Rubble said, "This is a nice house!". Rainer said, "Thanks! C'mon guys let's go to the bathroom. Maybe I can do something with those scars.". The three of them went to the bathroom. I said, "Ok bud you can rest on the couch. I'll make us some sandwiches.". Rubble said, "Ok.".
(POV: Third Person): Rubble went to the living room and sat on the red couch. He was in deep thought. He was a little worried about meeting the rest of the pack. He wasn't the most social person, especially after the first killing game. As he was in deep thought, a small brown fox came beside him and said, "Hello!". He jumped and fell off the couch. The brown fox used a jump rope to tie Rubble's legs together. The fox said, "You think you can break into my house and rob us huh?". Rubble said, "I-I'm not a robber! And I didn't break into your house!". The fox said, "Sure buddy. Then how did you get in? I'm the only one home!". Rubble said, "I was let in!". The fox said, "Well maybe the police will get you to admit the truth!". Then two ribbons grabbed her and lifted her up.
(Blue's POV): I said, "There's no need to call the police Eve! He isn't a robber!". Eve then said, "B-Blue?! Y-You're back?!". I said, "Yes! The trio is also back. I'm gonna put you down and I want you to untie the rockruff.". Eve said, "O-Ok Blue! I'm sorry about that!". She then untied Rubble. Rubble said, "I-It's ok.". Then he went to stand next to me. Eve then asked, "W-What happened to you guys? You guys were gone for weeks and we were so worried!". I said, "It's a long story!". She then asked Rubble, "Um, hi I'm Eve! Who are you?". Rubble said, "I'm Rubble.".
Before Eve could say anything else, she looked beside us and then screamed. Eve then yelled, "WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM!". Me and Rubble looked behind us to see Flame. Rainer and Jolt rushed in after hearing the screams. I said, "Eve calm down!". Flame said, "When did Eve get here?!". Rainer said, "I think she's been home the whole time!". Eve then asked, "W-Why does Flame have those scars! It looks like he's been attacked!". I can understand why she's terrified right now. Flame left with no scars and now he has a lot of scars. And they don't look pretty. Rainer said, "We'll explain Flame's scars when everyone gets back! Do you know where they are?". Eve said, "T-They went to talk to the police about you guys! They should be back soo-".
Sylvia burst through the door and yelled, "EVE I HEARD YOU SCREAM! ARE YOU O-". She then noticed everyone. She then said, "OH MY GOD! BLUE!". She then went to hug me. I said, "Hey sis!". Shade, Esper, Clover and Frost walked in on the scene. Shade asked, "What's happening?". Clover said, "Yeah, Sylvia ran over here so fast when we heard a scream-". Then they noticed us. Shade said, "Guys! You're back!". Clover asked, "Where were you?". Frost noticed Flame then asked, "W-What happened to Flame?!". Then Shade and Clover looked towards Flame. Clover then asked, "Oh god? What caused those scars?!".
Shade then noticed Rubble and asked, "And who's the rockruff?'. Esper said, "His name is Rubble.". Rubble then asked, "H-How did you know?". Esper said, "I read your mind.". Rubble quietly said, "W-What?". Esper said, "So, Rainer or Blue, do you mind if one of you tells us what happened?". Shade asked, "Why didn't you ask that to Jolt and Flame too?". Esper said, "Because their minds are a little weird right now.". Frost asked, "What do you mean by weird?". I said, "I might know the answer.". We then spent some time explaining what happened to us to the rest of the pack. What happened when we arrived at Hope's Peak. What we were forced to be a part of. What happened to Jolt and Flame. And what happened when we beated the last class trial! Pretty much everything!
There was a moment of silence between the six of them. They had shocked and scared faces. Frost said, "T-That has to be a lie!". Clover said, "Y-Yeah there is no way that Jolt and Flame was-". Esper said, "I-It's true.". Shade asked, "I-It's true?!". Esper said, "I read their minds. It is shockingly true.". Eve said, "I-If it's true then that would explain why they were gone for a long time and the scars.". Frost said, "So you brought them back using revives?". Jolt said, "Yes that's true.". Clover said, "I can't believe it!". Esper said, "Believe it or not but it's true.". Sylvia said, "Y-You mention that this kid was joining our pack?". Rainer said, "Yes, he helped us a lot in our situation. Also he had been through a lot.".
Shade said, "Well, welcome Rubble was it?". Rubble nodded and Eve said, "Sorry about before! I can't wait to be friends!". Shade said, "That energetic eevee is Eve. I'm Shade.". Clover said, "I'm Clover and this person next to me is Frost!". Frost said, "Uh, Hi.". Esper said, "And I'm Esper.". Rubble said, "So you must be Sylvia.". Sylvia said, "How do you know?". Rubble said, "Blue talked about you when we were stuck in that school.". Sylvia smiled and Shade asked, "So, you were like a detective in the um killing game?". I said, "Yeah, I didn't know I had it in me.". Esper said, "You guys should get some rest. You've been through a lot.". Clover said, "Hey if any of you guys need me to check you out for any injuries let me know.". Rainer said, "Thanks Clover!".
I'm glad that the pack was welcoming to Rubble. After weeks of being trapped in Hope's Peak Academy. And being forced to be a part of a killing game. I was one of six survivors who've been through the whole experience. After seeing 11 people falling victim to the game and defeating the Mastermind. We're finally free! Ditto wanted to destroy all hope and replace it with despair! But in the end hope will always defeat despair! Hope will always shine! As long as we have hope in our hearts, we can face anything life throws at us! I'm just glad that we never lost sight of hope!
