No-One But You (The Mystic Consultant) - Part 2
Chapter 56: Istanbul(Part 6)
...
Do you ever find yourself getting a bit, carried away?
Wade Wilson felt that way all the time, and the notion was coming back to him as he gave himself a tour of the training grounds designed for something called the Mystic Arts.
Turns out, Victor Strange had been doing his homework there at the Kamar taj for quite a while. Some people out there thought he was either sleeping on the job, or way too wrapped up in his boy-love feels for Ezekiel Stane. Wade got a taste of Victor's magical tricks a while ago, but his mind was on something white and shiny as well.
"Ezekiel, you remind me of a song. I thought of it before Milwaukee. Before Milwaukee, but long after our time in New York."
"SHUT UP."
The mercenary was dodging one of Victor's magic tricks, and he couldn't help but notice that Stephen Strange's baby brother had himself a temper, and a brain. He was strong, smart and fast on his feet. He was quick to protect himself with those shiny orange shields as well… Wade wasn't holding back on the little shit, but thanks to his magic shields, he found it hard at times to land a hit.
When Wade did manage to land a hit, Victor's boy toy was right there in his face, and Ezekiel was as cut-throat as a person could be. Wade liked that about him, and he made sure to remind him any chance he got. Doing that seemed to really bother the baby wizard, so Wade made damn skippy sure to keep it going.
"The song goes, and I'd give up forever to touch you. Cause, I know that you feel me somehow.."
Wade began to talk out the song, and Victor's rage started picking up. He didn't know or give a shit about the song at first, but he just wanted Wade to shut the EFF up. Hoo hooo….the baby Strange was quick with his hands too. Wade watched him do a dozen gestures, then the next thing he knew, the ancient temple walls began to tumble down behind him. Shit was getting busted up there as they played tag along the rooftops, and Victor heard the mercenary say something about having an erection.
"Time out. That's wall number three. I need a breather here…"
LOL yeah right. Wade brushed his shoulders off as Ezekiel and Victor moved in toward their target. Their target did have a mental erection going on, and he felt happy to be there in that moment. He stood up from the broken rubble, and he took a look at that white armor. "Zephyr" hadn't underwent any new changes, so Wade had to wonder if Ezekiel felt like he was whole, or perhaps finally complete.
"You're the closest to heaven, that I'll ever be…and I don't want to go home right now. Come on VICTOR, I know you know the song."
"I know the song. Moron."
"Yes, but, do you KNOW the song…"
Wade laughed, and then that baby Strange was all up in his face. The mercenary brought his arms up to protect his noggin, and he noticed that Victor had another trick hidden up his sleeve. His brother's red flashy cape flew toward him as well, and that thing whipped around Wade and held him in place. He kept singing his way through Victor's recent assault, because Wade knew that his behavior was hitting a nerve. Wade sang the famous words even louder, for Ezekiel, and for all of Nepal to hear.
"Cause all I can taste is this moment, and all I can breathe is your life. SOONER or later, it's over, I just don't wanna miss you tonight…"
Ezekiel had to laugh. He rolled his eyes beneath his armor, and he kept staring at that freak off a leash. He found Wade to be, amusing. Ezekiel had no idea what the song was, but his soul was more than amused. Victor of course thought otherwise, but the Jackal determined that his thoughts about Wade Wilson would change after some time. They had to change, because Wade Wilson was…
Victor managed to hit that STUPID mask twice, then he clenched his fists and took a half step back. Victor needed a moment as well, and he gestured for the Cloak of Levitation to return to its post. Wade watched that cloak wrap around Victor's shoulders, then it became transparent. It disappeared. Evaporated. Victor looked over the damage that was done to the rooftops of the Kamar taj. Wade kept on singing. His voice got weirder and louder as he sung out that SHIT SONG…
"And, I don't want the world to see me…cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am."
Did Victor Strange really know the song, in regards to Ezekiel? If so, then that was a good thing. Wade kept looking at the person who seemed very determined. Determined to prove himself amongst his big brother, big sister, and the big world beneath their feet. The mercenary wasn't there to be anyone's enemy, but he never backed away from the notion of competition. Ezekiel Stane's life was spared for a reason, and Wade felt very invested in his progress.
So much so, he felt that Victor Strange was in route for a wake up call.
Wade thought it over as he removed one of his swords from behind his shoulder. He used it to look behind him, because there was some commotion and a loud conversation going on down below. Word travelled fast, once parts of an ancient building began falling apart. Their game of tag had escalated past the point of no return, so someone at the Kamar taj alerted someone named Wong. WONG alerted someone named Donna Strange.
As the newest embodiment of the Ancient One, Donna Strange was in charge of those training grounds. Wong contacted her immediately, and her perfect "happy roommate" day off came to an abrupt conclusion. Victor heard his sister. She yelled out for an explanation, and she said something about being unable to believe what she was seeing. Ezekiel removed the faceplate of his armor as he glanced down at Victor's sister..
She forgot to conceal her actual appearance. Ezekiel, Victor, and Wade all looked upon her as she yelled up from her true form. In that moment, she looked like a simple young woman. Victor kept staring at his big sister. She looked pretty pissed off, and Wade Wilson continued singing that fucking song…
"And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming, or the moment of truth in your lies…So, when everything feels like the movies. Yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive."
Wade slowly wrapped up his awkward singing, then he actually waved down at Donna Strange. He smiled at her beneath his mask as well, and he told her that she was pretty. The mercenary clarified that he wasn't surprised to see that she was pretty, but he just wanted her to know that she was an attractive young woman. He also said something about fixing the walls they broke. Wade said that he's dabbled in carpentry work.
"Don't worry everyone, we'll take care of all this. It's just a patch up job, and that was our plan the whole time. Right Victor?"
Deadpool gave Victor a sharp pat on the back. The baby Strange was a bit in shock, and he inwardly told himself that he should have moved them into the Mirror Dimension. Wade's loud MOUTH distracted him from ever having the thought, and all Victor wanted to do was shut him up.
