No-One But You (The Mystic Consultant) - Part 2
Chapter 2: The Tiger Striped Cat (Part 2)
Stephen Strange received two messages at once while he was in the Dark Dimension. One of the messages came to him as a vision. He was all alone inside a large meditation room. The Time Stone showed him the fate of a person that he had been keeping tabs on for years.
There was an older version of Tony out there that had been on the run for a long time. He manipulated the Infinity Stones and hid them. That version of Tony was being hunted on a daily basis, so…
Stephen remembered speaking to him. The older Tony stopped him from meddling several . Time flies. Stephen wasn't having as much fun at the time either. He remembered how badly he was struggling.
"Big Tony" helped him process a lot and sometimes it helped the sorcerer pull through. Stephen's stomach felt twisted up in that moment.
His chest felt heavy as well when he received another message. The second message came to him as a hand written note. His brother, Victor, wrote him a message from the Sanctorum. Stephen watched the delicate handwriting form toward his right.
The message appeared beside him, then it disappeared slowly. Victor asked his older brother to join him for a show. Tony's putting on a show, and the baby sorcerer wanted his brother to join him. The two of them used to attend concerts when they were younger. Stephen held a soft smile as a couple other messages followed the first.
Stephen was receiving an explanation about how attending the show was also an orchestrated attempt to keep Tony safe. The older brother processed the notes for a moment. He already made up his mind before the second message appeared before him.
His only hesitation was with temporarily leaving the Dark. It took Stephen a long time to mend the damage to his marriage. Clea was still in a delicate place. She never complained about anything, but…
Stephen closed his eyes for a moment, then he brought his hand up toward the last note.
Victor was telling him that he missed his brother. He said he wanted to see him and talk about a couple changes. Stephen knew what the changes were, but Victor had always struggled talking about his "relationships".
He never spoke about being with Ezekiel, even if Ezekiel was standing there in the same room.
It was hard to watch at times. Victor never got to the point of admitting his affection at all. He always hesitated, and Ezekiel wasn't blind to it either. That was the hard part..
He wrote Victor a response. The "real" Sorcerer Supreme told his baby brother that he would attend.
He said he couldn't wait to go, and that he'd see him soon.
