No-One But You (The Mystic Consultant) - Part 2
Chapter 9: The Tiger Striped Cat (Part 9)

After all of the peculiar jokes and deliberations came to a close out on the main floor, Steve Rogers found his place on the stage.

He finally met up with Tony, and something hit the blonde when he approached. There had been some confusion going on between them. Some of it regarded Ezekiel, Bucky and what everything meant.

Also, Steve made efforts to fix things when it came to Tony's presence out there in the wild. He did. He wanted to. Steve always tried. He didn't want Tony thinking he was kept in a jar, so thoughts about that picked up for Steve when he caught a glimpse of Tony's bare skin.

The brunette liked to show off and Tony's choice of clothing no longer affected Steve. The blonde looked him over when he saw him, and Tony smiled.

"I want you to just, relax, and watch the show. The group will work out all of that dysfunction."

Tony had to say it. He stood close to Steve as he spoke, and he pressed his hands against those strong arms. Steve glanced down at one of his hands. The group was very dysfunctional, but the soldier was holding onto some optimism.

Steve could see the potential there, but it was slim.

Tony walked Steve backward a little. He told him that he had a special space designed on the stage, just for him. The audience was unable to see Steve where he was placed, but that golden thing had a full view of Tony's upcoming show.

The "Tiger Striped Cat" was put together in his honor anyway, so Tony made sure Steve wouldn't miss a thing. He made Steve sit down on a comfy little chair.

He had his own little booth, so the blonde simply smiled.

Tony still had a hold of his arms. Steve liked the contact, so he maneuvered and brought him close. No one was allowed into the expansive venue until Steve gave the final word, so he took a moment to spend some time with the main event.

Steve even kissed him, although they were out in the open and out in public. The soldier went for it, and that little booth became burning hot. Tony was always a walking furnace as he was, so Steve wanted to keep him close.

A few people could see what was happening in the secluded booth that was toward the left side of the stage, but no one did anything about it.

Ezekiel was one of the individuals that was given a front row seat. His place was up above, and he casually rolled his ever-changing "White Jackal" didn't want to take a trip down memory lane when it came to observing things like that between Tony and Steve.

Obadiah's son closed his eyes for just a moment, then he glanced over toward a section of an empty space. The audience was expected to fill that space and then some, but there were only two people out there in that moment.

Victor Strange remained out there with his brother Stephen. Ezekiel thought about Victor's reaction to what he said. He still seemed affected, in some way.

A thought suddenly crossed Ezekiel's mind. It was about Victor, and about Wade Wilson. Deep down, he understood that he wanted Victor to behave more like Wade.

The thought suddenly subsided, because Steve Rogers gave the signal for the venue to open up. The soldier remained in his special section, while the "Tiger Striped Cat" disappeared somewhere toward the dark part of the stage.

Ezekiel focused on Tony's movements a bit more, but then he returned his attention toward the incoming crowd.
